Friday Before Noms
Good afternoon, BB Lovers! I hope you're enjoying a fabulous Friday! For those of you on the eastern seaboard in Irene's path, good luck and God bless! Please be safe and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Everyone else in BB land, it's that time of season... and either we play the cards we're dealt, or we fold. And dishchicks don't fold. hehehe. Could be why I completely suck at poker.. but I lean more towards the fact that I have zero poker face abilities - my eyes tell ALL!
Why all the gambling references? Well, while GenieSea was busily and beautifully updating you during the BB morning, morning being relative as it's now 2pm BBT, I was making my flight reservations for Vegas! Finally! I'm so psyched for TheVegasBash! And... I'm working on a charity component for it, because I'm keen on making my presence there a positive. If you're attending, please let me know! - Kalia, Porsche and Shelly are out back talking about Dani, and how she was able to overcome her father's shadow. Kalia says, "she's the only vet who came on this season and was able to move past her original game play." They're all singing Dani's praises, as bloody well they should be. Talk turns to their final 3 and final 4 plans.. Shelly makes empty promises of gifts she'll be giving. Lots and lots of gloating. Deservedly so... They're still standing. The vets played personally and ate their own.
- Meanwhile in the Kitchen, Jordan and Rachel are preparing lunch.
I'm expecting HoH meetings, so I'll be bullet updating and saving my tootsies for those. Or any fights that break out.. Or interesting convos.. Although Pre Nom HoH Meetings are kind of pointless this week, BB still needs them for the Sunday Show...

Kalia: If we give Adam HoH next week, then we tell him he has to put Jordan up, and he can't play the next week, and we can get him out.

Talk turns to the argument between Shelly & Jeff yesterday (while feeds were down 30 minutes before the live show). It was regarding the thrown PoV comp..
Shelly: Jordan's the one who told me. And when I told Rachel about it, that's when she went to go make the deal with Dani!
Kalia goes on about her BB knowledge, saying it always works this way. It's not about leaving all the biggest competitors to battle it out at the end. It's about getting them out.

Shelly: They're doing pickups.
Kalia: She already did that. If it's something like a DPOV, come back down and say, "Nothing happened."

- Porsche and Adam are chatting in the backyard... about random things, Janelle, and how happy Kalia and Porsche's wins are going to make Dani.. Adam's response, "See, Dani? We didn't need ya to get Jeff out. Even had I gone to final 4 with Jeff and Jordan, Jeff woulda had to go. Brendon said in his speech, I'm gonna vote for whoever played the best game, not who rode coattails. Be good to your word, bro."
- Rachel and Jordan are eating and sighing at the dining table.

Porsche, Shelly and Adam are talking about "Pity Party of 2" and how they're not going to let their funk effect them. Shelly, "I know I'm not getting their votes, so no, I don't have to be nice to them and I don't have to kiss their asses." (**why stop now? you may get separation anxiety)

- Porsche and Kalia are in the kitchen, talking about slop and weight loss.. They go outside and see a pretty butterfly. Porsche yells into the house that there's a butterfly.
- Jordan & Rachel are in the Candy Room. They don't budge at the butterfly news. Jordan has resumed crying.

1/2 flip to Porsche fixing food in the kitchen... and exhannging friendly banter with Adam who heads outside. Adam goes outside. Shelly enters the kitchen.
Porsche: (paraphrasing) You, Adam and I need to stick together and not even talk to Jordan and Rachel... I don't even like him sleeping in the same room with them. They're gonna hate me too.. They're gonna respect that you're not a pushover.
Shelly: I have a feeling I'll go thru the rest of my life without that from them, and that's ok. Not gonna change my life one bit.
Porsche: You have a life. You have more of a life than any of these people.
Shelly: I have a family.
Porsche: It's not like survivor.. It's literally, you're going to be a hamster in a cage. It's an experimental show.

Porsche: And every move she makes is a stripper move..
Kalia: She's like, I don't think she's had an original thought since she got here. On the bright side, now we know how much she sucks without Brendon..
Porsche: Ok, you guys. Win the Veto, win the next HoH and save our asses, por favor.

