Big Brother 16: Battle of the Block Spoiler!
Last night on the live feeds was crazy! First, our 2 HoHs got their HoH Rooms, basket and letters from home, and in a very rare treat, read straight from the BB Manual about the Rules of Nominations on the feeds. Late at night, after the Nomination Ceremony, BB started having crazy phrases blare through the speakers in the house. ♫ Party Foul, Streakin' through the Quad, I just wanna dance all night long. Panty Raid, Panty Raid, Panty Raid, Panty Raid..
Something was up. That something was the fast approaching Battle of the Block competition. The HGs played for it late last night, Jello Shots were involved, and we've got the spoiler right here!

Devin is the HoH for the week
Since they won, both Hayden and Nicole are off the block, and Amber is no longer HoH, which is just fine with her. Paola and Brittany remain on the block, and Devin is HoH for the week.
Brittany is Devin's target for the week. In fact, he made a 2 week safety deal with Paola, guaranteeing her safety if she threw the BoB and ensured that she and Brittany stayed up on the block.
Worse, according to Brittany, Devin called her a cow and pointed a finger gun at her when the comp was over, just to let her know she was toast.

As of 7am, most of the HG are still awake, fresh off the Battle of the Block competition.

Sorry for being Debbie downer, but this is a great group of HG's and I think it could be fun and I even think Caleb could turn around..:/ ..maybe..but I am sick of Devon and his treatment of women...and the women can't do anything or they go home..ugh..

Truly do wish that the housemates will start thinking on their own instead of being baaa baaa sheep going with someone that intimidates everyone into being scared ~ I know it is a game but does anyone realize you do not have to follow the house? Listening to Donnie and Cody finally getting a wake up call on to who is who in that house ~ am also so disappointed in Amber she freaked about Caleb being a stalker and realized Devin is just stirring the pot and then does the butt kiss thing ~ its like seriously you do not have a brain ?
Really wish Devin would have been knocked off the HOH by the BOB ... darn ... another two weeks of him ... double darn not double d ...
Happy 4th of July to everyone. I'm getting ready to go to a family BBQ , I hope the rain ( I'm northwest of Gainesville) will stop. Anyway, I just want to comment (first time, please bare with me). When they started this whole double Head Of House thing I turned to my husband (btw, he never watched BB before me, haha, now he loves the live feeds too) I told him..." This stinks , they are going to throw the comps on purpose and make deals". I knew it! Please CBS stop this madness. Devin needs to go, NOW, ASAP. In the beginning I have trouble remembering names, not his. I said " Devon, devil" have not forgotten it yet. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem first week, I need a score card and I make myself notes. Anyway, I am liking most of the new house guests but Devin ... Hot dang, if I was in that house I would go to the DR and say I feel threatened , I'm sure most of the ladies feel it along with some of the guys. My sweet Donny, please run for your life and be smart. I have so much to say and I need to make potato salad. I hope to become a member on this page with some fun thoughts and be able to make new friends. Happy 4th and Ty Caro for all you do. BB Production needs to step in and get rid of Devin!!!!He is truly scary!!! He threatens the HG, he breaks the rules, he is a loose cannon and now pointing a finger gun at Brittany!!!! So many of the HG are so afraid of him that they will do anything he says!! Get him out of the BB house before he does bodily harm to any of the HG!!! I find him repulsive to watch and listen to so much that I may have to cancel my live feeds and give up watching BB!!!!
What is Caleb weeping about? It must be something to do with Amber! That boy needs some help.
Kind of renews my faith in humanity that Nicole, a very down to earth girl, is being "courted" by 3 guys; Amber is a nice girl too, and Caleb is one lovesick puppy, not the crazy redneck people thought he would be (based on stuff leaked from the internet) & hopefully he won't turn into a crazed stalker after the show. :)

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday. As happens often with me I was working today. Have to work all weekend at the hospital not just the radio. I'm out by 2:30pm MMT though so that's good. Hoping I don't have to work the radio tomorrow night, that would be nice.
3:52pm BBT cam 3/4 Bit of game talk between Devin and Amber in the storage room. Nothing new, just confirming what's been said if Brit or Poa win POV.

