Good afternoon, BB Lovers! As we join our HGs, pre-nomination ceremony on the live feeds, Britney's not keen on talking to Brendon. She's been playing keep away, and has now accepted Matt's assistance as room blocker...
Downstairs, to the various rooms...
Britney: Hey I'm telling everybody I'm up in my room if you wanna come talk...
1:30pm BBTMatt offers and comes upstairs to act as defense, so Brendon wont be able to speak to her alone. Up they go.
Britney: I don't wanna talk to him. Like, what am I supposed to say?
Matt: Can I read your letter?
Britney: Sure... Oh, I miss him a lot..
Talk turns back to Brendon.
Britney: What do you think is the best thing for me to do with him?
Regarding Enzo, Matt advises her to just say that he's never been on the block, coulda been anybody..
Britney: SO what to I say to the Brendouche?
Matt: Assuming he's going to say, we have a deal, right? So you can be like yeah, it's as good as the one you made with Matt... and leave it like that. What are you gonna say at the nomination ceremony? To Brendon?
Britney: I think I'm gonna say, Brendon, I pride myself as a person who tries to play strategically, and strategically, you suck. You made a deal with every single person last week, and you broke almost all of them. But for me, this is also personal. Consider this a gift to my fiance Nick, about whom you said such terrible things... and who would like nothing more than to see you out of the house.
Matt: That's good.
Britney: Brendon, Playing this game, I like to keep in mind that emotions are abritrary, and play strategically, and strategically you suck. You made identical deals with Matt and I, and arbitrarily chose to break...
Matt: You can focus on his lack of strategy, or you can pick up on the fact that he's still playing for Rachel.
Britney: You decided to personally attack my fiance on national television, and for that, you can consider this decision to nominate you as coming directly from him...
Matt: So when he comes up here, are you gonna be straight up with him, or are you gonna make him squirm a little?
Britney: I just wanna hide out.
1:47pm BBT - Lane comes in to the HoH...
Britney: He asked to talk to me..
Lane: Who? Hayden?
Britney: No. Brendon.
Britney: Actually, I'm gonna play really nice at first, just to see who he'll throw under the bus... I'll tell him we're still cool.. See what he has to say about everyone... Did he say anything cruel about my family last night? Or any of my pictures?
Lane: I don't think so.
Britney: How do you not think so?
Lane: No, he didn't say anything. Not that I recall.
Britney: I could see him saying something like Britney's dad looks short. Nick doesn't look very tall..
Bubbles... briefly.. When we return from bubbles, Britney is gone from the HoH.
Matt: I'm gonna hang up here til nominations so I can get my $50.
Lane: Dude, you can't do that.
Matt: You guys wanna kick me out. It's all I can do to win some money in here.
Lane: I wanna see who he throws under the bus, dude.
Matt: I do too.
Lane: He told Enzo he's gonna throw you and Ragan under the bus.. Don't you wanna hear?
Matt: Yeah, but I also wanna finish my Hayden sculpture (playdoh)

Matt leaves so they can talk.
Britney: So what's up?
Brendon: Just seeing if we're still good for this week?
Britney: I'm just having a hard time making a decision.
Brendon: Are you thinking of breaking our deal?
Britney: I'm not thinking of breaking our deal, I'm just having a hard time.
Brendon: 2 of the closest people to you in the house were the 2 biggest proponents of you going up. I can't trust Matt, that's why I put him up on the block. I know you're gonna get Matt and Ragan both up here, but last week they were both pushing me to put you up. At this point, whatever happens happens. I know for me to get to f2, I'm gonna have to fight a bloody battle.
Britney: Were those the pnly people who said they wanted me up?
Brendon: There were a lot of people, but they wanted you out for the same reason they want me out - You're a big competitor.
Britney: Well, that doesn't tell me anything more.
Brendon: I'm not gonna try to butter you up. If you're gonna put me up, you're gonna put me up.
Brendon's on lather, rinse, repeat..
Britney: I now that when Matt pulled himself off last night, I would've went home last night (if you had gotten to choose).
Brendon: On the other hand, had I put you up, you wouldn't be sitting here now either, because neither Ragan nor Matt would've used the PoV on you.
Brendon: If you put me up, that's fine. It's a game. But if you break your deal with me, and I go to the jury house, that's 3 votes...
Britney: I don't want to put up anybody... I'm just trying to play strategically.
Brendon: You need to play your own game. Not for Matt and Ragan. Do you think they're gonna take you to final 3? Or all the other guys?
Britney: Nobody has tried to make final deals with me...Brendon: If you keep your deal this week, I'm going to have a lot of faith in you, and I'm going to win HoH next week, and you're definitely not gonna be my target.
Britney: There's a lot of strategic moves I could go with, and I'm just really conflicted which way to go.
Brendon brings up the pairs.. Britney says she doesn't even know who the pairs are in the house.. I feel like I'm watching a dog chase it's tail... and Britney's showing more interest in her nails.
Britney: I'm trying not to play the game personally, but it makes me really mad when I hear they were gunning for me..
Britney starts digging for things she can tell Lane that Brendon said about him. He doesn't give her anything.. This is ongoing, and bloody pointless.
8 minutes later...
Britney: No matter what I do, I'm gonna piss off 2 people. I can't just go down there and say, I've decided to nominate no one.
Brendon: You just have to think about who you can trust. Obviously, I don't trust Matt or Ragan.
Brendon reiterates about the jury house votes, safety from him next week, etc..
Britney: Well, good talk. Will you send... Hayden up? ANd I'm sorry you're a have not. Thanks Brendon..
Brendon leaves. Britney mimes shooting herself in the head.

