BB13: Monday Morning July 11
Good morning BB Dishers!
There was a lot of whag and game talk on the live feeds last night and overnight! While the vets are getting to know the newbies and glean information about who they're planning on voting out and who their future targets might be, some newbies are trying to rally themselves to show a united front. Cassi and Dominic, true to their "Regulators" alliance are working to keep Keith safe, but has Keith burnt too many bridges with the rest of the house? Lawon seems to be sitting on the fence. Adam agrees with anyone who approaches him from either side. Porsche and Kalia have been busy dishing information to the vets while Shelly is maintaining that she's on the vets' side contrary to her DRs shown on Sunday's show.

As of 7:13 AM BBT, Shelly has been up and about, making coffee, having a cigarette and a rest outside, checking laundry, muttering that she won't be cleaning any more while she picks up a load of towels to launder. **Shelly, honey, habits die hard... :)
The rest of the HGs are fast asleep. With the PoV Ceremony over, the rest of the week will be open to campaigning, strategizing, manipulations and speculation. Will Keith continue his suicide mission? Will Porsche redeem herself in the newbies eyes? Will anyone keep their word that they've given to the vets and the newbies alike? We can't wait to find out!

BB: Good Morning House guests. It's time to get up for the day.

Adam and Shelly are in the backyard chatting chit chatting on hoe they slept. Brendon is up and about getting fresh batteries. The have not room is full of snoozers.
Brendon goes to get some coffee. Dani comes through from the bathroom and exchanges a sleepy good morning with Brendon on her way back to the bed rooms. Adam says Happy Birthday to his best friend Chris who hasn't signed a release form and we gets palm trees.
A few minutes later, Brendon comes outside and they say Good Morning to the live feeders. Adam blows us kisses! Daniele exchanged her batteries and grabs some coffee. BB asks Daniele if she exchanged her batteries which engenders laughter and palm trees.
Adam goes inside and Brendon takes the opportunity to pump Shelly for information about what's going on. Shelly tells him that the newbies are more targeting Jeff and Jordan, but Brendon doesn't like the notion that they might be trying to backdoor him and Rachel. Brendon wants Shelly to tell them she will be voting to keep Keith when in reality she will vote for Porsche to stay.
Brendon: Right now, I don't trust Cassi. I don't trust Dominic. I don't trust Keith. It's Cassi, She's getting others to do her dirty work... Dominic and Cassi said the same thing.
Shelly: I can't believe how much people talk.... It's to your benefit that they want to put Jeff and Jordan up. Every single one of them. I won't be putting you up.
**This goes on for a but more. Is Shelly blowing smoke where the sun don't shine or is she honest?
Brendon reassure her that even if they want to get rid of Cassi, Shelly is safe.

Dani and Rachel
They are speculating on what the others motivations are and how they will vote. Rachel wonders if they're smart enough to put up one of the newbies to back door one of the vets. Daniele doesn't think they're smart enough. They also wonder why they were woken up so early and why they called Rachel to DR. Rachel wants them to go over house facts. Daniele says it's way too early. They decide that they would prefer to get rid of Cassi before Dominic. Daniele goes to bed. The feeds stay on Rachel putting on make-up...

Back at the hammock
Brendon is saying that should Rachel be evicted he would be the "reincarnation of Dick". (**a strategy that didn't work for him last time...) Shelly tells him that he and Rachel are totally different from last year, and that they have the chance to be themselves without the stress of constantly being under attack.
Shelly: No one can deny that you're truly great competitors... You two are totally different but that's what makes things good a lot of the time.
Shelly goes on to analyze Rachel's character in very complimentary terms (**contradictory to what she has said thus far in DR) They go on to talk about Brendon's and Rachel's relationship.
Meanwhile, Rachel has come down from HoH and makes herself a coffee. She goes to the Chrome Room to tell them that production will be calling everyone to DR. he joins the backyard crew where Adam is walking and joins the hammock duo.
The relationship conversation continues with Shelly's husband whom she obviously loves very much. Rachel states that she loves Shelly who compliments her on her hair. They talk about their shopping habits and general chit chat. It seems to be a great bonding session. The conversation moves on to their wedding plans. Adam has gone inside but the three have not switched to game talk.
Adam is puttering in the Chrome Room, straightening up his clothes and belongings. He goes up close to F4 and gives the rocker sign (*which I missed to cap!). He goes outside to sit on the sofa away from the rest to have a cigarette. Discussion at the hammock has changed to Harry Potter.
Shelly, on her way inside asks Adam id he needs anything. He says he's just having a smoke, will grab a shower and go back to bed. Rachel and Brendon continue to talk about their plans.

