HOH Spoiler and aftermath!

Anyone else feeling a vague sense of Deja Vu? ME TOO! Here's hoping it's not 100% the same.... Either way, we'll have the HOH spoiler...

6:36- Feeds Back CALEB IS THE NEW HOH!

Discussion is about what the POV is gonna be, and if they're gonna use the same thing, and what's coming up for next week.

Derrick: She did say we're gonna reply the whole week - she didn't say it'd be a whole week in 3 days.
Frankie: She did not.
Derrick: I could live with that..

And our Dino is back.. :)
Frankie seems to be studying the Memory Wall  - likely in prep for the upcoming Morph. They're discussing everyone's eye colors, etc.

Caleb: It'll be the fastest Veto ever. That HOH we done faster this time, cuz we knew what to do. And we had more balls. Seeds.

They're all trying to figure out how the rest of the week will work - they don't know what we know, of course. :) Victoria is in straight up study mode:
All of them are:
And yes, Frankie looks worried..

7:04 in the fire room - Derrick gives us a little celebration

Derrick: YES. YES. Just gotta win the Veto. He beat me once, he won't beat me again.

victoria comes in
Derrick: See? What did I tell you! We gotta win the veto. Got to.
Victoria: ok, gotta fuckin' win in.

She vacates, and Derrick does his weekly 'put his things away' deal. Every week he puts his things aside in one area in the event he gets tossed in a surprise evict. It's been working for him!

Caleb comes in

Derrick: I could fuckin kiss you right now, I really could.
Caleb: If we put it up it'll give him fire to win the veto
Derrick: he'll have fire either way. We have time - but I was thinking when I get nervous, I don't do well, so if he feels comfortable..
Caleb: I have to keep my game in mind too.. if he wins, and then is HOH next week?
Derrick: If I didn't love you like I do, I'd be after you - you are his biggest threat. I'm not gonna do what he did, throw in my family, but I'm looking at you like fuck... your a big target now. I'd say sleep on it.. and we'll talk..
Caleb: I feel like I have to watch for my game and try to keep you safe. Worst comes to worst, I say, we've all talked we know what's going on, it's Victoria, Derrick, say it's you and her, Frankie wins the veto - or someone else does and I put him up. Be honest, you're a huge threat...I just think it's best...
Derrick: talk to Cody too, because Frankie already came up to me.. and Cody said do it the same again, so he's expecting you to do that, so talk to him too. I'm torn right now - he was off the block last week and he smoked it

Frankie comes in and instantly Derrick changes

Derrick: just stay on top of her - what if she sits there longest then all of us..
Caleb: yeah, but I don't think you can prepare for that one
Derrick: She knows she's gonna go up - if she sits there for three days and studies the wall, it could be a problem. I can't talk to her - clearly... Now she has an opportunity..
Frankie: Yeah, ok.
Caleb: I don't think she's gonna win, but..
Derrick: You just never know..
Caleb: If she did, I'd have to put two people I care about a lot, and I'd have to send someone home. I know it's part of the game, but back to me having such a heart like that..
Frankie: We all knew it was gonna be shitty at this stage...

Derrick: She wins the POV, and there's some shifting, but she can't win. I mean it's not likely, but..
Caleb: and it might be a double evict...
Frankie: I think it would be..
Caleb: They can't extend the season, that'd be breaking the contract..

Fish

Caleb leaves, Victoria comes in and leaves.. Derrick works on Frankie..

Derrick: It is what it is. She'll go to the jury and talk, and..
Frankie: I don't think he'll do the same, he is obsessed with Cody...
Derrick: or me. He crushed that. he was so fast!
Frankie: i'm just thrilled I get to play next week! Final four and final three.
Derrick: If he puts me up I understand... but
Frankie: yeah, it'd just be weird, why piss off someone else...

In the kitchen - caleb is talking about who to put up, with Cody.

Caleb: I mean, for my game. I just don't want to piss anyone off. I'm where he was last week.
Cody: I don't think he tried 100%
Caleb: He did. You can't throw a comp like that. and if you do? Go home.

Derrick joins
Caleb: If he's not up, he'll relax...
Derrick: He knew he was save last week - and he won.

