They're trying to figure out how to convince Memphis to keep Dan on the block... Keesha says they need to present him with hard facts, but she's also pretty resolved to the fact that one of them - her or Renny - is going home. Renny is bashing Dan... Keesha's listening and saying you're right at appropriate moments.
Keesha: See, they're out there talking. Yeah.. he's gonna throw us under the bus as much as possible.
Renny: Look at it game wise from Memphis' point of view.
Keesha: I don't think Memphis is gonna get rid of him... To be completely honest..
Renny: Well, he's not gonna get rid of you.
Keesha: Not unless Dan completely screwed him over by saying some stuff upstairs, and it's gott abe some hardcore stuff.
Renny: You think he'd tell you if he was gonna use it?

Okay back to smiles and celebrating in my world....I know they can't be happy Renny's leaving but WOO-HOO Renny is leaving and I could not be more thrilled. I really did like her until Jerry held his "meetings" the other night and the Mean Renny came out and what can I say, karma is a bitch. Just ask April and Michelle!
This is great, I am now hoping Jerry leaves next week, and Memphis, Dan and Keesha are F3. Then I hope Memphis leaves and Dan and Kee are F2 but I don't expect that to happen. I expect M/D to be F2 with probably Memphis winning. Too early to make predictions? I'd love to see Dan win but I have a strong feeling Jerry, Michelle and Ollie aren't really happy with him atm. Nor is April for that matter. IF and this is a big if, they voted on game play, yes Dan would win. Michelle still believes Jerry lies about Dan placing his hand on the bible and promising to keep Jessie. She believes what benefits her small mind more that she chooses to believe the truth.

noni -- you're right about Michelle going off on Renny if she is in the house (re the salon).
But, if Michelle was smart she wouldn't do it in front of Renny. I somehow think that if Renny was in the house, we will see her without any paranoia. And she is probably the ONE of all the HGs that could take care of Michelle if no gameplay was involved.
I do love Renny, but agree it's best for the Fab 4 that she's the first to go. Well, not best for her but best for the Fab 3.

Memphis has me confused. He has promised Keesha, Dan and now Jerry to the final two. I know he won't keep the deal with Jerry cause he hates him. I am curious which of the two he would take with him. To make it worse, Dan has done the same with Keesha and Memphis. It's gonna be exciting to see what happens. I do hate for Renny to go.
Of the three, it doesn't matter to me who wins it. They did a great job getting this far in the game. I will back track a little, I would like to see Dan and Keesha final two.
Does anyone think that the twist will be that the empty key hole will be America's vote?

Renny had me grinning ear to ear last nite on BBAD. She was thisclose to Keesha the whole night. Did anyone else catch how she was eyeing Keesha's breastis-is? She was very touchy feely with Keesha and Dan. The house would be so boring and hard to watch after next week. :(

Corrosion and build up will interfere with connection battery's ability to charge. Have had that prob many times.

I'm not understanding why Renny is so upset with Dan. Yesterday she was terrible to him, but somehow turned it around that he was being mean. I'm with Gaytor...jumping off the Renny train. This SUCKS! I don't want renny to leave! As much as I love keesha, dan and memphis, I love Renny too. I wish Dan would have won the pov and memphis would be going home instead, cause at this point i prefer renny to memphis. Then again, when she talked smack about keesha to jerry the night he won HOH, I started to dislike renny a bit, if there was one person I never expected to talk smack about keesha it was renny. So actually, after that, I guess I do prefer if renny left, LOL, it's hard to pick one of them cause I love the fab four! I just hope jerry doesn't win pov next week so it can be dan, memphis, and keesha in final 3!

There is no corrosion, although I cleaned it anyway, which is why I believe it is the alternator. That and that lovely clicking noise that comes from a bad alternator. Getting Renny out this way is the best for Keesha. She and Renny have no chance of making it to F2 while Dan or Memphis are in the game. This way, Keesha is not the one who has to vote Renny out.
Keesha is now saying that Dan threw them all under the bus to the Colonel. She's really getting on the Dan bashwagon now. But it is Jeery feeding it to Renny who is using it to turn Keesha against Dan, and hopefully Memphis against Dan too.

