Big Brother 16: Monday Morning Before the PoV Ceremony - Starting with the Pao Pao PowWow!
Nothing like a little wake up cray-cray to get the juices flowing! So.. Devin thought it would be a bright idea to grab PaoPao for a quick PowWow before the PoV Ceremony and kind of let her know what was up.

Devin: Listen to me, Paola. When the thing's done. you need to come straight upstairs. Don't talk to anyone. Listen to me. I've never steered you wrong. But if you go and you make a big ole fit, you're gonna ruin everything, and you'll end up being the person who goes home. If you get emotional right now..
Paola: I don't even give a shit.
She heads into the bathroom. Devin runs up to HoH for a minute, then back to the kitchen. Then into the bathroom, where he grabs Pao and pulls her into the Beehive.
Paola: If you don't use that Veto on me..
Devin: No, Paola Paola, listen.. You're being so ridiculous right now. You have no idea what's going on. You're getting emotional, and you're going to go home.
Paola: I don't care if I go home.
Devin: You need to care, Pao! Paola, you need to care. Oh my God.
Paola: You know the deal.
Devin: You know that this is a game, and things change. I promised you I would keep you safe, and listen to me, I will keep you safe.
**Where? At home? You gonna buy her a guard dog?
Devin: I will guarantee you safety.
Paola: I don't care, Devin. I wanna go home.
BB: Paola, please put on your microphone. (x2)
Devin does some dishes. Paola gets into the shower. Devin heads to the bathroom..

Devin: You campaign, you get pissed, you show your emotions? People are gonna get pissed and be like, no, mm mm, I want her gone. You don't know what's gonna happen today. You have no idea what's gonna happen today. But I promise you..
Paola: Honestly..
Devin: Don't threaten me.

Devin: I'm still gonna keep you safe. What's wrong with you?! That's it, that's it.. I'm done talking with you.

Paola: I think my Veto speech is gonna be very crucial... hehehe.. today.
Amber: You practice it?
Paola: No, I changed it.. Something bad.
She whispers to Amber..
Paola: This is what I was gonna say, "I hope you don't use the Veto on me, because I'm the weakest competitor in this f*cking house. Goodbye. Thank you." That would be bad.
Amber: Wow. That would be bad.
Paola: Should I do it?
Amber: Go meditate.
Paola: We got into a fight this morning. I was like, don't talk to me, don't look at me.. and then he came at me in the shower.. I'm like, I'm f*cking showering! He's like, don't explode.. You know how he is with women. He talks down to everyone. He got pissed.
Paola: He's like.. "You're not listening to me!! I just don't want you to explode." I'm like, I'm gonna f'in do me. I'm gonna take my f'in naps, eat, poop and f'in relax. Like, don't f'in tell me what to do.. You know what I mean? He just stormed out. He kicked both of them outa the bathroom, while I'm showering. Who the fck do you think you are, dude?
Amber: Yeah.. That's not ok. I can't believe he came at you while you were showering.
Paola: I was about to lose it. I was legit about to throw a f'ing shampoo at him and get kicked out of the house.
Jocasta emerges from the WC and joins the conversation..
Jocasta: What happened?
She retells the tale..

Upstairs in HoH, Devin is solo.. practicing his speech for the PoV Ceremony. It's a love poem to Brittany..
Devin: I was raised on the foundation and principles that when I've wronged someone, I need to do whatever it takes to make things right. Brittany, I put you up on the block partially for personal reasons but also for my game. You are a fierce and great competitor, and it scares me at times, the safety of my game, not knowing where you and I stand. What is clear to me now, is where you are a great competitor, you are also an even greater person, woman and mother. You have sacrificed so much to be where you are in life and to be here.
Devin: The struggles you went through at a young age, I could've never handled.. To be here right now, you've missed birthdays and all-star games for your kids.. Things you'll never be able to get back.. You are doing this to better the lives of your 3 children, and I respect you so much as a woman and a person.. I was raised by a single mother, and today, I refuse to leave a single mother on the block to scratch and claw more than you already have.. When you've already fought so hard and come so far..
Devin: Today, I'm here to say I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for passing judgement on you. I hope you can forgive me, and I'm using the Power of Veto on you...
Devin: I must choose a replacement nominee to go on the block this week to go up against Paola. I have made it clear.. You heard me speak about sacrifices in order for Brittany to be here. Individually, we have all made sacrifices to be here.

Outside on Camera 4, Donny and Amber are having a love fest..
Donny: I just don't wanna get a divorce.
Amber: Someone would be crazy to divorce you, Donny.
Donny: Can you say that again?
Amber: hehe. You're a good guy.
Donny: Yep, it's cookin'. It's warmin' up. Just waitin... Waitin' for the Veto meetin'.
Amber: I don't know what's gonna happen.
Donny: He stays up in his room a lot, don't he.
Amber: You never know with Devin.
Donny: Hey, look who you're talkin' to.
Amber: I know. I didn't think that was right. You didn't deserve that.
Donny: All these young fit guys, and he was worried about me. Kinda makes me feel good. I had the biggest guy shakin in his shoes. hehehe!

Camera 1 -- Jocasta's putting the finishing touches on her hair. She drops and breaks the straightener. Pao, Christine, Nicole are also present.

Frankie: I dreamed we were all being tortured, like real torture.. It was a very Happy Potter like dream.

Frankie:I can reenact the whole thing.. Where would you like me to start..

Frankie thinks for a moment, then he launches into a truly incredible recitation.. skipping no detail. The couches are filling up.. Everyone's outside waiting for the PoV Ceremony to begin.. and listening to Frankie's Harry Potter.
Frankie: "Uh, Frankie, we need you to take off your sunglasses." NO!

