And the PoV Players are...
The Big Brother 16 HGs will be playing the Power of Veto Competition today.
As of right now, Frankie's stated intention is to backdoor Amber this week.. She is blissfully unaware.
We'll see how that pans out.. First they must play for PoV.
And the PoV Players are...
- Frankie
- Jocasta
- Victoria
- Christine
- Hayden
- Donny
The HGs are currently waiting for the PoV to begin. It could be minutes or hours.. We'll see you with the PoV Spoiler and Aftermath just as soon as that's available.

So if the one who wins POV doesn't use it, who would go home?
Pretty good pick!
Stephanie they are saying that Jacosta would go home. They want to keep Victoria because her vote is controllable.
Oops-I just responded to Jumbo and Shi Shi but missed the NTP.
Good Morning, Carolyn; and thanks so much for all you do.
I was so far out of pocket yesterday that I couldn't even see the table. No telling what I missed, two cameras for 30 hours, but with all your Dishy goodness, I'm sure it wasn't much. You and sweet Lessa are the best.
What a day to be away!! Looks like Zach was more volatile than a skunk on crack, spraying everyone w/ fear and loathing. I wonder though if it wasn't all a calculated show. I think he lusts for BB acclaim and has decided to play as if he was the Saboteur. We know he is not because AGP/CBS would be flogging the crap out it for ratings. Looked at thru that lens though, Zach is playing a great game. He is going to need to find/add some nimble, even subtle, moves to keep from having all this blow up in his face. But, especially if he can hang in to Jury, that may be his plan anyway... the marauding Goth, tearing down Rome in a season/day.
Rereading that, I laughed out loud at the juxtaposition of Zach and plan in the same context. I would love to see a Hammock cameo where he speaks to us of his "game." I really want for him to be more than a meathead.
Stephanie
Good question. But I think everyone WILL use it. I guess it would be Jocosta leaving since Derrick would rather keep Victoria around
Amber's game is pretty bad, but I will be sad to see her go.
This POV draw shows how much luck plays in BB. All options still open.
@ Steph
I think it is up in the air, probably skewing to which one is most chill. Frankie shouldn't care as both will come after him -- if, big if, they manage to win HoH, w/ Jocasta a tad more dangerous. The rest of the House?? Maybe keep Jo, but this doesn't look like a unanimous vote. What do you think??
@Grendon
Loved your take on the crew, vintage Grendon brilliance!!
I have been thinking about how unstable these multiple arrangements are and how the reorganization may unfold. I think that someone will make the move to formalize an alliance with some part of the second tier group: Donny, Hayden, Nicole, and Christine. (I'm assuming nothing long lasting can be done w/ Caleb, Amber, Victoria, and Jocasta.) Personally I think Donny will be a key component of the winning pact. I would love for you to share your insights about the mid level players. Pretty please....
I think that HOH will tell the person who won POV the plan and the May use it. Or they will lie or tell POV some some story to get it used. So far this year everyone is going with the house, and they will prob tell POV winner if they don't use it they will go home next. You never know, like they say expect the unexpected.
If the noms stay the same, so far the house is aimed at getting Jocasta out this week. Main goal is Amber and I knew a few folks have mentioned Zach or Caleb but Frankie isn't down with either of those 2 choices.
Exactly, Stephanie! If Amber gets wind of it, her campaign would be to whoever has it - to not use it. If she does get backdoored, she seems to be one of the few who could manage to campaign to stay anyway.
I guess Jacosta. Simply because they do not fully control her. And it removes one of Donny's allies.
It also may depend in whether TA has accomplished its task or not and need to retry their zach explosion at POV ceremony. If that's even a possibility.
This is totally random but doesn't Nicole look like Batgirl right now? The yellow and grey and the headband is perfect.
Hello everyone.
