Tuesday Afternoon in the Big Brother 13 House
Good afternoon, BB Lovers! I hope you're having a terrific Tuesday! If you've been away from the live feeds and the blog today, you'll want to check out GenieSea's marvelous Morning Report, as well as my Overnight, for all the details to get you up to speed.
In short, Shelly continues her effort to flip the house to keep Dani. By "the house," I mean Adam. Coming up short with Adam on 2 attempts already this today, and leaving him bothered to the point of talking to himself, Shelly is now treading on very thin ice and feeling out Rachel on the topic...
This conversation between Rachel and Shelly started at 12:50pm on feeds 3 & 4, is covered at the end of Genie's Morning Report, and is ongoing right now at 1pm...
Dani comes outside at 1:04pm, and Rachel immediately changes the topic to hotels in Biloxi...

Dani: Jeff cornered Kalia and Porche and said, "just so you know there was never a deal made," and bla bla bla.. Even after he made me a have not, he's like, you might be a have not, but you're not going home this week, so you're still a have. And now he's going around telling people there was no deal..
Shelly: Are you gonna talk to him?
Dani: There's no point.. The only person I can talk to is Adam.
Shelly: I don't know what you're gonna say to him, though.. I've said everything possible.. It's like he's fine to get to 6 and that's good enough.
Dani: That's all he cares about.
Shelly: He's like, then I know I can look myself in the mirror.
Dani: That's not how this game works.
2:15p Porsche joins them on the lounges and the conversation comes to a halt.. Shelly heads inside to grab something to drink.. I follow.. Shelly heads back out rather quickly, leaving Rachel alone with Jeff on feed 1... I'm wondering when and if she'll tell him that Shelly brought up the subject of his longevity in the game earlier at the pool..

Porsche's trying to figure out if she can swindle production into letting her dog come to sequester. Dani wishes her good luck with that.

Just like what happened with my dad and I. I know you're a fan of the show.. I know you're friends with them, and they'll never nominate you straight up, but.. The deal that Jeff said was.. He told me there would be no backdooring.. Every thing I've said to you.. I don't know why you want me out so bad. Obviously I want to stay. I'll do anything to get your vote.
Adam: Why did you out me up last week?
Dani: The truth? You can't tell. Shelly was gonna go home. That was the backup plan.. I swear on my life. On my life, you were never an option.
Adam: Unfortunately, I felt a little hurt by that.
Dani: Rightfully so.. And I was also hurt by what happened the week before. I just don't understand why you want me out so bad.
Adam: Cuz I'm threatened by you.
Dani: Next week, if __ wins HoH, and one of them wins Veto, it's probably gonna be you going up. I don't know what you want me to say..
Adam: When it comes down to it, I don't know if I can beat you.
Dani's talking a mile a minute. Telling Adam every aspect of her game, and how her presence in the house benefits him.. much moreso than keeping Jeff, Jordan and Rachel together untouched in this house.

Adam needs to tell Jeff what is going on because if he waits he will get the "why didn't you tell me" from Jeff and his game may get sunk.

So done with Shelly. Can't believed she lied to Jordan's face last night and said she wouldn't throw JJ under the bus. I hope she goes out this Thursday along with Dani.
Shelly is really reaching telling Rachel. I think Rachel and Adam both need to tell Jeff. Jeff needs to keep it to himself and then proceed with the knowledge that Shelly is not to be trusted.
Jordan will get an eye opener on being able to trust Shelly. Will be interesting, but I cannot see a scenario where this does not come to light. Unless Shelly is a major sandbagger the bigest reason to take her to finals would be you can beat her in all competitions, and her "social game" will be exposed.
If I were Jeff or Jordan and thought even an ounce that Shelly was thinking of flipping, I would have Jeff become Adam's shadow, and Jordan be Rachel's shadow...at least until Thursday!!
I have no respect for SH. She is all bent out of shape over AD saying a Zing about her, but what is she doing to Jeff and especially Jordan. If anyone lied to her face she would be upset. I'm tired of her high morale ground--she doesn't have any.

I've had BBLite on and caught Adam talking to himself while 'napping'. I can tell Shelly's attempts will be futile. I don't see him flipping to save Dani. :-(
I had hope last night and there's still 53 or so hours so anything is possible, but not a good feeling here.

I got a really strong, really strong 6.8 strong feeling this is going to shake up Shelly's game & ruin any possible chance of getting much further. No one can talk this much game trying to to make a huge flip in the house with this much time left before live show w/out it coming out especially with HG who are pretty set with this weeks plan.

