The Last Saturday Morning in the Big Brother 14 House
Happy Saturday, BB Lovelies! As of 10:30am, our HGs have been woken for the day... Time to entertain us on the live feeds! Let's see what they have to say for themselves!
By the way, if this is your first time checking in to BBDish today and you missed the Overnight Report, it's really a must read. :-) Prepare to laugh out loud.
As of 11am, Danielle and Ian are still hiding under their covers, but Dan is up and on the bathroom couch. He's already said, "Good morning, Chelsea," and in the event he should speak some more regarding game, you'll be the first to know..
Dan's yammering on about his team back home. Danielle's eyes open in bed.. perhaps thinking about how to best move forward, and with whom. Ian's still sleeping.

Danielle gets out of bed and goes 1st to the storage room to change her batteries, like a well trained critter. Then she checks out her migrating, now chin, zit...
Dan: They played two Weezer songs this morning.
Danielle: Wizard J..

Danielle: Some of those songs sucked.
Dan: I think that was a Fleetwood Mac remake.
Dan: So Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday..
Danielle: 4 more nights..
Dan: It's almost over.. (sniffle)
Danielle: You're sad?
Dan: I know I'm never comin' back this time.
Danielle: Even if Memphis came?
Dan: It's bitterwsweet.. I have a lot of memories in this house.. (he refers back to Kara) I coud not have taken 70 days of that. Women.. One I can handle. Together they're a force to be reckoned with.. Jerry said that. Do you think you and Kara would've fought?
Danielle: I would've never let it go that far. I think she would've with Britney.. If you said the wrong thing to Kara, making fun of her, I think she would've gone off.
Dan: Britney cuts it off quick.
Danielle: Me n Britney got into almost a screaming match once.. When we were both on the block. She said, if I stay here, the next HoH, I'm making all of ya'll fall off, and I said, isn't that a little cocky? I get along with anybody..
Dan: I'm surprised Ian got along with her so well..
Danielle: Ian, like yesterday, he was gettin' annoying;..
Dan: How many times have you seen him do dishes this summer? Twice? He doesn't understand how to fit in with everything.. He probably never will either.. When he gets out of here, if he just changes how he responds to some things..
Danielle: He just thinks he's the shit.
Dan: He's just young.
Danielle: I'm only 2 years older than him.
Dan: But you're so much more mature..
***Breathe in the pretty mist.. mmm....
Dan goes to use the facilities..

Danielle: Why are they still building? What is this?! (big yawn)

Danielle: Ummmm... Let's see..
Dan: Is he still in bed?
Danielle: mm hmm. I think I got it down. Got it. And then it was Frank and Joe, Danielle and Jenn, Shane and Ian..
Danielle: I can name all the HoHs.. all the Vetoes.. (she does. we don't need to)
Dan: That's really good. That's all right. You showered last night?
Danielle: mm hmm
Dan: I'm gonna go get some clothes and hop in the shower. (he pops back in to quiz her a tiny bit more)

BB: Ian, please change your batteries.
Dan: Danielle, wanna guess the time? 11:30..
Danielle: Do you still think it's the morph, even though they're still buildng?
Dan: Yeah.. They've had really elaborate morph sets before. You may have to pull yourself between pics.. The fact that it's at night makes me think so more.. Wanna half a pop tart?
Danielle: Yeah
Dan: What flavor?
Danielle: Anything but smores.
11:32a Dan describes the part 2 from season 7.. built for whoever had more uppoer body strength, which was Boogie, not Janelle. Danielle hopes it's the Morph.

Dan: Do you feel well-rested, or no?
Danielle: Yeah. I'm just stressin'.
Dan: Want some water?
Danielle: No thanks.

Danielle: I remember he said something else about you last night.. Oh.. he was like, "what dumbass listens to Joe and Jenn? They were the 2 biggest floaters in the house." He's just tryin' to say that to make sure I'll like take him..
Dan: You know who I wanna hook you up with? My brother in law.
Danielle: Is he cute?
Dan: He's a real nice guy..
Danielle: I'd be open.
Chatter and misting about their continued friendship outside the house..

BB: Ian, please change your batteries.
After 1 more minute of morning resistance, Ian gets up and walks to storage in his underwear.
Ian: What time is it? Yo, what time is it guys?

Ian crawls back into bed and pulls the covers over his head, in a traditional BB coccoon.

Danielle: And now they're gonna do it.. Will ya'll please put Dan's face on the monkey that has the cymbals?

Dan: For all 10 people on the live feeds right now. It's Saturday. People are watching football.
Danielle wonders about her little brother..
Danielle: Do you think that um.. I wonder if he said (at school) "my sister's on big brother." I could totally see him milking this.
Talk turns to friends back home..and some of them haven't signed releases apparently..
Danielle: I wonder who else is trying to get big off of me being here, apart from my brother..
Dan: Big off BB? T.
Danielle: I'll frikkin' kill him.
Dan: Yeah right.
Danielle: Dan, I don't think you understand how bad it was. I almost filed for a restraining order.

