Will Wikle's Blogging for BBDish!!

The HGs are chewing Russell's ear off Pre-Nomination Ceremony, and he has definitely had enough... Watching him work information out of all of them has been very interesting, but I can't imagine any of their words have actually had an effect on him, beyond giving him a better grasp on who stands where and with whom... Enough! Bring on the Nomination Ceremony!

While we wait for it, It's time for Will Wikle's blog on the Live Show!! :)

As Jun mentioned in her Tuesday Show Blog...

"Will Wikle from Season 5 has had his fire reignited and will be guest blogging for the Thursday Live Eviction Night! I will be down in Cape May for the rest of the week for some time away…before I have a minor meltdown. Talk to you all soon!"

Dishers, please give "Nurse Will" a warm welcome for his 1st blog here at BBDish! His piece is all about the Thursday CBS Live Show of Big Brother. He stops once the CBS hour's done... That said, his predictions are spot on!! For those of you on twitter, follow Will @cww7732. And without further ado... Heeeeeere's Will!

THOUGHTS DURING THE LIVE SHOW:

1) Julie Chen looks resplendent in her purple chiffon maternity cloud and wide leg white trousers. I wonder if that Kimodo dragon broach cleverly pinned to her shoulder is from one of the celebrity jewelry lines..maybe Tori Spelling? Joan Rivers? I also would particularly enjoy Julie Chen's water breaking on the live show. It might be the only thing that could break the Chenbot's perfect delivery. A delivery would affect her delivery, get it? These are the things I think about. http://bb11dish.com

2) Is Jordan wearing a Mardi Gras shirt she bought from a convenience store? I wonder if this shirt holds some special value for her (a gift from a deceased relative) or if it is actually something she would wear by choice? Her mother's statement that Jeff might be "the one" is rather creepy. The BB house will never lend itself to a romantic comedy style love affair.
http://bb11dish.com
3) Voting Casey out is probably the smartest choice, given the nominees. Even though his accent is somewhat reminiscent of Buckwild from 'Flavor of Love', I have a feeling he would've been a greater threat in HOH competitions. stolen from http://bb11dish.com

4) Speaking of accents, Lydia's brokedown british diary room vote was more painful than oral surgery without anesthesia. Although I wanted to get through the entire post without attacking anyone's physical appearance, I can't mention Lydia and oral surgery in the same thought without highlighting her dental needs. That's all I'm going to say on that.
stolen from http://bb11dish.com
5) The endurance competition looked tough, right? Normally I find it so lame when Julie is all "Now we're going to make things more difficult for you" and they sprinkle shaving cream or lukewarm water on the HGs, like that will really break their concentration. But that foam diploma looked like it hurt like a mofo...I can guarantee you that Lydia, Kevin, Jordan, Chima, and Michelle will not make it through this one. I am placing my bets on Russell or Jeff. It sounds sexist, but I don't think any of these girls/Kevin have the chops to hang on through the hard knocks. I can bet that Laura (AKA Heidi Fleiss) would have proven a strong competitor on this task. I miss her!! stolen from http://bb11dish.com

6) I will say that I am on Team Chima all the way, honey. I don't think she seems like a great character/game player YET, but I have seen moments of humanity and realness which I can't really say for anyone else. Then again, I am always a sucker for the strong black woman. As Beyonce sings, a diva is a female version of a hustla, of a hustla! I'm rooting for Chima to up her game. stolen from http://bb11dish.com

7) As far as the Coup d'Etat, I would say vote for Russell OR Jeff (whichever one doesn't win the HOH). It would be nice to see someone shake things up HARDCORE and switch both the nominations at the last minute and take everyone by surprise. Of course, this is the BB house so no doubt whoever wins the Coup d'Etat will end up telling all the other HGs about it in less than 12 hours after the producers let him know. stolen from http://bb11dish.com

8) The producers need to come up with some decent twists or they are going to lose the viewers. I still think my season's twists (Nakomis/Cowboy and the twins) will go down as the best twists in reality tv history so I'm a little partial. Do you guys have any ideas for good twists? I would love to hear them.

AND JUST A TOTAL ASIDE, I did not watch the last season, but I now have a major crush on the guy Brian who should've beat Jessie back in the house this season...just so I could watch him take cold showers.

AND I wanna give a shout out to two of my boos, David Ozanich and Karl Nilsson. David wants you to VOTE CHIMA in the Coup d'Etat, while Karl is TEAM JEFF...just sayin'.

Nice blog, Will. It's good to hear from you. I love stream of conscious, bulletpoint blogs.

I can't back you up on the Chima love. Outside of her speech in week one she's been as boring as watching paint dry.

As far as twists go, I'm old skool. HoH and veto is fine but I would love to see just another season where it's all strangers and no one gets any special powers (we had that last year until Dan got to be America's Player for a week.)

When a show has had a new twist every single year wouldn't the biggest twist of all be no twist whatsoever?

Anywho, thanks for writing! Hope to hear from you again.