Stay safe everybody who is or may be in danger soon. Both our goddesses have nature knocking at their doors. Hurricane Irene for Caro and Genie has aftershocks from an earthquake. Craziness all over, in two countries no less.
As far as BB aftershocks or reported hurricane Dani it seems to be a dud so far. Adam doesn't seem to be budging, which is a good thing. JeJo, more Jordan than Jeff, are still clueless about Shelly's full court press to keep Dani. Even Rachel seems to trust Shelly more than Adam. What is with these ppl.
What the heck Dani on about now? I guess we don't have to speculate who the rude person, in her view, is. Or maybe we do, seems Jeff is her target now.

I hope Rachel runs straight to Jeff and Jordan and tells them what Shelly is up to. What is Shelly thinking? I have continued to hold out hope that she was just doing her normal thing, and that she really didn't intend to turn on Jeff and Jordan, but I think this time it's the real thing. I am done with her! And after the way she's treated Rachel? She's got to be stupid to think Rachel would even consider trusting her. And she really thinks Rachel would keep Dani? OMG, that is ridiculous! I can't believe how much Shelly is falling apart at this point. I guess she saved up all her stupid moves to make at the end of the game.
I have been following along for most of the season. I appreciate this site and the efforts to keep everyone informed and up to date.
I am posting to primarily ask if anyone can answer with authority, what transpires in the Diary Room sessions. It has become apparent to me, because of this site, how much if affected by the diary room as well as how much takes place that the edited show does not reveal. Pior to stumbling upon this site I only watched the CBS version. Thus, I am concerned with how much I am seeing is what CBS wants me to see and not what would normally run its course.
This whole Shelly thing is a perfect example.
By the way, someone commented earlier that this was going to have an adverse effect on her career. I could not agree more. She is a VP in sales/marketing. I do not know anyone that would buy from someone they did not trust. Shelly has proven to me that she is a very good, almost psychopathic liar. If not that, then someone that is very driven to manipulate people to meet her needs/desires.
Thanks for any input on the Diary Room aspect.

I don't get the comments from people (from any side) calling a HG stupid. They have to play the best game for themselves. Because they are or are not doing something to help your favorite player, doesn't make them stupid. And hiding behind an anonymous post to call them that is, well bordering stupid.
I'm no longer a fan of Shelly, but not because she is going against my favorite player. I am actually one of those people who has no problem when a houseguest who lies to get further in the game, maybe it is because I watch Survivor too, lol...but when you lie and then venomously call others liars and rant and rave about your virtue, that's where I draw the line.
Genie my appologies I didn't mean to offend you guys are amazing. I went and re read I made a mistake it was his words. Either way I appologize and thank all of you for the work u do. I appreciate all comments from all sides and believe it adds another demention.
I should have said flag to Jeff. He is lying and yelling dropping f bombs every second word over something he did do. It was swearing it was a promise if the veto is lost Dani woyuld be safe (no purple room or swearing. I do believe the fortune teller is doing something who knows what. Jeff made in no uncertain way he won't take adam or shelly to 3 maybe 4 as the have done nothing.
Adam is the only person other than kalia who doesn't know he's not passing 4 unless he's hoh and will be on the block every week. - love him saying you think I am dumb _ well your proving it. Adam has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Shelly seems much smarter than I thought.

Before I get into any deep conversation, Dani just came outside snarking about how rude certain people (Rachl?) are. She just can't believe the lack of manners. She wonders who their parents were and how they were raised. Um....;0(...That's all I'm gonna say on that subject.
I've tried to look at numbers and have tried to consider every scenario of HOH winner, POV winner, who would be nominated who would be the renom. If I had Dani's jellybeans I would spread them out on the bed in front of me.
As a viewer I have lots of biases. For entertainment value I would like Dani to stay. For who I am rooting for, I want Dani to leave. Trying to look at the situation with no bias and figure out the best move for Adam and Shelly (keep Dani vs. evict Dani) I see very little benefit in keeping Dani. The only benefit would be going from a 5 person alliance to a 4 person alliance. The risks far outweigh the benefits.
Looking at them as individuals the strategy differs. The best strategy for Shelly at this point would be to STFU. Like ED said about Dani, Shelly's gonna dig a hole so deep there won't be a ladder long enough to climb her way out.
I have a great strategy for Adam. Tell Jeff everything. Convince Jeff not to confront Shelly. It won't matter how she votes because they still have the votes to get Dani out. Now it's 3 to 4. Porsche/Kalia/Shelly against Jeff/Jordon/Rachel/Adam. If anyone from their side wins HOH they have 3 people to target, 2 noms and a renom, before they have to turn on their own. If anyone from the other side wins J,J & R will all more than like ly be targeted before Adam. Based on that plan who would you say has a better chance of making it to the end?
Its kinda funny every comment upset with Shelly is an argument proving she's right every comment only cares jejo is safe not adam. Nobodies mad bevause it will hurt adam or shelly or rachel only that it screws jeff and jordan.
For adams game its a huge game changing move that turns him into a real player.
What did Shelly say to Rachal. Did she ask her to vote for Dani?