Britney: I don't really need to talk to you. I just wanted him to leave, and i saw you in the kitchen, so I asked him to send you up...
Hayden: So you don't need to talk?
Britney: Not about anything important. Brendon just told me everyone threw me under the bus last week, everyone hates me, everyone wants me out...
Hayden asks if they're still on the same page. Britney says yes. Both voice their Matt support..
Britney: I hope I have a really easy HoH week. It's not gonna be easy, cause i have to nominate 2 people today... I just pray, pray, pray for us to win PoV...
Hayden: If anyone gets it, besides someone on the block, they wont use it.
Britney: We're gonna have a huge study session tonight. I think it's gonna be stack the blocks.. The trick to it is having fast recall... I'm gonna invite Brendon too, because i think he probably knows a lot.
Hayden: Just so you know, I want Brendon out just as much as anyone in this house.Talk turns to the jury house. Britney regrets that at the end of this week she will have 3 enemies in the jury house, whereas other people were able to maintain a friendly relationship with them.
Hayden: I'm sure he told you he's 2 votes in the jury house.
Britney: Not only that, he told me if he stays, he can control you and Enzo... But the only people he straight threw under the bus were Matt and Ragan. Brendon tells everybody what they want to hear, so it's not like I can trust anything he says.
Hayden: I just know we've been on the same page for weeks.
Britney: And that page needs to be turned... I don't think you're ever screwed. You're the last person I'd wanna be on the block against. Because I've won 3 POVs and an HoH, I'm a target. I think you're in a great spot, Hayden. Nobody wants to see you go. I definitely don't wanna see you go.
Hayden: Do you know who you're gonna put up with Brendon?
Britney: I'm just gonna try to take the easiest way out, because I don't want it to be anybody.
Bubbles...
Hayden: Does that mean I'm not goin' on the block?
Britney: I'm not allowed to speak in specific terms... See that guy behind you? (The playdoh Hayden) He's not going on the block.
Hayden touches on the subject of it being impossible for anyone to win against Matt. Britney is receptive.
Hayden: No matter who you put up there against Brendon, I'm not gonna be salty about it, unless it's me.
Britney: hahaha! Unless it's me. You're right though, in case he wins PoV, I'm not gonna risk putting up anybody who I'm not ready to see leave this house.
They move on to talking about life post Brendon, and Britney's quite aware that everyone is so focused on Brendon, no one talks about what comes next. They agree to their conversations being confidential.
Hayden: Last week, Ragan knew Lane and I were the deciding vote to save Matt, and that just kinda tell me how close..
Britney: They are...

