Last Night in the BB10 House
Good Evening Big Brother lovers! I find it very hard to believe, but tonight is the last night in the Big Brother 10 house...At the moment, 5:45pm BBT, the boys are hanging out in the backyard, chatting about all number of random things... Dan's just done his Hannibal Lecter impersonation.
How'd he get there? From a conversation about Jody Foster, who looks exactly like a cousin of his in Italy... Natural progression in a comfortable riff of a conversation between friends.
From Hannibal Lecter to the Stock Market... Dan doesn't know how apt of a segue that is today...
In any case, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be than with all of you here tonight. It's been a heck of a season. :)

At times like this, when it feels like all hell is breaking loose within this country (at least to me) it is sometimes such a relief to come here and lose yourself for a bit.
I send my prayers to all dealing with storms, weather, and all the other crap that most are dealing with these days. Sorry, bad day....so very depressing for so very many....HUGS to all

thanks so much for a great season. it's such a joy to listen and interact with nice people who have good hearts. as for the game, as i watch the feeds tonight, all i can think is how nice it is to watch 2 normal, healthy, kind individuals -- deal with the stress and fall out so graciously. they both deserve to be there. i won't be so happy for the winner, as i will be sad for the 50k winner. again, thanks for the fun. debra in va
Andrea ~~~~~~~ Thank you so much for your support. I really couldn't believe that Gretchen and Danielle were like that. I alway thought that Dani was pretty, but maybe she is another April type. Yuck! I couldn't imagine Keesha EVER being like that. She really seems like a nice person. I wonder why Dani dislikes Keesha so much? Maybe because she is pretty and NICE! Too bad some people have to be like that. Don't they realize who rude and immature they come across? Oh well, still an Evil Dick fan though. Glad she didn't win the half mil!

Well the final two are good players I must admit that...and it is at least compelling that Memphis does feel bad about sending Keesha out before Jerry.
So we'll chalk it up to halfway decent game play and move on to the Big Finale Im thinking cupcakes (chocolate for Keesha) and wine for our Renny Roo...Whose with me?! lol

I totally agree about the Dani comment, I'm pretty sure she's sick of being compared to Keesha all season long! LOL! I LOVE Dani and we have some common friends out in California and she is a great person.
I truly cannot believe that it is the last night! I am going to miss watching these guys every night on BBAD especially the last few when it was just the 2 of them. I feel like I have had good friends visiting & they are leaving tomorrow.
I have always wondered why they make the Final Survivor show 3 hours long & BB only 1 hour. It never seemed fair.
Well, Go Dan! I truly hope he is the winner. Love Memphis & I won't be too disappointed if he wins.
It's like debra in va said how nice it is to watch these guys & how gracious they are with each other. I hope they remain friends for a very, long time.

I am trying to absorb the fact that it is the last night in the house. I will miss everyone so much. Getting up in the morning for the overnight report and seeing everyone check in. Getting a good morning from Carolyn everyday. Sorry that I'm getting so soppy.

I'm glad you have always had a nice experience with Danielle, but it could be that she is nice to you because of this site and that is how she wants people to think of her. I have a feeling that today were her "true colors." I understand about people comparing the two of them together, but what I can't understand is their reaction to it live. Did you see the look on Gretchen's face? It was as if I gave Dani the ultimate insult instead of the ultimate compliment. If you want to say that off the air - that's fine. I do think like Dick said about her that she can be all sweet and charming when it suits her and a spoiled brat when it doesn't. I can see what he means. Again, a shame for both of these girls. They have alot of growing up to do.
I agree that it is so sad that this is the last night. I think this is the first time that I have really enjoyed the people at the end so much that I will have withdrawal when it is all over. I always miss BB when it is gone but the great entertainment at the beginning of the season with Brian, Steven and Angie and the Renegade boys being at the end I think I will actually have withdrawal. How do you guys deal with it?
Thanks to Carolyn too for the link to Kelly's first interview. It was great, as always. When I read it I thought it was funny that Kelly said if she could talk to Dan at that point she would tell him to get Memphis out. I know that some people felt that way all the way to the end, but I was always a fan of them both and knowing they are in the final 2 it just made me giggle :)

Although I haven't posted before tonight, I'm going to try to do it more often. I feel like I know you guys from reading the board and it is comforting to stop in when you've had a bad day because you can always count on a laugh. So not only was this a great season because of the houseguests, but because of all the Dishers as well. Thanks again and everyone have a great night.