I don't think Rachel should be the one to tell Jeff and Jordon. Rachel and Shelly don't like each other. It could backfire and make them think Rachel is just trying to cause trouble.
If Adam tells them first, then Rachel could back him up and say that Shelly talked to her too. If they both tell J&J the same thing, then J&J will know without a doubt that Shelly is the liar.
If they ask Rachel why she didn't come to them right away, she has a legitimate reason. She tried to tell them not to trust Shelly once before and it just ended up making her look bad and making J&J doubt her. And also, because they are all in an alliance together she was trying to keep the peace and bite her tongue.
Rachel is being very polite and sweet. I'm so loving her lately :)
Two things I'd like to see happen to shake things up: (1) Kalia to find out that Dani is using Porsche and Shelly to do her dirty work and then for her to start spilling all she knows (which is a lot) about Dani's game; and (2) Rachel or Adam to let Jeff and Jordan know what Shelly is up to so that they can cement a final four deal that will now exclude Shelly. Either one of these two things happening will mean some major smackdowns. I hope Caro and Genie are keeping their fingers iced, because I sense some storms on the horizon.
Shelly is a sociopath. She is seriously demented if she thinks that she can continue to play one side of the house against the other and not get called out for it. Personally I cannot wait for EVERYONE in the house to see what a manipulating lying low life she is. And I'm sick to death of everyone ragging on Rachel all the time. These so-called adults are nothing but a bunch of brain-dead morons. It is disheartening to see people stoop this low. I realize that the money is a great motivator, but I have NEVER seen Jordan or even Rachel for that matter lower themselves to the depths that Shelly, Porsche, Kalia and even Dani have. Somehow Jordan was able to win her season 2 years ago with NEVER acting like a piece or garbage. There's a lesson to be learned there.
So its done in Adam's mind. Now he and J/J need to keep an eye on Rachel, but when she told Shelly she would take her chances in F4 that says it'll take even more for her to keep Dani

Just when I think I am fed up of the snarkiness seldom found in the comments section, and I bite my fingers to not type back and stoop to their level...Grendon appears as a calm, voice of reason, with actual facts and comments that keep me from saying something I shouldn't (and don't really want to).

For being a such a bad game-player, Adam sure has worked Dani up, down, and all around! She still has no idea where he stands and that he's been against her for weeks
I can't believe how controlled and well behaved Rachel has been since Brendon left. She seems to have finally gotten herself together and is playing with her head instead of her emotions. Good for her. I like Rachel. I don't know why she is the target of most of the rest of the house's hate. Maybe they only hate Rachel because they know she can win challenges and they mostly cannot. Kalia's big HOH win was a fluke. She is dead weight. Porsche is so stupid that she was upset in the beginning of the game when she was given a golden key. I still don't think she ever figured out that it was a good thing. Shelly is a mental case. She is more focused on hating Rachel and trash talking, lying, sneaking around, stealing other people's belongings and acting like a 5-year-old than anything else. She is showing her daughter how to become a low life like she is. Good job. And it usually is the one person who spouts off about how "classy" and "truthful" they are who is the biggest liar and biggest rat. They have to keep telling people how great they are because they cannot let their actions speak for them. I feel sorry for Shelly after she gets out of the house. She has shown herself to be such a rotten person.
I'll tell you what Rachel or Adam better tell JeJo soon about Shelly's deceit or it won't matter. First Shelly will vote to keep Dani and then blame it on Rachel, most likely, or Adam. Then when Rachel/Adam say it wasn't me they will a)not be believed or b)be in trouble for not telling Jeff earlier. I can only assume, at this point, they are thinking about it still and are keeping it as a back up plan.
Everyone that is on the hate liars bandwagon....this is big brother not the Brady Bunch house. Part of the game is to get other people to do your dirty work and to manipulate.
Jordan may have won by being nice but she used Jeff as the bad guy and sat back and played innocent so she knows how this works.

