I have ranted twice today and I don't have the energy to rant anymore. Although I catch little glimmers of kindness and honesty on the rare occasion as a whole this is one of the most irritating, aggravating, idiotic group of houseguests I have ever seen. (With the exception of Dan and Renny who can do no wrong at this point as far as I am concerned.)
Anyhoo-instead of the usual rant I thought I would lighten the mood with my "Ode to April"

Question since we're waiting (and I'm watching the GORGEOUS opening ceremonies), where are the BB Dish folks located? And what are the "outtages" you guys speak of? Power? Server? Just curious.
What I can't wrap my brain around is the whole name calling on Libra. She is loud, she is annoying, she may also be qustionable in character. But the names Ollie is calling her do not fit. He may have confused her with his buddy April.

Carolyn, good to know. I was just a curious bird tonight. I run a BB10 blog (the only year I've done it) on a blogger site and thank God (not to my knowledge) we've not had schedules outtages like that. Knock on wood.....YET.

Judy, I looked too. CBS.com has been very lethargic this year in putting things up (ie: Blogs, HOH Pics, pictures in general) so it's not surprising the House Calls isn't up. Jessie is just a fart in the wind anyway, everyone is reporting how unintelligible the whole thing was because he can't seem to speak up. He was the same way on The Early Show.
I just read an exit interview from jesse. I read a couple of questions and it made my head hurt, trying to figure out what he was saying... LOL... I can't wait to see how bad ED ripped him a new one on Housecalls...

On the bright side this week, at least (possibly) we can get rid of Libra, and that would not have happened this week if Keesha, Memphis or Renny would have won. So maybe, just maybe it is a blessing in disguise. Fingers crossed.

If Libra and Keesha go on the block, and Keesha[or Libra] gets pulled off with the POV, theres a good chance either April, Ollie or Jerry would go up in her place. Keesha[or Libra], Renny, Memphis, and Dan will without a doubt vote that person out, leaving whoever is left of April/Ollie/Jerry with only their ass-kissing skills to get them through.
That'd be nice.

Okay Dan lied what Catholic hasn't at one time or another. What about Ollie being this big Christian and calling Libra those names. All Dan did was lie and that was at the bidding of America. Who the hell is Jerry to judge anyone? If you ask this blogger he is such a hippocrite. When the game (and it is a game) is over house guests like Keesha, Renney, Dan & Memphis shouldn't even give the rest of the house guests the time of day! I hope it's Dan and Keesha to the end.

I don't think Big Brother has a deal to make sure we all watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics as it's being broadcast on NBC. Enough with the trivia already. We all know that Michelle (chop from RI) doesn't have the juevos to put up anyone other than Libra and Keesha. That's okay Michelle your chop *ss will be gone soon enough!

I think it has been a choice to the House guests each time as to who wears it and that's why it has been girls every time. It just happened to work out that way I guess. So best case scenario, Libra gets POV and April goes up. If that happens I think April would be gone, no question.
Worst case scenario is in the works... I know Libra isn't the greatest, but I really like her! I really think she's gotten smarter about her gameplay recently- it's just a shame she came on so strong in the beginning and screwed herself.
Further, I wish Michelle would be smart! I want to like her- we share a Providence bond, but it's just not working for me! argh!

it really just blows my mind that michelle doesn't want to get rid of april!! does she have any clue...i do believe april was the one who put jessie up on the block, caused him to leave, AND is the closest physical threat to michelle?!? while keesha also put jessie on the block, she was able to come through with her promise to keep him safe.
if michelle really thinks april and ollie (and jerry, while we're at it) will continue to allow their heads to be shoved so firmly up her hiney after this week, she is truly delusional...
my dream: keesha wins pov, saves herself. by that time, memphis has worked michelle back into reality, and she replaces keesha with april. then we can say, "sionara, april!!" like many before me have said, a girl can dream....
I am not opposed to seeing Keehsa a bit nervous, Don't get me wrong, I have grown to like her for helping Memphis.......but she does deserve it for what she did to Angie.

