Saturday Evening Feast in the Big Brother House

The Steak & Lobster Feast
The HOH doors open and its every man and woman for themselves. A mad dash down the stairs and we see a beautiful feast is set-up for them complete with wine and flowers.
They say a blessing which includes thanking Michelle for winning the feast. They dig in. Very little talking. Lots of eating.
The HGs are too busy filling their bellies to be chatting too much at the moment, although Michelle, Keesha and Renny are keeping the small talk flowing. An air of tension still pervades the house... Tension and wine... The perfect mixture for another perfect BB storm.
Renny has requested more wine and more lobster. Talk turns to how many things they have experienced together. Like an earthquake, the laughing, the fighting.
Jerry: Hopefully we can laugh about it later.
Keesha: We are roommates.
Michelle: There is something special about each of us. To have been chosen to be here.
With full bellies comes more laughter. The conversation is picking up. Renny is called to the diary room. Everyone hopes that means they will get more wine or beer. Michelle suggests later they all take a bath together.
Libra: Come on they can send someone on a beer run.
Renny returns with news of desert and possibly beer being on its way..
Keesha suggests they should each go around the table to say nice things to each other.
Jerry: I'll start. Memphis I hope we can be more tolerant with each other.
Memphis: Here ya go Jerry ya want some more food?
April thanks Renny for all her cooking. Libra tells Dan she appreciates his sincerity. Keesha tells Renny she is her best friend and would like to continue that friendship outside the house. Renny gives accolades to Jerry for being 75 years old and that he gives %110 to the challenges. She says she respects him..Jerry cries.
Jerry: I really appreciate that..
Renny continues to make others cry..She compliments the beauty of all the ladies in the house..She tells Libra she is a great Mom..Libra cries. Renny continues around the table with something nice for everyone. Very sweet.
Nice talk is ongoing..everyone is taking a turn...lots of cheers and here here's!
Ollie: Our names will always be associated with each other. You guys are my family now.
Dan's turn. Dan appears to be overwhelmed with emotion. He has to leave the room for a minute. He is very choked up. He tells each HG how he feels about them. He tells Jerry he thinks of him as a grandfather.
Jerry: I want to respond. I did treat you like a grandson. Honestly, I think your America's Player.
Jerry's quite serious. Everyone laughs..Dan smiles..

Keesha is telling everyone its a game she wont be mad at any of them outside the house. Memphis enters with beer and everyone cheers!

Libra confronts Ollie in private for the names he called her. Libra is crying telling him her feelings were really hurt. Ollie is apologizing. Ollie said Libra had hurt April and he was caught up in the moment.
9:30pm BBT
The HGs have consumed a couple bottles of wine and some beer, and after a 30 minute love fest, everyone goes off in their separate corners, and all hell breaks loose!
Ollie & Libra are in storage having it out.
Memphis and Michelle are conspiring in the HOH
Sounds like Jerry and Dan are about to fight.
April & Keesha are fighting in the the spa..
Michelle has now moved down to the bathroom with Dan...Michelle is crying.

Watching them eat, made me hungry so I had to fix myself something to eat ... no lobster here, just veggie rice and chicken.

At first I was going to make a joke about how they were playing your game-they each have to take turns saying something nice about each other.
Since Renny spoke I have nothing humorous or sarcastic to say. I am just so, SO glad that she told Libra she is an amazing mother. I think Libra really needed to hear that and maybe some other people at the table needed to hear it too.
So instead of the alchohol producing a war...the houseguests have become sentimental. Even Memphis is giving a good heartfelt speech, although he is not truely saying nice things about someone specific.
Carolyn, I think Keesha stole your idea.
Overall, nice way to ease the tension, but it does cut down on the drama for the feed watchers. We have to wait and see if they mock each other later.

This is nice to see. We love a good drama, but it's also nice to see them relating to each other as human beings. Not so common in Big Brother so late in the game IMO.
Taking this opportunity to say once again how much I like this cast. No good people or bad people.....just people.

I was so happy after Renny spoke. I love the fighting and the drama. But it is the moments of genuine friendship that make me care about the show. But why oh why did Jerry have to respond to what Dan said?
Please old man, learn when a moment only calls for silence. If you can do that, maybe by the end of the show I will think of something nice to say about you.

I guess I'll be the first to say that I'm so glad Ollie apologized to Libra I loved it...I know you guys like Keesha and she's a sweetheart but so is Ollie it took a real man to just say I'm sorry and they forgave each other that's what life is about forgiving something Michelle can't seem to do she just hates Libra and is looking for anyway to continue to hate her it's silly and childish.. Kudos to Ollie and Libra!!!!!