Certainly everyone is entitled to their own opinion of what is best for Shelly and/or Adam. That is what is great about this site. But what I'm hearing is j/j fans saying it's best for Shelly to stick with them, and Dani fans saying it's best for her to go with Dani. She doesn't have to get past Dani, she has to get to the end with her. Knowing her f2 deal is with Kalia and she would now be gone, she now can try and make that deal. But she does in fact have to get past, both Jeff and Jordan because if it is down to those three neither will take her to the end.
However, I don't think anyone should be looking to F3 or F2 yet.
I f adam tells Jeff what Shelly is doing he will move up that totem pole. I have a feeling Rachel will beat him to it. Knowing rachel she is very suspicous of her convo with Shelly.

Im really proud of my bb Rachel. Shes been super mellow and keeping her low regardless of the non-stop bashing by the mean bitches, i mean mean girls club. If she stays calm, hopefully Jordo can win the first HoH and Rachel or Jeff the second. Would be awesome. And i have to say, Brendan-less Rachel is 10x better and I really hope she stays that way :D
I was not Dani's biggest fan even in s8 but was beginning to respect her game play in the past few weeks. I was hoping that she would reach a f3 with Jeff and Rach and that would have been an awesome final 3. But seeing her non-stop bitchy attitude towards Jordo and especially Rachel and he "woe is me" and boohoo attitude in wake of her potential eviction has just turned me off to her. She is the biggest cry baby. Wasn't she the one going on making fun of Rachel when she was on the block? How about backdooring Brendan? And all those other times shes done those things to others that shes complaining about now? Give me a break!
Hoping for a Dani then Shelly eviction this Thursday, but not without some drama first!

Has anyone noticed Rachel sneaking and eating Dani's chocolate in the freezer (after R asked D and D said NO)
Jeff mentioned last night that Rachel acts like child. Someone that if you told her no, she was going to do just the opposite.
A few minutes later and right on cue, Rachel (after tipping a few drinks) crept into the freezer and ate three chocolates.
And she did it again today while preparing her lunch.
Dani has been complaining that her glasses and nail polishes are disappearing. Will the missing chocolate put her over the edge?

Michigan Man-I would be worried about Rachel or Adam taking the blame for a 'hinky' vote if Shelly does vote to keep Dani if it weren't for the talk Shelly had with Jordon last night.
Even though Jordon isn't good at explaining things, she has shown that she is good at putting 2 and 2 together when things aren't adding up. I think this time around J&J will believe Rachel over Shelly. Besides, they know that Rachel has a personal reason for wanting Dani gone. Jeff and Adam have a fairly good relationship also.
When Adam comes to Jeff denying that he cast a vote to keep Dani and then Rachel goes to Jordon with the same story, J&J will figure it out.
And although Jordon might genuinely feel bad for Shelly, Jeff has proven that tears are not going to sway him to trust someone after they have broken that trust. In other words, I don't think Jeff will be asking Shelly if she wants to make out this time around.

Not only would Shelly have to get by Dani, but just flipping on jeff doesn't get him and jordan out, and Rachel is still there too. Her plan doesn't make sense for Adam and it doesn't make sense for her either. I'm not saying Dami's DR buddies put this in Shelly's head, but it is strange how she just flipped all the sudden out of the box(I meant blue)

Shelly had a real chance to go to the end and win based solely on her social game. When she got caught two weeks ago she knew she should have stopped playing both sides and now she's going to sink herself.
Adam is playing a GREAT social game, but will never be a major player. He'd be a great F3 contender and could for sure go to F2. He absolutely has no chance if he flips sides this week.
I would love to see Jeff pick Adam for the end, giving Jeff an additional vote in the jury house with Jordan instead of taking her to F2.

So im definitely one of the few Dani fans. Don't get me wrong I know she can be a mean girl...especially towards Rachel. But Rachel provokes Dani...take for example most recently I believe it was on Dani's birthday. I caught it on showtime after dark..Rachel was asking her why she was in a bad mood, dani replied she was fine. I guess rachel didn't like her response. So she just went on this rant and started being so annoying towards Dani.
I wish Adam would listen to Shelly...I think it is a very smart move. It would prove that he made a move in the game and didn't coast through.

I don't know that I agree, but I do understand your point. Once Shelly turns on Jeff and Jordan, no one in the house will trust her, including Dani. I can't really see Dani honoring a F2 with her.