Shelly joins Adam on the sofa; they talk about the Casey Anthony trial. Talk turns to who is best to evict this week. Adam says he's leaning to keeping Keith. Shelly says she doesn't know yet.
Shelly: Both of them scare me. One of them will get the key.
Adam: Which is a good thing and a bad thing.
Shelly: It doesn't matter. Either way they'll get picked off. ...Watch what you say. They got people reporting back what you say and I told you from the beginning that I got your back.
Adam: I haven't heard anything about you.
Shelly: I haven't heard anything about you, but your partner I have... They are really concerned about his and Cassi's relationship.
Adam: I think there's an attraction there... If someone wins from our side HoH this week, will they have the balls to do it.
Shelly: We'll find out.
They talk about production and we sway with the palm trees.
The feeds return to Adam and Shelly talking about how Keith panicked and self-destructed.
Shelly: Has Porsche come to you?
Adam: I told her to enjoy the experience.... I'm trying to get to know people. I told her flat out. Have I committed my vote to you? No.
Shelly: I haven't committed my vote to her. I'm not giving anything to anyone right now.
Adam: If she is the one to stay I don't want her to hate me.
Talk turns to the final eviction and Jordan's season when she picked Natalie over Kevin for the votes.
Adam: Cassi was asking who to go up... After I was backed into the corner... I was like I'm not committing to anything.
Shelly: Just make sure what you say is not going back to them... IN the early part of the game it's best not to ruffle feathers and not get in their target range.
They talk about Dominic and how he is quickly becoming a target.
Adam: Outside I would hang with him... outside the house...
Shelly: You got to know they will protect themselves before they protect us. (Cassi and Dominic)
Adam: The situation that we're in with the teams... week to week the situation changes. Several people don't want HoH next week, but my competitive spirit...
Adam continues to break down the coming weeks' competitions.
Adam: If Porsche would get it who would she go after?
Shelly: where do you think she stands.
Adam: I think if she's saved by them, she will be appreciative. If Keith is saved by them, I don't think he will be appreciative.
Shelly: That's a good thought process.
Adam: That's what Cassi said to me... her head is really in the game... We'll have to see.
He goes inside to grab a shower.

Hammock
Brendon and Rachel are talking about Lawon and others who don't seem to know how to play the game. They seem to think that they will have the votes to evict Keith. They relish the idea of everyone's shocked faces. (**careful, karma has a way of flipping the script!)
Rachel goes inside to prepare breakfast and Brendon has a quick word with Shelly, telling her to keep saying she will be voting to keep Keith when in reality she will vote to evict him. Shelly agrees. (**Is she feeding him what he wants to hear? Or is she feeding Adam? We'll probably not know until Thursday night.)
Brendon: It cracks me up when girls in this game think they're controlling men.
Shelly: They all think she's (Cassi) brilliant.
Brendon: with your vote it will be 5-5. I don't think Kalia will vote to keep Keith.
Shelly: I don't know. They're all waffling.
They go on to mock how some of the others are playing, thinking they know what they're doing.
Brendon: She should have just tried to play both sides of the house and shut up. One of the others would have put one of us and she could have just been I din't know..
Shelly: She talks the most from anyone.
Brendon describes Cassi, Dominic and Keith as the three headed snake that they need to decapitate. Shelly agrees. He goes inside and she gives a huge self-satisfied grin to herself. (**I can imagine she's saying SUCKA!)
Keith comes outside and asks her if he still has her vote and she says "Serious?" Conversation switches to chit chat about shops. He hops on to the elliptical and general chit-chat ensues.
Rachel and Brendon are n the kitchen cooking breakfast. She wants to save a can of diet coke for Shelly. (**meanwhile Shelly is probably saving her a can of whoop-azz....)

Around the house.
Brendon and Rachel are in the kitchen talking about their wedding dance. Keith has just finished on the elliptical. Shelly is doing laundry. Adam is in the shower.

