Big Brother 12: Did CBS Publicity Reveal the 1st BB12 HoH?
Good Morning, Big Brother lovers! Happy 3 days til BB12!!
3 days left til BB12 means 2 days left of the 29.99 Early Bird Special on the Live Feeds. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of it ASAP, get in there, get accustomed to the brand new set up, and start watching Chelsia's extensive, in depth interviews with the BB12 HGs.
In a surprise move yesterday, CBS Publicity posted a pic of the HGs in their bathing suits around the swimming pool. I noticed the obvious - who's buff, who's got a farmer tan, who's sporting tats, etc... Another disher, SandeeBeaches, took it a step further.
Hmm! So I went to look again, and sure enough, Annie's hand is grasped pretty tightly around something... and what's over her middle finger? On further inspection, the soft spoken, tribal tattooed Lane seems to have a grasp on something too...
Has CBS Publicity inadvertently announced the 1st HoH of Big Brother 12? What do you think? DogDaveBB thinks that's a no! One thing's for sure.. We'll find out on the feeds come Thursday night! :0)Someone just pointed out in the comment section that Annie's wearing a ring in her interview with Chelsia, so that explains the thing on her middle finger.
Anyhow... it remains idle speculation that we'll have real answers to on Thursday night! :)Over the weekend, @zap2itAndrea posted her interview with Lane. I found him to be surprisingly soft spoken and genuinely likeable.

I'm not sure about Lane's hand. It could just be the way he poses. I tend to do something similar when I pose (without nails)... Kathy is definitely grasping something. I did a lot of zooms but of course they pixilate so it's difficult to tell.
She's holding something but first thing I thought of was a pack of cigarettes.... The again, I would think for a posed picture those would not be in her hand.

itsagame - gooood morning! it's not a sure thing - just some speculation based on the photo... :) let the BB begin!!
I should change my name to "Shameless Sam" because here is my two cents (maybe three) on getting the feeds...
1. Big Brother is NOT "Big Brother" without the ability to see them 24/7. Television only? Sooo NOT exciting!
2. $29.99 is CHEAP for an entire summer's entertainment. My hubby and I would rather keep up on them, (our "lil rats" is what we call 'em), than buy a $12, per person, movie ticket. Those summer greats that are all out now can just wait to be seen on DVD. HA!
3. I get my money BACK in just music downloads alone! (Love that too!)
4. (Oops - I am at four cents! lol) Last, but certainly NOT least... I WANT US TO GET THE CHAT WITH JANELLE AND CHELSIA TOO!!!!
So, if anyone plans on getting the feeds? Early bird, through Carolyn, is the cheapest, (and most rewarding!!!), way to go baaaaby!!!!

I couldn't go through a summer without them and I'd never get them any place but from right here.
The 30 free songs over the summer is more than worth it for me anyway. I've been waiting to DL new music I need for shows for about 6 weeks now, knowing this is coming. No matter where I get them they are 99 cents a DL so I'm looking at it as paying for 30 in advance rather than one hit on the debit card at a time via Amazon.
I want that live chat with Chelsia and Janelle too.

Not sure what she is holding but I like Annie so if she is the first HOH I have no problem with that.
I need advice. I can watch the interviews perfectly fine on Superpass but trying watch any Flashback it launches the Real Player externally and tells me to sign up for 14 day trial. I already have my 3 month early bird subscription, through this site of course, and since I'm already logged in on their site it should know that on the player.
Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

I'm taking a computer break for a bit this morning but before I go, I have to find a way to make this about me, naturally.
I'm sure those that don't follow me on Twitter or Facebook can imagine how I feel about the oil spill disaster in the Gulf and I find very little to laugh about in the whole situation but this one gave me a good giggle yesterday. When I needed it most.
Thibodeaux and Boudreaux went to get hired to clean up after the oil spill. The boss man told them to head to the marshes and to clean the pelicans. The Boss came later to see how they were doing. They were proud: They got 34 of 'em plucked, cleaned, injected with seasoning ; the onions cut;oil heating up to get started on the cooking. BP announced they will no longer hire Cajuns to help in the cleanup.
I have to thank and give credit to my great friend and drag sister Tittie Toulouse for posting that on Facebook.

I have a question. I want to get the feeds, I dont remember what to deal was with the website. Is it a website that I Log into or do I have to download ot to my computer. I want to be able to watch from wherever I am so..plusss do you know if I can watch on my phone??

I am still trying to get the bugs worked out for the feeds..spent most of the day yesterday on the phone with them..If I can`t access flashback now am I good to go on Thursday? Non BB fans understand my fears.
I hope Annie is NOT the HoH. I really like her and am hoping she doesn't get 1st HoH cause I would not wanna see a target on her back so early, like SimplySam said.
I hope Chelsia gets the rest of the HG's interviews up today so I can watch the rest of them.

