Big Brother 13: The Overnight Report
Good Morning, BB Lovers! Happy Monday!
We had a little Rachel-Cassi Smackdown last night, and GenieSea was here covering it for you live. If you missed that, check out her post! It's terrific!
If you've been away all weekend, a very quick recap:
- Dominic won the PoV Comp.
- Cassi's been told she'll more than likely be the ReNom, and she's been doing everything she can to get Jordan to put up Brendon and Rachel instead.
- Rachel's had considerable drama, and many see that as a reason to get rid of her.
- However, Jeff and Jordan believe they must keep Rachel and Brendon in the house to lessen the targets on their own heads... and they don't want to break their deal with them.. just yet.
- 11 days into crazy long hours of sitting and writing and my spine is still *very* happy in my new RelaxTheBack Chair! Yay! (look! isn't it pretty!) But... Note to Self: It's a flipping great idea to stretch after a 5 hour long Sunday Sanity Break Bike Ride. Oh. My. Calves!!!!
- By the way, if anyone won the lottery over the weekend and wants to buy me a nice prezzy, I'd totally fancy this. :0) Just puttin' that out there into the universe. ;0)

Kalia: So I ran up here to pee, and Jeff was in here with Rachel, and I hear him saying to her, "People aren't always gonna like you. Who cares?! If the girl doesn't like you, the girl doesn't like you. She's leaving on Thursday, so who cares?" Like why are you wasting your time and your energy?
Jordan: Right.
Kalia: So.. I didn't know what the details were..
Jordan: OK, so this is what happened.. I'm sittin at the hammock with Jeff and Dominic, and Rachel's like, Can I talk to you? And I'm like, "Oh God.." I sound like a high school gossip drama queen, cuz like, I've talked about it to a million people.
Kalia: That's alright.. That's what this is.
Jordan: Anyways, we have nothin' better to do.
Kalia: It's entertaining.
Jordan: So um.. She comes up here and she's like, Cassi pulled me aside and she was yelling at me.. not yelling, but I guess Cassi pulled her aside and asked why she didn't like her, and I think Rachel told her she did.. I don't remember exactly what was said, but I guess Rachel told her she plays a bad game, or something like that. hehehe.
Kalia: Oh yeah.. hehe
Jordan: And Casi was just like, I just wanna know why you don't like me.. And then Rachel was crying..
Kalia: Why was she crying?
Jordan: I guess Cassi made her feel bad. And I told Rachel, I'm gonna be honest with you.. People are getting aggravated with your comments that you're making..
Kalia: uh huh..
Jordan: ..like the comment she made about Porsche.. like when she walked in that room when all y'all were in there. I told her that was unnecessary.. and that she's coming across as bitchy.. and that she came her to change how she was perceived, but her actions aren't helping that. And I told her, i don't care what you said, but what if it was someone else that was HoH? You and Brendon could get backdoored...
Kalia: So then she was probably more upset, 'cause you weren't all "poor Rachel."
Jordan: I just told her I was a little aggravated at her the other day, and she's all, "I'm a nice person." And I said, no one's saying you're not.. And she said, "She was trying to be mean to Porsche." I said, Don't worry about Porsche. If someone was making fun of my friend in real life, of course I'd stick up for them, but in this house, you just have to learn to keep your mouth shut.. And also, she's trying to change her image, but then she's talking about having sex with Brendon up here.. and she's like, He's my fiance.. I'm like, of course, but the whole world doesn't need to know..
Kalia: Exactly.. and then they talk about the freaky things they've done and the places..
Jordan: We all talk about sex, but..
Kalia: I'm not gonna say details, because it's not anyone's business.
Jordan: Right. Anyway, she's just like, "I'm not a bad person," and I agree, but just some of your actions, basically.. I was just tellin' her that. Then I go down there, and Cassi's like, I'm so sorry to put you in the middle.. Oh! And I did say to Rachel that I'd talked to Cassi and I did think you were intimidated by her, and Rachel said I'm not..
Kalia: Rachel's a good person.. but what she thinks comes off as cute and ditzy actually comes across and annoying and not that smart.

Dani: He said he's been having what?
Brendon: Stomach issues... He said something to Jeff.. I don't wanna call him out and embarrass him.. What should I do?
Dani: Send him in here for something and see what he does.