Frankie joins kitchen crew. Victoria is alone in bed, after giving us a little talk

Victoria: Mark my words - if I don't get final two? Derrick will. Just watch.

Everyone else is back to speculation on how the week will happen..

7:40 - Derrick and Cody

Cody: He's not gonna put him up..
Derrick: Break it down - he's got a final two with him. Frankie did it already with no pressure, if he's not on the block and relaxed again.. He's like hes gonna come after me, and I'm like how? We're the votes.
Cody: and he mentioned to me that Frankie ran to him and was like Cody goes up it stays the same and I was like I don't want to go on the block. I'm not down for that. I was like Frankie.. he can't come after you cuz he was like whoa, I may see if Derrick wants to go
Derrick: then I win next week and put him up! even if we get frankie out, put him up next to Victoria and I vote his ass out.
Cody: Yeah, I'll told him.
Derrick: We take Victoria we'll lose - we take her, we win final three.
Cody: I already knew, that's why I was pissed off. We were neck and neck - and Frankie ahd a ton, and I was like it's me and Caleb, I need to beat him.. I knew he wouldn't put him up. That's why I was pissed. I tried to go faster, and dropped... This kid.. I'm telling you right now, Frankie didn't try to win that comp. If you don't think it, you're blind.
Derrick: he was like I'm so glad I get to play next week
Cody: Exactly! you don't say that then do the same comp...You on the block, I win Veto? I'm pulling you off and voting him out. Done.
Derrick: look for things like distinctive things...
Cody: do they take things off?
Derrick: no, like the liner around Brittney's eyes, and the birthmark..
Cody: Yeah, ok.'
Derrick: We have to try to get him to put Frankie up.. it shows loyalty to us.
Cody: yeah, Is tarted to in the kitchen, and he was hesitant.

Derrick: if he's not on the block, wins veto, he could use it on VICTORIA, and one of us is going home...
Cody: Yeah..
Derrick: you have to say it, because I'm probably going on the block. And throw in the fact that I'm is the weakest, and frankie will want to take him to the final two..

Cody: It comes down to this Veto.
Derrick: He's trying not to show us his cards and I'm like, you know me and Cody are smarter than you..
Cody: We're 100 times smarter than you.

Cody: what he's telling me by not putting Frankie up is your not confident with us. Where's your loyalty? Trust me dude - my head is thinking the same way as your head.

8:45 - quick Caleb Derrick Cody in the bathroom

Caleb: I love the heck out of both of you - want to be in the end with you. All of our family is sitting out there. I also want you to know that putting Frankie on the block.. it scares me for my game. If he wins, comes off.. that scares me. You've had a lot of stress and Frankie was there, and was like Cody was stress, we know what the deal is..
Cody: that he said that about me stresses me out..
Caleb: he just said that your gonna keep it the same...  play it through - put Frankie up and he wins, then.. if he doesn't win..
Derrick: I respect whatever you do - I go by math. He doesn't go up, he can send one of us home. He wins, takes victoria off and say now you have to send one of you home. If you don't put him up - and then he says now you HAVE to.. if he puts him up, wins the veto, he has to pull himself off. If he wins HOH, one of us still has the votes. I mean we'l go up if you want too - but if you do, he could take Victoria off, and then say you have to vote one of them..
Cody: Yeah, I hadn't even thought of that - and I think he'd want to send me.
Derrick: He won't send me home because he can beat me, and I'm gonna feel like a smuck, you'll fell like a smuck..
Caleb: I want to do what's best for us three.
Derrick: If yo put him up? I'm gonna live on that wall for the next three days - you put him on the block, I'm gonna win it. He's gonna go home. He's not gonna go after you. I mean, I almost beat him and I hadn't even looked at it. You put him up, he takes himself off, put me up.
Caleb: ok.
Derrick: Obviously don't send me home, but if that's the case, do it.
Caleb: That's what I'll do then.
Cody: Do whats best for you
Caleb: yeah, but we're in it together. He's on a different page then us. He's in there like I didn't try..
Cody: I think he threw it..
Derrick So he can play next week.
Cody: If he did - your an idiot, this is my thing, I think he did. Even if he wasn't going too - he wasn't gonna beat you.
Caleb: I crushed it. He was crushed. I want us for sure to be safe

