Natalie's chatting with Chima in the Haves Room, and she's very happy with the song choices today, n'Sync and Justin Timberlake, saying, "What's next? I win PoV and the magic power?"
Lydia, Michele and Jeff are in the bathroom getting camera ready for the PoV Player choosing...
Natalie's walking around the house singing, ♫ Baby bye bye bye.

Ronnie's in the bathroom, playing his silent dejected role to perfection.
Ronnie leaves the Bathroom and heads into the storage room to whisper with Natalie... He's confident the PoV will be more mental than physical. Natalie tells him in the event he doesn't win, they're going to give Russell a heads up that they will not be voting him out, so he has the opportunity to replace Lydia should he so choose.
Ronnie mentions that he spoke to Michele about the situation, and Natalie chastises him, telling him not to bring her in on anything until after the PoV.

Ronnie goes to work on Michele's vote to keep him.
Ronnie: If there's anything you want to know about what happened during my HoH week, please don't be afraid to ask me... It is true that Russell brought me diet coke and a bowl of fruit, but I didn't eat the fruit...
Ronnie continues to tell the tale of Russell's coming to him during his HoH week, mostly truthful, to Michele...
Ronnie: Going into last week, when Jessie was HoH, knowing that he didn't want me out...
Michele: Last week when I asked you if you had a deal with anyone, you told me you didn't.
Michele is gently challenging him on all of his inconsistencies...
Ronnie: Well, I apologize for that. To me a deal is something like "us to the final x." Everything else is semantics...
Michele: You're very semantics... If all you had said at that time was somthing was happening... but you were obviously keeping things from me.
Ronnie: I wanna go ahead and say mea culpa on that... The only thing I was even told was that pretty much half the house wanted me out, and Jessie wasn't puttin game up.
Michele: The problem I have with you is that you're not honest in the moment, you're honest afterwards. It's easy to be honest afterwards.
Ronnie keeps pluggin' away.
Ronnie: I just want you to know, you're not the odd person out, by any means. If anything, I'm the odd person out. The reason the me, Jessie, Chima and Natalie thing happened was because they were the 1st people to talk game to each other, and I was the 1st person to talk game with Jessie outside of the athletes... It wasn't some big clandestine thing.... The 1st week, Jessie asked me who I wanted to go up, and I said I didn't know, but I said I definitely didn't want you or Chima up, because you're in my group... I'm tryin to think.. I'm really trying to rack my brains to see if there's anything else, however miniscule.. (long pause) The only lie I've told is really about the vote... When you ask about the deal, I didn't consider that a lie, but I can see how you think it would be, and I apologize for that.
Ronnie continues, but more interesting than his words is Michele's closed off body language. Arms crossed, fists closed.. Her body suggests that she's not buying a word of it.

Their banter is familiar, comfortable and flirty... because Natalie's out of earshot.
Jessie leaves, and Lydia can't wipe the smile from her face. I can't help but wonder if Jessie was being sincere with her, or if it was a pre-PoV game move to lull her into a sense of comfort, so she doesn't try to win.

As Russell's about to leave, Jeff asks if he's going up to HoH. He says yes and asks Jeff if he wants to come up. Jeff says he will in just a few minutes.
Jeff: I wanna see Casey's face when he figured out he forgot his cigarettes...

Talk turns to the magical power. Jessie thinks it's Jeff or Jordan. Russell says he'll try to find out from Jeff...
Russell's explains his methodology of key placement during the Nomination Ceremony - he put the girls' names first, because if he hadn't they'd read too much into it.
They move on to Lydia....
Russell: She's so worried... She's like, do you think Jessie's gonna keep Ronnie over me? I'm like, hell no.
Jessie: Hell no. She has no ambition to win... Neither does Kevin.. It just sucks because she's the one trying to make a wedge between us...
Russell: Oh, I know.. and so many people fill your head with so much sh-t...
Jessie: how safe do you feel next week...
Jessie makes a play for Jeff, saying he would put Russell up against Ronnie next week... Russell diverts, saying Jeff's really in a hard place, trying to make friends...
Jessie: What I'm saying is, when you guys were up there, if it had been you n me, we would've come to a deal on the 1st try... He took way too long with that...
Russell: He wears his heart on his sleeve.. He wanted to keep Jordan safe... and he really liked Casey..
Jessie: I think he voted for Casey.
Russell: I do too.