2:59pm BBT - They have a hug and Hayden leaves to go get Lane for Britney. Hayden tells Lane. Lane goes to the Storage Room, but the batteries Britney requested aren't there yet. He heads up to HoH. Upon arrival, Britney tells him that she didn't need to talk to him. SHe just doesn't want to talk to someone else yet.
After several minutes of brother -sister talk, Britney asks...
Britney: Lane, who should I put up next to..
Lane: Next to B?
Britney: Next to the person I'm probably gonna put up.
Bubbles...
Lane: Well, if you're up there with Ragan, you have the best chance of getting off. So if that's who he's thinking he wants to put up, that's perfect. It's just bad luck that Kathy left, bt it's good luck, 'cause Matt stayed.
Britney: Who woul dyou say you're closest too in the house?
Lane: Uhh, I'm close to a lot of people. Hayden's my boy..
Britney: So if I was up against Hayden, who would you vote for?
Lane: What is this? An inquisition?
Britney: If we're in the final 4, Matt is HoH and you won PoV, who would you send home, me or Hayden?
Lane: You think I could beat you?
Britney: hmmm.
Lane: I am closest to Hayden, but I thought you meant closest to besides you. What I'd like to see happening is you, me and Hayden making the final 3. OK.. More than likely, you know if someone wins Veto, you and Ragan are going up next week.. More than likely, the person who put you up, say Enzo, can't play HoH next week.. I think Enzo kinda has an idea he's goin' up. He's not gonna take it well. He thinks if someone puts him on the block... Either way, if you put him up or not, if he wins HoH next week, he's going to put you and Ragan up. So.. you have an easy decision. And it doesn't matter, because we just can't let ND win PoV, which it's not gonna happen.
Britney: yeah. We just have to win PoV.
Talk turns back to Nick, Britney's fiance. The DR had all the guys comment about him, and did their best to get the male HGs to be unkind, especially Lane.
3:17pm BBT - Bubbles...
3:17pm BBT - Enzo comes up to HoH...
Enzo: No one's backtalkin' me right? No one's throwin' m under the bus?
Britney: No, all he said is that he can sway you... It sucks. Everybody wants the same thing this week. All this house has to do is win Veto, and that's it.
Enzo: That's it... TOmorrow's the PoV?
Britney: We're gonna study tonight, if you want in on it.
Enzo: You guys keep leaving me with that guy..
Britney: He loves you. You can come up any time, listen to music and escape it.
Enzo leaves.
Britney: That was weird. He didn't even talk to me.Lane: 'Cause I was here. I'll leave and tell him to come back up.
Britney: That's ok..
Friendly Chatter between Lane and Britney continues...
3:22pm BBT - Matt enters HoH and asks what Brendon said about him. Britney tells him Brendon threw him under the bus, hard core.
Matt: Oh, I totally was campaigning to get you up on the block, while I was holding the diamond power of veto and couldn't care less who went up.
Brendon bashing and general chatter...
Then Britney asks them for help with her speech... On to chatter about Nick, and back to bashing Brendon, all while playing with PlayDoh.
3:30pm BBT
Ragan joins Matt & Britney in HoH
She tells them that Brendon threw them both under the bus, trying to get him to put her up, and that they were really the only ones Brendon threw under the bus. (**They did.) Further, she tells them that Brendon said she was everyone's target next week... (***also true)
They both vehemently deny it, call Brendon names and bash for a few minutes. Britney buys it.
3:37pm BBT - Britney leaves to go to the DR, and Ragan and Matt continue on, as if they believe their own lies regarding the events of last week.
Ragan: Unbelievable. I'm certain the goal of all that was just to get us to respond in some way.
Matt: It's not gonna work, ya big dummy.
Ragan: (doing Brendon voice) I have 2 degrees. Uh, Brendon, having a masters in physics does not make you a physicist.
Matt: He's a big dummy. That's why I said it.
And on and on...

Ragan: Brendon, last week you said you wanted to play as if Rachel was still in the game, but since she's not, I can only nominate one of you..
Britney: That's pretty good. I don't have anything to say. I feel so worn out right now.
Matt: You look upset.
Britney: Pensive.
Matt: Isn't this a no-brainer?
Britney: I just don't want anybody to be mad at me.
Matt: I'll understand. Unless it's me.
Britney: That's what everybody says. "Unless it's me." I really don't want Brendon yelling at me again.. I don't need it at all.
Matt: Well, it'll all be over after this week. the virus will be out of this house.
Ragan: We do need to spend at least a couple of hours studying stuff today.
Britney: It's kinda like when I won PoV, I knew that even though all I did was win PoV, I was gonna take all the heat for everything.
Ragan: Oh, I got heat too, for breathing.. And Lane said, last night, he was trying to make it seem like we were only up here because you were HoH..
Britney: Were we not all have nots last week.
Ragan: I shouldn't let it get under my skin.. but... (and on and on).. and then I remember, oh that's why I find you (Brendon) to be a disgusting person.
4:16pm BBT - Matt leaves, wishing her well. Ragan hangs.
Ragan: Do you want me to say anything if he digs on you?Britney: I'm not going to say anything to bring about that type of responsive behavior.
Ragan: Have you gotten to talk to everyone?
Britney: Yes, but a couple people were very brief, because other people were up here, so it was kind of an in out thing..
Ragan: This week is pretty cut and dry.
Britney: As long as we win PoV.
Ragan: At this point, I think the game is pretty cut and dry.. and what Brendon doesn't get... He over intellectualizes. He makes it so much more complicated. I have a gut feeling what he's gonna do, and I think your rationale, you can't argue with it.
Britney: Right.
Ragan: I mean, you have actually, given who is going up against Brendon.. I mean, the whole house.
Britney: Yeah, the whole house definitely does want one thing.