I was thinking the same thing. If this were a decision of whether or not to get rid of Jeff and keep Dani, it might make more sense. But Jeff will still be there. So even though she may have Dani on her side temporarily, Shelly becomes target #1 for Jeff, Jordan and Rachel, thereby allowing Dani to slide right into the finals.
I really hope Shelly enjoys all the camera time she's going to get this week, being a shill for Daniele, because it's not going to last long, if Jeff survives the double-eviction, and Adam clues him into her shenanigans.
Why is everyone drinking the Jeff/Jordan kool-aid. Jordan is terrible at the game, and Jeff applies no strategy whatsoever. Unless bullying everyone in the house into doing it his way is a strategy. No mental skills between the two them. Just because you might have funny DRs doesn't make you a good player. That's all I'm saying.
Adam already knows that Dani has said she wants all the men out. If Shelly is already on her side she will get #2 status after Porsche which leaves Adam 3rd (4th after Dani) so what is the difference with the alliance he has been with and stuck to?

I have been a lurker for a few seasons and have never posted. However, all this commotion over wheater or not Jeff is backdooring Dani is making me mental. Yes, he lied to her and told her that he would not put her up as a renom. Why would he? He is not obligated to divluge his game plan to her. And is not lieing part of the game? Just look at Shelly... My point is that Dani, played the veto and lost. Hence she is not being backdoored. By definition being backdoored is being put up as the replacement nominne without having played in the veto. Jeff would be crazy not to put her up- given the opportunity Dani would have been doing the same thing. I had to get this off my chest it has been driving me nuts LOL.. Just listened to Dani's pitch to Adam. Now all Adam has to do is go back and tell Shelly that she was the target last week if the backdoor Brendon plan fell through. Wow, Dani is digging her grave.

Half the time I can't hear what they are saying and the other half they are using really awful communication skills it's hard to get the gist of it. Being mean is a stress reliever and something you need when you're forced to live with people who are crazy (ie. Rachel).
It baffles me that people don't appreciate the skill it takes to be a strategic player. And regardless of his social game, if Jordan or Rachel win HOH next week, Adam will be on the block if Kalia/Porshe take themselves off. He needs bigger targets to stay in the game. That would be the best STRATEGIC move for him to stay in the game and let J/J/R and D/P/S take out each other. It has him sitting pretty.
But people who are hoping for him not to take the deal are only routing for two players who haven't made a single strategic move except for lying to Danielle this week.

I think that Jeff has been making strategic moves. I think there has been a lot of lying from a lot of people. If Adam stays in his alliance and gets put up as a renom in the event Porsche or Kalia win POV, it doesn't matter because his alliance still has the votes to keep him. If he flips and then ends up on the block, he very well might get voted out.
Dani has said that she is here to win. She has said she has no problem breaking deals. She wants to get blood on her hands. She wants to play a mean game. I am not taking anything away from her ability but she has done nothing to show she is any better of a game player than Jeff (unless you consider killing Dominic-figuratively speaking.) She told Adam she would do ANYthing to get his vote. There-in lies the problem.
How do you believe anything she says at this point? She needs to flip two people-not one. So if she is promising Shelly and Adam anything, then what does that mean. Is she promising a final 4? If so, how does that benefit them? Rachel will probably go home before final 4 if she doesn't win. Too many people want her out. So do you look at the Jeff & Jordon combo as a bigger threat or the Porsche & Dani combo. I would say since Dani will be good at endurance and questions, they are more of a threat. So, does that mean Dani is promising Shelly& Adam final 3. Then what happens to Porsche? Does Dani slit her throat? So if that is what she does to the person who is doing all her campaigning for her, do you really trust her to have your back?
So the anything that she is offering must be even better. She must be offering a final 2 deal. But she already has a final 2 with Porsche (oh, that's right, her throat is slit). So is she offering the final 2 deal to Adam or Shelly? Or is she going to step aside and be happy with 3rd place? Oh, and if Jeff happens to win HOH, how long does it take Dani to run to him and offer anything not to be put on the block.
That's the difference between Jeff and Dani. I am under no illusion that Jeff is perfect. I don't like that he did make Dani feel like she was safe. But I also know she would have done the same thing to him. And I have never heard Jeff tell ANYone that he would do anything for a vote. At least with Jeff you know where things stand. Get to final 5 and start winning something or you're going home. With Dani you have know idea when she is going to push you under the wheels of the bus.

