Keesha: If he was our age, he wouldn't get away with the things he says to people...
Dan: I was raised like you, to not talk bad to my elders, but at the same time, none of my elders have ever behaved like that...
Keesha: He can be really mean, and he's got funny views on women that really bother me. I try not to let it, but sometimes I have to just get up and walk away.
Last night, Jerry made a comment about 2 guys at the end.. With Renny and Keesha sitting there..

Talk returns to Jerry. Keesha surmises that he just doesn't care when he offends people. Dan says that's a distinct possibility.
Keesha: Renny said she doesn't really care which one of us leaves.
Dan: The big thing is, he doesn' get to play in the next HoH, or does he?
Keesha: No. Memphis asked.
Dan keeps on insisting he thinks Jerry can play.

At the moment, the surrounding area is being buzzed by a police helicopter. Keesha's telling them how that happened shortly after she moved to L.A., and how it freaked her out...

Renny: I don't think Big Brother cared if I got up today. How're you doin'?
Keesha: I'm ok.
Renny: Man... Colonel's been up awhile?
Keesha: No, he just came outside. He mighta just been hangin' out upstairs.
Renny's still angry with him about last night. She says she plans to tell him off, but not til after the Veto Ceremony tomorrow.

Dan's a bit miffed with Renny for asking if he was going to turn on her now. Keesha agrees it was very awkward... She's a bit offended as well, after everything they've been through, that Renny still doubts her.
What Keesha & Dan don't know is the root of Renny's doubt: She's been up there throwing her and Dan under the bus, so she suspects them of doing the same. The thing is, she's the only one who's done it from the group.
Talk turns to Jerry's machinations... They share with Each other how Jerry's been saying to each individually "Your alliance is over..." They agree it's not: they still have one more person to get rid of first - Jerry.
Talk goes back to Renny and how badly she's making them feel...

Renny says it feels like they've been in the house for a lifetime. Keesha agrees, and they both think it's going to be very tough readjusting to life outside.
Renny says she thinks she doesn't want a phone call once she gets to the Jury House, because if she hears her husbands voice, she'll just start bawling and she wont want to be there.
Keesha agrees on that too.

Wasn't last night in the house nice? I enjoyed listening to the Fab4 go thru the questions and having some discussion on their beliefs and experiences. I have really enjoyed this year's cast and I think it's because I feel like there are few people in there that I can relate to on some level. I found myself sitting here agreeing and disagreeing with them and wanting to be there so I could join in the conversation. It's refreshing when they're just themselves and letting their guard down about who they are and what they believe.
Now, can someone tell me how you guys make those cute little hearts everywhere?? Please? :)

Good Morning, Carolyn and fellow dishers! It goes without saying that I continue to worry about and pray for all affected by Gustav. I am terribly upset that this is happening, if only we could wish and pray it all away.
I'm glad to see that Gaytor finally hit the road. Marci, I'm concerned for you and hope you will be okay down there. Beorn, it's so nice that you are helping out, but I hope that you stay out of harm's way. Everyone affected, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. And as Melanie reminded us last night, of course that includes our gratitude, respect and concern for those in the Navy like her husband, and all in the Coast Guard, National Guard, etc. helping out.
I fell asleep at the beginning of BBAD last night. Boy, it gets boring at this time. I woke up towards the end, came here and missed the party on the last post. When I left yesterday (after Carolyn took a short break), I think it was at 118 comments. I came back at 2 am (midnight BBT) to find 389 comments! silly me, I should have been here while keeping an eye on BBAD and/or the feeds.
Jane - I totally agree with you about Survivor. I've watched almost every season (skipped one somewhere in the first few years). But, the last two or three seasons, my husband and I have been getting bored with it. The challenges are the same old thing all over again, it seems. But, watching it with all of you might just bring back some excitement!
The Amazing Race, on the other hand, is my favorite reality show, after BB. I love to see all the places they go, and although they are there so briefly, TAR does try to work in some local and historical info for the viewers. Out of all the reality shows, this is the only one that I would actually like to do. I think because how far you get and whether you stay or not is almost completely dependent on what choices you make (which challenges to do of the two offered), and how well you perform both physically and mentally. There's none of that being evicted or voted off because you're deemed too much of a threat, or just too annoying, lol. Though, it is frustrating that there's some luck involved, as in which flights you decide to take, whether there are delays or not, how good or bad your taxi driver happens to be, etc. Oh, it will be such fun to watch it with all of you and hear your take on it!
Carolyn, you have really created a very unique online community here. It all starts from the top, and the way that you have always respected everyone here and the HG's, and ask that we do the same. It's so unlike so many sites where the posters continually attack anyone with an opinion differing than their own, or spout horrible garbage about the players on the show (much like Jerry does). It all begins with you - you have set the tone here and attracted the kind of people that appreciate that, and appreciate you for all you do. You're a very special human being, and we are all fortunate to be here. Your friends and family are truly blessed to have you in their lives, Carolyn! ♥