I too, am not able to get the flashbacks working properly from my new Win 7 laptop.
I called India three times about this issue with no resolution and even blurted out a couple stellar swear words at the second techie, who thought it would be funner to repeatedly interrupt me with inane, unrelated, questions, than to actually listen to me.
I gave up. Glad all tech support at RP are not like that blemished gem. Heh.
So, I am just looking forward to the new, web browser based, flashbacks from the *bites nails in anticipation* new season, BB12.
Then, if I still have issues with the flashback feature? I will allow the gray hairs to spring out of my scalp. Even though a three techs said this has been an issue and assured me it will NOT be when we go live. (We'll see... I have done all I can thus far.)
A girl has to be careful about who she lets give her add'l gray hairs, ya know? *grins*
P.S. I have yet to try logging in from my Win XP desktop and seeing if it is just a x64 vs. x32 issue.
It may be as simple as a glitch with the new Win7??? Not sure.
And... as long as you were able to access everything else, Chelsia's interviews, etc., the two GOOD techies said I will have no problems when they go live Thurs.
They sure are pimping Chrome in a BIG way though. I am stubborn and staying with my Firefox. Ha. ☺

I'm beginning the couch to 5k training program & for my first workout, in honor of the BB exercise-option-starved houseguests, I performed my first workout doing laps in my backyard. Thankfully my yard is a bit bigger than the BB one!

I also have Windows 7 and can not stand it! I can only use the 64 bit browser and Flash does not work with it. Flash only works with the 32 bit browser and that goes non responsive within 2 minutes on opening it up. Firefox also stops responding. It's beyond frustrating!
I want to have it looked at but not now...I am afraid I won't get it back in time for Thursday and I need my VPN for work.

I don't think either are hiding anything. I looked down at my own hand and realized I was leaning on it in a similar fashion to how Annie is sitting. I really hope she's not HOH. Didn't she say she didn't want to be HOH first? Everything is blurred for me. lol

I was having problems with flashback also. I actually got someone thst knew what they were doing...here is how I fixed mine..
1..go to flashback to the page that says you have to be purchase real..
2..Click on help on top of page..
3..click on sign in
4..sign in again..
5..it should start working..mine did...good luck
you can go to real.com and servicereal.com for other problems

I can live with no season 10/11 flashbacks as long as they don't mess with season 12!!!

I LOVE Win 7 and my flash works beautifully in it. There have been some recent upgrades with Flash AND Firefox though that you may want to check in to...
I also run System Mechanic Pro by iolo on my baby to keep it purring smoothly. I've been using it for over three years now. It watches over EVERYTHING for me, keeping my computer from spazzing out with registry changes, spyware & virus intercepting, fast defrags, etc. Love it too!
The previous season flashbacks are the ONLY issue I have (and I can't positively confirm it is a x64 issue) and the techies confirmed they have been flooded with calls about MANY others having the same issues... not just with Win 7.

I am not happy that others are having the same problem but am relieved that I am not the only one.
I also have win 7 but a rude tech guy told me that the feeds cannot be used with foxfire or google chrome.
I am going to try miz jones advice now.
I am on a week's vacation and should be enjoying the the pre BB season instead of trying to get a tech to help me...sorry for the rant
who knows wht it really is, but ugh why wudnt it start on tuesday or wednesdy, or yesterday, or never have to end
Hey everyone! Thank you for being here! I'm juggling more balls than usual this morning... Be back in a bit! :)
One thing though... I've been running the new set up in both Chrome and Firefox, and I've had no problems with either.
Flashback, the Feeds and all the Extra BB related programming that's for Big Brother 12 will be viewed using the new interface that you arrive at when you click to get the feeds.
In order to view flashback for Big Brother 10 and Big Brother 11, you'll still need to do it the old way, through the RealPlayer download that most of you still have... and everyone can get.
When you open the downloaded RP, it may tell you you need to get the feeds. If you already have, then click on sign in... and sign in. :)
Problems fixed...I`m in. Now I can relax and watch the bio`s. Sick feeling in the pit of my stomach is gone. I was really stressing out.

my feeds are working just fine...i use firefox....BUT...the difference may be that i didnt stop my monthly subscription thru-out the yr? so i didnt have to re-signup......
sooooooready for the season of sleepless nites running back & forth from my tv to my live feeds .....viva le drama!

I must give credit to my Husband for seeing that though. You see, he is just as big of a fan of BB as I am BUT he doesn't have time for the blog, the feeds (only when it's juicy and I tell him to get his butt in here NOW), or BBAD - again only if we know something good is going to happen! He doesn't have a Twitter account and just signed into his Facebook account yesterday after a 2 month "break". LOL He saw that she was clenching something - a key? her ring? just the way she is sitting? We get to find out in 3 (THREE! YAY) days! :)

Thanks Pamela, this worked for me, sort of, it closed Firefox then stalled then I got back into it and it was fine expect it's running slow. I'm getting audio fine but the video in not moving. I'm not going to fault Real on this, yet, because I have a dinosaur of a computer.
I've said it every year so now's a good a time as any. I hate Real. I wish there was some other way to watch BB.

Sorry you're having issues with the older seasons flashback. You'll need to launch the RP download to access those, and if it gives you any trouble, telling you that you need to sign up, just find the sign in option, and sign in so the download recognizes you. :)

Okay, my first issue with Chrome...I can't play the vid you posted of Lane's interview in this post. I can view it fine in Firefox. I reinstalled Java, because I had no idea what else to do. LOL It didn't change a thing. Anyone got any ideas for me?

I know, I was saying that there were 14 photos/key slots in season 11 and now also in season 12. There were only 13 houseguests last season as well, but there was still an extra photo same as this year so I don't think we should read too much into there being a 14th this year...