That's another thing I wanted to say. I'm sure Shelly isn't like this outside the house. The house has got to do some crazy things to you, you're all cooped up...you can't trust anybody...you're playing against a bunch of other people for half a million dollars. Of course people are going to resort to lying and manipulating and backstabbing. Sad but true. I'm sure Shelly is a nice woman ouside of the house.
Just like I dislike Rachel, but I'm sure she's somewhat different outside of the house than what she's portrayed on tv and how she acts inside. At least I hope :P
It's difficult to articulate anything that hasn't already been said before, but I would like to address jfsteele's comment. There is nothing wrong with liking Jeff and Jordan for their nice and likeable personalities--being that their way is a strategy in and of itself. I DO respect great strategic players in these sorts of games such as Dani. The fundamental problem this season is that they brought back the veteran couples. I much prefer seeing strangers align themselves and truly get rewarded for their individual game play. This season, if anyone manages to break up Jeff and Jordan, send Jeff home and make it to the F2, I would like to think that person would win!

Jordan is not dumb, I am tired of hearing that. J/J knew to lay low early on that is why no game play till this week.
I could respect Shelly's game if she wasn't proclaiming that that she is being honest to everyone. She hasn't been and she is setting a bad example for her daughter. Forty year old adults don't steal another person's property, game or no game. She is very wrong for doing that. And finally, I have no clue what Rachael has done to make Shelly be so mean and spiteful to her. Shelly's overall actions have been deplorable, IMO. Lying IS part of the game. Shelly's other crap actions are not.

Respecting a player's game and rooting for them are 2 different things. I respect the cajoles on Dani in this game, both seasons...But I'm not Rooting for her. In all honesty, look at all 13 seasons, only BB 2 and BB 8 had the best players win...that's the way of it...good players need to be eliminated as soon as possible...and Adam should know this.
I hope JJRA drop Shelly and pick up Porsche, this could be A/P chance to bring her in and get Shelly out before her and further their chances at F2 deal they have.

I can very much appreciate that Dani is a good game player. But she is not as great as she thinks she is, or even as great as I used to think she was.
She had the opportunity to win veto. She knew there was a good chance she was going on the block. Jeff won veto when his life was on the line. Every big move she has tried has failed. Is she good? Yes. Is she great? I guess if standing on skis makes you great, well then I guess she's great.
The point is, when rooting for Jeff I have never taken away from the fact that Dani is a good player. However, being mean as a way to relieve stress or boredom-I have excused a lot of bad behavior as being caused by stress and boredom. But Dani has been a royal you-know-what constantly. Not when she is stressed. Not when she is bored. It's been her main form of entertainment-belittling others.
The main reason that I absolutely don't want her to win at this point is because she is the whiniest, poutiest, poorest loser I have ever seen. If you can't handle loss with at least an ounce of dignity I would never root for you to win.
Oy vey! You go away for just a little while to work at the job that actually pays the bills and look what happens!

And for my 2cents worth, I truly believe the the Jeff/Jordan/Rachel alliance is the best one for Adam right now. If he thinks he will be put ahead of any of those girls on the "other side" of the house, he's sadly mistaken ... IMHO ...
And, btw, I do agree that once you reach final 5 or so, winning is the only way to guarantee your spot in the house. If he's scared of Dani now, wait until the house wittles down a bit more ..

Ok let me clarify why keeping Dani is a good move for Adam. Because no one seems to be listening to the smart arguments Dani/Shelly/Porsche are trying to show him.
By turning the house, all the targets will be on Dani, then on Porche/Shelly. Adam would be 4th on the list. If D/P/S win, Adam would be 4th on the list of targets. Adam says he just wants to get 6.
If Kalia/Porsche stay in the game and don't win HOH or POV (which is highly likely since everyone can play now) in 2 weeks Adam will be at the bottom of the totem poll with no where to go. Shelly can talk her way out of anything and will vote with the house if she can't turn Adam.
Things are going to change and alliances will shift which is why it is a great STRATEGIC move now to keep the bigger targets in the house in order to ensure that he can float through unharmed. Which seems to be his cowardly game plan.
But like Shelly said, unless Adam is willing to get some blood on his hands (which is how Big Brother is played) then there is no way Adam can win. No one will respect his game, because right now he has none. If he sticks with his alliance until they vote him out, he will still have none. He needs to do something big now if he is in it to win it. That is why it is in the best interest of Adam to make this power play. So that if he makes it to the final two, he can say why this is the first reason why he should win.
He's sealing his fate as nothing more than second place (the first loser) if he doesn't do something soon. He will not put Rachel on the block if he wins next week because he starting to show that he has no backbone.
jfsteele ... Ok, I hear you, but what makes the Dani deal so perfect is the same argment for keeping to his alliance. Jeff and Rachel vie for targets #1 & #2 and no one wants to take Jordan to F/2 with them because she's universally loved or they will go after Shelly because she's betrayed everyone. That's at least 3 targets ahead of Adam so he's still in F/4 regardless. Why screw up his current alliance and step into the unknown? He still has to win something to stay safe after that, but so do they all. I just don't see the benefit to keep Dani. Not for Adam.

