Ronnie: But then there's the factor of the people who only see the tv show and don't get the live feeds, so they don't know what really goes on in the house and they only have the edit to depend on.. It'll be interesting and unique to watch the live feeds of this season, and to watch the episodes... to see what really happened and what was shown. This is the first year you can rewind the live feeds.... They have very day of the entire season, minute by minute...

Morning All!
Peeling back the eye lids and trying to play catch up.
Great job as always Genie!
Sorry i clocked out on everyone so early but when it hits it hits hard. Managed to sleep for 10 hrs which is a huge feat all on its own! (i normally can only sleep 5-7 hrs before my body starts complaining)
Still have to go look at the roof today and see if i'm missing anthing but i did notice a lot of down branches in the yard.
Had a nice chat with my Mummy this morning - then my brother brough the cockatoos up and all i coould hear is Chicken saying "chicken pot pie" over and over - cue to get off the phone before he starts yelling.
We are still in a watch for severe storms so hopefully i wont lose power and better yet if i'm lucky i can stay inside and not have to do yard work.

1. Is there someone online that has the actual rules of the Have Not's??
I can't seem to find the official rules and there is a lot of wish/wash with them. Some site say you can sleep anywhere during the day others say you can't. One site is claiming they changed the rules so you can sleep or lay down during the day because of Jordan! (ha that made me laugh) They claim they allowed Jordan to snuggle with Jeff during her have not week because they wanted them to whisper in each other's ear for ratings.

I like that the lingo in the house is Wizard Power. I can't imagine anyone but Jeff winning it (bots can't vote on java pages guys, don't worry) but I hope he doesn't spill it to Jordan. For her own sake.
Michele is my hero for leading the charge to evict Ronnie before Jury House.
It amuses me to no end that the two WORST strategists in recent memory (Jessie & Ronnie) think they have some special "insight" into how the game works, when they are lucky at best. Jessie owes his first & second HoH's to Russell and luck respectively. & Ronnie's bogus HoH win was a matter of being first to buzz in.
I'd like to remind everyone that Michele has been on the cusp of winning 2 HoH contests & now has won 2 of the 4 PoV's. I'm so so so glad she doesn't have to lay low for the rest of the week. She can tell Ronnie to stfu w/o fear of ANY repercussions.

I've said all along that Russell's playing the best game. Now I have to add Michelle to that mix. Not only have they not isolated themselves to one side or another, they've picked the absolute best time to align with not only each other but Jeff/Jordan. They know J/J are gonna have the "wizard" power. Aligning with them gives them a chance to have that power used to save them too, not just J/J.
Add to that, the 3 strongest players mentally and physically are Michelle, Russell, Jeff. All 4 vetos and HOH or runner up to HOH all 4 weeks. Smart smart smart!

1. Is there someone online that has the actual rules of the Have Not's??
Hiya Laura! I don't have the rules, but I can give you my thoughts on this. I think that if BB has announced to the houseguests that it's time to get up for the day, then and only then can they sleep in the spa room. They aren't allowed to sleep in the living room area, including the landing outside the HOH area. I think that they were very relaxed on the rules during Laura (the HG, hehe) and Jordan's week. And I think Natalie and Jessie have complained about that when they were constantly getting the reminders over the last few days. So I think that BB has backed off of them during the daylight hours. Today however, I believe was a different story. BB had not announced it was time to get up yet, and Jessie and Natalie were already in the spa room sleeping prior to the announcement. I hope they both get penalty noms. Which brings me to my question:
Can someone explain to me how a penalty nomination works? I can't remember seeing one, except maybe Jen from Season 8 for eating. But she was already on the block right?
I think I am totally crushing on Michele now! She's so awesome! lol.

Agree with you indigoprince32, about Chima being a "brain"? If she has one she better start using it or she'll be out the door right after "jessalie".
The houseguests have already realized that Big Brother won't enforce any penalties. Kevin ate, Jesse & Natalie sleep all day in comfort. The houseguests have even mentioned not worrying about penalties, to do whatever they want.
Big Brother needs to start living up to the "harsh conditions" they advertised.
Russell is full of sugar honey ice tea; I thought he didnt like talkign about teh business (show. Then why does he keep askign questions about it?