Rachel comes in and tells Dominic that Jeff & Dani just pulled a prank on him.. He loves it, and starts plotting how to get them back.
Dominic: Jordan, are you ok with it if I mess with Jeff?
Jordan: I don't care!
Rachel: Don't tell them I told you.
Kalia: What're you gonna do?
Dominic: hmm.. how can I mess with Jeff? Dude, I could take chocolate reeses and rub it all over the toilet seat downstairs, and say Jeff used the toilet last..
Rachel: (smiles) Nobody's gonna believe that..
Dominic: I'll just tell Lawon...
Jordan: Take a pair of Jeff's underwear and rub chocolate! He did that to my brother, and it looked so real.. Do that and be like, ooh Jeff, look what I found in your room.
Rachel: No, don't do that.. That's not original enough..
Dominic: Is that exactly what he did to me?
Rachel: (smiles)
Dominic: Oh my God!!!!
Rachel's expression confirms..
Jordan: Do it then!!
Dominic: Where's his underwear?
Jordan: In those drawers..
Dominic: (starts digging) I need white underwear...
Jordan comes over to help...
Rachel: PT, don't do the same thing he did to you. It's not original enough.. Do something better.
Dom brainstorms about how to get Jeff back... It's a fun scene to check out in flashback... Gotta move forward into the night.

Operation Poopy Pants Continues... Cassi is unaware of the prank, so the HGs take the opportunity to get her...
ALL: Go look!Cassi: He sh*t his pants and left it on the floor and walked away?
Lawon: I'm serious! Good look...
Lawon and Cassi go to the Have Not Room. She sees the boxers on the floor and cracks up! Cassi gingerly picks up the offending briefs, holds them up to the camera for all the world to get a good close look...
Cassi: Exhibit F. Oh my.. I haven't laughed that hard since I been in here. Why did he just leave em there and not wash em? Why did he move into my room and just think he could leave his sh*tty underpants everywhere?Lawon: Girl, that's crazy. When I saw that.. I said that's some crazy sh*t.
Cassi and Lawon head back out to the common area... Dom is there now.
Cassi: WTF, Dude?! What makes you think you can move into my bedroom for like 2 days and leave that layin' around?
ALL: (laughter)
Cassi: Why wouldn't you wash em? You're a grown.. boy.
Dom: Hold on. Can we stop before we go any further?
Cassi: I picked em up and held em up for the camera. He got a good zoom. Yeah.
Dom: Are you being dead serious right now?
Cassi: Yeah.
Dom: (kidding) This is so insulting. You actually think I would sh*t my pants?? He pulled a prank on me and rubbed chocolate in them! You a-hole! I'm so upset right now. (not really) I'm so insulted! (to the rest of the group) Did you see her face?
Dani: She's like, I didn't know! I just held them up to the camera to embarrass you to everybody.
Cassi: (cracking up)
Dani: (huge smile)
Dominic (issues a warning): You guys are ALLLL on my radar now. You better watch your sh*t.
***You've really got to watch this on flashback to get the full feeling of it. I know I keep saying that this morning, but this is really funny stuff. It's well worth the 3 day free trial on the feeds, if you haven't gotten them yet.

Cassi tries to convince Jeff that keeping her in the game is his best move...
Cassi: It'd be a game changer for sure. Change the friggin' season if they did that. And I said, they're afraid that everybody'd flip on 'em. And Adam and Dom were like, "Everybody would love that! They'd be heroes!" And I'm like, "but they're afraid their whole thing would crumble and everybody would go after em." And Dom was like, "I would go up there and make a deal with them to keep them safe the rest of the time." And Adam's like, "Me too." Like.. I don't think anybody wants me to go.
Jeff: Well...
Cassi: People would definitely be willing to come talk to you, if y'all are considering it...
Jeff: We'll..
Cassi: Think about it.. I'm not trying to preach here. If I've gotta go, I've gotta go. I've already accepted that.. But if you don't do it now, at some point, you're gonna have to... and in the meantime, do you think if they had an opportunity that they wouldn't do it to you at some point?
Jeff: I know..
Cassi: I mean, this is the safest way now, 'cause you're guaranteed that one of 'em's leaving.
Jeff: I know..
Cassi: And what is Rachel without Brendon? Let's be honest.
Jeff: We'll talk.
And away he goes. Which brings us to where I originally began the Overnight... I'm just cutting and pasting it here now for continuity sake - I'll be adding the conversation between Dominic and Cassi in the appropriate time slots, as well...