Marci, thanks for asking about daughter, Son-in-law, and granddaughters. Have talked to all of them today more than once. They are watching very closely. Ready to go if they have to with 2 dogs, cat, and Macaw. That house lost its roof to Ivan, I think not Katrina, It was before they owned it. They were still here in Jersey then. They're not on Pensacola beach thank goodness. My cousin was just transferred from there (she's in the Coast Guard) to coastal TX. She is probably going to be very busy, she's a pilot.

Jane - I am with you about Jerry's ways. He has always given me a creepy feeling by the way he talks to the girls and his sexist remarks. When Keesha got her letter from JJ & was all lovey about it the first thing Jerry brought up was JJ wants to have sex with you. JJ had mentioned in the ltr that he couldn't wait for Keesha & him to go on vacation together or just be locked up in their bedroom for 3 weeks. Awe...I feel bad for Keesha. I really hope Memphis makes sure Dan keeps her. Memphis knows it is in his best interest to keep her. Memphis knows in the final 3 Renny would get him out if the opportunity presented itself and Keesha would more than likely keep him over everyone. So as plans go, I really think Memphis will fight to make sure Keesha stays after Dan is off the block.
Maybe its just me, but if I am these hgs I want Dan to stay. He has made so many enemies and I would want to sit next to him in the final two. Thats why I don't understand why all these people want to get rid of him and why Jerry did not even put Renny on the block. Keesha, Memphis, and Dan should all be trying to get Jerry and Renny out because those two have the most friends in the jury house. Keesha and Dan should than get Memphis out who again would beat both of them. This is just me though. I hope Memphis sticks with his plan.

Keesha has figured out that Jerry was lying about Dan throwing everyone under the bus because he wouldn't say exactly what Dan said.
She is one smart player. She always seems to be able to see through people, to read them, if you will. She summarizes situations quickly and adeptly, processing the information in logical ways. She comes across as emotional at times, but when those feelings clear, her mind starts working in a concise manner.
All of this is only my own opinion, as I am seeing and understanding things, of course.

Jerry and Renny are idiots about, Vietnam, peace movement, and woodstock!Dates I mean.
Woodstock was not 1964 or 65.It was August 1969. Many of my friends went. I hate when Jerry is so sure he is right about everything.the big peace movement did not start in 63-64. Much later after war escalated. Flower power started about 68. How can R & K sit there listening to him. I would at least feign a headache.
As for Jerry, not only have I grown to detest him, I'm with Jane and the rest who said he's a sexist letch. I am so sick of all his "baby" comments. I wish just once, that one of the women would stand up and say "STOP calling me your baby, you condescending old f#cker!" Plus, all the completely inappropriate comments, like those mentioned by others here - how Jerry said Keesha's boyfriend wanted to have sex with her for three weeks, after she read her HOH letter about how much he misses her.
Also, when Keesha said she would gladly share her HOH with Jerry, he immediately said, "Okay, we can share the HOH bed!" He's such a pig!!
My husband who doesn't follow BB other than what he overhears, or what I complain to him about, actually got creeped out when he heard something on BBAD last night. When Keesha came into the kitchen in her red shirt and Renny told her how good she looks in red, Jerry told Keesha she looked "very childlike". WTF?? My husband thought that was the creepiest comment that Jerry has made to date. Ugh, he just makes me ill, really.
As for Renny, I hope Memphis takes off Dan, then Renny goes up. I'm pretty sure that's how it will happen. Then the boys will vote off Renny. Keesha is VERY lucky that it has played out this way, Renny will be gone through no fault of Keesha's.
It will be extremely interesting to see how Renny acts when she's on the block against Keesha. Will a desperate Renny campaign to Dan and Memphis to stay? If she sells out Keesha, I really will have no respect at all left for her. This is how the game has played out, and they knew at some point that two of the four would have to go.

Look at the "Fab Four." Dan/Memphis are solid. Dan/Keesha have a great brother and sister relationship. Keesha/Memphis joke around a lot too.
Renny is only really close to Keesha. She always kept Dan at arm's length and would constantly tell Dan and especially Keesha that she doesn't trust Memphis one bit.
Well look what happened, Renny. You were so determined to not fully trust your alliance that you made yourself #4 in a group of four. Two of your team members were always more than willing to cut the cord on you because you made it impossible to trust you (as much as one can trust others in Big Brother.)
If Renny would have made the effort to get to know Dan and Memphis better then maybe she'd be safe and Keesha would be leaving.
I know it's probably harder for Renny to get to know them because of the age difference but in the end that's not a great excuse. Renny acts younger than she is and her alliance is more mature than they get credit for. They can all relate to each other.
It sucks for the four that Jerry won HoH. It sucks for Renny that Memphis won the must win veto. But Renny's interpersonal skills lacked in a major area and after all of these weeks that has caught up to her and bitter her in the rear.
I know Renny's actions are the reason why I don't have a problem with her being the first of the 4 to go.