Has anyone seen the trailer for Steven Spielberg's new movie "Lincoln"? Someone said, "Can we just give the Oscar to Daniel Day-Lewis now?" I agree. It looks amazing. Can't wait to see the film. Google the trailer for it. Sally Fields is in it, too. I predict an Oscar nom for her, as well.

THANK YOU for another great BB Season.
You mentioned contacts at BB. I have a few suggestions for next season.
All of these would be a category the entire cast would fit into.
Entertaining HG galore. Britney and Renny types would make for a great season.
Leave the sterotypes at home and go with all Crazy BB Fans with an abundance of game knowledge.
Go with a complete cast of people who have never seen the show. Do not give them the tapes before entering the house. The wouldn't know the comps or twists.
I think any of those 3 would make a great show, but what do I know, I am only a viewer.
Still watching Dan and Dani from last night, I refuse to stop until they go to bed, lol.
I think Dani will take it better if Dan won final HOH and took Ian to the end than if he takes her and she comes in second place. Her ego could handle him screwing her out of final 2 better than it could the jury not voting for her. If Dani makes it to final 2, she will be destroyed to not come out the winner.
Dan never promised her a win, at least I don't remember that he did. He just always focused on telling her he wanted to take her to final 2. And in every final 2 discussion in all the seasons, one if not both of the parties always tries to "pretend" it is a good bet because they realize they will be playing for second place.
I wish more players would realize like Dan that you have to play this game from day one and not stop until you are no longer in the game. And you can't ever play personal regardless of whether you like the person or not, to do that is to sacrifice your odds for the big prize.

You didn't cap the very end of their convo in the last post, I understand you had to get the Morning Report going.
Danielle gets madder, makes bad moves in the chess game and Dan says checkmate and walks away. Dani says "you don't have to walk away" Dan says "it's more dramatic" LOL We all know this is what Dan wants, drama i.e. good TV.
He then tells her a coaching story and tells her when the game is on the line, trust the coaches.
Mark will be happy. Dan says to Danielle "there are plenty of times you saved me". This could also just be a very heavy of The Mist.
Danielle really needs to go back to staring at herself in the mirror and quit making snarky comments about Ian. Contrary to her desired outcome, she's just making herself look bad. At least in the mirror she can find someone with the maturity, sophistication and intelligence she desires in a friend.
I just hope she doesn't start talking about herself. 'Herself' might not like what 'she' has to say.
Sooooooo nervous for Ian today. I so want him to win.
I'm moving over here because this is the top post.
Carolyn take a huge bow/curtsy and have a minion pick up all your roses. Bring down the curtain, bring it back up and do it all over again, at least 4 times.
That TOR deserves a Peabody and a Pulitzer at least. I think it was your very best of the season thus far, maybe of any season since you started blogging.
We, or I, talked so much about all the screencaps of the range of emotions we call Danielle, we/I failed to comment on the more subtle views of Dan. I rarely ever go back for a Flashback but this is going to be a must in the slow days to come.
But to my point. (Blue, don't touch my point unless you beg permission. :-p~ )

From the first closeup of Dan in that Blog when he is sucking the straw on what looks like a can of Arizona Iced Tea then through the rest to the last two, his own emotions follow a pattern and I believe gives us a clue.
Without even seeing it I can just tell from his eyes how hard he was trying to fight off a giggle fit. When he stuck his head in his shirt I lost it because I knew what he was doing.
Dan was going in for a fresh supply of The Mist. He keeps it close to his heart obviously.
Then the last two screencaps of Dan complete the picture. He inhaled The Mist and turned into the Mad Scientist. You can see it in his wild hair and wide eyes. The young man (yes, 29 is very young) turned into Mr. Hyde before our very eyes and you captured it.
I bow to you more than usual today. That report should be required reading for all Big Brother Hopefuls.
I'm off in search of my own whiff of The Mist.

I'm sorry. I'm not thinking clearly because I've recently partaken in The Mist. I have a question.
What would be wrong with her destruction/total annihilation on live TV? Wednesday nights are normally pretty boring and AGP could clean up in the ratings if that were to happen.
I think a big ass 'Waaaamber' moment complete with paramedics administering tranquilizers and carting her off in a white jacket that has sleeves that wrap around the back and fasten in the front would assure AGP a long term commitment from CBS.

I also was thinking the same thing about Dan, his hair was wild and with his eyes huge as he was spraying the mist the scene that came to my mind, thanks to Carolyn of course. Danielle looked just like Nurse Ratchet and Dan looked so much like Jack Nicholson and I could just see the BB storyline of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as very appropriate.
Knowing Dan, somehow I believe he planned that look. Then they go down to the bathromm and I swear he has retouched his hair and now has two devil horns.

Good afternoon Carolyn and all my other BB buddies. I enjoyed so much watching the two last night answering Dan's made up questions! Boy does Dan have a terrific imagination. Parts of it were hilarious!

