Jerry: I can't compete in the next HoH competition... It's only the last one where can you compete back to back.
Renny: Did you know?
Jerry: I wasn't sure... I know now!
Renny: Wow. That's big. When did you find out?
Jerry: Just now.... I just asked.
Jerry steps away to lift weights. Renny and Keesha continue quietly.
Renny: That's good news for y'all.
Keesha: Or you.. I bet he is pissed right now.
Renny: Did you know?
Keesha: Yeah. Memphis asked. I thought you were out here when he said it.
Renny: No.
Keesha: Crazy, huh? That's huge. Bad news on Jerry's part. Whew!

When Jerry gets a little too loud for Memphis' liking, he goes inside and becomes grill prep master. It's very cute, actually. Memphis is totally in his element.

Oh My Gosh, I forgot to note this earlier, but last night on BBAD when Memphis was imitating Jerry as he watched Keesha workout was SOOOOOOOOO FUNNY! I was laughing out loud and woke up my hubby! HaHaHaHa!!!!!! They were having a lot of fun in the house last night and they were cracking me up!!
heehee now Jerry knows about the next HoH.
I saw Bunky on House Calls last week and he said that he wouldn't vote for Memphis because he won a car and April might not because after all the car must be worth one million by now.
I would love to see Keesha in the final 2.

Oh well, Jerry finally asked about the next HOH and BB told him that he could NOT compete. As much as I would have liked to have seen him surprised about it on Thursday's live show. I'm just happy that WE have confirmation about this.
I was a bit worried because last night when Memphis discussed the BB rule book with Keesha in the kitchen, he said that it did NOT specify numbers, as in HOH comp with 5 left, HOH comp with 4, with 3, etc. He said that the rule book simply said that at the end of the game, whether the current HOH can compete in the next HOH is up to the discretion of the producers. That means BB can do whatever suits them! So, I was concerned, given all the poor little old man underdog editing, that BB would let Jerry compete in the next HOH.
As for Renny, I think after she goes this week, BB should ask her family if they would like a phone call. I think this is an extreme circumstance, and if she is only in the jury house, they should allow a monitored phone call if that's what her family wants.
Gaytor - glad to see you checked in and are safe. Hoping the same for all others affected by Gustav.
BTW, I haven't mentioned this yet but I have a Gizmo too! Well, my puppy's name is different, but she looks just like Keesha's Gizmo. I remember watching the premiere episode of BB this season, I had to rewind it to show my husband the part where Gizmo was jumping in Keesha's bag. Our little puppy looks just like Gizmo. Well, actually, her face is a bit cuter, but I'm a biased mom! I bet Keesha is hoping that JJ smuggles Gizmo in a bag to the wrap party!

Housecalls wasn't on today I don't think. I tried it at its regular time and it was showing an old episode of BB. I guess they had labor day off. I was bummed because Monday (Dani) is my favorite day, and she loves Dan (has from the beginning!)

I'm having the most remarkable moment. I'm on the phone with my daughter in CA. We both quit talking and just listening in silence to R&K.
typing with your head cocked to one side trying to balance a telephone is not easy!!
So, Jerry can't play for HOH on Thursday. Now, all we have to worry about is the next POV! If he manages to get the POV, that will stink!
If Jerry doesn't get the POV, the best part is that they don't even have to wait a week to show him the Exit door. I think after this Thursday's live eviction, the next one is next Tuesday, 9/9. Oh boy, yippee, Jerry should be gone a week from tomorrow!
I love Keesha and Renny! I really believe that they will be friends for life! They are 2 of the closest HG's that I can remember in a long time, really enjoying each other. Dr. Will and Boogie are the other ones that come to mind. It kind of did work out nicely that neither of them have to vote the other out. (if they couldn't get to f2)

lee - I was just thinking the exact same thing, that Renny will be like an aunt to Keesha's kids, send gifts, stuff like that. Except Dr. Will and Boogie, this is the most real friendship to come out of the show. I also think Keesha and Memphis will stay friends since they are local, the Keesha and Renny will be family.

Hi Carolyn, Hi all! (jumping up and waving, and blowing kisses)
Other Grandmother kidnapped me this morning for the day. We went to a place called Smithville(You New Jerseyans must know it).
Had lunch, went through all the shops, bought some great coffee, Jelly Bellys,and Cheeses. Stoped at Other Grandmother's son's house and met the chinese exchange student that will stay with them for a year. Poor thing dropped a fire extinguisher onher foot while we were there(luckily only a bruise, thank God).
Just got dropped off and bolted here to catch up.
I wrote the coolest and most thought provoking post last night only to delete it by mistake and couldn't remember it all so thought screw it and went to bed. boy, did you all miss out on something.

Blue, your cookout sounds like a wonderful time. I loved days like that with the granddaughters. Of course I always grt in trouble with my daughter then for things like Silly string etc. found a little bubble maker for them today.
Loved the puppies. I am so tempted since I plan to get a puppy/ dog now but I am sure they are far lout of my budget. That is a mix I really like though, and small enpough to travel with, a big factor for me.
I watched the entire thing last night. Is this perhaps Jeery's evil twin we are seeing? And the one with his family is the real Jerry? Or this is a parallel universe and some how Jeery/Jerry have switched?
If Jeery can't tell the difference between playful imitation of your FRIENDS versus the vile, disgusting bashing he does than he is ignorant(of course he is)
It was such an odd night to keep switching from the 4 having fun and playing and enjoying each other to Jeery entering and the mood changing immediately. Watching as they would try to make their escapes as one would remain uncomfortably stuck as last man with the nasty old fart.(sorry Carolyn)

They are gonna need the grill Thursday when Renny leaves. They will be able to survive and eat afterall without her there to cook for them.

Got a call from my ex who lives in Baton Rouge. They weren't under evac, but he said they got a lot less rain then they thought they would, only about 3-5". They were hit by strong winds for several hours and are without power, but he said it wasn't that bad. His first hurricane and he was very excited.
Memphis was just talking last night about how much he loves to grill. He said he went to Loews's one day & bought a huge grill! And, that he learned from his Dad that you don't just grill 2 steaks or 2 pieces of chicken. You grill lots & lots at one time. Said his Dad used to get up @ 5am to start grilling when they were having a party.
Can anyone please tell me what in da heck Renny made that has Keesha screaming orgasmically? I want some!

Carolyn, Just want to tell you how nice it has been hanging out with you here the last two nights. Don't get me wrong The entire season has been great, but this has been a particularly caring, fun, sharing place to be the last few days. Partly, because certain people have left the house and that puts all of us in a better, kinder mood. Boy, will we be sickenly sweet once Jeery leaves.
It is also been wonderful to see everyone coming together with Fay, Gustav, and other things to show support and caring(sickness, surgery,personal upsets, sadness, falling in pools, etc....) I know we will all be there should Hanna come anyone's way or any other unfortunate events.

Noni, a rescue puppy is a great idea, of course. That would be one lucky little puppy for you to find her or him! Don't worry, I've hit the tip jar a couple of times in August and will surely do so at least once or twice this month. I've also donated to the Red Cross today, and made a political donation this past week.