I don't post here much, mostly because I can't get my blogger acct to work, but anyway..... I love the fact that while most of you have probably never met in person you are great friends and genuinely care about eachother. I have found myself the last few days thinking I hope that those of you in the path of Gustov are ok and I am so glad that you have the warning and can get to saftey. Living in Indiana we get tornados but never really enough time to seek shelter. In 2005 here in my town we had a tornado in the middle of the night that before it was through took 25 lives. Now anytime it looks like rain I get uneasy. Anyway I am rambling and wish you all saftey and thank you for making my days a little brighter with your thoughts and humor.

Rhonda, hi sweetie. Where in NJ does hubby go on business? Son to school? Have lived here in 5 different counties over my 54 yrs excluding the few spent in Fla.(which I loved and miss) Love the "Garden State" especially its proximity to NYC, Phila, Baltimore and DC. always a chance to follow educational, cultural or historical interests. I love American history and it's great for me especially since much of Family is in Cape Cod making Boston a hop skip and a jump also.
Hope we will hear from Gaytor as soon as he arrives at his destination. Will be worrying till I do, and about everyone else.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU, for all that you do... I am so thankful to have found you here. I didn't realize you all were here for TAR and Survivor too. I love watching them as well... Do they have live feeds of some sort of these shows or other things than what is shown on TV. I love coming here and reading what everyone has to say. I am so glad that Noni was okay, I know how scarey it is to fall into a pool with the cover on... you think your life is about to be over...I am soooo happy that Gaytor and the others have fled from Gustov. It sure isn't looking good down their on the gulf coast. I live in central Indiana, about 40 miles east of Indianapolis. My 25 yr old daughter, Jessica, lives with me. My husband passed away last year after a 4 years of battling liver cancer. (I miss him sooo) I have a very large home and would welcome anyone to come stay here if they do not have a place to go... I love to cook and would fix them some good southern fried chicken, and all the fixings... In my town, we have the Basketball Hall of Fame, and the worlds largest fieldhouse. If anyone follows basketball, Steve Alford was raised here. He was the coach for the Iowa Hawkeyes. I feel for Renny. I know if I was there at BB, I would want to know what was going on, IF there was a chance my home would be lost, and I would definately want to know about my family...BUT, knowing my family, they would feel the same as hers.
My home is open with welcome arms to anyone who needs a place to stay. So come on to Indiana My Friends...

Anyways, on to the game play. Renny has started to bother me ever since she got HOH that one week. I really feel like she has thrown everyone under the bus, including Keesha. Out of all people, Keesha should be the one that she does not lie to, and wants to protect....guess that shows how trust worthy she is. I'm happy renny is going. I have always wanted Keesha, Dan and Memphis to be final 3. I prefer dan and Keesha be final 2, but I will be happy if any of the 3 are. Should be interesting next week!