Derrick: There's only one way. Only one way.
Cody: and you wouldn't be competeing next week - he'd beat..
Caleb: only reason I'd think about him not taking her, we told him he wouldn't win
Cody: He won't take her to final two - but to three? yeah. And he came up to you and said he was ok, nerves don't bother me because I have you too
Caleb: My speach, Victoria, I'm nominating you because we've had a final four this whole time, then I'm gonna say, if you're on the block you have a better chance to win..
Derrick: Don't say that, just say I'm not putting Cody up, I'm gonna pick a number, and then make it to I'm closer...
Cody: it can come down to cody sat next to me, and sat through an entire week.
Derrick: He didn't get a chance to compete - I got boned out of this rewind..
Caleb: that's it... yup, nominated you and you, Victoria, have a final four, and Cody was there this whole week, Derrick didn't get a chance to play to save himself.
Derrick: Keep on final four final four final four.. then if he wins.. we're ok. If he beats me, put me up.  And if he gets mad, if he comes down, he still has to win in order to come after you.
Caleb: You two jamokes, you gotta win it.
Derrick: i'm gonna win it. I was 24 seconds off last time and I never looked at the wall. I'm gonna live on the memory wall. You are securing the final four this way.

Derrick heads to give Victoria the news, while Caleb and Cody study the wall. Derrick joins a few moments later.

11:04 - Caleb to the DR, and FINALLY! 11:07 - who wants to see Caleb's HOH room?

Frankie: Caleb - you look like you're 7 years old!
Victoria: you look SO good!
Caleb: That's my best friend, Bear!

Thanks for keep us informed Lessa.

Hmmmmm not sure what a Caleb win means. Will he take a shot at Frankie? If so I believe it will be after the POV and not before so I hope Cody and Vic like being nomed again. Guess Derrick and Victoria need to make up fast now. Maybe let it play out? Can they do that? If they don't, what happens I wonder.

Going to be a bit more interesting this week. No feeds :( Oh well, more Sims 4 I guess :)

Now if only Caleb gets smart and puts Frankie on the block. I know that he'd have a chance to win POV, but he waits to backdoor him he could still win the POV and Caleb wouldn't be able to backdoor him.

Oh, the problems of being HOH so close to the end of the game.

Everyone plays in POV anyway - there is no back door. So they should put Frankie on the block, regardless.

I see a Veto on Friday... and now hope for a Derrick to win and to take Vic off... to gain her back for the boys. Vic and Frankie on the block would be ideal. If Frankie wins PoV... Cody goes up and is safe.

Can Victoria keep on with the charade? She most likely leaves Tuesday or Wednesday.

They are going to have to back door Frankie if they want him out. Too risky to put him on the block with a veto comp to play.

hi Lucky! Things are going well! We head to the Big City on Friday to get his shoulder surgery on Saturday - we're falling apart. haha. We worked it though to where I'm still in my recovery so I don't have to take anymore time off work. But it aughta be interesting - since I can't lift anything still and he's gonna need help doing everything for a while.. *L*

Other than getting old - we're doing great! :)

September 10, 2014 at 6:56 PM
Blogger Lessa said...

Robin - there is no back door - they ALL play! A true backdoor is when there's the chance the target doesn't play POV, but once they get to the final 6, everyone plays, therefore no backdoor. He has the same chance no matter if he's on the block or off. And he's gonna play to win for sure.

With an eviction on Tuesday, and Wednesday, we'll be at the final three. I expect the "special Friday episode" to be what is normally a Special Sunday episode - and be the final three dinner/look back over the season. for "never before seen footage" kinda thing.

Hey! Any idea time wise how this week will play out? When will this house guest go home and hoh be played again?

September 10, 2014 at 9:32 PM
Blogger Lessa said...

Well, we know there will be an eviction on tuesday - bringing us to final four, and one on wednesday, bringing us to final three. My guess is that we will see noms played tomorrow (thur) POV on friday, POV meeting on sunday, then we'll be blocked out from the feeds from live show tuesday until live show wednesday as they do noms, veto, and likely veto meeting live on wednesdays show, where we'll have the first of the three part HOH to end the show.

