Securing the Votes
As tonights show was airing, on the feeds:
HoH Room
Dan, April, Ollie
April and Ollie have Dan in the HoH trying to secure his vote to get rid of Memphis.
- ***Little do they know America is controlling Dan's vote this week...
Dan suggests April has "The Seven" meet to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Dan asks April if there is a problem among the group shouldn't she consider what the group wants. April says no. She feels the group voted the way Keesha wanted last week so they should vote the way she wants this week. Dan reminds April after the big blow up the group may have other ideas on who should go.
Dan: After the blow up I wasn't sure there was a 7 left.
Again he suggests she call a meeting.
Dan: Do you have an agreement with Jessie?
April: No..
Dan says if she hasn't given Jessie her word, she needs to keep the option of voting him out open.
Ollie asks Dan if he had a preference in who goes home. Dan tells him he could go either way.
- ***Ain't that the truth.. LOL
Ollie asks Dan if he's been approached to vote Jessie out by anyone, and Dan replies, "Under my impression, I didn't even know there was any dissent."
April goes on a bit more about the value of Memphis' car prize, increasing the value by another 10k, and how she can't bear the notion of him winning anything more on top of that.

Maybe my least favorite HG will no longer be Libra... Keesha is climbing up the ladder fast with her cattiness and jealousy. First she says she can't stand April, and that it has nothing to do with her looks. Obviously she wants to be the only HOT girl in the house. She got rid of the Hotness aka Angie and now she wants to get rid of April. She says her friends are much better looking and on and on it goes. Keesha... You want fake, look in the mirror.
Memphis is playing the "I hate her too" card very well. ;-)

April is going to freak the next couple of days. Boy, Dan can play it so good. He always finds the right words to say. Just because everyone decided to follow Keesha last week is not Keesha's fault. It's their own fault for not doing what they wanted & playing their own game.
If April was smart she should tell Keesha that last week she voted the way Keesha wanted them to vote and that she expects the same in return... and if not, Keesha will not get her vote if she is in the F2. Michelle should say the same... as should Jerry. Because with three votes in the F2... screwed.

Online voting is now going pretty fast. It certainly lets you vote more than 10 times. They may only count 10, not sure - but it doesn't tell you that you can't vote any more. I'm so hoping that this new group discussion doesn't change their minds on voting Jesse out. Their group "make up sessions" don't always go the way they should. Thursday can't get here soon enough.
I don't think Dan gets a choice in whether or not he "accepts" America's vote. If I'm remembering correctly from the last AP, as he was called into the DR to cast his vote, Julie said, "as AP his vote will go to ____, but we'll chat for a minute to keep up appearances.". Anyone else remember???
Also, one of the things that originally turned me off of Dan was his comment in the beginning that he knew he would have to do things that would go against his religion, but that he would just go to confession when he got out and it would all be good. So I don't think breaking his word is a big worry for Dan.
Of course now I am all team Renny/Dan!
Dan "America" is going to be the deciding factor. Because right now it is 3 to 3. Crazy.
I have Vote 2 times on cell and 5 times on the net. I so want to see what is going to happen when jessie walked outs the door.

Although, Jessie and his reaction to Dan's "Monica" story was quite ... weird ... to say the least! lol
And Jerry thinking he knows it all just drives me crazy! I was watching yesterday and he said something about Crazy James having some nude photos out there that BB didn't know about prior to his casting.. then he said "but it's okay they covered it up"... NO THEY DIDN'T!
It just irritates me that he thinks he knows it all about BB... He's so confused sometimes!

April's brattiness got on my last nerve tonight on the show...I dont see how Ollie handles it. Obviously all the HG's have to be a little selfish when playing for that kind of money...but I can't believe she is acting the way she is...*ME ME ME*! I want her to get a major shock/kick in the rear on thursday!!!
I would agree that Memphis had to go if April's argument was about strategy....but it's not. It's about a CAR!! It has nothing to do with his game or his personality or friction with anyone other than Jerry???
April is not a great HoH, about as effective as Keesha's arguments last week.