It does seem that the houseguests were not given as much as previous seasons. I remember one season that they were given a great meal after every HOH. One week was chinese, one week was italian... BB did give a few higher price prices this season. Have they ever given a car away? They usually have a luxury comp that they get to have a shopping spree in the house.. I wonder if that was replaced with the new wardrobe for April that she doesn't even care about! Any thoughts???

Isn't this about when Adam got habndcuffed to Sheila, or was it at F4. Imagine if Memphis and Jeery were hand cuffed together or Jeery and Renny. Funniest would be Renny and Dan. That would be priceless. I would be on Feeds every minute of the 24hrs. Carolyn drop a hint, please!!!!! Before she leaves. Of course that might not be good because all of us would be here going nuts for the 24. But certainly would prob provide the best BB material in all 10 seasons.

When the BB season ends I sincerely miss Dish. I find myself visiting the site at least once a day for the first two weeks. Eventually it dwindles to once a week.
I wish you were all here too. I love reading the comments. I, obviously, think this is the coolest site on the web. I wouldn't be here everyday if I didn't. Yes, I am here EVERYDAY, even if I am not commenting. I am as addicted to the comment section as I am to the blog itself.
Anyways, back to my jeaoulsy. I give up so much to be here for BB that my grades feel it, my home feels it, and the organization in my life feels it to. I try not to let it affect my son, but I am sure on some level it does. I just so busy with work, school, and motherhood that I can't imagine dong this for other shows too. So I am envious of all of you with the time to do so.
*LOL* I will see you here when ever the opportunity presents itself. At least there will be something new for me to read when I am looking for my virtual friends!

I moved to Oklahoma from Illinois in 87. All I wanted was a basement but there really aren't any here because of the clay (red) soil. Got a "faidy hole" storm shelter after the big F5 that killed 45 in 99. Since then we've moved and I now have a 12 person size shelter in the new house. We spend a lot of money on insurance and and all but there is nothing like the feeling that I have a REAL place to go that is safe. We have gone to our shelters a number of times over the years but only locked down the door just this past spring. Luckily the tornado raised up before it got to over us and passed overhead. I purchased a weather radio a radio shack and have it programed to only go off for tornados. I don't need to raise up out of my bed in a blind panic at night for every thunderstorm that passes through. It was $75. That might be something you could get that would help put your mind to rest.
I play girl scout at home and get everything important in the shelter. Make-up drugs and extra checks. My husband usually has the knack for being on call for every big thing that happens out here like F5's or Murrah building bombings. Sorry for taking up so much space. Thinking of every one down south. CERT info is getting information saying to expect displaced people in the state soon and they are gearing up.
MG - I can't wait til Jerry finds out about HOH next week too.
I also can't wait til Memphis takes Dan off and we see what Jerry will say, thinking he can play in next HOH!
I just hope he doesn't get livid and vote out Keesha instead! Can't believe I typed that?!?

Jerry would have someone to talk to and Renny would stop pleading to stay in the house just to get away from Jerry.
The rest would have a field day and it would take the pressure off of dear old Dan for a while.
Carolyn, I am going to paste and email a list of symbols from character map want to see if it will go in an email since won't work in comments box. If so could use it in one of my projects . Good day Carolyn & BB addicts! It;s a beautiful Sunday afternoon in upstate NY. My toughts and prayers are with all of you affected by Gustav. Please stay safe. I have been "out of the loop" all weekend, as I had all kinds of family functions to attend. Some fun, others....not so much. Anywho....I'm soooooooo annoyed that old man Jeery is HOH, he had to screw up the master plan. But it's Ok, as much as I love Renny, something in her changed when she was HOH, and I'm Ok with her leaving (as if I have a say....haha). I would love to see dan take it all, b/c I love him to death, and I truly think he has played the best game. With that being said, I really love Memphis and wouldn't mind if he won either. As you can see these 2 are my choices for F2. I like Keesha and she played a really good game as well. I wish they had 3 prizes b/c I think those 3 deserve to something. I say all of this assuming that Renny leaves this week and Jeery next week. If it happens that way this will be the first year (with the exception of BB8 that I haved loved all the people in the F3.....well let me take that back I didn't love Zack, but I knew the Donatos would take him out. Well those are my thoughts for the day so far....I shall return later. I have yet another dreadful family function to attend....will they ever end? xoxoxo

Ok Im sorry but Im a major History Buff...and Renny is so wrong on most of her facts about Honest Abe.
He was BORN in Kentucky. He moved to Springfield where he met Mary Todd...He didn't try 14 times to get to the Presidency.
Unless there are 13 times no one knows about. He did teach himself to read and write its disputed weather or not it was by candlelight.