While this seems a futile conversation, I do encourage you to give it a look on flashback, if you're not watching it live... The Nomination Ceremony is looming, and Brendon's making another effort to impress upon Britney that Matt, and to a lesser extent Ragan, are not her allies in this house.
Brendon makes one last pitch, telling Britney that no one in the house would mind if Matt went this week, and that he's been at the root of most of the drama in the house...
Brendon: I think everyone knows how Matt's been playing this game - like a rat. Just be aware that him keeping you in the game has more to do with someone else getting blood on their hands.
Britney: I know that last week, the deal that you made with me, you made the same deal with Matt. I feel like if circumstances provided, I would've been the one to go home.
Brendon: Circumstances did provide.
They discuss semantics...
Brendon: Take it as you want. You have someone here (Matt) who has lied repeatedly and gone back and forth and played this house...
Britney: I don't want anyone to be mad at me.
Brendon mentions the jury votes again... Then back to Matt. Britney brings it back to the deal with her and the deal with Matt.
***Since when is the HoH in BB responsible to keep deals with everyone, in order for one deal to stick?
Brendon continues on and the only point that penetrates with Britney is when he reiterates that Matt and Ragan were both up there pushing for her to go up.

Enzo: What's goin' on?
Britney: Basically, I have been told that pretty much everyone in the house wants someone out, which is a different person than I thought everyone wanted out. Who does this house want out? I was expecting to put up a pawn and Brendon. The pawn was not gonna go home no matter what. Now I'm hearing that maybe the house wants someone else.
Hayden: Can I ask who said that?
Britney: Brendon.
Lane: I never said that.. Brendon's gonna tell you whatever right now. The fact is though that people do see Matt doing fishy stuff.
Enzo: That's what it is right now. I got a good sense of character, and something is wrong..
Britney: Does everyone understand that the pawn who goes up today does NOT GO HOME, even if Brendon wins PoV?
They say they do...
Britney: The only thing is, as soon as I won HoH, Matt was instantly asking me, am I going up on the block, and I said no. Now if I put him up, I'm a liar. You guys think I should come up with a way to make him ok with being the pawn?
Lane: He's already offered himself as a pawn before..
Britney: But is he gonna come after me?
They all swear to protect her, and they don't think Matt will come after her...
Britney: I just don't wanna mess up anything with y'all.
Enzo: I respect that.
Britney: It's no secret that Matt's playing the house. We were all gonna vote for lane to stay last night.
Enzo: There's no bad move here, but you can't let this guy get in your head.
Lane: You have to start looking how people are playing, and Matt is playing the game. He's playing everyone.
Enzo: He's playing everyone.
Hayden: If any one of us is sitting next to Matt at the end, we're not gonna win.
Britney: We're not. I think we put our sites on that for next week. I don't wanna mess up anything here, but I feel like my safest bet is to put up a pawn now..
Lane bucks a bit more for putting Matt up as the pawn...
Britney (Lightbulb to put Matt up as the Pawn): I think you have the best chance at PoV, and I don't want to risk you not getting chosen.
Britney: It would be safer to use a pawn, but..
Hayden: In this game, sometimes the pawn goes home..
Lane buck for Matt the "Pawn" a bit more..
Britney: I don't want to have to use a pawn, if I don't have to.
Lane: Talk to Matt. Don't tell him you're putting him up, but tell him you really need this PoV to be won.
Britney: I'll talk to Matt about it. I'll see how he feels. But if he's like, don't put me up, don't put me up..
Lane: He wont. He took Rachel out. He wants to take Brendon out too.
Britney: We have the 2 votes, and I'm the tie breaker... I gotta talk to him soon. I just needed to make sure you all wanted Brendon out.
They all say Brendon is their first choice to evict... ***I wonder.
Lane & Enzo leave. Hayden hangs back to touch base.
Britney: I'm gonna do everything I can to get him to say, yeah, it's cool, put me up.
5:17pm BBT - They exit HoH. Britney goes looking to see if Matt is out of the DR yet.
BB: Britney, please go to the DR.
Britney finds Matt in Jumanji, under the covers.
Britney: (whispers) Gremlin, I need to talk to you.
They walk into the Storage Room.
BB: Britney...

