We work a little differently here. Every season, we greet all the new house guests with open arms and best wishes... and no matter what happens during the season, no matter how dastardly and awful they are when they're in the house (**insane asylum), tonight every single one of them walks out with a clean slate.
They are no longer HGs, critters, hamsters, guinea pigs, or whatever else we've come to think of them as... They are humans, and they deserve the same respect as everyone else walking the planet. All of 'em.
Being mature adults, we understand 100% that remarkable people behave very differently and outside their own character when placed in extremely stressful situations. For most of us, we have the privilege to do our freaking out, misbehaving and downright libelous and repulsive ranting in private, or within a very limited circle. Not so for the HGs.
Tonight, we just let it go... And we welcome all of them back into our hearts... back into the human race.. and out of the fishbowl we've enjoyed watching explode all summer long.
I know it's tough, but it's good for ya.

omg!! You have no idea how happy I was to read that you will have the show live here tonight. We have been without power for days now in ohio because of Ike. CBS is still without power as of now. I was freaking out that I would be missing it!! Thank you Carolyn for being the best!!!!!

I remember listening to a motivational speaker talk once about stress. He said people are like oranges, and when they get stressed or squeezed sometimes you get orange juice (like Keesha, Dan, Memphis), but sometimes you can get something equally surprising (like battery acid) ! I think that's what's so fascinating about BB. You just never know what you're going to get!

What a great season this has been and I hope that something can be done for your poor back.
I'm feeling kind of down today ... I've probably been spending more of my hours I'm awake here lurking than with my boyfriend, cat and yes even my job.
This was a great cast this season, not only with the HG's, but here at the "Dish". I'm hoping that the next season isn't a let down after seeing them this year. They have set the bar pretty high for the next group.

I'm playing hooky today. Lectures only, no quizzes or tests, and homework electronically submitted. I never miss class, but just didn't want to get out of bed this morning.
Bailey, no it isn't bad. I feel the same way. I imagine a lot of people do. Dan or Memphis, I don't really care who wins. I am hoping it's Dan, but will be fine with Memphis. Either way Dan still walks away with 50k + 25k for AP, and I see a VERY bright future in store for him.
It's AF I am more interested in this season, as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's Keesha.

Carolyn, thanks for the psychobabble! I know that if it weren’t for the April, Libra, Jesse, Brian, Michelle, and even Jerry Big Brother would not be the show we love soooooo much!
I have an enormous appreciation for the courage it takes to walk into the BB house and put one’s self out there for the world to see with 50 magnifying glasses. Every character we do not like combined with the ones we love make the season give us a reason to watch. Can you imagine if we loved them all…who would we root for all season.
Carolyn, Carla, Reporter X, Dawn , Kim, Chelsia, and TRD (hope I didn’t leave anyone out) THANK YOU for doing what you do and being so amazing at it!

The day we've all been waiting for, huh? What an enjoyable season! May I say, Carolyn how much I appreciate your policy on the exiting houseguests. It has always been a firm belief of mine to give the benefit of the doubt in most circumstances - reality tv craziness included. That being said, I can't help but have some piqued curiosities about our dear April!
I'm not going to be able to see the show as it airs tonight or probably even get online until the morning so please let me say now....

I would so love to see you doing the interviews at the wrap party instead of ED. I'm a big fan of his, but he tends to think it is all about him when he does interviews. We would get so much more info if you were there!

OK 48 minutes of "Into the House" means this isn't just a Wakey Wakey I have to guess. :( I really wanted one more afternoon with my boyz before I give them back to their families.
At least I got to perv on them through the showers last night, and all the way to total lights out.
Poor Memphis. He tried to get Dan one more time by putting about a case of tampons under his sheets but Dan never went to that bed. They slept apart last night. Memphis finally showed him what was there. Then after a bit of reading, Memphis started snoring and snoring loudly. And tossing and turning. At least I think it was him. I didn't get up to look.
Yes I can say I slept with Dan and Memphis last night... sorry Monica and Ashley. :p~ Well maybe not sorry, but you two are the lucky ones who will get the 70 days of pent up..... energy... yea ... energy is a good word for it.

Gaytor read about ur katrina (dome)experience. In 03 in kissimmee ( no blogs at that time) and I 2 wrote about a fl school that my daughter was in that had mold. I had to get it out, out of my mind an on 2 paper something. She was so very sick along with other third graders. Other people read what i wrote. I 2 can not read it myself . It made me a fighter till this day for not only my daughter , but every child .Thank god she is once again healthy an 13! Just saying it is the best to get it out than to go crazy thinking , dreaming or obsessing over it.

Thank you for a great season I have really enjoyed my first year of seeing behind the scenes of BB. You have made this a whole new show for me. I will def be back next year. I wish I had the time right now to properly thank everyone here for a wonderful season from you, Carolyn, to all the dish chicks and all of the terrific, funny people who comment here. As it is, I still haven't even caught up on all the posts and comments here from the last couple of days and I plan to do so in the coming week just to help alleviate the BB withdrawals, lol.
Now, get this - Boo Ho for me! I have to attend a freaking meeting at 7 pm (EST) tonight and will not be home until nearly 9 pm. Actually, I HOPE that I can get home by 9 pm. Damn it!! I think this happened last September with BB8 also. Of course, I DVR the show, but it's not the same as being able to watch it here live with everyone. Plus, I hate that I have to miss the pre-show celebrations here! I am totally not going to be paying attention to anything in the meeting tonight except for my watch as I anxiously wait to get the hell out of there! I wish BB would do the finale shows on Sundays like Survivor and The Amazing Race.
Well, I'll try to be here by 9 pm. Till then, let me just say for the last time that my best outcome for this evening is Dan wins the $500,000, Memphis gets the $50,000 plus the car, and Keesha gets $25,000 for America's favorite HG.
Oh, btw, I am so looking forward to all the post BB coverage too - the wrap party coverage, and the interviews!