Jordan: I think the reason I'm so aggravated about getting rid of Brendon is.. Jeff was right when he said, "Maybe we drank the koolaid."
Rachel: People told us the same thing from week 3, saying "You'll never beat Jeff and Jordan." The same thing happens every year. The only reason I didn't get evicted over Jeff in the Double Eviction is I haven' t won anything lately.
Jordan: My season was probably like, "Yes!!!" They hate me n Jeff.
Rachel: They hate us too.
Jordan: It stinks in here.. not knowing who you can trust..

On the edge of my seat for Jordan's interview with Porsche (I really do think it could be comedy gold). If Jordan was the blackmailer that some think she is, she should crumple up on the floor and they will carry her to final 3, and hopefully f2!

Oh my heavens, let it be true - the one just "playing" dumb puts up Adam and Rachel? If this doesn't go her way, that would rival Marcellas taking his fellow nominee off the block in Season 3, I think. Fingers crossed.
I have to start with I love BB. However, i've been a little upset at how Rachel has been treated. when the other girls bash her is okay, but if Rachel says anything everyone want to jump her. Dani, Kalia, Porche, Shelly they are the biggest MEAN GIRLS in BB history. I can't even think of one of them winning the money. There should be a penalty nom for people stealing other people stuff. Let's see who gets evicted, but I hope either Rachel or Jordan can win the next HOH (whomever still in the house next week) and see how the newbies get out of that one!!!!
OK... I will try not to be negative, even though it is hard with these people.
Love how Rachel and Jordan are keeping each other 'sane'. I hope Jordan pulls off a miracle to show those 'lovely and perfect' women on the other side. I love how those 'sweet, moral and smart' women are already throwing Adam under the bus and he is not catching on. Oh my.
Then I hope Rachel wins the America's Vote or whatever it is called. Why? Just to piss off those perfect and lovely mature women who thinks she is a despicable human being and worse than anybody they have ever met. I also do believe that JeJo and Brenchel will be friends outside of the house. They can learn from each other.

Hiya Carolyn! Awesome TORs! And some of them have been massive! I don't know how you do it, but thank you! And thank you and Genie for all the hours you have both put in, especially this last week.
In regards to moderating comments, Genie said I would be surprised by how many hateful ones are directed at you both. Seriously?! That's horrible! I'm sure I would be shocked if I saw any of them. I just can't understand people and why anything bad would be directed to you incredible Dish Chicks.
Before finding you, I looked at a couple sites posting comments and after reading just a few, I kept looking. I was so disgusted by how hostile and mean people were! I really couldn't believe it.
I never joined a chat or anything until I found you. Seeing how well you and Genie do transcribing and moderating won me over! ;)

I agree... Adam threw that Before and After, just like Brendon threw the comp that sent his ally packing. Both are stupid moves and costly in the end.

And one more thing - Jordan is already gathering herself for another fight. I bet Rachel will get there before POV. The momentum is due to shift as well. They are really being supportive with each other. I am hopeful Rachel gets the reprieve she is looking for from the public's perception of her.
Adam really is set up perfectly right now - Jordan/Rachel NEED him, Shelly NEEEDS him (but I am not sure she knows just how much - I really think he'd be loyal to her even he disagrees with her) and Kalia/Porsche think they'll be able to use him and beat him in the end.
As much as I'm not a fan of the backstabbing, I'm also not a fan of the true floater methods of playing, but in Adam's case it just might work for him to the end.

He's been very loyal, doesn't bash and even tells people to tone it down or he leaves when it happens, hasn't been swayed by bullying, and has kept his temper. You're right, not many people could keep cool like he has in that pressure cooker environment!

Don't underestimate Adam's strategy. He watches this show and knows more about it and strategy more than anyone I have ever met. He also knows more about 90210 (other than me lol) and other trivia. He actually hosts trivia every Wednesday.
Anyways, when it IS time to get blood on his hands he will and as someone who knows him, do not be surprised to see him win POV this week himself and do not be surprised that if he does get the HOH, he gets Shelly out and not Jordan.
I think most of the people on this show are quite nice people IRL, it would seem. Not so sure about Shelly anymore, I know it's a game and a lot of money but her actions have been well below the belt for any occasion.