The best move Brit could actually make this week, would be to put up Matt and Ragan.
Matt is going to walk away with this whole game if Brit isn't careful, and this could be the perfect week to get Matt out.
Ragan would be a for sure vote for Matt, so putting him up next to Matt, prevents him from voting.
Brendon would vote to evict Matt.
Hayden and Enzo would vote to evict Matt, more than likely. Brit could probably get Lane to vote Matt out.
Matt is very persuasive, but, I think the rest of the Brigade is onto him now, and would look at this as their best chance of sending him packing.
It would be the boldest move this entire season.
BRENDON: tell britney Lane offered himself up with her! Tell him everyone pushed her up! UGH, but I don't think that will even wake Britney up.

Why is Brendon so upset about the dummy comment. Is it a threat to his manhood?
I've heard him call Matt a midget and a mental midget. He has called Matt and Ragan pansies and pu**ies. He has called Britney and Kristin bit**es. And he has referred to any combination of the above as stupid idiots.
Oh, that's right, he said a lot of that stuff behind people's backs. I guess that makes him the same as everyone else that he criticizes for talking badly about people.
Kristin, I've been around BBDish for so long now, I just have the Blogging Queens' schedule down. I've developed a sixth sense for New Top Posts. hehehehehee

I agree that Brendon is so hated by the other HG but if Britney took him to final 2 I think she would still be at risk. I think Rachel and Kathy would vote for Brendon over Britney so that is two votes. If Brit got Enzo out this week, his ego would make him choose Brendon over Britney (and let's not forget how highly he speaks of women). Matt has said that anyone who takes Brendon to final two is automatically not going to get his vote.
That for me makes Brendon versus Brit, have 4 votes and a win. Brit is on the bottom of all alliances so target is huge on her back so she might as well do what she thinks will take her further.
I gotta disagree w/anyone taking Brendon to the F2. I think Brendon would win in any F2 situation. Like Matt told several people. The person that takes Brendon w/them looks all kinds of shady and at that point you have to give it to Brendon for lasting so long against all odds.

Bottom line for me is........I have no favorites, haven't for awhile now, and don't really care who wins.
Maybe Hayden or Lane, because they seem to be the nicest and kindest of anyone in the house. But they haven't been doing much in the way of game play or getting their hands dirty.
Maybe Matt or Britney, because I think they have both done the best job thus far at playing this game.

All I can say for now is I think he is getting a bad rap from the house guests who have had a one track mind from the beginning of the season. He's getting the same thing from commenters in general too.
One that sticks out to me that's been said over and over is that he only pics on people half his size. It's hard for him not to when when he's the biggest man in the house, mentally and physically.
You might argue he hasn't attacked Lane or Enzo, but I'll counter that with, have they given him a reason to attack. I see it as passionate, not cowardice.

Not that I 'like' Enzo. I've had my say about him many times and his 'Eminem' music hopes kinda sealed it. But, I do have a heart and when he lost HoH last night which I would have hated too, I felt bad for him because he came so close.
He could have done it had he gone with his first instinct he would have won on the answer they tied on before Britney's win.
A win from him would have made this week much less predictable and he would have been able to get the letter from his wife and see pics of his baby.

Blue, I totally agree with you on who she should nominate but that will never happen. I think the longer Matt stays in the harder it will be to get rid of him.

Bree where in your body are u getting injections. I used to get them and the trick is getting a twilight injection first. It prevents any muscle tensing and makes the after effects more bearable. Next trip to the pain doctor tell him u want a twilight first. You will b amazed at the difference
I don't know. I think Brendon is just really fighting for his life in this game. He knows everything is stacked against him, and is going to do and say whatever he has to. Every single one of them in the house has been doing exactly the same thing.

I am curious if the twilight injection you are talking about is any different than the injection of a local anesthetic before actually doing the steroidal injection, like lidacaine injection before cortizone injection?

Brendon has been fighting since Day 1 while everyone else has had the luxury of throwing comps, etc. Yes, Brendon can be very annoying, but he was forced to be on defense since the beginning. I hope he does get that POV. Then, it'll really be interesting to see who she has to nominate as the replacement.

First I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Carolyn, Genie and Lessa for all the transcribing! I can barely keep up and sometimes I don't get all the comments read (much less make a comment of my own) before there's a "new top post"!!
I just caught the tail end of Brit and Brendon; and boy was he intimidating to her; I was sure she was gonna bust out crying any minute. Then I heard the whole conversation with the Brigade (minus Matt).
I believe IF she puts up Matt, the Brigade won't vote Brendon out this week and get Matt next, they will go for him THIS WEEK!!
Can't wait to read what everyone else thinks......

Yes a twilight is basically truth serum. You get it for any surgery they want to keep u awake for but you don't remember a thing. You get completely relaxed and it's almost impossible to tense your muscle.