Russell continues subtly batting for Jeff's integrity and longevity...
Russell says he'll work on Jeff and Jordan over the next 2 days. Jessie says that leaves him Michele -
Russell: Michele really wants him gone... She hates him. She was afraid that anything she told you, you'd use against her and take her out. I think we can get her, and work with her.
**Russell repeats several times how excoted Michele is by the prospect of Ronnie's departure.
Talk turns to Jordan, and her ultimate Pawn potential... Jessie lives in fear of being on the block next to her.
Russell: After this week, my little deal with Jeff is done. Jeff, Jordan, Kevin, then Lydia.. Those are our next four. We just have to take them out one at a time.
Jessie: The dumbest thing would be to put them up at the same time... If you're up against Jordan, you're going home. All Jordan has to do is make a speech, "I know why I'm up, so the other person goes home."
Russell: Has anone else ever been in that position?
Jessie: Oh yeah... and if she gets to the final 2, it's over man.. Congratulations, Jordan, you just won 500k for doing nothing.. You can get 500 more boob jobs.
***The question is this: Which one of them is doing a better job of blowing smoke up the other's bum right now?
Russell: So do you think it's better to just keep Kevin and Lydia in the mix? Instead of Jeff and Jordan...
Jessie backtracks... saying Kevin's been too close to winnig a couple more times than he finds cozy... Then they go back to the magical mystery power.
Russell: Do you think it's gonna be one of those things like, pack your bags, your gone?
Jessie: If it is, I'll use it immediately. I'll be all, hey Kevin, what're you doin' today? Really? Go pack your bags...

Jessie seeks clarification on Russell's deal with Jeff. Did it include backdooring? Russell says the deal is Jeff and Jordan are completely safe.
Jessie's spinning a web so convoluted that my fingers are tripping over themselves. Russell gets it, and says he'll talk to Jeff.. Worse case scenario, if Ronnie comes down, he'll just put up Jordan.
Russell: What else is goin on here?
Jessie: I haven't talked to Lydia in 2 days..

Michele: Do you have a better read on him?
Chima: No. I wish I did. That's the problem. You know that speech Russell gave yesterday at the nomination Ceremony? Ronnie swears up and down that he said none of that...

Chima: Russell's a pretty string manipulator himself.

I must have missed the conversation last night where Natalie and her group decided to tell Russell their plan of not voting our Ronnie if he doesn't win so Russell can do as he chooses.
I really hope she is serious about that! I would hope then that Russell would realize he needs to put up Jessie and ONLY Jessie.
I personally would rather see Jessie out over Ronnie. That entire group would fall apart without him. Ronnie can talk game all he wants in the JH, most HG's are over their own emotions and vote fairly at the end anyhow.

I don't really think there is a fallout between Jessie and Lydia ... there is a Natalie between Jessie and Lydia. He just picked Natalie because it's better strategically and apparently money is more important to him than hand jobs. Oh, and because he's a tool.

Jane - The HGs have been bandying the word "bi-polar" around. I don't recall ever hearing Michele saying she was bi-polar. Though these HGs might not be as out there as ones in previous seasons, they have much to keep you occupied.

Besides gameplay, is there a personal reason I am forgetting that Chima has is out for Lydia?
diane - not 100% sure, but i don't think jessie and lydia had a falling out as much as he has just distanced himself from her and thrown her under the bus since, in his mind, she can't help his game play as much as he perceives nat can. toni, i totally agree with you that russell needs to get jessie out this week. his renom could possibly reveal him to be the smartest player in the house. or NOT, depending on who he puts up.
I hope that Russie has the idea to get Jessie out as well! Because at this point I can not see another way of ridding us of Jessie or that crew of his! I mean to cut off the head of the snake is the best! Lordy! I with everyone in not liking Ronnie but in the end he could be tossed out or kept until the end to insure that Jordan or Jeff won!

I do believe it is in Michele's best interest to get Ronnie out this week. I'll gain more respect for her if she votes against him. I know she's smart, I'm just afraid that she'll be afraid to go against that side.

After listening to all that junk last night, I really think the only way to ensure Ronnie goes home is for Lydia to come off the block.
Then Russell puts up Jessie to sit next to Ronnie.
Even if Jessie goes home, it's still good.

Here's my take on the Michelle swing vote problem. I really can't see her keeping Ronnie. Remember her diary room session, which is their true feelings, when she gave him the thumbs down during casey's speech. She really doesnt like his manipulating and wont be able to get over that lack of trust hump. I don't think she will feel safe enough as the 5th wheel in the ronnie/jessie/gnat/chima "alliance" - she even said to someone that she was the last to be invited, which usually means the fist to go.
i think she would see more benefit in taking him out, which should solidify ronnie going. but of course he could win the pov plus there is a lot of time left. even if jessies gang does pull it off and keep ronnie, it will be fun to watch russell and jessie battle next week. To be honest i dont think jessie has the balls to risk that so if ronnie doesnt save himself i again think jessie will decide to go with the get ronnie out - it would be too stupid to puposely make those waves.
and again, i dont think russell has told jessie the same story about his dad's lesson that he told jeff so as of now, im liking the momentum in the house. it was really difficult to enjoy the jesse rattie nattie and ronnie show. chima is actually getting a little better but her diva/entitlement personality is completely off-putting. lydia is a wreck and just needs to fade away. i think kevin is good for the game and jeff/jordan are just enjoyable to watch, but im a little worried that the wont be able to pull through because they arent as strong as others in the game. jeff would really benefit from teaming up with russ/michelle.