Thank you Will for the blog! Its so cool to have different opinions from former HGs.

I agree that there needs to be some bigger twists - the high school cliques was lame compared to some of the ones from the past. My fav has got to be when they were swapping out the twins and no one caught on to it.

Very nice blog, Will!!! I have to agree, the *twin* twist was definitely one of the greatest twists evah!!! I thoroughly enjoyed that one that season, and I wasn't even a live feeds subscriber then!!

Thank you for your take on everything!!! Enjoyed reading it very much!!!

I agree that the twists from BB5 were the best. With that said I'm getting tired of the twists. Secret pairs, couples, and cliques are all basically the same thing. I don't know about ya'll, but I'm ready for a house of strangers working alone from the beginning.

Thank you Will! I always love to hear from the former HGs on their opinions of current HGs. I completely agree with you on some more twists. More than just 1 twist per season please!

And another thing, can we have a gaymance between 2 really hot guys already!?

Hey Will, Welcome to the Dish.

Nice Bloggin. I agree with you on your season having the best twist. Loved the twins twist. Did you guys ever suspect them for a moment? It was funny watching them switch in the DR and then go back in the house and everyone just go on with your conversations and whatever. Plus Cowboy and Nakomis you had twists all over the place.

Will, welcome to the best BB Blog on the net. Great job, stepping in for Jun. Hope we hear more from you.

You have always been one of my favorite all time BB players. And love you on LOGO too. Obviously I really am a fan.

Like the others, I can't agree about Chima, but you certainly have a right to your opinion and you won't see any of us trashing you for it at the Dish.

So glad you were right about Jeff or Russell winning the comp. They were my picks too. Both are great eye candy, and I'm all about eye candy. That's why I put you in my Top 10 all time BB Favorite List.
:-p~~

Really hope we hear more from you.

Hiya Will! Great blogging! :) Chima certainly has the determination to be in the game with more than just words unlike a lot of the other HGs this season.

As for twists... I would prefer no twists that involve past HGs playing with current HGs, or bringing people back after they were evicted. Actually, I would enjoy watching a season or regular people who either are all fans of the game or have no idea about the game without twists or interference.

Hi Will! Welcome to dishyworld! ;)

C'mon, noms already!? Who's he putting up with Ron? (please be Jessie or Natalie)

I am hoping Jeff gets the Coup D'Etat (and I DO believe he can keep it quiet) and that he respects Russ's noms, leaves them alone and uses it next week.

Have a great week end everyone.:)

Hi Will! Nice to hear from you and great blog!

Good insight, however, I would like to see NO twists for a change.

Don't agree about Chima. I just think she has enough insight to calm down for a bit. I think she could be a very loose cannon.

Agree about Jeff. Even like Russell at the moment, just hope he uses his own judgement for the nominations.

Don't want to see a playa getting played!

Both of those are great ideas, Genie.

I love the idea of all of the houseguests in a season having to pass a 50 question quiz about the previous 11 seasons of BB so only the most hardcore of the hardcore get in the house. I am a little bummed when I hear houseguests mention that they've never heard of the show and were approached by a casting agent. Those people don't seem to understand just how lucky they are!

On the flipside it would be interesting to see a house full of people that don't know the jury starts when there are 9 people left or that the HoH comp that determines the final 9 is always endurance. Watching a bunch of people that were as confused and intrigued as we were when season 2 started or when the veto was introduced in season 3 would be a fun, fresh take on the show.

What's old is new again, right? ;)

It scares me that Jordan doesn't know common things and her volcabulary is so limited.

I still like her but she is one guilable girl.

It amazes me how 3 different groups of people looking at the same thing have a completely different take on how thins actually happened.

Eliminating Jessie with the Coup d'Etat would ground Natalie's and Ronnie's game to a halt.

People not mentioned going on the block this week:

Chima
Jeff
Jordan

Jessie thinking that last years HG's fans would vote for him because how he was so unfairly treated last years is laughable. Everyone and America hated him last year and no one will vote for Natalie.

Kevin and Lydia are still clueless. Their thought process borders on delusional.

I see a Chima and Lydia fight or a Natalie and Lydia fight after the nominations.

Will, thank you for your blog. It's fun to see the take past HG have on a new season of HG. You mentioned Lydia & one thing on Thurs show that really creeped me out was when she went to Jessie's room & watched him sleeping while wondering what he was dreaming about. It was almost a "Fatal Attraction" moment!

Thanks again for your contribution & look forward to your next blog.

Anon @ 5:11 P.M. -

CBS/Big Brother does not set up the black woman to be a bad person.

They don't set up anyone to be a bad person.

Everyone is responsible for their own "ACTIONS" in the house. They set themselves up.

You know, I think that is a slightly unfair characterization of CBS and the BB producers, I don't see it that way at all. I respect the opinion, but here is why I disagree...

1. The people here base their interests and fave's on what we see on the Live Feeds, unedited, not the heavily edited shows that CBS airs 3 times a week, which I do not have shown Chima in a bad light at all.

