Happy Holidays, Big Brother Lovers!!
It's been a while! As you may have noticed, the Survivor & Amazing Race blogs kinda fell by the wayside. Sorry about that. I guess it falls under the category of "know your strengths!" Big Brother is ours, and we're sticking by it.
For now, the dishchicks are enjoying a long winter's nap. :) Fear not, we'll be back in full force once BB11 gets underway... whether that be in the summertime, or in the winter - pending a possible Screen Actors Guild strike... if there's even time to put an early BB together. Frankly, the possibility for replacing the actor based tv shows may have already been decided and discussed, but like I said, long winter's nap and all... ;)
In the meantime, we hope everyone is keeping warm and healthy and enjoying the holiday season!

A strike won't accelerate an Early version of Big Brother this year. Most Network television shows got an early start last summer (June and early July) due to the Writer's Strike. Most are up to Episode 19 - 20 in the filming process.
CBS has the Canadian series Flashpoint already added to it's 'winter' schedule and can get plenty of millage from doing Price is Right primetime shows, as well as reairing classic CSI's.
If the Strike happens the earliest Big Brother would be on the air is mid-June. But that seems unlikely as well.

Another question: anyone have any updates on how the BB10 house guests are doing? I've been curious but haven't looked into it so far.

That doesn't keep me from missing you and all our Dish Family here but I'll be looking forward to whenever we reunite.
Believe it or not, I have no smart ass comment to make at this moment in time. Guess there were way too many Christmas Shows this week. (4 of them and I think my lashes are now permanently in place. It's been a profitable season and we all love the extra cash.
HugZ and kisses to all as I now settle in for my SHORT winter's nap as Mardi Gras is fast approaching. Anyone coming for that better contact me so we can meet and greet... or in the case of Blue or Mike... :p .... Meat!

Hey there...Hope the off-season is treating you well. For those who want a shot of BB during the down time..I've posted full seasons of BB1, BB2, BB4, BB5 & BB10 to my youtube page...I've started on BB3 and should have it complete within the next week or two..
CAROLYN! Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! That goes out to everyone else who dishes/blogs here at the dish. The reason I am visiting today is because a friend from work who loves BB(thank God I found 1!) says that BB is coming back for the winter? Now I am not usually one who falls for the rumors, but this just perked my day so I had to check and see whatcha all think. Any truth or just malarkey?
Anyways, it's been nice to see you all and I can't wait for BB11!!