Depending on how long that one lasts - part two will be thursday afternoonish. The final part will play out live on finale night.

Then Friday's show will be the "look back" dinner they always do.

At least, that's what I think. I could be wrong. :)

I simply have to share this article... it's a fun read and says so much. It's a recap from Entertainment Weekly. Check the link and photos... Hilarious.

http://tvrecaps.ew.com/recap/big-brother-recap-season-16-episode-35/

Big Brother recap: The glimmering crocodile tears of Princess Victoria, First of Her Name
The game rewinds, but not before Derrick sends Victoria undercover.

Surely, my friend, you've heard the theory of the Butterfly Effect, the scientific postulation conceived by Edward Lorenz–known as "Lorenzo" to his friends. The Butterfly Effect states that a small microcosmic activity can have a vast macrocosmic effect on an environment. A butterfly flaps its wings in Austria, and as a result, a hurricane strikes the coast of Florida. Or a butterfly flaps its wings in Honduras, and as a result, Ashton Kutcher becomes a millionaire and a technology icon and marries Demi Moore and then marries Meela Kooniz.
The Butterfly Effect was the subject of this Wednesday's episode of Big Brother. At the beginning of the episode, a single tear emerged from Victoria's eye. She was up on the block; she knew how much the boys love each other; she knew that she was going home. The single tear made its way down Victoria's cheek. It fell to the ground—and simultaneously, several giga-miles into deep space, an electric storm eradicated an entire society of cyborg cephalopods who resided in the Swamplands around the third hemisphere of the fourth moon of Caltoru. Another tear emerged from Victoria's left eye, and fell upon the table—and the tele-cosmic turbulence caused by two Victoria tears in one day drowned the psychic ant-people of the Omega Centauri galaxy.

"Alas for me!" whispered Victoria to herself. "Alas, for all my hopes and dreams! Who would have thought that I, Princess Victoria, would be leaving the Big Brother house? Did I not play this game perfectly? Did I not sacrifice four houseflies every Tuesday to the Empress Ju Lee? Did I not breathe precisely 23 thousand times per day? Why, just the other day, the pretty parrot who lives in the freezer told me I was one of the game's greatest players ever! Was it all for naught? Oh, Froggington, my dearest Froggington, won't you come rescue your princess from her plight? Am I hungry?"

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Caleb and Cody have underestimated Victoria. They think she is a meat shield, a helpful slab to carry along, something that will eventually need to be disposed of. This is why they are good players, but not great players. Frankie does not underestimate Victoria. He recognizes her power. "If I find myself sitting next to her next week, I know I'm going home," said Frankie. Follow this, if you can: Victoria is a useless player; because she is a useless player, she would be an ideal Final Four compatriot for a useful player; and that makes her one of the biggest threats to Frankie's game. Victoria is pure antimatter: If science could harness her, we'd already be on Mars.
Frankie's smart. Derrick's smarter. Frankie sees a threat; Derrick sees an opportunity.

Derrick and Frankie circle each other now. They're like two gunslingers at the end of a Sergio Leone movie–the last two survivors, the guys who killed everyone else or anyhow managed to survive while everyone else killed each other. Maybe they were never even enemies. There have been nemeses before inside of the Big Brother house. But for much of this season, it practically seemed like Derrick and Frankie were living in two very different houses.
Frankie has played a wild, in-your-face social game; Derrick has played a steady background game, subtly and incisively shifting the axis of the house in his direction. It's like Frankie is the hero in a fantasy novel—a barbarian warrior whose weapon is bright pink battle-axe and whose only article of clothing is a speedo made of Direwolf Pelt dyed purple in Dragons' blood—while Derrick is the hero in a sci-fi spy thriller novel–a faceless time-traveling shapeshifter, an espionage renegade with his own mad plans for the world, who pops up in the background of photographs taken in every era of history.
So they circle each other now, telling lies upon lies. Derrick tells Frankie that he sees this game as a Final Three battle between Frankie, Caleb, and Cody. "If you want me to be candid with you, I think it's an unwritten thing between the three of you," he says. Much of what he says is true—Derrick and Frankie are both game masters, capable of recognizing the unique strategies of their final-act opponents. Derrick pointed out that Caleb has "never told someone one thing and done another": The Frontstab Strategy. He told Frankie that Cody is a popular, handsome boy.