So if they picked this early and didn't lock down until almost 5am, it can't be too physical. Although it could be guess the number of something. Ronnie has a chance but so does Michelle.
I can't wait to see if Ronnie stays on the block and Nat/Jess/Chima inform Russell they won't vote him out. I'd hope he'd say something to Jeff about the possibility. Russell should be smart at that point, realize he's lower than Ronnie with them and put one of them up. If not, then Jeff can put one of them up. I'd rather Russell do it so Jeff can use the Coup next week.
Seriously, they plan on telling him they're keeping Ronnie? Are they stupid? That will be the proof Russell needs that his alliance will dump him first chance they get and he needs to flip this house and align with Jeff, Michelle etc.

I was aggravated watching Chima last night along w/ Jessie & Natalie in the HOH w/ Russell. I really, really hope that Russell has caught on to them & isn't still under the impression these people are aligned with him. From the conversation he had w/ Jeff yesterday I got some hope that he is more aware than he is letting on that he needs to make a move to power away from them. But, I have to agree w/ Lydia when she told him he did not make a "ballsy" enough move. Instead of putting her up he should have put up Natalie or Jessie. And, that kind of tells me he more afraid of making that kind of move rather than possibly putting a target on his back. Putting out Jessie this week would be wiser. Russell is afraid for Ronnie to make it to the J/H cuz he'll manipulate people while there. I don't think that is as big a thing as Russell thinks. J/H people are not so easily swayed since they aren't competing anymore & have time to calm down over their eviction & most do not vote on emotion but realize game play. Last year was a perfect example. Many HG felt betrayed by Dan but then voted for him to win because they realized he was the better player.

As much as I want Jessie gone this week (just for spite so he wouldn't make the jury house), things are looking like they will work just fine for the good guys.
Assuming Jeff wins the magical powers and assuming Russ is believing his father is telling him to work with Jeff, the house has already started the flip.
I think Michele's mind is already made up and she was true in her word to Russ. She isn't buying Ronnie's bs, just listening and letting him bury himself and his "team" even more.
So, votes to oust Ronnie are Jeff, Jordan, Michele. Kevin's the swing vote and I think he'll come around to realize power has shifted and vote to save Lydia too.
Then, Jeff would be smart (assuming his magical power comes true) to NOT use it this week, but wait until next week and use it if he needs to to get Jessie/Natalie out.
So, don't know why everyone even cares what Jessie, Natalie, Chima do this week. I see Kevin as the one to worry about.

bbfanatic007, i have been trying to do the same thing. it was at lessa's site, bigbrother craze. as someone else noted on here, it's been down since yesterday sometime mid morning. i did go back and listen to it on flashback and couldn't really connect anything he said to siding with jeff, maybe it's just game play on russell's part? who knows.
Isn't this the time of the season where they typically do that veto comp about how far would you go? I'm talking about the comp where they ask you how much prize money you'd give up, how many days you'd go on slop, if you'd shave your head, etc.?
If it's one of those then there's a very good chance that Ronnie could win.
I'm pretty sure when you fart poop particles don't get in the air as i'm sure your undies would capture it all - like a cotton filter!
As for pink eye - i was always under the impression its cause by not washing your hands properly (bacteria)and rubbing your eyes.

I didn't hear it, but I can tell you I'm 99% positive Michele wasn't being literal. Minor mood swings is not bi-polar disorder. I would be surprised if they put anyone on the show with bi-polar disorder, even if medicated. MAYBE someone who has been medicated and stable for many many years. But the depression and mania can be far too extreme for this show. When depressed people are incapacitated and when manic do very extreme things, including self harm. For insurance purposes alone they would stay away from that, as well as a diagnosed psychosis like schizophrenia.
Really, the one with the most extreme mood swings in the house is Jessie. But he's not bi-polar either, just a self indulgent brat. Lydia and Chima are just emotional and very open. They wear it on their sleeves. That's not illness, just annoying.
My armchair certainly seems to be out now!
I have to say, Russell gets the cutest giggle about farts! I mean, it's so natural to fart, but his giggle is contagious! LOL
I also have to say, I really think Russell's real target is Jessie. He's pushing for Ronnie too hard. I'm wrong too often, but I have a gut feeling on this one. And wishful thinking!
I am not confident that Michelle will vote Ronnie out, even if she knows its best for her. I keep remembering that time when Ronnie screwed them all, after Braden left, she was in absolute panic mode. "They know we tried to screw them, and now they have the power." The look on her face was sheer terror.
Someone needs to use that veto and Russell needs to nom one of them.