Feeds come back and they're on lock down. Shelly, Rachel and Brendon are in the kitchen. Everyone else is either sleeping or off camera. Shelly wonders if they're putting chlorine in the pool. They wonder how everyone can sleep that long. Shelly asks if they're supposed to get up after wake-up call, and we ride the palms.
Keith comes out of the shower, changes and joins the kitchen crew. The conversation in the kitchen is about movie rentals. Keith isn't participating in the discussion. They talk about Christmas movies and Keith weighs in with the fact that he goes Christmas caroling.

In the kitchen the same three continue their chit chat with cartoons and then talk shows.

Keith is out of DR and the lock down is over. On the feeds Adam, Keith, Shelly, Rachel and Brendon still. Everyone else seems to be imitating logs.
Scratch that. Keith went back to bed. Daniele is up. Jeff and Jordan are stirring. Dominic is up. Daniele whispers to Rachel and Brendon that there's no question in her mind about someone (**Cassi maybe?) Dominic pops through and they go through the late night roll call.

Rachel: Lawon have you changed your batteries?
Lawon: Lawon is looking wonderful.
Jeff comes through with his gym bag on his way to do laundry. They rib him about leaving and to say hello to ED. (**lol). Jordan and Porsche stumble into the kitchen. Shelly and Adam are hanging out in the backyard sofas. Keith joins them. He talks about his workout, work and party schedule.
Keith: I think he's wheeling and dealing with Brendon and Rachel... I called him out on it... (*Lawon)
Shelly: He makes me wonder with my partner.
Keith: It makes me wonder if she's (*Cassi( on it too... I think he will be the one who will vote to evict me.
CUT TO:

Storage.
Porsche: he told me that he would campaign against me.
Dominic: I'm trying to stay out of the whole thing.

Kalia: The thing that matters most is that we win HoH. If one of the new kids win HoH, we know we have the numbers. (She goes on to set her plan in motion to be put up on the block and Lawon goes home.)
Brendon: That will be amazing. Lawon cracks me up... He's like I just want to tell I've done a lot of thinking.. me and my partner are good... And he's going around in circles... He's trying to tell me something... but he's not saying anything.... I do not trust Shelly as far as I can throw her.
Kalia: Do not trust Shelly because she's close with Cassi.
Brendon: Oh no... I mean I trust Shelly but not as far as I can throw her.
They talk about Lawon trying to play both sides and he won't make a decision.
Kalia: He says he f'ed me, but what doesn't he know that he f'ed himself.
Brief interruption.
Brendon: They want to keep Keith in the game... let them think that that's going to happen... Shelly is voting Keith out... Let them think that you're going to let Keith stay... until the last meeting.
Kalia: We had a discussion as to who to keep... I told them reasons why to keep Keith or Porsche... I'm pretty sure they want to vote Keith out.
Brendon: No they want to keep Keith.. if they want to make you think that they're not... Cassi wants Dominic and Keith to do her dirty work for her... When we talked to Cassi and Dominic... they said the same thing.
Kalia: Ohh....
Brendon goes on to once again push the surprise eviction scenario.
Palm trees.
Kalia is still pushing her plan to be put up with Lawon so that Lawon would be evicted (**because she wants her hands on a golden key, but we know those kinds of plans always backfire...) Brendon reiterates that "those people" are foolish because they're shooting up their mouths. (**who isn't?) They go through the line on who to trust. Brendon brings up that he thinks that Adam won't win HoHs and Kalia disagrees.
Kalia: I know people think I'm weak because I've lost all competitions... but (paraphrasing) they're very far off... This plan is perfect should we not win HoH... That way you get another week.
Brendon is liking her plan. (**Why wouldn't he?) They agree that Porsche would probably be under their thumb and that she's all over the place. Rinse. Lather. Repeat. This is ongoing and fast-talking. Spark 'em up or FB it.
Finally at 12: 34 PM BBT
Lawon comes in to bust things up. Kalia tries to convince him that she was using the bathroom and Brendon was waiting to use it. Did he buy it?
Rachel comes up and Brendon fills Rachel in on his discussion with Kalia. Rachel starts undressing.
Brendon: I don't want your boobs all over the internet.... (** ...)
Brendon continues to tell Rachel about his conversation with Kalia and Rachel asks him what Jeff thinks. Brendon says he hasn't seen him. Brendon goes on to tell her about his master surprise eviction plan. He then goes on to tell her Kalia's plan to be nominated.

