Big Brother 14: Frank and Dan Touch Base

Checking in on our houseguests this post PoV Ceremony Monday afternoon, we join Frank and Dan for a long and private conversation..

Feed 1 and 2

Dan touches base with Frank, thanks him for keeping him safe today, and starts floating the idea of Shane being a threat to all of them at the end, due to people who vote based on comps, because they don't understand that's such a small part of the game.

Frank reveals that Wil is his target this week.. and that Ian says "floaters grab a life vest," he'll put Joe and Ashley up, and he agreed that Jenn would be the renom if one came off.  He tells Dan that Ian likes him, and has his back..

Dan: Part of me thinks that Ashley's like a dream final 5.. even final 4..
Frank: Just because she's so.. SHe's an easy person to beat in a comp.. She'd be a great person to take to the final 2.. I'd hate to see a floater in the final 2.  Even Porsche last year, that bugged me.
Dan: I would've liked to see Jeff or Jordan last year.  What happened?

Frank tells Dan in great detail, revealing how much he's studied and processed the previous season, which was the point of the question in the 1st place.

Dan: What do you think the worst case scenario is for next week?  Winning?  I don't see any of the 6 turning.. I just can't see Joe in the jury house.
Frank: Yeah.. he's just the next head that needs to roll.. And we can still put Ash and Jenn up..
Dan: Not this week, but after next Thursday, if it's all in one show, we have to have it all figured out beforehand, so we're not scrambling.
Frank: If it's the next Thursday.. Ash and Jenn go up, and then Jenn goes home.. We just gotta make sure Brit's not wanting to scumbag us.
Dan: I watched about half of Britney's season.. but I don't remember her ever making a big move, do you?
Frank: No.. I think if she feels solid.. she's ok.  And Shane's a team player, so I feel like if Britney tries to talk him into something that goes against me, I'll be able to talk him out of it.. He feels bad for putting me up still.  He got talked into it by Britney, because he really doesn't know the game.

Dan: I'd like to start talking to Ian a little more, but I don't know.. I think he gets nervous.
Frank: I love watching that kid.. Rock himself.. Checking himself out in the mirror.. Love that kid.
Dan: What do you think Joe would do?
Frank: The one good thing is with Janelle gone..
Dan: Where is he gonna go.
Frank: I had a little talk with him the other day, cuz he had come up and thrown Wil under the bus big time.. I told him, don't be stirring the pot this week.. Keep your mouth shut.. So I at least think, if he thinks we helped him get the votes.. Maybe, if he wins next week, I can get him to go after Shane and Britney..
Dan: Or maybe he'd go after me..

This is ongoing..

Dan: Whatever you do in this game, it's inked. The day you get out of here, people can say, was it really necessary for you to do this, and I was really pleased that no one said that to me.. It's like a board game to me.  Mike's a little different though.
Frank: Yeah..
Dan: You gotta have people like that though.. There are enough people like you and me..
**Dan, I don't think the flattery is going to work on Frank..

Dan: It's such a unique spot we're in right now.. 6 powerful people.. we could roll through this house.  The majority of the 6.. But at some point, you gotta knock those people out.
Frank: Shane's a powerful competitor..
Dan: I just don't know how many times I wanna line up against him.
Frank: If it was just me, you and Mike, going up against everyone else?  Lock n stock..   Adn Danielle's pretty smart  and good at the comps.
Dan: I would love to get her to put up Britney and Shane.  I know Britney thinks they're getting close.. I don't know..
Frank: She's a tough.. She's got that tough nose kind of concept where she might do soemthing like that.
Dan: I wonder how you could appeal to Ian to do something like that..
Frank: If he wins HoH.. and the PoV falls into one of our hands.. and you, Mike and Iwere like, you're gonna have our 3 votes and Danielle's.. so you don't have to worry about Shane coming after you.  That he would do it.  Even if it was next week.  He knows he would have mine and Mike's vote, but he wouldn't be sure about yours and Danielle's.. We'd just have to talk him down the ledge a little bit.
Dan: We oudln't wanna force him.
Frank: We'd have to approach it with Velvet gloves.. Next week, you only need 4 votes.  He's have mine, Mike's Jenn's and Ash or Joe's.  If we approached it like, Hey, I'm gonna talk to Dan and see if we can get him on board.. and he would love to do it.. 
Dan: Mike wouldn't try to intimidate him, would he?
Frank: I don't think so..   Even that day when I got put up like a replacement nominee.. I told Mike, let's not get mad.  We gotta be sweet to him.  I hugged him twice or 3 times.. Mike even came in once for the hug. That's what's crazy.. All the different personalities in this house, and the different ways you have to handle them.
Dan: Some people never see that.

Time check - 4:43pm  This conversation between Dan and Frank is ongoing on Feeds 1 and 2.  Meanwhile, a couple of minutes ago, Ian initiated a conversation with Boogie outside on the couch on 3 and 4.

Ian: I'm glad Frank talked it over with you.  He said he just wanted to look at every angle, but the way he was talking, I was just like.. 

Frank: Even if it was you and Shane? (we've got the votes) me, Mike, Ian, Danielle...

Frank: He's like, obviously I'd like to keep Danielle as long as possible, but rolling with you and Boogs is my number one plan.
Boogie: That's good...  I don't think he'll f*ck us.
Frank: Soon.
Boogie: Not yet. For the mount of people left, I think this was really the best move..