I'm starting to see that Russell is actually just a nice guy (manipulative, but nice) & maybe lumping him into an alliance w Chima is wrong. It's only due to how clingy Chima has been with him of late.

Ronnie is quite the spinner of tales, so happy that no one is a believer other than maybe Chima, and really don't think it will do her much good. The rest are just having fun, which is great to see right now.
Finally relaxed a little, good to see!! Love that Russ offered the HOH for J/J, though they probably won't use, but cute anyway!

I know I'm constantly yammering on about Michele, I must be in love with her or something, lol, but I am really enjoying the fact that she is coming out of her gaming shell. She has gotten back on better bonds with Jeff/Jordan and really connected on a personal/strategic level with Russell last night. She has admitted flat out that she will be booting Ronnie to EVERYONE in the house. Someone made this comment and I completely agree, but her guaranteed Jury House spot has relieved her in this game. I swear, she was even talking differently in the HoH room w/ Russel last night.

Syn: in answer to your question about how the penalty nom works: I believe that if is put into effect when you are on the block. You get an extra vote to leave on top of the other votes. I think that's how it worked with Jen, so even if Jessie?Nat get one, it will only affect them if they are nominated.

I am so happy Michele told Lydia she has her vote. It pretty much locks it in that Ronnie is a gonner. I really don't beleive Michele would outright lie, she would probably not say anything if she was voting her out. If you notice she usually just gives unclear answers instead of lying.

I was commenting to say that the BB America's Vote Terms and Conditions actually pops up when I try to vote on the website from my phone and it says that the free online voting is limited to 10 votes too. This is exactly what it says:
"There is a maximum of ten (10)votes using the text message method of voting and ten (10) free votes online."
I tried looking for it on my computer, and the T&C's are nowhere to be found (besides the small blurp under the voting). I just thought I would share that.
I mean- it can't hurt to try to vote more, but still. It also gives me hope that Team Ronnie (his family and friends) won't be able to make bots like I've seen claimed.

I think a penalty nom works that if you get one, you're on the block. Either as the replacement after veto is used or before noms are made,they tell the HOH and hgs that one person is automatically nominated. So, Jesse and/or Natalie could be put on the block by BB as punishment. I don't think they're messing with Kevin because he at one mango chip after a long day and that endurance comp. It was an honest mistake. Not the blatant rule-defying that Nat/Jesse are doing.
Jen got a penalty vote because they initially gave her a penalty nom for the following week. Since she was on the block currently, that made it unfair to her block-mate Jameka. The hgs all talked about, "cool, get rid of Jameka this week and Jen's automatically up next week". That's why BB changed it to a penalty vote.

Genie - I think Ronnie is beyond delusion and moving into narcissism. His self perception is completely distorted. OK, that's delusion too, but combined with such an arrogance. I suspect he is a very sheltered person with limited life experience (don't know if you've ever been to WV, but it's a lot like time travel to the past). He was a big fish in a very small pond - uh - more like a puddle, and in that context he may well seem like a superior intellect with worldly experience. But the truth is, he doesn't know sh*t about sh*t, particularly himself. THAT is what he has done wrong - but without years of therapy and world travel, it's probably out of his control. Though he might start with reading a book rather than 6 hours of fantasy video games a day.

Okies, I've done my research, apparently Jen in season 8 is the only one to ever receive a penalty nomination (which was changed to a penalty vote as Anon @ 1:59 cleared up, thx!) for eating a turkey burger, an apple, and cole slaw I think. No other houseguest has received a penalty nom/vote.

A: The possibility of a penalty nomination really exists. It's an option we've yet to use. Yes, it would probably mean that there would be three nominees up for eviction. I'm glad we haven't had to use it because it would mean that a houseguest really messed up and didn't follow our rules.
MikeInBama - They were talking about Hitler because Ronnie told someone he thought Hitler was a good speaker & he liked the way Hitler could control minds by his speeches. Then Jordan asked how Hitler died. Lydia was explaining how he died.