I don't Adam only what I see on the show, but, I think Adam has been true, and he really does stay out of the catty girls. He tries to stop it when they are going on, by leaving or changing subject. I felt kind of bad for him during the show last night, I think Jeff hurt him a little by yelling at him. I hope Adam wins! He has my vote. Porsche is not nice using him and flirting with him, but he has handled it well. Adam has his favs also from the past shows, I hope he and Jeff work it out.

I really hope that Jordon wins the POV takes Rachael down, Shelley goes up and goes to jury... After that, I don't really care who wins. They should all know though that bringing Shelley is their best bet to win if all the vets are gone. JMHO
Some have said they don't see what she did as a betrayal to Jordon. Whether it was or it wasn't the feelings that Jordon had were real and very representative of betrayal. That is the worst feeling in the world when you have given someone your trust and they trample it. Game aside... When Shelley went into the PR and tried to make it about how bad she feels for herself, that to me is classic abuser behavior. Let me hurt you and then tell you how much it hurts me!!! sheesh

I still think a vet has a fighting chance in this game. If Rachel keeps her head on her shoulders she can win the veto then one of them would have to win the HOH Comp this next week then get Porsche and/or Kalia on the block with the idea that they could put up Shelly if one of them gets the veto.

This is my first time to comment. Jordan and Jeff have been two of my favorite reality players through BB and Amazing Race. Tired of all the Mean Girl antics, hope that Jordan wins POV, takes Rachel down, Shelly goes up then goes home. Just want to say that Adam has been playing a good social game....love how he doesn't get involved in the mean stuff!
I'd love for Jordan or Rachal to win (my opinion of Rach has changed drastically recently) Adam or Kalia would be my newbie choices.

That being said I'll say this because unfortunately it seems that most of the comments will be negative for the time being.
I absolutely love this site. I've watched BB from season 1 on. I haven't always had the feeds but I was never a TV only person either. I sought out the information anywhere I could. After finding the Dish I was in love with the great job and fair reporting that Carolyn, Genie and all the Dish Chicks and Fellows have done over the years. For the last several years I have had the feeds because of the Dish. BB is such and fun and crazy show that not being able to know the whole story would be sad.
I love the Dish, Carolyn, Genie and all the wonderful Dish Chicks and Dishers I have met over the years and gotten to know and hang out with.
I hope everyone will think before they post, try your best to make a point without being as mean as some of the HGs can be at times and lastly remember this is game and they people just like you and me and judging their actions in a game is silly. Fans have met all the people who play the game and they always say they were really nice to me. That's who they are, not what we see. They are playing the best way they know how. You may not agree with it or like it but it is what it is.

This is coming from the girl who spent half the summer in a bikini and even did her HOH reveal looking like a Baywatch castoff.
Good Afternoon Caro and Genie! I've been away for a couple of hours and come back to some serious cattiness in the back yard. It's really getting old. I think it's time these women act their ages and not their shoe sizes! It's a sad day in Big Brother when you have to reduce yourself to being in grade school again. I hope Eddie is right about Adam, i hope he brings some sanity back into the house once and for all!
This week will be very interesting to see. I really don't think Jordan or Rachel will make it in the final two. One of them will be out this week. Even if the other win next week, she can't play in the HOH in the week after. So she have to win the veto. After that she have to win the final HOH. That is 3 competition she has to win. J/R might win two of them, but I think three might be too much for them.
However, you can never know with this game. There is a chance that people think they can beat Jordan in the F2 and not target her at all. That chance is very slim. Now that Jordan burnt her bridge with Shelly. Shelly will no doubt try to convince anyone that Jordan can't be beat in the F2. That or Kalia evicts her own alliance member again.
I do not understand why Porsche want to put up Jordan. It makes no sense. If Jordan and Rachel is put up, one of them is guaranteed gone and anyone who uses the veto in K/P/A/S will be targeted next week.
Tossing Adam the HOH next week is not such a good idea either for K/P (you are never safe in the BB house). It is good for the alliance though.
I'd like to thank you for the work you do on the site. I'm not watching the feeds much now because I can't stand hearing the way the 4 of them bash and brag.
Shelly is the biggest disappointment as a human being in the 3 years that I've watched this show. For all her boasting of playing her game her way, she never tells the truth about anything. Yeah, she told Jordan that she felt like she would never get more than 3rd place, but she never mentioned that Jordan asked her point blank if she was flipping and that she needed to do what was best for her. There was the opening for Mrs Shelly Honesty to say she was going to flip. Instead, she blew even more smoke up Jordan's butt.
And one last thing, I just don't understand why most HG's when they win, have to be so mean and nasty. Just don't get it.