Jessie is one of the only people in the house that prays. Can we not paint him in a bad light for doing so? I don't think there is anything wrong with him praying over the veto. This is their lives! I don't understand why it was necessary to cast doubt on him for praying. We get that this site does not like him or Natalie, but can we not bash the guy for praying? It is offensive to me.
Wendy, when it comes to praying and religion I have to admit I am not very religious myself.
I honestly believe their is something out there but it is way above me to know what or who it is so I will just accept that as it comes.

Then we can have Ronnie & Jess/Nat gone! Say Jess/Nat because it doesn't matter to me which one goes, just break up the pair and they are then powerless!

Carolyn, I understand that you have nothing against people praying. But that comment really does make light of his relationship with God. And I don't believe that is something anyone should do just because we don't like the guy. Perhaps you are unaware that it comes off in that way to some people.
Honestly, it's not so much the fact that he's praying probably, but just that Jessie is the one doing it and we don't like HIM.

The Russ Jeff talk and his dad's "message" are just my interpretation/intuition, but it seemed genuine in a non-game sort of way. I really think you cant take the person out f game lie and experiences for granted. I think russ really realizes his relationship with jesse is beneficial for the game but there may not be a deep level of respect for him otherwise. Can you blame him?
Also, he knows he is not as tight with jessie/gnat/ronnie as they make him believe so it is in his best interest to have a plan B, which is jeff, et al.
I would be very curious to see if he would nominate jesse or natalie to preserve ronnie going home, and if he does that, what the effect would be. Finally the game gets interesting. Vote for Jeff!!

Ronnie is not actually a teacher, and apparently just an undergrad (after a number of years teachers needs a Masters in most states, which I would assume Casey has, though I'm guessing). A forensics team member and Ohio University student is hoping that his careful preparation and a natural gift for gab will help him win this season's "Big Brother" show.
Ohio University senior and education major Ronnie Talbott, 30, is one of 12 "house guests" on the show, which starts tonight on CBS.
The reality show, in its 11th season, has contestants live in the Big Brother House, where they are isolated from the outside world -- no television or other communication devices are allowed, yet they are under the constant watch of house cameras. The goal is to avoid eviction -- house guests regularly vote least-popular members out of the house -- with the last guest winning a $500,000 prize at the end of the season in September.
"He has loved that show from the very first season," said Talbott's mother, Charlene Talbott. "This is a dream come true for him. He was so excited when they gave him that house key. He's been trying to get on the show for four years."
Talbott plans to use skills he honed as a member of the forensics team at Ohio University to avoid eviction.
"He plans to be very strategic in his approach," said Dan West, the John A. Cassese Director of Forensics. "We talked about the strategy. He analyzed the last 10 seasons of the show, and looked at what works and what doesn't. He found that people have a lot of problems when they take things personally."
Talbott had to go through multiple interviews to be selected as a guest, West and Charlene Talbott said. Those interviews occurred in Columbus, Cleveland, Memphis, Tenn., and Los Angeles.
Talbott, a Belpre resident who transferred to Ohio University from Marshall University in West Virginia, plans to be a high school teacher after he graduates this year. His wife, Michelle Dye Talbott, is a teacher at Parkersburg South High School.
Talbott has a variety of interests that range from acting to teaching.
"Ronnie is a very gregarious, very outgoing person," Charlene Talbott said. "Ever since he was a young person, he gravitated to a variety of personalities. His friends and associates range from athletic jocks to geeks."
Charlene Talbott said in addition to being on the forensics team, Talbott has also participated in community theater productions.
Charlene Talbott said the family will be having a Big Brother party this evening to watch Talbott on the show. The show starts tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.

I have no problem with people praying in the house, but like Russell, I hate when people use religion in the game.
Also, like Carolyn mentioned he's not the only one praying in the house. Why should his prayers be so much more "worthwhile".
And finally, most people on this site form an opinion on the "players" by their day to day (or minute to minute actions), just like in life. People's true character really comes out in this game. That's probably why so many people (not just on this site) like Jeff and Jordan. Most would actually like them outside of the house.

re: Jessie praying -- I respect and admire anyone who incorporates their religion and faith in prayer into all aspects of their life, but in the case of Jessie, the obvious hypocrisy of being belligerent to even the unseen crew of BB, and his whole demeanor on both seasons he's been in the public eye, is what makes some of us roll our eyes. Maybe it's a little twist on "practice what you preach".
Wesley....I don't think the winner could put Jessie on the block, if he won the veto. He and the HOH would be the only ones safe from the Coup.