Had some fish and came back to the backyard closed at 4:19pm BBT We expected it with parties and whatnot on the CBS lot. Caleb is saying he's having a hard time with the holiday since it reminds him of his military buddies. He tells Derrick he's going to ask DR to send us to fishes so they can play a patriotic song for him.

As a Swede I am still amazed how incredible this country is in spite of the continuous hatred and divisiveness lately. I am not surprised people in the House clash... when I see Americans do so much hating of one another for being different or thinking different on every level. It is very sad to me. The chat rooms and the internet is full of it too. I keep reminding myself that what made this country great is the core of the Declaration of Independence and I hope we once again can go back to that. For now, I try to escape into the insanity of paranoid people in a house... at least they have an excuse. ;-)
It was pure gold last night on the feeds and how fast it all happened. It's crazy if they continue to do these fast nominations or if this was simply because of today being the 4th and the studio lot will be holding a big loud party later on. It sure brought more drama and what I expected to happen happened. The Bomb Squad staying true for another week or so to have the numbers.
I may be the only one that was happy that Devin won the HoH. I think it is more drama and better over all for the game, because I still love these HGs, even the ones I like less. Being all Kumbaya in a game like this is less ideal. Having an antagonist and a protagonist is best for TV. Reading all the whiners on Twitter and elsewhere re. Devin not following the rules... makes me want to laugh. That rule has always been there and rarely followed completely. Even Evel Dick tweeted that he used to tell people all the time and nothing happened. So many people don't know the history of this game. It's almost ridiculous hearing the conversations with the "Potentially' stuck in there awkwardly every so often. Either way, it is what it is. Let the "game" continue... and if the curse of wanting somebody out follows... Britt will win POV. That would be funny. And Victoria would go up.

6:49pm BBT Devin and Derrick game talk. Devin explaining to Derrick why Amber is in the alliance, in his opinion. Devin says he's willing to be the first of the Bomb Squad to go on the block. As long as I'm safe, take me down. Perfect time for a double cross back stab. Frankie is here to, didn't see him in the bed.
7:03pm Poa comes up to HOH to talk to Devin. Devin tells her she can be perma pawn and make it far. She of course doesn't like being on the block of course. Poa asks Devin if he wins POV to take her down and put up Vic. He says he will and does a quick pinky swear again.
I just saw this... hope it means nothing serious.

7:22pm BBT cams 1/2 Zach volunteers to be a have not if Devin picks. Zach says he wants to take one for the team. Vic and Brit are two other picks. The forth who knows. Devin says if there are two more people in jury than the BS he wants Jocasta and Donny to fill those spots.

What is it with "HOH itis"? Devin has now put Pao in a bad place for telling people she threw the BOTB comp. So stupid and his lose lips may sink his ship. It would be Live Feed gold if Vic plays and wins and pulls down Britt. Then Devin would have to go back on his word or nominate somebody he doesn't want to nominate.
As for the Squad... if they splinter before the next HoH by keeping Britt if she is on the block, then both Caleb and Devin will fight extra hard in the next comps. Both can win. BB never works out the way people plan. LOL. Best bet to get rid of Devin would be a backdoor blindside.
If the Squad is broken up... they will be targeted. It happens every season. Stupid is as stupid does.
The reason I love this game... it's like playing chess if you don't get all emotional. It's like moving pieces here and there and seeing what moves work.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th, and I really appreciate your radio silence today, Carolyn. As a long ago Viet Nam era vet I completely understand what was going on with Caleb today. Sometimes things just have to pour out. He'll be okay tomorrow. (Well, not okay but back to his usual uneven keel.)
Tonight, catching up on today's feeds I am happy to see revolution brewing in the House. The Bomb Squad came together too fast and is bound to fracture. There are many possible realignments and watching them coalesce will be fun.
The four I hope last the longest (at this point) are Frankie, Christine, Derrick and Donny. The two "targets" I would have are the control freaks, Devin and Caleb.
I hope these kids can raise the "bloody shirt" and overthrow the PTB this week.
