Big Brother 10 Final Weeks Breakdown
Julie Chen made the official announcement last night, with very little fanfare at the end of the Thursday, August 28th Double Elimination Live Show: the finale will be September 16th!
Live Shows with Tickets are starred below. The shows (formerly) available to the public live audience are scheduled as follows:
★ 9/4/08 - Thursday - We go from Final 5 to Final 4.
★ 9/9/08 - Tuesday - We Go from Final 4 to Final 3, and this is the most likely evening for the 1st part of the Final 3 HoH to begin. The first part of the final 3 HoH is always Endurance.
The second part of the final 3 HoH would logically follow on Wednesday, and it is always physical.
★ 9/11/08 - Thursday - The final part of the Final 3 HoH is always mental, and will likely air live on Thursday night. The winner will get to decide who is coming along to the Final 2. And the unlucky #3 final HG will be evicted in front of the assembled live audience.
The finale is Tuesday the 16th of September, and the tickets are not listed on the ticket site.

Good Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Carolyn Darlin. I've been refreshing the blog all day to keep up, and once in a while turning on the feeds. This has been a crazy day in the house and in my house. While trying to keep up with the HG, I have also been trying to keep up with my HG.
So while the BB house has been getting quieter and more empty, my house has gotten noisier and more crowded. But that is what families do.
So everyone on the Gulf coast and the Florida coast stay safe this next week. With Gustav and Hannah floating around out there, please be careful.
I'll check in when I can, and will miss all of you and I will read comments when I can, but that is hard to do with extra bodies around. So ya'll better be nice to Carolyn and ReporterX. Oh and please Dawn and Kim, I am a visual person, so will need lots of caps to see expressions and all the action.

Okay, I'm feeling a night time morph POV comp in the air. How well do we think these guys will do?
Memphis-who the heck knows! He says he's good at puzzles and he did win the one last week, it's a possibility.
Renny-she's going to be a nervous wreck. If they make them dizzy or something on top of it all, maybe not so good.
Jerry-the man is a comp freak! C'mon! Actually, sadly he may do well because the morph always makes the HGs look weird/bad and he's been talking about them all so much, that's probably his perception of them.
Keesha-she has a decent chance. Still a bit of a question-mark there for me.
Dan-I hope this is his but I don't know. He has studied the memory wall A LOT. I've caught him silently looking at it almost everyday he's been in the house. Whether at dinner, in the morning or late at night. Even from the balcony of the HOH room.
Ideally, yes I'd like Memphis to win and take Dan down. Ensures Renny leaves. I like her, but you can't take her to F2. Barring that scenario, Dan wins takes himself down, Memphis goes up and possibly to jury.
This is why I was so confused they evicted Ollie last night. Ollie proved twice last night that he can't win comps. Yet they keep the colonel with 2 POVs and a verrryy close HOH contest.
Oh well, it's BB. Expect the Unexpected.

Does anyone else think that they still might be able to get rid of Renny if any of K/D/M use the veto? I doubt Jerry would put Memphis up for fear of him going home (because of that BS deal). Any thoughts?

Brook, what peace? LOL. At this point it really didn't matter who was left with the Fab 4. It wasn't going to be stress free. They knew they'd have to start nominating and evicting each other. Might as well give yourselves the best chance of actually making it to F4.

Carolyn-I think it almost has to be. We're down to F5 and it's not made an appearance yet. It's actually late in the game for it now. I can't imagine they've dropped it as a comp. It's a fan fave and the HGs get a good laugh out of it even if they lose.

i think if the veto is used jerry may put up memphis as a "pawn" though we know how that usually goes down... if jerry were to put up renny i think she'd be gone. i believe k/d/m all feel that if she were next to them in the final 2 that she would win it all which is likely why they have unofficially deemed her the most expendable

I almost screamed again last night when Jerry said there were less than 4 weeks left. Sometimes it seems like we just started and then I look at the empty house and realize why I am so tired and scatterbrained! I'm getting that "empty nest" feeling coming on.