Well, just as I figured Michelle's got no brain & if she does it's lost somewhere between that filthy mouth & head of curls!!! I thought she might have surprised us all & figured some things out w/ A/O/J following her around all day & stuck up her know what and she made her decision only based on emotions. She told Memphis she had to have a clear head to make her decision. Now, that just makes me laugh cuz her head is clear of all rational thinking, for sure! If Keesha goes I'll just die. Libra upsets me too but I am so tired of her getting bashed for being "a bad mother" I just want it to stop for her. I personally do not think she has done one thing wrong in her decision to be on the show.
I am so loving this Opening Ceremony. It's just beautiful! The have given me chills with the wonderful presentation of their culture & their welcome to the World. I love the Olympics!
I went to cbs.com to look at the house calls with Jessie. it was there one minute but when you went to watch it it wouldn't come up. Now the icon for it isn't even there anymore. Anybody know what's going on with that???

In the interest of drama, what I'd really like to see is Libra to win the POV, then make the remainder of the week a living HELL for April. People should take into account that last year ED threw water on people, cussed people up and don the block, scared and intimidated... and then WON.
Libra almost has nothing to lose, and if anyone in this house can intimidate it's her. I'd love to see her get right in April's face and freak the girl out so bad. Now that would be worth watching!

why do people assume she would put up April if Keesha or Libra get taken off? I would think she would be told to put up Dan.
I don't like Michelle's decision, but she is making a very logical argument for why she did it.
I sure hope she is telling the absolute truth and really does have her eyes open.
Can't believe I'm saying this, but kinda like her after her talks with Dan and Renny.
When Keesha was HOH and Jessie first talked to her about what really happened with the Steven situation, she considered going back on her word and putting Libra up for eviction.
Before she even got the sentence out of her mouth, April said, "No, no, no. Absolutely not." She then went on to encourage Keesha to nominate Jessie. Both as a "punishment" because he was causing problems with her alliance, and as a "Ha Ha-You didn't see that coming did you."
I'm not sure, but it seems as though Renny may have been present for at least part of this conversation. They really need to make Michelle understand this before POV. That way if Keesha, Renny or Michelle win it Michelle may have second thoughts about who the real puppet master is.
I know it's a foregone conclusion that Michelle wants Libra evicted. I can deal with that. But I would really like her to start thinking about all the things that April has done and said and maybe find a way to unattach April's lips from her butt. Maybe next week Keesha, Renny and Michelle could start working together or at least agree not to go after each other until April, Ollie and Jerry are gone.
At first I thought that the new WWIII format was why April and Jerry have become unbearable. Then I watched the CBS Morning clip of Jesie and realized he served as a cloaking device.
I can see why April doesn't really like Jerry; they may actually share the same brain. Take off the Korea hat (please!) and put on a straw and peroxide wig and you wouldn't know the difference. They are both mental.
It's going to be a rough week listening to April cavort arount with Michelle. ACK.

What's going to be the worst is watching A/O smug it up all week, with Jerry following them around, smearing Dan, muttering about Memphis, trying to get a word in edgewise or make himself be heard and then only getting half the story straight.
I'm kind of disgusted that A/O and especially Jerry (who carried his food to the hoh, for g-dsake) complaining about others talking to Michelle. Egads, too much. This cast certainly makes it easy for the bb production (and fans) to get out of the house and not worry about gameplay from Sunday through Thursday. You just have to keep looping their conversations!

Michelle seems to not really want to listen to anyone bash A/O or J right now. Maybe she listens to Memphis a bit, but she's not really hearing anyone. I think she's hedging her bets for next week or else just reverting back to Michelle of week 1 who won't shut up when she knows the cameras are on her.
Is it just me or does this cast play more for the cameras more than the last few seasons? Certainly, I love the drama. But they're all clearly studies of Reality Acting 101.
No surprise with the noms. My first inclination, let Libra win the POV. She made Michelle wear the unitard, in Michelle's mind she masterminded Jesse's eviction, she's the puppet master, she's the daily reminder that Michelle made a huge mistake not using the veto week 2. Libra is where Michelle's true venom is directed, and with her out of the picture a cooler head may prevail. There are great arguments strategic and personal to backdoor April. (1)April and Ollie together are very strong and will go to the end with each other. (2) They will keep Jerry close as long as possible for his vote and his ineptitude physically, mentally, and strategically make him easy to pick off in near the end. (3) There will be more endurance HOH's, including part of the F3 HOH, and she will be tough to beat. (4) It will ruffle less feathers in the house than if Keesha goes. Next hit her with the Jesse issue. (5)She promised not to put Jesse on the block. (6) She knew prior to the POV ceremony several people were thinking of keeping Memphis, but she did not get Jerry to use the veto. Finish it off with (7) If there was one thing you could do over, you would have shown Libra the backdoor and got her out when you had chance, don't make the same mistake twice. These issues paired with the inevitable bickering between Libra and Keesha exposing just how shaky that alliance is, it would just make too much sense to put April up. That said, I think if Libra wins the POV the more likely outcome would be Dan as the renom. In that case he could very well be evicted, and I would much rather see Libra leave. At this point I'm not sure what to hope for, because relying on these HG's to use rational reasoning could be very dangerous.