Jeff: She's like, "why don't you just backdoor Brendon and Rachel? You'd have everyone's votes.."
Jordan: But that'd be the dumbest move in the world for us! And we'd lose Daniele's trust. I'd rather have a solid alliance than someone we just like.
***As much as people are clamoring for it, Jordan is quite right. Putting up Brendon and Rachel as the Renoms would serve no one but the newbies, and it would move Jeff and Jordan straight into the position of Biggest Targets in the House.
Jeff: So do you like the deal with Dominic?
Jordan: Yeah.. (paraphrasing) Think we could get him to not use it? Then we'd vote Adam out?
Jeff: That would be the dumbest move ever.. plus I'd still vote Dom out.. I think the rest of the house would too.
Jordan: Yeah, cuz somebody could then flip on us..
Jeff: What if Brendon and Rachel won next week, and they put up Dominic and Adam?
Jordan: Well, if they wanna get out Dominic, they just have to put up Lawon and Kalia, so he doesn't have a clue.
Jeff: It'd be stupid to get rid of Brendon and Rachel, because then we're the target... Everyone's gonna go after them, so it's better game wise and partner wise.
Jordan: To keep em.. of course..
Jeff: Say Dominic wins? And he puts up Lawon? Then Adam is good.. we took him to where we said we were gonna take him..

Jordan: And what if Cassi flips and just puts us up..
Jeff: I know..
Jordan rehashes the argument between Rachel and Cassi, filling in the gaps for Jeff, including her own very frank conversation with Rachel following the argument...
Jordan: You need to learn to keep your mouth shut. I'm not saying this to be mean... Also, you're trying to change the way you were last season, but you're out there talking about having sex with Brendon up here, and she's all, "He's my fiance!" And I'm like, that's fine, but this is going out to millions of people. I didn't say it, but it's just not classy. I was just basically tellin' her she needs to shut up with things..
Jeff: Maybe with Cassi gone, she'll calm down.
Jordan: I hope so.
Jeff: I told Rachel, we're solid.
Jordan: I did too.. I told her, I am not flipping. I think there's just unnecessary drama and everything's getting blown out of proportion.
Watching Cassi talk to Dom on the spy screen..
Jeff: Dude, Cassi's trying so hard to stay... she's workin' it.. (paraphrasing) Probably trying to talk Dom into not using the Veto... I'd just vote him out.

Cassi: It'd be smart to.
Dom: Yeah, if he had balls, but he doesn't.. But we do...
Cassi: No one does.. Those 2 are gonna end up coasting to the end, because everyone's afraid to put them up, and I don't know why.
Dom: Do you know who you're talking to? (whispers) Shelly would for sure vote me..
Cassi: Obviously.
Dom: Dani would for sure vote me..
Cassi: ok, that's 3..
Dom: If.. I talk to Jeff and Jordan before, and
Cassi: They would for sure..
Dom: But Brendon and Rachel.. plus the 2
Cassi: I kinda wonder if 2 actually turned.. or if one turned and another's America's player.
Dom: Dah dah dahhhh...
Cassi: I'm gonna cry.. I wish I could just walk out right now... Why is she so scary... Without him she's nothing.
Dom: That's not the reason. Rachel and Brendon are their safety net. Without them, they're playing alone.
Cassi: I said.. Do you trust Brendon and Rachel more than you do Shelly and I?
Dom: Yes!
Cassi: Do you know them any more than us? I was like, from what you've seen;.. Just think about it at least... If you put them up and keep me here, I can speak for Shelly and I, we would keep you safe and not put you up til the very end, if we got there.
Dom: And did he consider it?
Cassi: He was like, "I'll talk to Jordan, but work on Dom." I can't, in good conscience, tell him to do that, if I'm not sure that he's got the votes.
Dom: Exactly.
Cassi: I know.. I'm not askin' you to... I'm just saying how much they don't wanna do this.
Dom: Especially after last week when everyone looked in our faces.. and 2 people clearly lied.
Cassi: I told em, you send me home, you're taking a non-threat outta the game right now, and all you're doing is prolonging the inevitable. What makes you think they're gonna hold true to their deal to you?! What makes you think they wont do the same thing to you, and then you'll be like, oh f'k, I should kept Cassi here and done this a long time ago.
Dom: Right. But you gotta understand, the reason they're not doing it.. It's not that they're scared, it's that Brendon and Rachel are their safety net.