I think that Memphis would be able to make the case that he would be in danger of going home, with Renny voting to evict him and the POV doing the same. He could promise Jerry that at worst it would be a 1-1 tie for whoever he wants to go to go, and then Jerry can cast the final vote.
Who knows though, let's just hope Memphis wins it and we don't have to deal with that!

Survivor is not my favorite reality show, I always try to get into it every year but somehow lose interest. I have a strong suspicion with all of you around talking about it, the interest will intensify. ☺
The Amazing Race is the best! My husband even watches that with me, and he hates, err, dislikes reality shows just a little bit. lol

Gosh I don't know what I want now because I really like Keesha and Dan.
I suppose the best scenario would be for Keesha or Dan to win PoV for themselves and get off the block - but then who goes up? Renny or Memphis...who would Jerry put up?
Did I miss something about Jerry and his power trip he's on? Why does he feel he can control the Jury House and how everyone is going to vote? Arrogance?
UGH! And all those terrible, disgusting things he has said about Keesha- that's just awful and unwarranted. I feel bad for her when she sees it and I am sure his sick wife & family must be mortified.
That Michelle is a hoot- her interview with Julie Chen- the whole Dan is a plant...and she says her behavior has been "the calm Michelle"- yuk.

As far as getting rid of jerry or ollie, since it happened so fast, they didn't have time to think about it or talk about it and went on instinct as they really wanted ollie gone. I think if they had had the time to weigh their options, they would have evicted jerry..........

yeah, billy - i know memphis would for sure plead that case but i'm just not sure jerry's brain would go there. sometimes i think jerry just feels like as hoh he is just supposed to "speak and it shall be" plus - i know he has a deal w/ memphis and i know memphis probably thinks it's bs...but i can't help but wonder if jerry would throw memphis under the bus for renny. i don't know - but yeah i'm w/ you - hopefully it's a moot point

Are we SURE Memphis' final 2 deal with Jerry was really BS, Carolyn? Memphis seemed REALLY shady with Dan just now. And have they talked about their plan since last night? Doesn't look to me like Dan should count on Memphis. What does everyone think?

Regarding the hg morph. I think and have a feeling Dan would do very well with one of these comps. Simply for the reason that he is a teacher and has to remember so many different faces every year.
Regarding Renny throwing Keesha under the bus. Well I can't say that that's what I would have done in her position. But we all know Renny. She has done some strange things but when it counts she has, in the past at least, always done the right thing. So I'm not quite ready to abandon her just yet. I wavered once before on her and, like I said, she did the right thing. I'm hoping this is the same.
Now please remember I don't have the live feeds and I may get blasted for this but I got to ask. What is the difference of her doing it and Memphis going up and telling Jerry that he had nothing with Dan. When we know perfectly well that they are the final 2 Renegads.
Now since I said that I'll go and sit in my corner.

Patti, I didn't want my daughter to worry. She is on Fla Panhandle and may be dealing with Gustav. We are very close I adore her, but sometimes she thinks she is MY mother and not the other way around. I would be in trouble, lol. I tell her most things but not all. She doesn't need to be 1000 miles away fretting over mom. She has two beautiful girls to worry about. I will prob end up telling her some day in the future.
I agree this would be the perfect time for morph POV, but selfishly would rather see another more physical one more suited to Dan or Memphis.

And Renny has "always" had doubts about Dan and Memphis. From the begining she's had her doubts. I don't know her reasons about Keesha but the other two she has always said she didn't trust them. She has told Keesha that many times.

Last but not least, TAR has always been my favorite show, Well, until I started following your blog. Are the live feeds available for TAR and Survivor? I can't imagine how it would work with TAR.