I feel Dani should be grateful to have the two of them being compared. Keesha has so much more than Dani IMO. Although I do have to give Dani credit and praises for winning the competitions when she had to.
And it was surprising to hear Jeery during his "one word" description of the houseguests on HC refer to Keesha as "a lot of class". Even though he had a long pause and hesitation with April, and finally described her as "real".
Andrea - Big Hugs!! :) Thank you for being here with us this season. We'll all be back together before ya know it... Those winter BB rumors are flying faster than the concord.

Well it's been a long weekend to say the least I was finally able to get home today after being stranded in the city since Saturday with the remnants of IKE hitting us with 10 inches of rain and closing all to most streets.
WOW the last night!
I want to personally thank all of you for your kind words and participation this season it truly has been amazing!
Carolyn it has been my pleasure to work for / with you the past few seasons. You are an amazing person!

I'm really sad that it's the last night! For some reason, this season felt so short, it feels like it flew by. I know it was shorter than usual by a couple weeks, but still, it feels like it flew by. Maybe cause so many of my faves, like the Fab 4, made it so far.
I can' wait for next season already, but I don't think any future season will be able to top this season, maybe the next all stars, if they bring back the Fab 4, dick and dani, chelsia, matt, and whoever else is really good in the next couple seasons
Silly me - just woke up from a snooze and had a dream tonight was the last full night of the feeds, the boys, etc. etc.
Gonna go wash my face and shake this off. Maybe use some of those burning herbs too!
Carolyn sorry about getting so pissed off about Gretchen and Danielle on Housecalls today. Thanks for all the support out there. I will try to not to be pissed at those two charming and polite young ladies (opps I just threw-up a bit in my mouth).
I am sad that this season is over. Dan and Memphis were great. I hope they are enjoying their last night. I think Dan had a ball this season!
Tiffany and Live togeather...We hav our comps sitting next to each other so that we can do seperate projects and what not.
The feeds freeze up on me so I watch them on Tiffs comp and use the sites to keep up.

Hi Carolyn and dishers...Seems like we just get started and before we know it.. its that time again to say Soooo long.... lol.. I haven't been able to participate as much as I wanted to this season including watching the feeds and commenting but I have kept up with the recaps and I want to say Thanks to Carolyn, ReporterX and the rest of the staff for the tremendous job you do for us BB fanatics. I have heard it many times over that this is the nicest and best blog to be a part of and I am glad to have found it too.
I have to admit that for the first time in a long time, I really cannot say who I think will win the 500K. It really could go either way. I really wouldn't mind either way since I think they both played well.
This season has been by far one of my very favorites and I have to say that I really have enjoyed most of the cast. I still feel really bad for Keesha more than anyone and was hoping they would have given her a shot in the final 3. I really do hope she wins America's favorite to make up for it.
I am wondering as I might have missed it but will there be a winter season? I hope so.. July 2009 is a looooong way off..

Yay sushi!! I was wondering if and when BB was going to treat them to a sushi feast.
Is it me, or has this season really skimped on the takeout food? They had pizza a few times, right? If I recall correctly, they ordered in every eviction night the last two seasons. I remember it being more than just pizza, also. Did BB cheap out this year and just rely on Renny the cook, or what?

I just wanna say that I absolutely love this site and everybody who is part of it. Its gonna be really hard for me to wait almost a year for another season. Im still not sure how I'm gonna deal with it especially since this is the first time I'll have to wait so long for a new season (bb9 was my first).
And can I just say that although this is only my second season the cast was way better and I'm actually happy with the F2!
Evening everyone! I agree with everyone about how Mem and Dan are a great final 2! Ryan and Adam just read the bible and Dick and Danielle didn't hang out so much, as I remember. Anyway, I was thinking about Dan. He really is a great actor. Remember when Keesha was saying how "pure" Dan was? I was kind of agreeing...he wasn't drinking, cursing, anything! Being a good old boy, not that he isn't now. BUT, now he seems more like a guy guy. Anyone know what I mean? He just seems more like his real self, now that he is in the end game. I began to see this new self at around the final 5ish. Anyone...anyone..?