@GayTor you naughty boy you said what I was thinking. If the delay in feeds and start of final HOH endurance was due to Danielle meltdown, can you just see the drama if Dan wins final HOH and picks Ian or even if Ian wins final and picks Dan.
That mouth would be hanging on the floor, zits would pop out all over her body like hives and she would really need that straighjacket. And with a live show, CBS wouldn't dare give us fishies.

Just when I begin considering lightening up a wee bit on Danielle I read the transcript to find she has once again said something very stupid and I realize why I haven't changed my first glance feelings about her since the feeds went live.

She sounds like she will sue anyone that mentions her name and makes a dime off the entire BB Season. Beware Carolyn. You may need to call your lawyer to get ready for this.
Dan mentions "T" which I have to think stands for Trey. I wonder if we can get Mark RollTide to verify this.
Correct me and point me to proof if I am wrong, because as I recall she has said nothing but nice things about Mr. Trey all summer and she even felt some remorse when first going after Shane because she wasn't sure where things stood with Trey when she left. Her remorse was short-lived but she talked about Trey even more and I honestly do not recall a single negative word from her about him
Now she says she almost had to get a restraining order?
Once again she turns a story to the point she becomes a victim. Her narcissism has been evident daily and this is why I can say without guilt, I do not now nor will I ever like this woman.
What I do is feel sorry for her. She needs professional counseling and I hope for her sake and those that know and care for her, she gets it quickly.

OK, I'm not a big participant in the comments, mostly a reader only, but I just made myself stop reading these comments from my iPhone, get off the couch, walk to the hot back room [it's freakin' 106 here today in So Cal] to get to the desktop where I can actually type accurately, so I could say a huge THANK YOU (yep,I'm using all caps) to all of you, especially consistently Carolyn, Lessa, Blue and Gaytor, and a lot of others lately, for all the fabulous wonderful entertaining excellent, put in your word here, comments! I can't believe the season is almost over, and what am I supposed to do for entertainment now?!? FLGirl - Re Night Comp - THey're guessing that becuase they think it's morph, and morph is generally night. If it doesn't happen today or tonight, I'm thinking it'll be live during the finale. I really can't see em shooting a comp on Sunday or on a High Holiday..

I'm still here ... usually get to reading your comments after you've all gone sleepy bye ... but I truly can't say enough about the commentary lately, partly because I'm cracking up! And agreeing! And I thought everything had calmed down after the last eviction and we were going to be bored a bit, but no, Dan the Mist Master has brought us back to life! I would love to see Dani sent to the Jury House and Ian and Dan in the final 2, but I agree that possibly seeing Dani not get the Jury votes would be a show in itself also. I don't know if her mouth could open any further than it has, but possibly ... and here's a request ... I would love to have the "Mist" as a participant at my viewing party ... any suggestions on how to make that happen? I don't want to go so far as actually trying to find dry ice, but maybe spraying water into the back of a fan? Any other suggestions? Bwahaahaa indeed!

OldWoman (who is probably half my age), thank you also. Big Brother is just about the only reality show I devote this much time to. It's a nice reason to stay inside during the hot New Orleans summers. I know some watch TAR and Survivor but I find their format of one hour per week isn't conducive to blogging the same as Big Brother because we have no live feeds to keep us going daily.
I don't think Carolyn could hold up to another show immediately following BB either. By now her bicycle has filed for divorce claiming desertion.
But I stay on Twitter a lot year round and use the name NOLAGaYToR there. Follow me and let me know who you are because I tend not to follow back if I don't recognize someone.
I do a lot of Facebook too but that is 99% professional under my drag name. About all I do there is advertise my shows.

I'm going back in for a larger dose of The Mist... I think I'll ask Chelsea about bottling it. It could be a whole new venture for them and they can sell it on Dan's website.

So Danielle couldn't even finish her burger before she headed back to the bathroom and her special spread of makeup.
Gotta get that first coat of spackle on for the day before BB calls her to the DR for more pearls of wisdom that they surely need for Sunday's fill in show of the entire season. No one else has said anything memorable so it's up to her to carry the show for the other 15 HG's. Such a pooper... I mean Trooper. Yea... Trooper.
Hell, I'm a man and when I put on makeup to make the illusion of a woman I do it in half the time. (Although I haven't done it in so long since I've had to take off months because of my pain issues, I might have to eat my words the next time I pick up my putty knife.)

HI Everyone.. I'm back..
Thank you so much for all your good wishes and prayers. My friend is pretty banged up, couple of broken bones, face, tooth, an d she's going for surgery tomorrow, but all things considered, she made out ok.. and she'll be fine.

So...mark...I have to ask and would appreciate honesty...it would help us maybe w understanding danielle better...did she really undergo chemo therapy and when? She's 23 and said the tumors were involved w her implants...her hair length and health would make me wonder how many yrs ago that was? Is "T" trey? Or is this someone else? What's the story there? This is ur chance to give us a glimpse of "real" danielle...personal struggles that she's brought up on television...are these examples of her honesty...or no? I have to ask because u know her and because I would honestly like to know if this is "delusional" danielle or if this is the real deal.
I cannot wait to see what happens in the next part of the competition! Best season ever!
