BB HGs: Oregon, eBay and Outer Space

Happy Thursday, Big Brother lovers!  Happy Passover!  Happy Easter!

Ok, so in the previous post we established that while CBS has confirmed a summer start for Big Brother 11, they haven't actually confirmed a date yet. They have, however, begun the casting process.

I've been digging around for more Big Brother related info, and here's some of what I've found...

2nd Annual Reality Reunion

Kail BB8 and James from BB6 and All-Stars are hosting the 2nd annual Reality Reunion Event in Rainbow Oregon, and you're all invited. The event takes place from May 3rd to May 6th and space is limited, so if you're interested in attending, click here for all the info.

In addition to Kail and James, you can expect to see BB alumni from seasons 5-10: Cowboy from BB5; Howie, Janelle and Kaysar from BB6 and All-Stars; Ashlea and Beau from BB6; Joe Barber from BB8; Natalie, Parker and Alex from BB9, as well as April, Michelle and Brian from BB10.

***April 14, 2009 Update - This event keeps growing!  BB9 Chelsea confirmed her attendance just this morning.


Ebay Mayhem and Foolishness
I did a quick check on BB ebay auctions, and found that someone's got a buy it now auction for BB8 Carol's BB Duffle Bag. It's on the pricey side...

I've been a bit of an ebay spazz lately. Anyone else out there? I've got 2 questions for you: What is the weirdest thing you've bought? What is the most useful thing? 

I'll confess first:

Best/Most Useful: For obvious BB blogging reasons... Adjustable Laptop Handmade Bed Tray Table. It arrived yesterday, and I couldn't be happier! :)

Weirdest: I actually bought a 25 pound bag of rocks. lol. A friend of mine is a high school art teacher, and she's been on budget fumes for months, so I asked her for a wish list and set to filling it. Now, Rocks weren't actually on the list, but when I saw these, I thought they might be cool for all kinds of projects.

Last but not least, I offer the following quote:

Sounds like a really enlightened houseguest on Big Brother, right?

Well, it's not. It's a German Astronaut talking about an "international team of researchers who entered a claustrophobic metal module in northern Moscow Tuesday to spend three months in windowless isolation intended to simulate the stress and fatigue of space flight to Mars." Gotta love it when life imitates art. ;) At least the astronauts wont have the added pressures of weekly evictions and knowing everyone around them is out to get them!