As much as I love, love, love BB, I kinda hope it is just a summer thing. It takes alot of dedication and time to watch and for me, it's easier in the summer. Part of me says YES, yet part of me says...let's wait til summer. But, I'll be there (and here) if there is a winter edition...no fears! (as if you were fearing...lol)

While I enjoy BB all on its own, you certainly do make it 10 fold more enjoyable & fun. You've created an atmosphere here in blogland that is inviting, cheerful, unbiased, and welcoming to anyone that wants to come here and interact with other BB addicts and watchers alike. There aren't many places that hold people in check with their words and comments like you do here and I think it's an atmosphere that is unsurpassed from most other places on the web. You run a pretty classy place here - a place (the internet) that more often than not has no filter at all and I appreciate you and what you do.
Thank you for the long hours, the endless typing and updates, the little to no sleep, and ever friendly voice and face you exude from your remarks and comments. Your countless hours of dedication do not go unnoticed. You are truly one of a kind and a class act!!

It seem so strange to think that tonight is the last night we here at Dish will share with our favorite houseguests. They have undoubtedly been the most entertaining Final Two I have seen. I only wish that we could have a had a night with the boys and Keesha and RennyRoo(sans Jeerry)that would have been a hoot. I am looking forward to their last late night antics, BB Oympics.
I agree, I wish BB would give us more than a 1 hour finale, I would love to see more of the memorable moments of the season. I so look forward to seeing interviews with the former hgs after they return to their lives. But please, Carolyn, no interview with Jeery!
I agree that of all of those this season these are the two who have never forgotten it was a game. I believe Keesha did too, will realize that being a game the boys made the best choice. It's very hard to look at it impartially when you are the one being evicted after coming so far to see someone like Jeery stay.
Carolyn, and Reporter X you have out done yourselves day in and day out, babysitting all of us and putting up with the craziness here.
Dish is like no place else on earth, a place for fun and comfort, sharing and compassion and outright insanity. Kudos to you for creating this place you allow us to visit. It is so much more than just a place to watch the hamsters and keep informed. What a way to make friends near and far.
Mmmm the boys have their sushi, sure wish I had some. And of course now, Dan has to rub it in!! Brat!
And don't forget all, tomorrow is TIP night!! Everyone hit the tip jar at tomorrow night's final and show Carolyn our appreciation. Lets send her off for some much needed pampering and relaxation!!!

When the feeds first came on, I thought that Keesha looked exactly like her. But after a few days the novelty wore off and I didn't think they resembled each other at all. Keesha's personality is so vibrant. Dani I always thought was whiney.
Dan and Memphis are so flippin cute eating their Japanese food. Dan keeps giving BB shout outs thanking them. Sigh. I can't believe this is the last night.
So what do they do with HOH room? Do they shut it down? They should let them hang up there since there's the extra bathroom. You know as a perk.

Lee - I totally agree about Dan. I have noticed it a lot while it's been him & Memphis. Last night he was so funny checking for beer. He really didn't seem to care about the alcohol when the game was going on.

Watching them earlier today so totally bored, I really wished BB would let them out for a while. It's not like it's going to mess with the game at this point. Let them go to Memphis' house. And it's not like they wouldn't come back for the $$. I would be absolutely bonkers by now!

Carolyn I was just remembering one of our funny moments. I was asking for courage because I was getting an impacted wisdom tooth pulled the next day and you told me not to worry because I would be stoned out of my gourd. It turned out that I got really sick after that because there was still a bit of infection left but I was laughing my head off when you said it and I kept thinking about it the next morning as I sat in that chair.

I can't even watch the feeds tonight. It's bittersweet. I've come to enjoy watching the boys so much and I know this is the end. I get addicted them, and this season/these 2 more than others. It's sad to me that after tomorrow we won't be able to watch them whenever we want.
Okay, I sounded like a stalker. LOL! It's comparable to how everyone felt when Renny then Keesha were evicted.
Anyway, I'll miss you guys and this place. I'll be checking in on you all during Survivor/TAR but I'm not a huge fan of either so it's not gonna be like BB.