They are concerned that they are the prime targets next week. The only way all four of them would be safe were to be if the couple not on the block would win PoV and take them off. Jeff thinks that he's being overly negative in thinking ahead. Jordan tries to get him to chill out.
They head out discussing who of their acquaintances would be good at BB. Since none of them have signed releases, we hop on some palm trees.

So here's a burning question. Do Kalia, Shelly, and Adam tip their hands this week and vote to keep Keith? If they do that, the veterans know where they stand. Or do they sacrifice Keith to further themselves. I know what I would do. It's week 1, way too early to show all my cards.
Hey everybody. I had little time to engage in "chatting" last season. Hoping for at least a little bit more this season. Great to see all the familiar names.
I just watched ED's rambling 9+ minute comment about his leaving. Am I the only one who finds 9 minutes of rambling for 30 seconds of explanation, to be somewhat suspect?
ED's version just doesn't explain BB being so secretive and closed-mouth with all the house guests. Plus, his employing his (ED) typical "Eff U" attitude towards those he perceives as doubting his honesty, is one I usually see him employ when he feels cornered and when he wants people to believe whatever he says.
Just sayin' . . . ;p
wow well a couple thoughts already this morning....
1) i do think brenchel are playing the game a lot different this time around and i am liking there game play its jsut hard for me to push away my hatred for them from last season and like them
2) why are they worreid about who porsche will put up she cant play hoh for the next 3 weeks if she stays

What does "What" mean? You said prior to Sam's question, game talk was "whagging" you out. "Wearing" you out; "freaking" you out; "tiring" you out; "bumming" you out? Any of these even close?

I am one of the few who absolutely LOVES Rachael. I can't believe so many people hate on her. If I was to rate her entertainment value on a scale of 1 through 10, I would rate her a 12. Seriously. I was so happy Brenchal came back, I was flipping out. My only peeve about them this year is Brendon harping on her not to talk game without him and then he goes and talks game by himself. Grrr, men and their double standards.

All: I buy ED's explanation. I don't want to, because I want to believe he'll get to come back in some bizarre twist. But after seeing the video, I really believe he's being sincere and that he's out of BB13 for good. :(
I think Dani's chief weapons in season 8 were her dad, Nick, and her own natural abilities; and without 2 of 3 of those this season, she's gonna have to step up with the third. All the same, I am very excited to see her get to play her own game. Loved her in s8, and hope she can hold her own with the DCA/AA.

I was also wondering if the golden key peeps can be have nots? I can't see any reason why they shouldn't have to play in food comps & have a chance of being a have not. It wouldn't change the fact that they are safe from eviction.

Yes Rachel is much different this year. Just as last year though, she needs Brendon out of her way in order to compete and win. He is such a bad example for the male gender. Know it all, controlling, me me me person. I thought it interesting last nite when Rachel was talking about Nick and his controlling habits.
I see Dani entering a dangerous area for her game. That being the attraction with Dom. At least to me it seems very obvious. She has a chance to go a long way with her abilities and knowledge of the game, but he could drag her down. She needs to wait till after the season to hookup with him. However, ever since she determined he is in fact 25, not 18, the fire has been turned up.

Marci my buddy was kind to let me listen over the phone to the ED explanation - some crazy a$$ rumors out there about why he left. Shame we wont be seeing him this summer - always loved his bluntness and straight forward approach with ppl but nice to see that there are more important things in life than the mighty buck!

Sam -- I'm with you and Genie; I really like Rachel. She can be over-the-top, but that is so common for people with self-esteem issues -- and I think Rachel has many of those kinda issues. Her DR comments last night about Botox and plastic surgery in general kinda make me think so, as well.
I liked her last season, too. Her laugh could grate sometimes, but it's just her unfortunate luck to be saddled with a laugh that can put in mind of a donkey braying.
I really think she's a good-hearted person, and I even have to kinda admire the way she plays the game. I think she's smarter than most people give her credit for -- with the exception she can sometimes be too willing to think kindly of certain house guests. I think it's that, if anything, that will be her downfall.

Shi Shi: thanks for the tip on the cage! Too bad... it does look like there's a door there with just enough space at the top to hand food through... hmmm.... could lead to some serious fun if some of the HG's were to get locked "upstairs" with only enough space for food and water to be handed to them while the rest of the HG's run amok! C'mon AG... a little fun with it, please??? ;)