Frankie nodded, and he agreed. And yet he can see Derrick—maybe he's the only one who can. (Nicole knew Derrick was a great player, but she still bought into the idea of him as a basically nice guy—and so she was ruthlessly dispatched.) Frankie was clear: "I'm not counting Derrick out of winning the $500,000 at all."
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Derrick's mind game didn't work on Frankie. So he tried another strategy. "There may be people in this house who think Victoria's useless," he explained. Not Derrick. He talked to her. He told her how much he wanted her to stay. But he also talked to her about the bad future—what it would be like, with her in the jury as his No. 1 fan. Victoria was a threat to Derrick, too; a guaranteed vote made him a target. (Part of what makes Derrick's game play so interesting is that his central strategy is to erase himself from the game.)
So he needed her help. Could she pretend to hate him? Could she tell Frankie that she would never, in a million years, vote in favor of Derrick? And could she sell it—I mean really sell it, Victoria, maybe even show legitimate emotion for the first time all summer?

Oh yeah. Victoria jumped at the chance to play a spy in King Frankie's Throne Room. "Derrick just told me he's not voting to keep me," said Victoria. "It just sucks Frankie." The look on Frankie's face! He was shocked, and he tried so hard to look sympathetic, but you could see a wide smile crossing his face—a laugh even, as if he couldn't believe his luck.

Victoria kept on. "I don't ever want to look at him, talk to him, I don't respect him as a person," she said. "I don't even want to talk to him."
"Oh honey," said Frankie, "I completely understa–"
"When I leave this house," continued Victoria. "I will call down all the hounds of hell upon him. Because he hast betrayed me, he will be the most accursed beast of the field, and upon his belly shall he go, and dust shall he eat all the days of his life."
"Well, this is a game," interjected Frankie, "and sometimes in games–"
"I want him DEAD. I want his family DEAD. I want his house BURNED TO THE GROUND! I want his children EATEN by CUTE PUPPIES."
"That sounds quite–"
"My name is Victorius Decimus Meridius. Commander of the armies of the North. General of the Felix legions. Loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Phoebus Froggington. Mother to a murdered goldfish, girlfriend to a murdered mockingjay. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."
I have heard some people describe Derrick as "boring." Watching him is a little bit like watching someone play the World Series of Poker: The action all internal, the emotions all repressed behind a quiet veneer. The anti-Derrick brigade might argue that there is no great Derrick moment from this season. Look no further, I say. Derrick has achieved the impossible: He weaponized Victoria.

OK. Sorry. Not. So. Sorry.

I almost peed my pants reading the aforementioned article. The last page with screen caps of Cody and imaginary movie plots was the icing on the cake.

Seriously, if you love BB... head on over there, even the Jury is mentioned.

Goodnight.

What makes all Derrick's intricacy so uninteresting for me is knowing a person is full of BS. Derrick talks too much to be trusted

OK. Many disagree with you fully. And I am one. I see his finesse. To each his own.

@Tella, my friend and ally on Team Derrick!

Thanks so very much for sharing!! What a great read! It is, a shame that others don't see Derrick the same way we do! Even my best girlfriend in this wide world is pulling for Frankie, altho, she admitted that she didn't know about the ZingBot thing and those horrible remarks, sooo she may have changed her mind, idk. She and I have never seen eye to eye on our BB choices, which is hilarious because in everything else we do, we are so much alike! She told me that she would NEVER pull for a cop, simply put, she hates cops, policemen, etc.... She also believes it unfair for Derrick to have the skills of an undercover officer, and be able to compete! We went round and round over that reason!!! I am sure those of you really watching and knowing the game, know what my come back to that was! Too long to explain here, but you could say the same about others who are competition beasts!
Thank you again Tella! That certainly was enjoyable!

Thanks Carolyn and Lessa!
Much Love & Peace to you and all BBDishers out there!