I can remember a long time ago when reality TV was young. Not being able to understand why folks bothered with it. Preferred my movies, dramas, comedies, news, documentaries. Caught a few very early Survivors, and BBs. Then found The Amazing Race and was instantly hooked. Loved all the places they visit and the scavanger hunt format, watched every episode with my older granddaughter. Moved on to Survivor and in season 8 came to BB. If I have to have an addiction I'm glad its one AI can enjoy and share with so many other friendly addicts.
Carolyn, you mentioned you had sent D. Dan to his sister or Monica. I certainly hope she don't think it showed him in a negative light or if she saw any of the others. Do either of them follow dish? I'm kinda worried now that someone related to one of the hgs might be offended by one of my rhymes. I don't want to hurt or offend anyone. Don't care much how Ollie, April, Michelle, Jerry feel themselves but their poor families.

With him, it's really hard to tell. But, he seems to believe Memphis (for some reason). It's just a major crapshoot. But I think that the 3 have a better chance at winning veto, so there's hope that he can talk.

Noni, I know how it is with kids. My daughter and son are actually here, they came up today to make sure I am okay. They both are way over protective, but I know it is because they care. We are all very close and I love them to death, so like you I try not to let on about some things as not to worry them. They have enough.
Carolyn, you are incredible. You have made a community that is unbelievable (warm & loving) and I just want you to know how very special that is to me and I think to the others in our 'family'. Hugs and warm thoughts that you rest and take care of yourself because as a family, we take care of each...that means worrying and making sure one is not working ones fingers or bum off *wink*

I know you're napping, Carolyn, and don't know if you'll see this and I hope to repost this later, but I just had to share this funny moment on the feeds just now (about 9 bbt). Jerry went to BR, and left w/out washing hands. The funny part is the camera person followed him down the hall, then zoomed in on sinks and went back and forth, as to look like a shaking of the head. I don't know if this is clear, but in other words, camera person getting grossed out about the nonwashing of the hands! Pretty amusing!
I think a morphing POV is a comin'!
I sense a morph comp this time around. We haven't had one and usually it's done at F6. This would give Dan a strong chance. If not a win... he's a goner as I predicted last week by his stupid toying of people's emotions.

Dan must feel very certain that this is going to be the morph comp. It ios about an hour to comp and he is really studying the memory wall. Keesha is extremely tipsy, squealing and getting very silly and Renny is feeling no pain either. Don't think R or K are going to be strong competitors. Earlier, as they were drinking you could hear BB reminding them POV in 90 minutes. Jerry was watching them drink, had a bit of wine himself but probably very smug that the gals were going to be competing under the influence. They killed almost two bottles of wine. Gonna be some comp! Looks like it will be between Memphis, Dan, and Jerry.
They need to be thinking about how the POV thing will work ... if a nominee wins and uses it on themselves, they risk their ally being put up... but if their ally wins and takes them off, HOH is forced to put the other team's ally up. Of course if Jerry wins it's all a done deal and Dan will go automatically. I really hope Dan wins and Memphis goes up, because I don't think Memphis will save him if he wins.
OMG. BB has so rigged this comp by not telling them they were playing for POV before they got drunk. Dan doesn't drink and BB knows that.
Again, BB trying to force a certain outcome. If Dan wins, Memphis will be going home. Jerry will not leave the two guys in the house for next week. Not if he is smart.

Hmmm, the 4 fooling around before the POV comp. Keesha was imitating April and the feel my boobs bit. Renny saying she liked men and not that type said wouldn't want to touch Aprils because of all the incisions. Boob job, yes April?
Renny said a nono talking about sleeping with Steven yelling she wasn't a F** hag. Did not like that at all. Not happy with Renny, last 24 hrs. Throwing the others under the bus to Jerry today, kissing up to the colonel while she claims she isn't, and really crude and obnoxious tonight (although funny some of the time), but should def not be able win tonight. I think Dan and Memphis are winding her up after she had been drinking so much so she can't play. She's goin nutso!
this is going to be a real interesting one to watch fer sure!
And at 3:00AM eastern we have fishies and then trivia! The comp is on! yeah! I anm so excited not goin to bed now, I have my second wind.