Although I agree with you guys about April to some degree. I do not think it would be wise of Michelle to put her up. It's blatantly obvious that Renny/Keesha/Libra/and Dan are in an alliance. If Michelle were to join up with them...it would be worse for her. She would be the 1st one out. At least with April/Ollie/Jerry... There are less people to deal with. You know?

and the opening ceremonies were fantastic. so beautiful. my 10 month old was fascinated with all the colors and movement. i think it was one of the best in the recent years!!

Did you not watch the last one. CF has already got emails re. Ollie and April and their sexcapades. It was discussed with Julie and they don't want to ask about it since that will make the 'free show' stop.

Jerry is lying again. He is sitting with A&O doing the usual Libra and Keesha bashing. He said, "Did you notice that I didn't talk to any of them today. Not a word."

He talked to Keesha earlier today and was actually quite nice to her.
And by the way, Jessie wanted Libra and Dan out. April just said he wanted Libra and Keesha out. And I just heard April call Libra, Renny and Keesha the 3 headed snake. Now we know where it came from.
I'm listening to the 3 of them while I type. I know there are certain things I can't say. But these are 3 of the most vile human beings I have ever seen. They take the personal attacks to a level I didn't even see them sink to in BB9 (well maybe Joshua). It's a game. The whole goal is to outmaneuver your opponent. Every person in the house is an opponent. BB is not a team sport. So this week they lost a point and immediately turned into dispicable excuses for human beings. They make me feel sick.
Michelle sounds very level headed with her explanations, and it's quite nice without all the f bombs.

I will give you my opinion of what is wrong with the sexcapades on BB. I also agree that what two consenting adults do together should be between them and no one should have the right to make a judgement on what someone else decides to do.
However, when they do it on television, they are no longer keeping it between themselves. They are making it public. Granted, you can't really see anything. But still, at that moment, you know exactly what they are doing.
I think it is a careless, selfish decision because these "consenting adults" have family members that are either watching it happen or listening to other people talk about it.
I am a grown up and I am married and still, if I were doing that with my husband of 17 years in front of an audience of millions my father would have been devastated. And had he been at work or walking down the street and heard people joking about it, it would have broke his heart.

I don't think the desire to have Craig Ferguson ask April and Ollie about their sexcapades has anything to do with the fact they are having sex. They are consenting adults, and to each there own. I think the motive is to embarrass A/O or knock them of their current high horse.

In regards to the same topic, I'm all for maximum embarrassment for in house antics. When it comes down to it though I would like to see there reaction to being informed they are providing adult entertainment on the internet. Last season Natalie's antics were well documented and her denials just dug her a bigger hole, but I did not witness her reaction to being told there was readily available video evidence. It's kind of like the old philosophical question if Natalie is mortified by her oral sexcapades on youtube and nobody is around to see it does it actually cause her embarrassment? It probably does, but I have no proof.
Maybe a few interesting e-mail request would get CF to revisit the issue.

My 2 cents on the sexcapades... this is BIG BROTHER. That term is indicative of "always watching."
These people who get on BB fully know there are cameras watching their EVERY move upon signing those contracts.
Ollie and April made a decision to ignore that and they will face the consequences of their own actions.
BB? Not supposed to get involved in interpersonal relationships. They never have and they shouldn't start now.
I do, however feel for the families of this selfish "couple." But, I feel for the families for other past BB stuffs too.

Big Brother is always watching... not interfering. All these people knew what they were getting into.
I'd rather wear the uni all summer in there than pull the shenanigans April and Ollie are and I've never been under cameras 24/7. They really should know better... they've been fully warned prior to entering the house.

Re:China... This is a time that every 4 years (well now 2) that we should all let politics go. No matter how we feel about a country, and trust me I do have strong feelings on human rights of every kind, this is the time to celebrate the athletes and the dedication and love they put into their sport. They work hard their entire life to get on their country's team and that is what should be celebrated. Nothing else. I'm really looking forward to watching every event I can, and not care what country is hosting the whole thing.