Talk turns to Shelly and how much they adore her. Jeff thinks she must be very successful outside the house. Jordan agrees.
Jeff: We're in a good position this week..
Jordan: Are you gonna try to win HoH this week?
Jeff: For sure. Cuz then we're golden. I'll put up Lawon and Kalia.. and if they take themselves off, I'll put up Dominic and Adam. Nothing's for sure, but I'm pretty sure..
Jordan: It's questions..
Jeff: No, that we're good with Brendon and Rachel.
Jordan: Oh yeah.. We are.
Jeff: I hope so.. You don't think they'll come after us?
Jordan: For me being honest with her? No.. I was nice about it.. It just makes me feel bad. I feel like I'm in the middle.
Jeff: We're like the mediators.. If it happens again, I'm gonna pull Brendon aside and tell him he needs to feed her some ritalin in the morning.

Jeff: That's why I didn't watch our season... because I know people say a lot of things during the game and they want you to react to it..
Rachel: She's like, this has been the worst year of my life.. I said, well, you can change it.. The way you're acting now is exactly like you did last year.. hehe.. Imagine if Dick was here.. He'd be right in there.. stirring it up.
Jeff: Oh yeah.. he would love it.
Jordan: If he was here, I'd feel like I had no chance..
Jeff: He would put so much fear into them that they would never put him up.

Rachel was in full whaa, whaa, whaa, she was mean to me mode. We've seen it all before.
Every time Jordan said that Rachel comes off a "little...bitchy" I roared with laughter. It is FB gold. No smackdown though, at least not yet.
Perhaps overnight. Going to read TOR and see if more drama ensued.

Jami here, (can't log into my blogger acct, hence the Anon) checkin in, I'm having a blast here at my daddy's! I LOVE FLA! It's my home state, and it feels great to be back! Going canoeing today, and hope to spot some gators! My dad lives on a wildlife preservation, so it's a good chance we'll see lots of animals :)
I will be back later (probably sunburnt! lol) and catch up on EVERYTHING, haven't been online since Sat. nite.

Why Backdooring Brenchel is right for Jordan.
They made a mistake when they joined with Brenchel in the first place. Both Jeff and Jordan know this. BB is a changing game, You can fix mistakes. They know they have to go against them at some point, its set up perfectly to take them out now.
Mainly Rachel is past the point of no return. She is a paranoid mess who will now look to backdoor Jeff and Jordan before Jeff and Jordan get another chance to backdoor her. You may have to rebuild a new alliance Jordan, but you can't stay in that mess.

I just want to say that Jordan did a great job last night of calming Rachel down! She even said afterward that she felt like Dr. Phil!!
I was so proud of Jordan for not sugar-coating the situation and telling Rachel in her nice way that she does come off as bitchy and I loved that Jordan called her out for bragging about having sex with Brendon in the HOH room. Rachel still doesn't get it since her response was "he's my fiance"......... when will Rachel understand that this is the big difference between herself and Jordan. Jordan just has more self-respect and class to do something like that and that's why we love our Jordan!!
Just my 2 cents worth this morning; can't wait to read what everyone thinks about the "mini-shakeup" last night!

Morning all! I may be in the minority here but I will be glad when Cassie leaves. I may not be to fond of Rachel, but Cassie was being butt to her last night imo. Rachel was surprisingly calm and held it together. I was so suck of hearing Cassie telling everyone her side and it being different and more outlandish with each person. She comes across as Thinking she is so much better than everyone else to me.

I'm glad that Rachel has once again shown the world who she really is. Yes, it's the mean girl in me, but I don't have any sympathy for her.
Most of us go through life without a camera on us 24/7. We all do certain things without realizing how they come across or the affect they have on other people. I've felt really bad for some past HGs and actually worried about their mental health after the show. Some were people I liked (Ragan) some I couldn't stand (Amber). I worried that when they realized how the world really saw them it was going to be very different from how they had always viewed themselves.
Rachel had the chance to not only watch herself but to know how the general public viewed her. If she didn't feel that she needed to change or that she wanted to change, she shouldn't have done another season of BB. Or if she's confident and happy being exactly who she is, she needs to suck it up and deal with the fact that a lot of people aren't going to like her.
I'm sick of hearing about how hard the last year has been and how this was a chance to change people's opinions of her. She has made zero effort to do anything different or to act any different than she did last year.
Rachel plays the victim in the house-not Cassie. In a way she is a victim. Unfortunately, she's a victim of her own making.