Is April ridiculous or what? It's NOT her decision at this point as to who gets voted out. Her role and only role is to nominate - that's over. done. finished. Power has gone to her bleached blonde head something fierce. And while I'm on April - I wish Ollie could convince her to ditch the makeup - if she's going to wear it it at least needs to match the skin tone of the rest of her body.

OMG.....I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dan!! He's really come out on top since week one! So glad he's AP & can't wait till they vote out Jessie on thursday! I hope Libra does the "smarta$$" wave to him as he walks out the door trying to figure out why the HG don't love him as much as he loves himself!! Now it will be game on & everyone for themselves. I think Keesha deserves credit. She knew Angie was a threat. I feel it was a strategic move on her part to get everyone to team up with her & vote her out. Now Angie is gone & she has made a big move in dividing the house & getting the ones she feels are the best players, so far, on her team to get out Jessie. She & Libra have figured out quite a bit about people in the game & Renny has helped them in seeing things too.
Does anyone think Renny is falling for April's reasoning about Memphis? This is starting to scare me a bit.
Why are they fixated on the "Memphis can win the game" comments? Uh... they're the ones voting! Plus, it was--who do you think would win, Memphis or Jessie? Of course no one is voting for Jessie to win at the end!
I voted online about 100 times since the polls opened. If the vote turns out that America wants to evict Memphis and keep Jessie, I will cry foul.

I went and read the blogs on cbs and I think you might be right. There is a big movement to keep Jesse for the fireworks value. I was really surprised how many want Memphis gone. What's wrong with these people? lol

I agree regarding Jerry. Obviously he doesn't fit in with the rest of the HGs (I think even Renny relates more to the younger folks), but the type of things that are said about him are upsetting to me. It all stems from a lack of understanding, as well as general self-centeredness and superficiality. I'd almost like to see him go next week for his own sake.
I never disliked Michelle and I really couldn't understand why people bashed her constantly in the message boards. After seeing her reaction to the "uni" I can't stand her.
First of all, she screamed at BB that they had humiliated her and never considered that she humiliated herself by throwing a tantrum that I would not let my 6 year old get away with.
Second of all, two other people survived the uni. Obviously Jen isn't a good comparison because she loved herself in anything. But Sheila spent the whole first half of the game bitchin' and moanin' and she was still able to wear the uni with dignity, style and a sense of humor.
I can understand being disappointed about the vacation, and I am not Libra's biggest fan, but I gotta stick up for her on this one. Michelle would have done the same thing in her position. Calling Libra a skank, a ho and saying she should have her kids taken away-that was disgusting. Sheila didn't cry that much when Ryan took the ten thousand from her. And she is a single mother!
And by the way Michelle-quit being a martyr. It's not winning you any fans. They said you don't have to wear the uni to sleep in. The two previous uni wearers didn't sleep in it. If you feel the need to prove you can wear it 24/7 then just do it and shut up about it.

I am just figuring this pogo thing out. Don't know canasta, but love backgammon and am a fair scrabble player, used to play it a lot years ago, not so much now.
I am hopin that this meeting calms suspicions of A/O/J/M/J. But am disappointed that things have been so calm. Please don't anyone defect now, I am going to be glued watching for any signs of weakness.

I agree with MsFitz- Angie would have certainly done some damage had she stayed in the house. That's partly why I want Memphis to stay! Like Angie, I think he's pretty concise in his actions and knows what he's doing. It would be a shame to get rid of all the potentially great players and only leave the crazies in the house.
I also think Keesha and Libra deserve some credit for their gameplay. Keesha broke ranks, leaving the mob mentality behind, which is what everyone has been moaning about for a while now. And it seems Libra has learned how to shut her trap, which is only going to help her placement in the game. Also she's really not that bad in the competitions, as seen by tonight's veto and her other second place win in the HOH that Keesha won.
Keep Memphis! This new alliance of Dan, Libra, Keesha Renny and Memphis won't last long at all, and it will bring it's share of priceless DRAMA!

Thanks. You & I on the same page as far as why we should keep Memphis. We all know this alliance of K/L/R/D/M can't last forever but the ones that are in it, so far, have played a good game & I truly do not believe that the only moves they have made are based on emotions, cattiness or jealousy.