I could be wrong, but it looks like New Orleans is the only one that has a mandatory evacuation.
baknaz - The best place to start is with a local TV station for info. Also 'Google Gustav Evacuations'. The mayors' speech is on there.
CNN and the Weather Channel frequently list the Parishes also.

Well I will certainly try to see you once a week for TAR, but I seem to loose interest when I get extremely busy. I need to double up on classes over the next few months. That will make it a little more difficult.
On another note..I would actually love for none of the HGs to not mention that Jerry is not eligible to play in the next HOH and have him be totally caught off guard at the next HOH comp.

I was about to comment on the last post and saw this opened up.
It really is interesting what TV only people think about the show. I have BBAD and keep with with everything on this bored. (Thanks Carolyn) My mom is a TV only. When we get into discussions, she tells me her favorites are Jerry and Renny and She really dislikes Keesha, Dan & Memphis. She also told me how she felt sorry for Michelle and Ollie with that 3 part deal that Dan backed out on. I try to explain what is really going on, but she thinks she knows from watching.
BB does a great job and telling the story they want. And since America does not actually pick who is nominated and who goes home, they can get away with it. I would be upset as a house guest if they edited the show the way they do and America got to pick everything.
As for current BB stuff. I'm really glad Memphis got the POV and I hope that he uses it to save Dan. (Therefor both safe) I really like her, but its time to break up the foursome and Renny should be the first to leave. And sine Jerry can't play next week, he to will be going home.
They live right outside of Lake Charles maybe Moss Bluff.....

Renny has had very strong gut feelings through out this game. It was always at these times that we would see her become a bit unhinged especially when Dan started to stage his plan to put Michelle up. She kept asking why he felt that he had to make a big drama out of it.
She feels that she is going. I feel bad for her.
It looks like a scramble right now in each state. We had areas in OK where evacuees were staying in Tulsa areas and OKC area after Katrina, but I can't remember where. I can see that Kentucky, Central Texas and Oklahoma is gearing up, but all I know as fact is that we are receiving 150 hospital patients tonight and that is the first that are officially hitting the state as opposed to the people that are just driving up to get to relative and friends.

I really enjoyed the conversation the fab 4 had last night. Not that it is my beliefs or opinions but it was still insight of how the HG's think and feel! I do have to say that Dan surprised me the most!
I personally am worried about global warming and what we are doing to our World but it isn't about me!
I think it is very interesting to find out how people do come to the conclusions they arrive to.

I have been watching CNN and they have been very informative about all of the evacuations and what all is going on... Sounds like they are trying to do everything they can there for all of those people. So glad they are DOING SOMETHING this time...I am so sad that this is happening again to this area...(I hate it happening period...)
I think the FAB4 should wait and not tell Jerry he can't play the next HOH comp... There are times when I think, well, maybe Jerry isn't all that bad and just trying to "fit" in with the younger crowd, but after Keesha went in to talk to him the other night before eviction and then when he went out to talk to Ollie and said all of those nasty things about Keesha,, I would have just as well seen him leave as Ollie...(although, it was great to see him leave too.) I am disappointed that CBS didn't penalize Ollie for his behavior...I just wonder how long it will take April to tell him to get lost...I hate to see Renny go, i do love her, but I hate it that she through everyone under the bus to Jerry... Any of those 3 left(K/M/D) I will be happy to see win...They all deserve it...