I'd like to put my two cents in...I NEVER even thought of Dani when I saw Keesha...I always thought of Janelle..I mean Dani had slipped my mind totally. She is the one who got through that season riding on the coat tails of Daddy Dick...LOL LOL But No I really never thought of Dani in that way of comparing keesha to someone..It was always Janelle for me who I compared her too...

I've watched BB since the beginning. And I've never been more addicted or enjoyed it more than this season. BB8 runs a close second. But Dick and Dani were no Dan and Memphis. Carolyn, I agree with so many others that said they would love to see your gorgeous face as part of the logo. Not only are you stunningly beautiful, but your eyes shine with all the kindness within you. Personally, I’m not fond of the current pic. It doesn’t show the true personally of this blog.
Regarding Dan and Memphis; I think that Dan brings out the best in Memphis and allows him to just be a 25 year-old young man.

Dawn, your screen caps this season have been the greatest.You have such a talent for catching the perfect expression. I have used them frequently to explain to Other grandmother what was going on in the house as she is a tv only.
Dan is cracking me up about seeing Dark Knight, saying he will walk past Julie grab his check and head right to the theater! Lmao, I don't think that is going to be on Monica's agenda, or his for that matter, once he sees her. They are such boys...
Last season we left the final 2 having learned to dislike them more once they were alone, to just lie around picking, and scratching,trashing women and shredding the other hgs.
This season I think everyone likes the boys even more after these last few days spent with them. They have had such facinating discussions, didn't sit around ripping the evictees, gave props where deserved, and made 4 days of been cooped up alone highly entertaining.
I shall sincerely miss them. Can't say that I have said that before.

Last night in the house. Hard to believe. Since Dan is a Michigan boy was always rooting for him but just didn't think he would make it. How wrong you can be sometimes. Memphis always seemed to me to be the more knowledgeable player if not the stronger one. Now here they are, the Renegades.
Have loved every minute being here with all of you. I was a lurker a bit the last two seasons and I'm still not official, I'll get to it at some point :) Carolyn and crew you do such a great good and this is my first stop every morning even before I check my e-mail. Thanks for a great season. Glad you will still be around for Survivor and TAR. TAR is actually my favorite out of the three anymore since I love to see the cities they go to.
The video of Ophelia and BB 2 was awesome. I hardly recognized that house, it's been a long time. So different from now, more furniture at least in the back yard and real grass back then too I think. Sometimes the new house seems to sterile.
Anyone see the preview for tomorrow's show? The clip they showed of Keesha and Libra didn't sound like either boy was getting an easy vote. Should be awesome.
Since this was the tenth season and the twist was no twist back to just strangers in the house what do you think they will do next season? Think it will really be something crazy?

Thanks to Carolyn and all the dishers...those that work the site and those like gaytor that just "work" the site. :) This was my favorite season by far, however I am not all that happy about the final 2...would have liked to have had either keesha or renny...or both in final 2 that the two boys. But since it is them I have to say I'm all about memphis winning. I just think dan overplayed the game when he didn't have to and I lost any good feelings about him that I had. I'm just hoping michelle and keesha see through what he did...or in keesha's case...didn't do and vote for memphis. Funny thing is...I bet dan and memphis never speak to each other again unless it's due to some kind of big brother responsibility. They are soooooo different.
Anyway...go memphis...and thanks again Carolyn for your site...it's by far the best. And this year I made sure the tip jar has a little sumpin...sumpin in it from me. :)

re: the last BB10 nite...this is like no other show, 24/7 immersion plus Showtime makes this a tough habit to break at end of season. I will check in for TAR and Survivor, I'll be watching both...one hour a week, yikes! Keeping my fingers crossed for a winter season BB11.
What a great season! Best since Janelle, Kaysar, and Dr. Will. The F2 are very entertaining the last few days with their competitions, Ted the spider, and their good natured banter. Makes Adam and Ryan look like...well, boring. BB10had no yellers like Josh, James, and E.D., and a much more positive cast. Especially after they got rid of A/O. Oh, poor Ollie...no comment, 'cept he was one pathetic HG. Not sure about more 75 yr. olds...but that's what makes BB, the unexpected.
Good luck and positive vibes for Dan tomorrow, I want him to win.