2. I know that I, as well as multiple other people have genuine respect and admiration for Chima and have said as much on multiple occasions.

3. It isn't that no here is completely against Chima, it's just that more people right now are pulling for people like Jeff and Jordan because they are really sweet together, naturally likable, and have become sort of the underdogs at this point in the game.

I would love to meet Chima one day, hang out with her and have a nice long talk about anything under the blue sky. She isn't hated by any means, and isn't being portrayed in any bad way or image.

That's just my own take, my own personal observation.

Hey Will Thank you for the great blog and insight. Loved your season twist, it was a good one!

Chima does have some good qualities, but they tend to get overlooked when she hangs around and acts like Jessie/Natalie, IMHO.

So glad to see some different, hopefully actions in the house and maybe some nervous nillies...Jessie/Natalie/Ronnie. Hopefully some of Cassie's speech will stick and people will start looking around.

Okay, back to the crutches (wow, forgot how much they hurt to use!) Thanks again to Carolyn and all who contribute for such a great site!

I am not sure what you mean about CBS/Big Brother "always making the black woman a bad person"? How does one do that? I suppose on a reality show if you only see the show, yes, the network can make someone seem like someone they're not, but that's what I love so much about BB. We always see the REAL person, 24/7 when we have the feeds, and the show can't do anything about that. Right?

Anon 5:11 - "Chima is a great person but i think CBS/Big Brother wants to always make the black woman a bad person!!!"

Really? Like they want to make Jordan the dumb blonde? Nah! Chima has earned her status with all her divaness and early outbursts and that speech! But I don't think anyone really thinks she's a bad person, just a spoiled diva. Nothing wrong with that. My point is I don't think anyone hates her because she's black. Well, there are always some unfortunately, but ya get my drift.

Hey, were all entitled to our opinion.

Great job Will! I agree with others that it'd be nice to hear more from you. Thanks for filling in for Jun.

I actually might find Chima more likeable if she wasn't tied in with Jesse and Nat so much. She's very personable when she's with Russell or just hanging with others.

I was super surprised by her resolve in that comp. last night. I'm actually thrilled that Russell seems to be very respectful of what it took for Jordan, Michelle and Chima to last as long as they did.

I Just think that the portrayal of black women on the show has been negative, usually bb portrays them as a Diva!! or i should say an Angry Black Woman!! and the one time they didnt portray that with BB8's Jameka they mad fun of her religion which was not cool, but you be a ditzy blonde like Jordan and Everyone loves you. Its Just not right!!

We can agree to disagree about Chima - she is not my favorite but she's not my most disliked either! :)

For twists, I'm with everyone else, no twist other than strangers (that are from all over the States) playing the game. Real people, not models, not actors, not all from California...I think you see my point :)

Hope to see your thoughts here again !!

Chima could have come into the game and not said a word, people were going to hate and dislike her.

No matter what she does or what she says, the way she lives her life would not meet the approval of most of the commentators on this site.

One outburst and she was labelled the angry diva with an attitude problem and she should be thankful that she has been given this opportunity to be on Big Brother.

Everyone jumped to liking Lydia the first couple of weeks because she was an outcast with tattoos but they didn't realize that she was a two faced, smack talking wimp psycho with no game. She still got the benefit of the doubt amongst most commentators who overlooked her obvious weakness.

Anon 5:11, I totally understand where you're coming from BUT i do not agree with you saying CBS always tries to make the black woman a bad person.

I understand where your coming from ...for example:
Chima made a very SOUND, sincere and important speech during the first eviction show and A LOT of people where up in her ass....saying things like worst speech ever, angry black woman, black women are always trouble (TRUST ME i saw this on youtube) etcetera....well guess what? CASEY!!!! a 41 year old TEACHER made a completely ridiculous and childish speech and a lot of people were rooting him on...they were saying things like .....WOAHHH RIDE ON CASEY, gooooood job, wonderful speech, best speech in big brother history......?!?!?!??! I was shocked because it was ridiculous and pathetic lol

Anon 5:11....I can only agree with you if you can re-word your comment, CBS does NOT always make the black woman look bad; everyone is entitled to whatever personality they want to potray on tv. People may see it as being b**tchy and others may see it as something else.

IMO Chima has a beautiful personality and I dont see all the negatives most people say about her

This blog was freakin hilarious!!

And yes, I do like chima. People are so quick to write her off just because of one or two slip ups. The same kind of slip ups that everyone else in that house are guilty of. However, Chima is stoned with hate. Just like after the competition where Dan from last season came everyone in the house was saying how it was a bummer bcs everyone was being mean to one another but if you watch the show they only showed chima being mean. That was not right.

Also, on thurdays show, Jordan was in the DR calling ronnie a bad word and people thought it was the cutest and funniest thing. When Chima merely restated what braden called lydia and kevin, the world was in a uproar.

Come on people, you do not have to like Chima but do not single her out over things that all the house guest are guilty of.