I have a question about the POV and a "Duo" using it. I thought
I thought that I had read somewhere that regardless of who has POV, both people in the Duo have to be in agreement to use it. If one person doesn't agree, then it can't be used.
Is this true and if so...is there a chance that Adam won't let Dom use it to remove them from the block because he is confident he will get a Golden Key?

Goodmorning Carolyn & dishers! Oh the drama lol Gotta say I love that Jordan was honest & yet in a kind way! I dont think you can change a tigers stripes but at least she put it out there for her.
I know many people disagree with casting old/new together but clearly AGP knew how to intensify BB this season! It's so intense already.
I'm even more glad J & J know not to backdoor B & R yet...it would be dramatic but not smart IMO :)

Bananas. Get some. The extra potassium will help you work out those sore calves a little quicker. And as you're sitting, try little pulsing toe raises to warm them up, then every 10 minutes or so, stretch them again. :)
johnny5 and Grendon you make so good points.....and I agree.
Have these people seen Big Brother before, appparently not. I don't think most of them are thinking strategically enough. If I were Cassi I would not encourage people to meet with Jeff/Jordan privately go to them together. She can kill 2 birds with 1 stone - 1) she finds out where people stand and 2) they can all promise Jeff/Jordan safety. (kinda like BB10 when they got Brian out).

I know this won't happen but I do wish Jordan would put up Brenchel. Even though it hasn't been said you know that Jeff/Jordan are the number one target for Brenchel as soon as the perfect situation comes up.
Rachel is so predictable. When she is in power she is the fun lovin party girl but as soon as she doesn't have the control she's crying and all poor me. She won't change the way she is viewed because that's just the way she's wired! Kuddos to Jordo for being honest!

I feel indifferent to both Rachel/Cassi in general. I think it would be a game-changing move and the vets still have the votes...Jordan,Jeff,Dani,Porsche,Rachel or Brendon, Shelley, Kalia vs. Dom,Cassi,Lawon and maybe Adam.
So what happens when everyone left is on the same side? Oh wait....there are no sides.

I knew Rachel's true mean colors would surface sooner or later. She is a real piece of work. Seriously, I wonder if she received any psychiatric care growing up.
Even though Brendon and Danielle have been telling her to maintain, she lost it with Cassie. And then Jordan doing her best Dr. Phil and still...after Rachel beat (she actually won by default) Cassie in pool, as she was leaving the kitchen to go outside and Cassie was at the sink, she stated "Wow, I must be the worst pool player!" digging the knife a little deeper. The girl hasn't changed and won't.
The bad news for Rachel is her meltdown was all caught on BB AFter Dark! Like Shellie's Mom always said, you can't change the spots on a dog!
I know Cassi is playing the game. You can't fault anyone for that. But I don't believe J&J are her number 1 targets. Especially since she does trust Shelly and Shelly wants to work with J&J.
I believe Brendon and Rachel or whatever one is left are the targets. More now than ever because she would have a chance to play strategically and personally.
And the same people that think Cassi would turn on J&J have been missing the fact that Brendon, Rachel and Dani have all talked about getting rid of J&J because they don't trust them. Granted, they may say they don't want to go back on their deal. But they are drawing the newbies on their side that they think will do their dirty work for them. That's why Rachel and Dani want Cassi gone-because she would be more likely to be on J&J's side.
Based on what J&J know it may not seem smart to put Brenchel on the block. Based on what I know, not only is this the best time to put them up, it may be the only chance. And it guarantees that at least one of them is going home.
And, it's not a slimy backdoor move. You can't backdoor someone who got a chance to play in the POV.

The 'fight story' has been told and retold. Things have been left out, added or changed like a game of telephone.
I watched the fight and all the retellings of the fight. I think any inconsistencies with Jordon's retelling were due to the fact that she was sick of repeating herself so she tried to just hit on the key issues.
Cassi's original retelling was factual. After that she put more effort into emphasizing the parts that made her look good and made Rachel look bad, but she still stuck to the facts pretty well.
From the moment Rachel walked into the HOH and got teary eyed her retelling was a load of crapola. I don't know what fight she was talking about but it's not the one I saw.
The one, most honest statement (which was actually just one person's perspective on the drama):
When Cassi and Rachel went into have not to talk Cassi didn't have her mic. Immediately BB, not wanting to miss a moment of the first real catfight of the season, said "Cassi, please put on your microphone." She left the room to get it and as she was coming back in and the door was still open a crack, I heard Shelly say, "Things are about to get ugly."
Yes they are Shelly. Game on.