Hey everyone! I have some catching up to do. Thank goodness it's been somewhat quiet in the house, but I need to catch up on all the comments. I just found out I have Lupus, so the past few days have sucked and I've been trying to figure out this sucker. But I also decided to start my own blog, which has been fun creating.
I'm so glas BB gave them sushi! Now I want some! I love sushi, but here in this small town, I can't get any. I'm in Vegas every few months and have to get my sushi fix there.
I realy want Dan to win. I think he deserves it and has played well. I did not like the whole roulette thing, but whatever. And I really want Keesha to win AC. I have voted around 30 times a day online.
Anyway, I am watching the Cowboys vs. Eagles and I hope my boys can win this one! See you all tomorrow for the finale. I will now be reading all the comments I missed.

I sure wish we lived closer Carolyn. I bought a stand alone freezer years ago, so I would have plenty of ice gel packs. Everyone that has ever looked in there has a very strange look on their face. My sis in law thought they were the frozen berry wine coolers, because they are blue. lol Comes in handy when we have hurricanes too.

Carolyn, thanks for letting us know about Beorn. So relieved that he finally checked in. We all have become such a family and genuinely worry when someone is out of touch, ill, or going through rough times. A better bunch of folks I couldn't have hoped I'd be lucky enough to meet. OG thinks I'm a bit batty when I start going on about Dishers instead of the hgs. I think I will get her hooked for TAR and Survivor though. Now i just gotta get her to try pogo so we can play cribbage or Backgammon while I'm up at the cape.
Ok Carolyn, I ordered not only the mug I special requested but another as well. The big mugs cause you can't drink coffee out of little ones. The bigger the better I say!!
I have only got 2 littler cups in my house and those are for my grandma.

The love fest here matches the lovely mood these boys brought to the house all season. Watching the variety show on the refeeds last night and the recap show with the puppets made me appreciated these HGs so much. More than any other season I'd love to see a few of them in other endeavors.

I almost killed myself doing yoga tonight. I had the feeds on and Dan and Memphis started laughing about something and I jerked my body really quick to see what was going on. I'll be feeling it in the morning, haha.
Carolyn, have you tried yoga for your back? It feels really good stretching out all the muscles and it takes pressure off the back.
Also, have you had anyone walk on it? I swear it works. I used to walk on my friends back all the time, he'd feel like a million bucks after.
I liked this season a lot. Although, I wish people like Ollie and Michelle were not in the jury house. I wish it could have been Steven and Angie. What frosts my cookies with Ollie is that he did NOTHING. So many people would love to be on this show and he makes it on and is a total dud (even in the bedroom, lol).
My gut is telling me the jury is going to choose Memphis. Unless, the BB producers plant seeds in their heads and push Dan's gameplay, I can't see them choosing logically.
Anyway, I'm so glad I found this site. I'll be back for the winter edition. Unless, the chicks start covering my other guilty pleasures like the Girls Next Door and Sunset Tan, hahah.

Bailey, I totally agree with you about Ollie big nothing. He did give a FEW entertaining moments, the crows, and sinking like a brick in Swim Club, but considering he was here 6+ weeks that's very little. I won't comment about his prowess or lack of in the bedroom.

I want to start off by saying I am soooo sad that this is my last night watching Big Brother 10 on the live feeds. I work all day tomorrow, so this is it. Thank goodness for Big Brother replay so I can slowly ween myself from my big brother addiction.
I am so happy this year with the final 2. I have been a big Renegade fan, particularly Dan. I think he has played a very strategic non personal game. He is funny and entertaining and really seems like a genuinely nice guy. I am really hoping he wins this. He truly has played the best game.

Carolyn and Julissa - Thank you for the well wishes and hugs. I'll be fine. I'm pretty tough. And I have 5 kids to help me through day to day stuff. "If I can see it, you can see it!" as my Mom would say. I am really fatigued and joints hurt, but I just bought myself an Adult Tricycle and by gosh I will be riding it! No one better make fun of me...or they will feel my wrath. =)
So on another note, I will be making some hygiene kits for people that were affected by Hurricane Ike. My church helps ship these out and distributs them to people in need. I only wish I could help more. My prayers are with those in need.
And now I must celebrate a bit, for a great win by the Cowboys. That was a great game.