I wasn't here yesterday because I had a really bad day at school. We went to a new computer system on campus over the break and there are lots of bugs in it.
I got to one class yesterday only to find out that a few of us couldn't be in that class because of a pre-requisite we had not taken yet, so I had to scurry and drop that one, find another class to add, head to the bookstore to return one book and pick up the other one, go to the Bursar office and make sure my tuition payments were lined out correctly.
And to top it all off, our lovely city council members and mayor decided it would be *fun* for all of us to start a decade's worth of road construction all in the same week. And with 30,000 students descending on our sleepy little town last week for the beginning of fall semester, it makes for a frolicking good time trying to drive around town.
By the time I got home I was in a foul mood and decided to curl up with a quart of Ben & Jerry's and watch Sex In The City on dvd until I passed out.

Jeremy I agree what you said about Renny mistrusting Dan and she always had a thing about Memphis, but I just think it was something about them. Personally, think she does like Dan she is just freaking out. As far as not getting to know them because of age difference, I take offense to that (smile). But really, I don't think that is it. Most of us 'older' gals can actually have very great friendships with the younger ones!!! LOL
Think Renny is just plain ole' freaking right now.

Someone said something about Keesha not sure about what Memphis was doing with veto..she knows, just keeping quiet around Renny, which is smart. That makes it not her who puts out Renny. IMHO
Memphis has two important POV's and he's worked the game behind the scenes as good as we've seen in a long time.

My brother called me a bit ago to say his church will be stocking a truck to send south. I'll be adding a few cases of water to it. They sent 4 or 5 trucks when Katrina went through. I guess they aren't waiting. Want to be prepared, just in case.

I agree with what someone said about M/D/K being more mature than they're given credit for. Especially Dan. He's in there to play a game. None of those 3 ever forget it's just a game. Doesn't mean they don't want to win, but they know how to separate the personal from the game. I know that even the other members of the Fab 4 think Dan acts immaturely sometimes, but c'mon, he's just having fun. He said it himself in his blog, taking the chance to be a kid again. Good for him.
Now, I think for him to make it to F2 he's got to win the next 2 HOH comps. Otherwise, he's in danger. Please let him win F4/F3 HOH!

Keesha and Renny are annoying me. I am sorrying but at this point in the came it is not about alliances any more, it just can't be about it. This is the time when the players need to venture out on their own and do what is best for them. You can only ride alliances so far in this game and that time had been reached. Even if one of the four won hoh there was still a fairly large chance that jerry would not have gone home. The same applies for next week. This is the point in the game where the pov is just important to all player as hoh.
As far as Renny is concerned. i have had mix feelings about her all season. I hated her at first than I loved her, but than her HOH came and ever since than I haven't been a fan. Dan may have done a lot of cut throat things, but he has never thrown a member of his alliance under the bus like Renny has done this week. Maybe it is just me, but that type of bashing can and will come back to bit her in the butt if she stays.

Trying to get my car started jacked my back up even more. And as you know, sitting in front of the computer all day and night, does wonders on the pain levels too!? But heaven forbid a hurricane comes in between me and BB. Sometimes I'm as stupid as some of the HG's!

Carolyn - I was thinking the same thing. Her innate paranoia and distrust caused to create distrust in others for her. And that's why she will be going. Not that there are many choices at this point.
Marci, just ya'll take it very carefull. Think it was Gaytor and I talking about it, anyway I have only had one experience with hurricane. We lived in N.C. when Fran hit and I cannot believe the anxiety ya'll deal with just leading up to these. I grew up with earthquakes, they hit unannounced, quick and over, yes can cause lots of damage but the anxiety alone of waiting for the storms to hit would make me nervous wreck. I am nervous for you all so very much.
Everyone has asked about AGP telling Renny about the hurricane. I don't think they will, if I remember right they never told the HG about 9/11, or am I wrong about that one? Anyone? I could have faulty memory.