Devin is rehearsing his POV ceremony speech. Brittany's understudy (the parrot pillow) is standing in for her. I was waiting for the part where Devin dropped to one knee, softly cupped the parrot's cheeks in his big ole hands and said, "Birdie..., I mean Brittany, will you, single mother that you are, do me the honor of marrying me and my daughter."
Oh no...i have to go to physical therapy and they haven't had the veto meeting yet!
I'll catch up with everyone later.
I can't listen to much more of Pow Pow's smacking and crunching. lol
What kind of meds is Devin on? He seems to be loosing it always.
Did Devin discuss his pretend crush on Britt with Britt, or did he leave her in the dark? Anoyone know?

Thank you Carolyn for all that you do! I am a very long time reader, but rarely leave comments. I felt that this was important for me to say. I truly think, after watching Devin, that he is either schizophrenic or has bipolar. I have been around mental illness most my life, and he shows some true characteristics of this. He seems like he is always having a conversation with someone in his head, shaking it or nodding when no one else is around. My question is this: How did BB miss this when they were casting? Do they think that psych meds are just for headaches or anxiety? There is a reason why Devin and past houseguests should not be confined to the BB house. When BB gets their meds, shouldnt they be able to contact a doctor? Or do they do that already?
I dont know, but again, thank you for all your work and devotion to making BB always fun. I love, love, love all your side comments:)

I think I might throw up at that POV speech. The guy is manic or has roid rage, either way he is domineering and just an overall d-bag towards women. I hope Pao does let him have it, while she may be loopy, the girl has cajones.
Holy guacamole batman! The guys in this cast...smh. I feel really bad for Pao. I think I would have at least splashed him with water. That felt scary even from here, I can imagine her poor little heart was racing!
The fact that he doesn't think what he is saying is nuts, says to me that he has some sort of mental disability and they aren't getting his meds right.
Good morning, Carolyn!! Loved the TOR. I've been thinking about all the craziness w/ these hamsters and I wanted to share this for general consideration.
Frankie said something that really sums up the game so far. Roughly, "Doesn't anyone know how to play this game." Couldn't agree more; but there's more going on and almost nobody ever gets it.
We always speak of the trilateral nature of Big Brother: This game, that house, these people. Of these, the house tends to be overlooked. They shouldn't. I have thought from the beginning of BB that the house was like an additional stealth player. No matter where you go it is still there, and it has seen everything over the years; and it doesn't care. It just bakes everyone equally and like a monster pressure cooker, it makes everyone crazy, bringing out their insecurities. One of the worst parts of the house is the HOH room, especially if the HOH isolates themselves up there... paranoia strikes deep.
There is only so much one can do about this reality, like having a trusted buddy, especially in the dark of the night...assuming anyone ever sleeps. Just chill and let the game come to you. This isn't a sprint, don't expect to resolve your conflict in 47 min like regular TV. And don't start a fight w/ someone when they are the HOH. It's Biblical, there's a time for...and there's a time for....
The house demands its dues be paid and the currency is patience.
What I can't understand is the rest of the house. What were they THINKING leaving him alone with a naked girl? She's so damn tiny and NAKED and WET and he's standing there threatening her! Why didn't one of these cowards say NO, we're NOT leaving you alone with pao pao. She's naked dude come on, wait till she's got her clothes on and then talk to her.
I think I'll feel better when they backdoor this dude cause they can't just flat out nomimate him, he'd win and take himself off the block.
I've been always wondering what medicine do they get? Does every cast member get something? What's the deal. I've always wanted to ask

Last night I was melting for sleep in my chair while watching the feeds. I had an early doc appt this morning, but like a ten year old, I was afraid I’d miss something good in the house. I watched the clocked for two hours, marking how many minutes until Carolyn wakes up so I can go to bed. At 11:57 I shut everything down knowing the pro was rising to step in and keep notes. Thank you, thank you!

Was hoping a female would be one of TA, like Nicole or Christine. Derrick was so excited he couldn’t stop chattering last night. Donny held a nice grin at their reveal to one another, but Frankie didn’t seem as excited about being in the same ring with the other two.
Derrick said, “I know now that I can trust you two because America is telling us by choosing us, that you’re whom I can trust.” Umm I’m not sure Derrick can completely trust Frankie; no question about it with Donny.
I pray America doesn’t give them tasks that could be detrimental to their game. (fingers and toes crossed)
My doctor explained to me this morning that he feels two more surgeries are necessary. I told him I’d like to take a month or two to think about it. Honestly, knowing in my heart that at least one of them HAS to be done and I should probably just get it over with, I didn’t want it to interrupt the BB season for me LOL
It’s going to be a great week everyone, fasten your seatbelts, this is an E ticket ride!
I hate to say it, but I honestly think they need to do psychological tests on these HG's! Devin seriously frightens me!

The only med I know of is Vyvanse. Frankie yelled to him one morning to go get his 100 mgs of Vyvanse from SR. It is for ADHD.
Hey Carolyn!! I have been a little slow to post this season but I have been keeping up with your overnight reports and just wanted to thank you for your time :)
Devin is certainly a freaky deaky. I am a cop and his actions have me concerned for Brittany right now with his "teenage crush" he has for her. If and when she rejects him I hope his meds, whatever they may be, keep him from doing something regretable. I also hope CBS has security readily available.
I have to admit that Frankie is my favorite in the house right now. His personality is infectious and to see how all the guys are acting around him is not only shocking, but also refreshing, especially after the cast antics last season.
The sleeper in the house is Derrick. (I call him 21 Jump Street). Honestly I think his profession as an under cover narcotics cop gives him quite an advantage over the other house guests.
