RIP Grandpa Grande
Last night, unbeknownst to him, Frankie Grande lost his grandfather. Today, Frankie's sister Ariana has been tweeting of her love for her grandfather, as well as her gratitude for the love and support received. With regard to Big Brother 16 and Frankie's remaining to play the game, she tweeted this:

So so sad! My heartfelt prayers go out to Frankie and his whole family! This has got to be hard on them especially with Frankie in the BB house.

How hard for the family. I wonder if Frankie knew this was a possibility before he came in. I can't imagine his family not telling him...but if they do he'll want to go to the funeral and have to leave the show. A lose-lose situation. So maybe not telling him is the kindest thing...although I would want to know. The few times information has been withheld from me while I was away made me very angry when I found out later. Selfishly, I love Frankie on the show and hope he stays. His grandfather did, too, according to that tweet, so Frankie should stay.
I remember watching BB during 9-11 and hearing about the cousin of a hg dying. She was told, though, and stayed on the show.
Wonder what will happen...

😢 :-( So sad for Frankie. And the family. I can't imagine how awful a decision to tell or not to tell. And how sad Frankie will feel after the high go BB.
They [BB] will probably let him know... although, they never told Brittany about her house burning down . . .

It looks like Grandpa's wishes were for Frankie to not be told so he could remain in the game. I can't imagine how devistated Frankie's going to be when he finds out!
I know Ari would much rather have her brother with her during this time. I believe the family are going to respect Grandpa's wishes.
So heart breaking.
Telling Frankie now won't change anything on the outside. Not telling him may leave him with a lifetime of regrets. That is a very hard call to make and should definitely be left up to the family to decide. They are the ones who know and love him and have his best interest at heart.
I have talked about my own grandmother here in the comment section for the last couple seasons. This season, grandma isn't with us anymore. She died in October, a couple weeks short of her 93rd birthday. She did not die in that God awful nursing home she spent a few months in, nor did she die in a hospital. She passed away in her sleep in her own home and I can feel better knowing that is what she wanted all along.
Prayers for them all. What grandpa said about him staying in BB made me cry. This makes me hope that Frankie wins it all now more than ever! RIP Mr. Grande.

Before he went in the house..if he wasn't sick then he should be told so he makes the decision to stay or go
My sincerest condolences go out to the Grande family. May they all be embraced with love, comfort and understanding. However and whenever Frankie is told, I pray that he is accepting of the decision made and have no regrets. I'm sure Ariana will be his greatest source of support.
My condolences to you and your family as well Grendon. May you continue to be comforted in the fact that your grandmother was at peace in her transition. May she rest in heavenly peace. I'll be praying for you.
I think Frankie should be told and let him decide if he needs to leave the game or not. They can tell him Grandpa said to stay, but if it were me, I would want to make that decision for myself. If they don't tell him and he would have wanted to be there for the funeral, that will be an issue within the family for the rest of their lives. Frankie is entitled to make the call on this one.

Ohhhh, not happy with Frankie as a player lately, but this truly sucks. But, this game is about no outside influences of any kind... so I guess Grandpa knew what he wanted. Just not sure how Frankie will react missing his funeral and such. I wish they can have a separate memorial service down the road. So sad. :-(
I know Big Brother told Evel Dick about a friend being in the hospital and he left in BB14. Not sure what I would have wanted... it would all have depended on my relationship before I went into the house. It seems Grandpa was sick for a while.
Not the praying kind... but sending good vibes to the loved ones.

Monica's cousin was 'only' missing at that point... I am not sure she knew the immense damage of the situation not having seen it or the news. But she felt at that point there was nothing she could do to help. She was also out within the week... so any funeral she could attend.