They are totally underestimating Jordan which I love! Correct me if I am wrong but didn't she win the last 2 HOH's during 11? She can absolutely win when her back is against the wall. So please Porsche put up Adam and Rachel (would prefer Shelley instead of Adam) and let Jordan win!

The difference between Shelly and other houseguests like her, meaning how they've played their game, is they admit their lies and game moves. She does not, she puts herself up on this higher ground saying she's soooo loyal and honest. Starts crying and acting like she's so innocent. If she'd admit to her lies and deceit, I think we could respect her game more. Its just hard to get past that. And her still trying to throw Rachel under the bus about a 3rd vote, there wasn't a 3rd vote, why don't they see that? But I guess I really don't expect them too, since Kalia ran straight to the 2 ppl that voted her out after she won HOH. what's up with Adam? So he is no longer working with J/R at all? What happened with that?

Eddie, I have to admit listening to Adam since last night I was beginning to have my doubts about him. Reading your comments have given me hope that he is stooping to their level to "fool" them. I was happy to hear Jordan reassure him he'd get the 4 jury votes and then next thing I hear is him bashing the vets. Color me confused.
Hope ur right that he wins the next HOH and gives the girls a big shake up.
For everyone that was hoping for Jeff to go because the game would be boring if he and Jordan rode to the end...how boring is it now?

I haven't been a Shelly fan but what did everyone expect her to do? After realizing she was never going to win sticking with J&J. It's Big Brother not the Jeff & Jordan show. Each player is there to win for themselves and I can't hate Shelly for doing what was best for HER game NOT J&J.
I think Porche is making a mistake by nominating Rachel and Adam. It should be Rachel and Jordan. That would guarantee at least one of the vets go next.
Rachel may be on her best behavior now but she is still one of the most annoying people I've ever seen. So before you want to call people mean girls, think about having to live in the house with someone like her.
My mother said that if one person calls you a mule, ignore it. If everybody calls you a mule, go get a saddle. I think Rachel needs a saddle.

I havn't posted much this year either. I have just enjoyed all of your comments and agreed or disagreed. I mostly disagreed with the Dani faans and those lazy little sheep that followed her, but my real loylties are with Jeff and Jordan. I think they are the nicest couple I have come accross in many years of reality tv. My hope is that they wil marry omeday, but they are very tight lipped about their relationship.
I'm actually hoping that Rachel can win something this time so she and Brendon can have a nice wedding. I still think that BB should throw them a bash and let usd have it televised

Sorry, my coment got lost in the end. I was saying that I think Big Brother should pay for aa wedding bash for Rachel and Brendon. They met on BB and are still comitted to each other. That goes for Jeffand Jordan too if they will ever decide if their relation ship will end in marriage.

Kalia, Porsche and Shelly have been loudly tooting their own horns because they were brave enough to play their own game. They do NOT appreciate Jeff telling them what to do. I guess they and their new Goddess are the only ones allowed to do that.
Hmmm, lets see-how many times and ways did Dani threaten and bully Adam to try to make him vote for her. Earlier today they were discussing nominations and Porsche said they would threaten Adam to do what they wanted him to do. And now they are going to 'give' him the next HOH and then tell him what he HAS to do because the following week he can't play and they will make sure he goes home.