Mike, apparently Ronnie used Hitler and Stalin of examples of great orators - trying to make the point that great oration is style over content. Everyone is understandably pissed.
The funny thing (not funny ha ha) about what Ronnie says is it totally takes their speeches out of context, and presupposes their speaking is what moved that masses, not the complex issue of the time and the desperation of the people. Forget that Ronnie is a fool for using such divisive examples (hey, use MLK if you want to throw names around while the world is watching), but he is so narrow minded and ignorant. He is a pathetic man. Sorry Ronnie's wife - but he dug his own hole, deeper and deeper.
And Ronnie, let's say for the sake of argument Hitler was a convincing speech maker - is that really the comparison you want to make in the BB game? You planning to win by mass annihilation? They won't let you keep the prize money on death row.

Lydia talking in baby talk is driving me absolutely crazy. In a small way, I wish she was going hom this week.
I really like Michele, but I keep thinking of her as the delusional geek trying to fit in with the cool kids. Jeff, Russell, and even Jordan have talked so much crap to her. I think she is definitely the low man on the totem pole. And homegirl is going on a bit of a power trip. Re: Ronnie - I know that he is responsible for much of what he's done in the house. I am genuinely concerned for his sanity once he's out of the house. He is so delusional right now and he thinks he might be akin to the oft-loved Dan. He is in for an extremely rude awakening. Just listening to the BB Lunch thing with Chelsia and Missy on the day that Ronnie's wife and family called in was painful. I didn't listen to it all, just heard the warning from Missy and Chelsia about being polite because his family wasn't responsible with how he acted in the house. I briefly listened to Ronnie's parents and they sounded so dejected with the whole experience. I really think he might lose it once he's out of the house. It's a shame really because he had great potential in the beginning.

HEY all you BBdisher addicts! My dream plan is busted, I think. Michelle opened up a little too much to Ronnie and told him that she is honestly not voting for him and has been offered protection from people. Ronnie told Nat and Nat just told Jessie. BOO to Michelle! She should have played along and pretended to be voting for him, so Jessalie would be exposed. UGH! They are too smart now to be the only ones to vote.
Natalie is in the Green room serving Jessie the lies Ronnie served her. They want to talk to Russell and hint that he won't be safe next week
I hope Russell asks Michelle to use the Veto on Lydia and he replaces her with Jessie.

Lee, Michelle did tell Ronnie that keeping him didn't benefit her but she never out and out said you're gone and she really never said she had protection. Just another Ronnie lie.
I think Russell feels solid in his alliance with Michelle/Jeff. He knows Jeff's a straight up guy and he and Michelle really bonded last night. I hope they do run and tell him. He's not goin to believe them.

I went to you tube and watched the video of Chip and Zach.I thought it was bordering on X rating due to the harsh words coming from the monkey puppet Chip.Zach was being played by none other than our own BB houseguest Ronnie.It was suppose to be teaching children to obey their parents.I didn't see any thing like that just one nasty monkey and Ronnie...

FYI - Kevin is being penalized for eating.
Kevin has an extra day on slop because of the grape he ate. What about sleeping on the couch all day???? Last night, too, they were sleeping on it. They should be punished, too. 5 more nights in the Have Not Room sounds appropriate to me! ;)
aw, that sucks about Kevin getting an extra day of slop because of eating grapes, I mean, yes he did eat obviously, but what about the two that sleep all day when they shouldnt be?

To be fair, if you rewind the tape, you'll see that Michele did approach Natalie and ask her if they were going to try and keep Ronnie or not. And Natalie said let's wait until after the veto... the stuff about Michele getting safety on the other side is also true! But they just don't know that Russell is on the other side.
Also, why isn't Kevin getting a penalty nomination or vote for eating food? Did they change the rules since season 8? This wasn't the first time that he ate real food.