Carolyn I totally agree with what you said in the post but I somehow feel that April was as true to her character inside the house as possible. When I read Chelsia blog about the debriefing I couldn't help but to imagine the look that will come over Aprils face when she realizes the embarassment she caused herself and her family. Especially since all she talks about is her "dignity" and how intact it still is. Can you tell I'm not her biggest fan.

I went online hunting for something more that would fit my addiction to Big Brother and came across this site. I watch Big Brother faithfully, Big Brother After Dark nightly, and check out the feeds in between the two others. I would go to the CBS website to see the blogs but it was never quite what I was looking for but this site is it! WHY I had to find it this late in the game I DO NOT KNOW! But I will always keep this bookmarked for future seasons.
Might I add watching Memphis and Dan talk is so much nicer than Adam and Ryan they were so vulger and disrespectful its nice to see two guys that are still guys but have some class. The way they speak of there girlfriends and the way they talk about evicted contestants without making them look like complete douche bags (unlike Adam and Ryan) is quite refreshing.
I hope for Dan to win he played a flawless game. I do like Memphis so I'm glad he will atleast get $50,000 if Dan wins. I loved Keesha and Renny though- I hope one of them win Fan Favorite.

It's hard to believe this is the last day of BB10. Wow, have we enjoyed this group of HG or what? I know there are some we loved & some we didn't love but without the mixed up, crazy personalities it wouldn't have given us all as many wonderful, mixed up, crazy moments.
Remember the times we got up or stayed up to find out the results of a comp in the middle of the night?
Remember how much we wanted to say good-bye to HG we didn't like that week & held our collective breaths waiting for Julie to say...By a vote of...you have been evicted from the BB House?
Remember laughing out loud by yourself at the antics of the FAB4 or the puppet show or Renny's imitations & so many more, only to have your dog, cat, husband/wife/partner, or family member, who had no idea what you are doing on the computer, look at you like you lost your mind?
We have a lot of great memories & moments shared that we will put away in our little community's memory bank!
And, without Carolyn, our main hostess, ReporterX & the awesome Dishchicks, along with TRD, Chelsia's blogs, Carolyn's interviews, & contributions from Leesa at her site absolutely none of this would have been possible. To be able to allow so many wonderful people to come here where we are respected & cared about just made it amazing.
I look forward to doing it again for BB11. Last night on BBAD the runner stated, "See you next Summer." So, for the sake of the Dishchicks to get a much needed break, especially Carolyn, we will be here together again! I hope a lot of you will come for Survivor or TAR, but if we don't see you until next summer, pop in every once in a while to say Hi!

Carolyn: Oh how I wish I could skip it. I said it was a meeting, but it's really Back to School Night and that would make me a bad mommy, right? Hmmm, don't think I haven't considered just sending the husband while I was home "sick". I already met his teacher anyway. But, no I must go and sit through a boring PTA meeting, some talk by the principal and PTA members, then a trip to check out kiddo's classroom, meet the teacher, hear about what's in store for the year, etc. Heh, my favorite part of the entire night is always when my husband and I take every book out of kiddo's desk (at the teacher's suggestion) to go through them and see what they'll be learning, but we put them all back out of order. My neat freak, super organized child (who takes after us) then goes in the next day and is horrified that we rifled through his desk and put everything back "wrong". Ha, I wouldn't be a good parent if I didn't drive my kid crazy, would I?
I will be rushing back here by 9 pm and immediately jumping into the festivities!
I LOVE all the comments hoping that when Keesha wins fave HG, BB pans to April's face for the reaction. I so hope they do it! Having been in sequester, I think April will be completely surprised to see that Keesha has so many fans.

I'm so glad you put info about the 1738 bill up here. I saw it on Oprah yesterday and wanted to mention it but wasn't sure if this was the place. I got a response from both my senators already but Norm Coleman's said that is was voted out 52-40 last July. I hope we're not too late.
I already wish we could go into BB11 two weeks from now, and even that might be too long but I know you need a break and my husband wants me back. It was fun chatting, if even just a little bit. Everyone take care during our off-season and get lots of rest.

Just a few more hours till the end :( Sad but I know the families of all the HG are so excited to see them. I'd love to see Libra as she saw her kids for the 1st time & Keesha & JJ & the boys & their GF's. I hope Memphis keeps his promise of asking Ashley to marry him. Hmmmm, ya know this is the 1st time in 10 shows that I'm gonna wonder about the HG's after they leave.
Gaytor.......if ya find Renny are ya gonna be her stalker?? LOL! I bet she would LLLOOOOOVVVVVEEEE you!
Keeping fingers crossed that Dan take the whole things, Memphis gets his share & Keesha is the Fave!!
Hello All! I am excited - and someone said they were just as nervous to know who the jury winner is - me too!
I won't be hating on anyone - but, feeling sorry for some of them for their actions in the house, and the reactions they will most likely be getting when they are out and find out what was really seen by the general public.
This is has been one of more entertaining BB's in the long time, and I will miss ALL of the HG's, some more than others.
I will be back for the Survivor and AR, and hope to see some of the commenters enjoying together.
I will be here in a few hours for the finale! And, plan on watching the post show interviews with ED on real. See ya there!

Carolyn, thanks for the psychobabble! I know that if it weren’t for the April, Libra, Jesse, Brian, Michelle, and even Jerry Big Brother would not be the show we love soooooo much!
I have an enormous appreciation for the courage it takes to walk into the BB house and put one’s self out there for the world to see with 50 magnifying glasses. Every character we do not like combined with the ones we love make the season give us a reason to watch. Can you imagine if we loved them all…who would we root for all season.