@Gramps
Thank you. I'm really confused about this bunch. I guess when I do complain I feel like I'm nitpicking because, for the most part, none of them have been terrible people or crossed lines that would make me never consider rooting for them. As for the rest of the 'main' alliance-
Caleb-I actually believe he would be loyal, even to Cody. I don't think he would nominate or vote out an alliance member over one of the other HGs unless it was a group decision. However, none of the other guys plan on taking him to the end and it doesn't seem as if he's thought that far. He has always treated Christine and Amber as second class (sit there and look pretty while the men work.) He hasn't done much to help his alliance as all he has been to this point is a vote. He has not proven himself to be a beast mode cowboy, or any mode of cowboy. The POV he won was not athletic or intelligence based-it was a crapshoot. With that win, he helped himself, not his alliance. I would love to see him OTB this week. Not necessarily because it's a good game move but purely for my own entertainment.
Amber-I think with the right group (and her own HOH) she had the potential to be a good player. If she lasts and the Detonators implode there is still time for her to prove herself. As it stands, I just don't care. I feel bad saying that because she has actually been a nice person. I just don't feel a connection with her and she kind of bores me. I think she was content to let the guys run things believing that she was an equal member of the alliance. That was her mistake.
I'll split this up since I make my posts far too long.
Thinking further about who would stay if Veto not used, I looked at the list of HG's in the context of the Jocasta Vacation Bible School. That should keep her safe over Victoria.
Christine-I originally rooted for Christine because I thought she would eventually team with the Outsiders. I don't hate her, but she is playing the 'rat' game which is not the same as the 'mole' game.
A mole is loyal to his alliance. He is able to infiltrate the other side and even make them believe he is an ally. He gathers information from them for his own alliance but never shares alliance information with the other side. He is always loyal, only cannibalizing his own when there are no other options. Ian was a mole, loyal to the very end where he proved it by choosing Dan over Danielle, knowing that it was a risky move.
A rat also has an alliance, usually the most powerful/biggest group so they can hide. They also infiltrate the other side of the house. But they only share information with their own alliance when they feel the need and keep other things to themselves. They share their own alliances info with others so that others will trust them and they will always have a back-up. They are not loyal to anyone other than the person that is the most beneficial to them that week. Andy was a rat. He can say to the end of time that Ginamarie was his only true alliance. I believe he knew she was the one who gave him a guaranteed chance to win.
Christine has shared Outsider info with her alliance and alliance info with Outsiders, mostly Nicole. She doesn't seem 100% loyal to either and just seems to want a free ride. She hasn't had to make any decisions and was flabbergasted that she would have to take one for the team. Even if she made it to final 2 (which is highly unlikely) I don't see her with any chance of winning. Maybe if Devin came back and sat in the other chair. Actually, even Devin would probably beat Christine. At least he has a daughter.
Jocasta-I have nothing bad to say about her as a person but have nothing at all to say about her as a player. She didn't get picked for the alliance and unless Donny takes over she stands no chance so I'm not attached to her.
Victoria-I actually kind of enjoy her and think she has/had potential. But she trusts people that already formed an alliance without her. I don't think she stands much of a chance.
Nicole-I want to fly a banner telling her not to trust Christine. I know she has had her catty moments. I am stubbornly refusing to give up on her and my dream of an Outsider alliance.
Donny-Well, as a person there is nothing not to like. As a player, he's trying but he's been on the outside looking in. I want him to have control and to get a chance to show us what he is willing to do to change this game. I am afraid he will target Frankie though, and that would make me sad.
Hayden-He was my fave. I know he has also sank to the nasty bashing. I'm not excusing it, but it seems that no one is immune. I mean, most fans love Dani Donato and think Janelle is the heroine of all seasons and they weren't always nice. So Hayden is the other that I am stubbornly holding on to. He seems to be getting sucked closer and closer to the guys (which is also when his nasty side started coming out.) I'm hoping it's only because they are the ones who have had all the power. I still want him to break away and form an Outsiders alliance with Donny and Nicole.
It makes me sad that Amber could possibly go this week. I am also pulling for Victoria to win POV. I see Caleb making it to F3 at this point. What a waste.
I also think BB has become too predictable. When the HG start planning their own DE it's time for BB to shake things up . I waited all morning for the TOR to post, some of s saw it, others did not, I'm glad it finally showed up. As always, Thank you for all you do ! xoxox
I'm trying to use the flash backs on an iPad, I down loaded photon, but I don't know how to make it work. Can someone help me?
Hayden won the POV!