I don't see why Adam should change his game strategy (to float until there are 6, which I believe he has said is his intent) just to "show backbone". It's useless if that very change results in his earlier than anticipated departure, which I firmly believe it would. Isn't resisting all the pressure also showing courage under fire? He should stick with his gut feeling on this one.

Just watched a really awkward exchange between Jeff and Adam over Adam pointing out to Rachel that it's wrong to use the have nots eggs to color. Jeff and Jordan are so nervous right now it's fun to watch. Jeff is a big bully and basically just yelled Adam just for being a considerate human being. I really hope that was the push Adam needed to man up and keep dani so she can knock out bully Jeff and useless Jordan (who is cute and funny/likable but still very useless and undeserving to win a dime)

I'm no Shelly fan but she can look herself in the mirror the same way J&J does after he told Dani he wasn't going to put her up. He even co-signed her idea to throw the veto comp. Then went to the HOH room to tell Jordan what he said and that it was because he didn't want her to make waves.
Basically, he lied to her, so she wouldn't fight for herself. What a low blow. Jeff is playing personal. If they were so concerned about getting out floaters, Dani would be the last person he would nominate.
Saint Jeff and Saint Jordan need to be split up if anyone other than them is going to win.

I don't know if anyone is still around but I wanted to say this.
Rachel is not, nor has she ever been my favorite HG. Right now there is all kinds of crazy but it's sure not coming from Rachel.
Dani is a 25 year old acting way worse than my children have ever acted when they didn't get their own way.
Porsche has given a new meaning to the airhead role she is putting out there for the world. Yet she says she wants to be taken seriously and is under the illusion that america is going to vote her america's favorite juror.
Shelly is a 41 year old woman with a child who is stealing other people's things even though she has an item that belongs to her daughter that she would never want taken from her.
Kalia is sleeping in a room with the 2 people who are trying harder than anyone to get her evicted and she thinks they are her friends.
So I think that calling Rachel crazy at this point is just a very shallow attempt at trying to justify Dani's actions.
Jeff is playing harder than anyone at this point including Dani. A lot of people don't like him and think that he is a bit of a bully. If he wins it is because he deserves to. Not because the 'nice' player got the money and the good player got voted out.
As far as thinking there are only two kinds of winners-people who float to the end and win because they are nice or people who lie, cheat and steal and use nastiness as a strategy-I beg to differ. It is possible to play a great strategic game, win some comps, tell very few lies, treat people with kindness, get to the end with 99.9% of your integrity intact and still win. It has happened before and I would love to see it happen more often.
Has Adam or Rachel told Jeff yet about how Shelly is campaigning to keep Dani? If not they both sure need to.
Adam would be foolish to flip now. IMO, him keeping Dani would not be a bold game move on his part but only furthering Dani and Shelly as they can say I flipped the house and manipulated this and that. Go Adam! Stick to your guns and your alliance until it is time to turn!

Jeff is the one who is contantly talking about send the b---- home, and I wanted to strangle her, or I wanted to choke the b----! Most often about people on his side! Calls them all stupid and useless and losers, all the time he does this, with F-bombs flying at whoever. He talks like that even about the billiard balls when he misses a shot! Calls the ball a f-ing bitch--all the time!
I'm just saying that probably only Adam, who is about as important as the furniture to the season so far, is so far immune from having done things that would be truly shameful for people in real life.
This is definitely NOT real life, this is Big Brother!
I'm just saying. Judgment about the kind of people the HG's are can not be decided with a BB litmus test, right? Although the hypocrisy of saying or acting like you have integrity in the game is really just unbelievable every time I hear it from any of them!

Adam and Shelly are talking now and he told her he doesn't see benefit in keeping Dani. He's set on her eviction. Woohoo STFU Shelly!
In the end, Adam knows he cant beat Dani in endurance, but Jeff is no endurance freak himself.
Adam knows he can win quiz or have a better chance to beat Jeff.
Adam isnt stupid, he will evict Dani, cause those girls will throw him to the wolves.

In otherer news... I currently have Cal Fire perforning a MASSIVE aerial assault, (choppers & planes flying repeatedly over my house) on a big fire WAY too close to my house for comfort.

I can't believe all the Dani and Shelly hate. My gosh, they are playing the game no worse than Jeff or Rachel. Shelly is a great player, if Dani goes home, that's who I will be rooting for. Jeff seems like a bully, he will be singing a different tone next week when he's helpless. If Adam is smart, he will keep Dani and let the giants fight amonst themselves and wait till he can pull a HOH and work his own game. Thats my 2 cents.