People around here like to question the intelligence of people living in hurricane-prone regions. I always like to remind them that we are not exactly immune to the whims of Mother Nature being *land-locked* here in Indiana.
We get tornado's(a record number this past year), floods(the worst in the last 50 years or 100 years, depending on who you talk to), earthquakes(yes, I said earthquakes, we had a big jolt this past spring), drought(some of the farmers around here are seriously considering bringing in native americans to perform rain dances on their farms), and blizzards(which always tear down trees and power lines).
At least in *paradise* there is sun and warm weather after, not always the case here in Indiana.
There are risks involved no matter where anyone lives.

I hate to say that b/c I like her but she's the 1st one of their group to throw the others under the bus. I'm impressed with the other 3 not doing so -- they seem to be pretty good well rounded people just playing the game. :)
On another note, does anyone know of anything I can do to calm my little girl (my dog, Piper) down? It's thundering something awful here, the wind is terrible, and they're forcasting hail. She's scared to death and trembling something awful. Poor girl.

Both competitors were under the influence of alcohol, but Justin was disqualified from the show and evicted immediately. The first true strategic alliance of any Big Brother season was formed when contestants Mike and Will formed the "Chilltown" alliance, which was later expanded to include Shannon.
Volatile HouseGuest Shannon became known for her temper. Marci, kids with pets will prob head up to Ga with best friends/neighbors who have family there. If it was bad, and going to be more than a day will prob just come up here so they can work out of local office.I think that it looks like it will be west of Pensacola. Unfortunately, though for you, Gator and others. They did however find a Days in in Ga that they were able to stay at with dogs this summer.

I may have missed this in a previous post, but a mandatory evacuation order was issued for New Orleans. Will they tell Renny? She would probably want to join her family, wouldn't you think?
This is going to be interesting the next couple of weeks. I am OK with anyone of the Fab four to win the whole thing, and I believe that if Renny or even Jerry make it to the end one of them could win for sure. I just don't want Jerry to win.
As to Hurricane Gustav, if they told Renny all she would do is worry terribly. I am sure her family is doing the right thing and evacuating and will be safe.
To all of those in the path of this Hurricane - first of all, you should be not reading this, but making you and yours safe! But, my prayers and thoughts are with all of those in the path of this Hurricane. It will be sad if it damages the area AGAIN! As a great person said (????) THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN!!!

Hi everyone!
Off topic, but I hope you'll bear with me just this once. I don't have much time to post, as I'm getting ready to head over the the evacuation/triage operations center on LSU's campus to help with storm preparations. I've seen the well-wishes here, and I know that the people of a great many states are sending resources--from people to helicopters to equipment and supplies--to Louisiana even as I type this. I just want to send a warm thank you to all of you for your thoughts and prayers, and for helping out, whether it's directly or indirectly.
Things are looking worse for the New Orleans and the SE Louisiana coast as Gustav gets closer and stronger, but the emergency response is FAR more advanced this time than it was for Katrina. I look forward to being back here and worrying about who's gonna get evicted next, once this dumb hurricane leaves us alone.

Since I've learned you live on an island I've been seriously wondering what that would be like. I live in Minnesota and the only view of an ocean I've ever had was one cloudy day in Washington and one other cloudy day on Padre Island. This later continued to the wonder of what it's like to live anywhere. Of all the networks of people I "know" this is by far the most broad, this fact leads me to my question for you:
During some "Waiting On ..." post can the activity be to state where you live and your favorite things about it as well as your least favorite? This can be at any time, even tonight for those of us here but I'm just really curious to hear what people say. Thanks for everything you do!!

Some suggestions for your dog. I typed into Google - "Dog afraid of thunder" & got a few websites that have suggestions.
There were several suggestions that are for the long term but some you can try to do this evening. 1. Turn on the radio and/or TV to try to drown out the noise. 2. Let her hide in a small room or closet. 3. Never pet or baby while she is afraid. This is very tempting to do but it will make the problem worse by reinforcing fear. When the dog is loved on while it is afraid it is being told that fear of the loud noise is good or that it should be afraid. It is better to ignore the dogs fear. 4. Try playing with her & distract her.
There were several more suggestions but I thought these might be helpful now.