Can someone explain how F3 works? I'm just wondering, because if the reason Shelly flipped was she didn't want to be F3 with JeJo, but everyone says Jordan can't win anything....doesn't that make her able to beat Jordan and be F2 with Jeff? I guess maybe they think they couldn't win sitting next to Jeff? But she'd at least get 50k, right? Heck, I could pay a few bills off with 50k!!

I think CBS does a great job of crafting a prime time show from what actually does happen in the house.
It often surprises me that people sometimes forget this is a game, a social experiment, and none of the "hamsters" are in there to win a peace prize or moral award.
One of DR functions is encouraging HGs to consider all options that can affect their game. It is the HGs paranoia that determins their actions.

Let's compare notes. Dani last week took to her bed, pouted, moped, stomped around, shot death stares and took out her hostility on her BFF even trying to have her evicted.
Jordon and Rachel have taken to their bed for the most part, they are avoiding the others but with the exception of Shelly I haven't seen death stares. There have been tears but also friendly chit chat and even humor. They assume they will be on the block together but aren't turning on each other.
The people outside-they talked crap about others when they were losing, they are talking crap now that they are winning. J&R have not talked too much about people other than as related to the game. They have even criticized their own bad moves and complimented Kalia's game playing skills.
Why does it seem that even in this scenario the people who are winning are still the ones who seem the most bitter and who seem to have the least amount of class.

I'm probably biased because I'm a JeJo fan, but did anyone catch the rest of Jeff's interview with Julie Chen? To me, he was self-deprecating and charmingly flabbergasted....and he answered the "ring" question so adorably!!

Do the mean girls not realize that if Jordan wins POV and takes Rachel off, that they will have to put up one of their own where Rachel and Jordan can both vote and save Adam? Is this because Kalia won't nomiate Jordan? Or am I missing something?

Im so frustrated hearing everyone say, Shelly couldn't beat J/J in the end, that's why she turned on them. Really!?!? All she had to do was win a comp, oh wait a minute she can't. Its that simple, win something!

Thanks for the insight into Jordan and Adam. I think they have both been brought up properly and regardless of the stressful situation (dealing with Jeff at times haha) they have held it together very well. Jeff will realize how ridiculous he was to keep pushing on Adam constantly when he was 100% loyal and never waivered in the lease.
I truly believe that whoever sits in final two deserve to be there regardless of how they got to that point. I wouldn't consider then necessarily 'the best bb players' but then, as I've said before, they are usually the first to go. Of course once the good competitors are out, it's easy enough to start winning comps :)
I don't think Jordan is an angel (close though lol) or that Shelly is satan. They have very different morals and standards and just as Jordans got her to finish line, Shelly's could get her there.
I LOVE BB! I have since season 1 and I will never stop watching it regardless of the outcome these next couple of weeks, however, watching Kalia eat/talk, Porsche gloat/preen and Shelly, well...the feeds won't be quite as useful as they once were :)

I was proud of Adam for standing up to Dani. I would have seriously blown a gasket. But when he comes home to his friends you do have to give him a serious scolding for me. He said Pink Floyd's The Wall was the album to play while watching The Wizard of Oz. Everyone knows it's Dark Side of the Moon.
Kalia: If we give Adam HoH next week, then we tell him he has to put Jordan up, and he can't play the next week, and we can get him out.

just wanted to say to all those game players who said it was a good move to get Jeff out so why is Jordan complaining. The answer is THE WAY Shelly handled it. When Adam decided to go against what Jeff wanted during Jeff's HOH, he TOLD JEFF AHEAD OF TIME. For that Jeff respected Adam. Shelly shouylod have learned something from this but did not. She was in the shadows trying to do everything at night and was to cowardly to go ahead with the vote unless she had three. What she could have done was to alert Jeff and Jordan ahead of time and allowed them to do whatever they could to alter the outcome before it took place. It was the knife in the back that made a good game play into something repulsive.