Yes I've been very quiet today and most of this season. I can't quit watching and I'd never quit the Dish even if I weren't watching but I personally feel this has been the worst season since All-Stars (or as I called them that year and since, All-HasBeens).

Why is everyone drinking the Jeff/Jordan kool-aid. Jordan is terrible at the game, and Jeff applies no strategy whatsoever. Unless bullying everyone in the house into doing it his way is a strategy. No mental skills between the two them. Just because you might have funny DRs doesn't make you a good player. That's all I'm saying.

The comments about Shelly's morale and being name-called as a pathological liar, and everything else under the sun, is irrelevant--this is Big Brother! Working all angles is part of the game and that may include lying. Jeff has also gone back on his word to not put Dani on the block as a replacement nominee this week and his character should not be judged for that decision either. In fact, it would have been a really bad game move on his part to not put Dani on the block. I also don't understand the Dani hatred going on. I personally enjoy watching her on the feeds. Rachel, on the other hand, is not a nice girl and frankly I don't find her bullying antics--when she is safe or in power--on other house guests as a source of entertainment. She is one MEANY. I watched the feeds two nights ago when she was harassing Dani after Jeff won HOH--given the fact that she would have continued to work with Dani this week if someone on Dani's side had won HOH. Rachel has become her greatest fear: a FLOATER.
Personally, I don't see Adam going very far in this game unless he starts winning some comps. However, like Kalia, he will likely never put up the people he needs to (e.g. Jordan) and will happily continue to keep Jeff and evict Porshe and Kalia in order to maintain their "relationship". This will only further Jeff and Jordan's game-which is great for Jeff if they do indeed end up as F2 (as Jeff had promised him today). No one will vote for Adam who rode on Jeff's coattails to the finish line.
If Adam agrees to flip the house, Shelly may have a shot at getting further in the game by breaking up the Jeff-Jordan-Rachel alliance. Otherwise, Shelly and Adam will have to depend on (and secretly wish for) Porsche or Kalia to win HOH to break them up. In that case, Adam and Shelly's game will get even lamer and I may have to quit my feeds.
@deejay58 Except for what Shelly said, he can't win against Jeff or Jordan if they took him to final 2 because J/J has too many people in jury to pull votes. The only person he can win against in Rachel (at this point) in his alliance, but he's made it clear that he wants her to go. He has a better shot at winning if he's with someone from the other side of the house not named Shelly.
If he sends Dani out, he won't have Brendon/Rachel (hopefully soon) because right now he's a floater, he won't have Dani's because he refused to keep her (if that's the case). That's 3 guaranteed no votes, I can't see him pulling all four votes needed from those that are left.
Although this is my first post, I've been an appreciative BBDish fan for a few years.
Is it really possible that DR has influenced Shelly to suddenly campaign for Dani? If so, I wonder if they have a hand in Adam & Rachel being quiet about Shelly's conversation with each of them.
Shelly's sudden campaigning, as well as Adam & Rachel being quiet about it, does not add up. Unless it's to keep the house stirred up after Dani leaves.
I greatly appreciate the writers for providing this site for all to enjoy and I learn so much from the people that post. I start my day and end my night with BBDish! Thank you.

I just want to say thank you guys so much (Carolyn & everyomne else) who makes this blog possible. I have been coming here for years & I get the live feeds through your sight to help contribute in any way I can. I just have 2 questions. 1) How do I donate to this site & 2) It seems in the past years this blog was kept up-to-date much more & had much more details of the actions of the HG's than now. Now it it seems the reports take way longer and we are not as privy to the latest situations in the BB House. I don't mean to be critical at all...I just was wondering why the site I love (& still do) is not on top of its game as much as it use to be. If finances are a problem I would love to help. I just hate getting the latest info from other site's. I just wanna help any way I can. Thank you for all that you do!!!

Why is she useless? Because she doesn't win that much (although she has won), why does that make her useless.
I absolutely love to watch her talk to the others & sit there like she's not really paying attention.... BUT when her & Jeff have their nightly talks, she pretty much has everything figured out from all of the days conversations.
It just drives me insane for everyone to say Jordan is useless.

Jeff and Jordan, reminds me of dumb and dumber...Shelly needs a shrink or better yet lots of medication... Dani is the only smart one of the bunch..Kalia is out to lunch with her "game plan" she doesn't know her ass from her brain. Porche and Adam are good at eating and not much else