Anon @ 11:41, We bought a weather radio 2 days after the tornado and I signed up for weather alerts on my cell phone. I think I am just am just to much of a worrier. My husband tells me that all the time. I am one of those "anything that can go wrong will" kinda people.
But I also think it stems from going and helping with the clean up because when you actually see what one can do and you stand in the middle of it..... boy it is just very surreal.
We also have a storm shelter in our subdivision and my husband always seems to be at work when the weather is rough here too. Although this year we had flooding early and now we just hope it will rain enough to keep the crops alive.
Thoughts to those in the path. Southern Indiana is hot right now but dry and we would welcome you. Stay safe!

BB has been my major reality vice for all 10 seasons. It is the one show I've allowed myself to watch for all these years. As I posted previously, I don't allow myself to get the feeds because I would never get any work done!!
Now I have a new dilemma--do I start watching TAR and Survivor just so I can hang out with ya'll?!! (OK I admit to watching them but not DVR and "can't miss" watching)
I actually feel like I know so many of you from this blog. I worry about you, I laugh with you, I cry for you...I actually felt relief when Gaytor showed us his butt walking away (When he gets to safety, he can show us his boobies coming towards us--boobies ala TheZanyOne.)
Thank you, again, for creating the friendly environment. Your blog would be a great study for a sociologist or a communication specialist because of its uniqueness! (Sorry, too much university researcher there??)

I dont have the sympathy now that I had for Renny a couple weeks back. Since the HOH she has been a different person in my eyes.
And then with her throwing everyone under the bus with Jerry. And the final blow. She commented herself when drinking the wine in her playful mood knowing that POV was upcoming within the hour, "I suppose that glass of wine just cost me $500K.
Totally bad gameplay on her part.
I would be curious if her family would change their decision if they know she has been evicted from the house.
As far as Gustav, I am totally impressed with the preparation indicated by the Gov of Louisiana. Very impressive press conferences he has held telling of action plans.
I recall the Gov prior to Katrina holding press conference and basically the plan at that time was, well we called Washington and are waiting for their help. I couldnt believe the difference with our Florida gov's conferences when we were always, and continue to be, prepared and what I saw her saying.
Regardless, our prayers and thoughts are with all of those in harm's way. Be safe, act wisely, and stay away even though the temptation may be to get right back there. It seems they have security under control.
Does BB plan to tell Renny about Hurricane Gustav? I'm in Baton Rouge and almost all of the lower parishes have been evacuated.
Dan is so cool with his gameplay.
He just asks Memphis about recalling the HOH competition in BB8, and Memphis dont recall.
Then Memphis discussed Jerry's incorrect assumption about HOH comp. And Dan pretends to not know the procedure for who can compete in HOH's, 5, 4, 3. And Memphis dont catch on.

Noni, my son went to Haverford College. I also have lived all over..started in Bay Area, CA then to Dallas,TX then Denver, CO then Chicago, IL then Raleigh, NC then back to Bay Area for a few years and now we are in Reno, NV. Loved the midwest and I love Reno. The people are wonderful and love the different seasons.
Okay, BB last night I was so enthralled with the HG and their questions with each other. After Jerry finally butted out, it was so enjoyable to listen to the four of them discuss the topics without arguing. They were levelheaded and actually listened to each other, I loved it!

First off- I just want to say hello to everyone. I happened to find this blog last year and I just want to say what a great job Carolyn and the rest do to keep us informed. I (heart) the Dish!
Emergency Response is now asking for help with getting names of ecacuees as they come into state at the Lucent Tech warehouse. We are expecting several bus loads... If you family doesn't have a cell phone or it wasn't charged it could take hours to hear from them. Getting the names could take 6 -8 hours estimated at this time. Thoughts are with everone.
On a side note I took a Mental break from BB last night and watch Sooner football for a while and then played Giutar Hero for an hour or two. I'm 52 and been playing for a month or two...just a medium player. My hubby thinks I'm nuts...about GH and BB. Ha.

if you go to your playback settings..you can rewind the feeds for up to 12 hrs
