18 More Days Til Big Brother 11
Happy Sunday, Big Brother Lovers!! Happy Fathers Day!!
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday with your families and loved ones. I'll be off sharing some time with mine. :)
After so many months, it's hard to believe, but Big Brother 11 is now only 18 days away.
18 days!!
What will this new season bring? Who will we fall in love with? Who.. not so much? Will we have another BB genius on our hands? I sure hope so! Lots of drama on the live feeds? I'd say that's pretty well guaranteed.
One thing is for certain, we'll have a lot of returning friends here on BBDish! And I'm sure we'll make some new ones too!
You may have noticed some new things along the sidebars. If you haven't, then take a look! We're on twitter now, as well as facebook and myspace. The links are on the sidebars (both of em), but I'll give them to you here too, 'cause I want to make sure you're well connected this season!
I've also done a bit of research on sites I think you'll like - with great deals - and those are along the sidebars too.

Its the anticipation of who the HGs will be that makes it exciting for me.

BTW: I can't wait for this new season! But unfortunately we are going camping starting July 9th! UGH! lol. I will be taping them though using my DVR and catching up once I get back from watching and checking in w/you.
Do you know when the early bird special goes away? I'm trying to push it off to the last minute so I can get maximum BB watching and savings (I'm a starving grad student!)

Just a quick question...are you going to be able to post the youtube videos of the bb house on your site this season?
I know that last season there was some sort of mess with CBS and all that would not let you do that.

According to the source it says the houseguests will have to earn the prize money and until then there is a "0" prize...
I may be kinda late in mentioning this so this may be old news, but has anyone seen the Bravo preview for Miami Social? It looks like Hardy from season 2 is in it.

Cakegirl - No vids this year, still wayyy illegal, but now that real will have the "flashback machine," there will be no need for videos :). You can scroll back to any date and time you want all season long, right there within real..
Re Possible twists - umm.. i've danced this dance too many times to not just wait for Julie to say, here's what it is:" ____," and then I know it's the truth :)
The latest on the "twist" is that it's "the coolest yet"..so I can't wait :)
So could Ross really get out of his Inside Dish commitment and his summer gig on the Game Show network?
It's official..CBS Website shows 12 mystery boxes..looks like we have 12 houseguests!
OK Carolyn, I know you are very skeptical to rumors, but CornerOffice is back at RealityBBQ giving some more dirt! He/She was the one who basically told us the twist of the beginning of Season 10 and broke down the HG's before the show aired. All they posted was that HG's enter the house on July 5th and clue to twist was this question: "What were you a part of in High School?" So, NOW can we start going crazy w/ speculation? lol I am thinking some HGs will know each other or you got some nerdy people, some jocks, some beautiful, etc.
Sorry for all info in 1 paragraph, lol.

if it is high school cliques, expect nerd, jock, popular, preppie, class clown, drama, emo rocker, outcast, dropout, racial steryotype, the artist, the mean girl, etc
Carolyn where did you go in Maine. I live in Florida, 6 months and Maine 6 months. Great life. LOL
The high school thing sounds interesting, but does that mean we only get a young cast?
Hoping for more mature HG's ....
I wonder if when they vote someone off who has, say a bank of $20,000, then do they all get to split it among the remaining houseguests? That would change up the game a lot, b/c then they would be trying to vote off the players that have won the most money and have the biggest bank account.....
And really, the players would be actually trying to win the comps instead of throwing them b/c they'd want to build up their bank account.... Incentive to play......
Or would it be best to keep the best players around until the end, assuming the BEST players will then have the biggest bank accounts. That way the remaining houseguests could split a bank of, say $100,000 between 3 people instead of $20,000 between 10 people??? Interesting, the more I think about it!!
A thought about the "high school" idea: Maybe it's not about what clique you were in (cool, nerd, jock, etc.) but what activities you were a part of. It's similar, but different.... say there is someone who was a football player, someone who was in drama, someone who was on debate, a math club-er, a gymnast, a basketball player, a cheerleader, the valedictorian, the yearbook staff, they guy who always had the coolest parties (o.k. well that's not an official school activity, but we all had one in our school!) etc. etc.

There happened to be a former cast member from beauty and the geek at the NYC auditions? Coinicidence? I think not.
OMG!! Hey Carolyn!!! BBLovers!! I am soooo excited about the reveal this morning I can hardly stand it!! My take is I think it will be a fairy tales theme..e.g. the 3 beds..Goldilocks and the 3 bears? Will we see our Natalie make a comeback? I noticed a Little Mermaid theme as well!! Coincidence..She was soo entertaining and really messed her game up in the end. Who better to play Goldilocks..lol. I would love a BB alumni mix with new houseguests, such as Jen..oh you know we loved to hate her but dang..give her a chance without Dick! A rumor about Sheila coming back? Sorry Carolyn but it really has just not been long enough to endure another season of her whining..I would love to see Renny back in her place if its true.
I have followed BB on your blog for a few seasons Carolyn and I think you and your constituates deserve such high praise for all the work and time you put into this blog. You make us all feel like part of the BB family. Thanks for all the hard work ya'll do!!
