Thoughts on Chima's Rant
Immediately prior to the Have - Have Not Comp, Chima let forth another racist tirade against Russell, calling him a Muslim extremist terrorist, but he wasn't present for it. This is covered in the previous post. A few minutes after the words had left her mouth, and the feeling I'd personally been punched in the chest subsided, I began to understand where all the animosity is coming from...
Chima, and to a lesser extent Natalie and Lydia, have been doing everything they can to bait both Jeff and Russell into altercations they hope will result in the men being ejected from the game, since the end of the not so live show yesterday... Much to their chargrin, neither Jeff nor Russell is giving them the satisfaction of reciprocating with so much as a raised voice. Jeff and Russell are barely acknowledging them at all.
Chima and Natalie have stated that their intent is to get both Jeff & Russell disqualified from the game, and the harder they try, and the less the men respond, the worse the attacks become...
With Nominations also pending this afternoon or early evening, and Chima and Natalie most likely heading for the block, I can only imagine what will happen next.
Incidentally, Chima and Natalie have also promised that if they lose the comp, they will still take hot showers. Chima took it a step further, saying she would eat and eat and eat... until they were forced to give her a penalty nom.
On a happier note... Jeff, Jordan and Michele are all quite happy and getting along quite swimmingly... and while guarded in her actual trust of him, Michele and Russell have mended their fences.
Michele has also offered up her HoH room to Jeff and Jordan, should they want to spend a night alone together in privacy.

I'm still here or sort of anyway.
I bouncing back and forth today and trying to keep up. But the bf is in the yard doing yard work and this is a rare and valuable moment for me so i keep having to go and see for myself!
Still no storm but it looks like one is building and on the way. Please, please, pleaseeeeee let the roof be fixed!!!! I desperatly want walls again!

Chima is out of control. The words coming out of her mouth aren't "game". They are truly truly something that she should be embarrassed of, and could have MAJOR repercussions in her professional life for years to come!
I don't understand why the Producers are letting them get away with all that stuff ! What has to happen in order for them - the producers - to step in and put a stop to it ???
Why are the producers, Allison Grodner and CBS allowing this. They know what they are saying. I know they don't want to loose several people at one time it would really wreck the game. BUT there needs to be some kind of serious consequences. Live feed viewers see and hear this. The behavior of the HG will continue to digress if they allow this behavior. It's just not right! Jeff was so right last night that you see the way people really are when they are down and these three are showing a very ugly side (which is why America doesn't want to vote for them to win anything)! Please BB make them suffer. They should be the have nots and it should be enforced (by adding more and more time until they comply or evicted). Something! They also need to be called on it when they leave the house!
Considering these comments are coming from the very person who accused someone else of bigotry on the first live show, I find her comments incredibly offensive. I would love to see her horrible bratty behavior result in some form of punishment from AGP, but really doubt that will happen.

Its good to see not everyone is stooping to such low levels of humanity in there.
So understanding their reason for the disgusting comments makes it okay?!? When did this all become okay to say as long as we can see where they are coming from. It's to the point where I'm done with anything BB related. It's a slap in the face to an entire culture and religion. I'm just tired of their excuses that say it's okay for this.
Hopefully, instead of Russel or Jeff, Chima gets disqualified.

Everyone needs to email the producers of Big Brother and demand they question Chima on the live television broadcast about her remarks.

Hasn't CBS learned from Big Brother UK? They lost many sponsors when their houseguests were perceived of throwing around racially insensitive remarks. Granted, I believe they aired theirs on their primetime broadcast, whereas CBS seems to be largely editing down Chima's remarks, but still. This girl is a major, major liability for them at this point, no?
You are pretty good at keeping up with the feeds! When there is something going on I usually run right to here to know what's going on.

Yeah, but she's not doing the terrorist thing to Russell's face. If she were, I could see the point. I think she's just wacked on bitterness.
I know the production people will be glad to see Chima go LOL.

That's very generous of you, Carolyn, and I think you are probably right, from their perspective. Though Chima, in particular, has lost all grasp of reality and context. The repercussions will be severe for her, she's, at least aiming to be, a pubic figure.
Honestly, I don't think she thinks Russell is a Muslim terrorist, and I don't even think she's racist in the real world. She it baiting him/them with all she's got. But, what she's got is pretty disturbing. That she would be willing to go there, even if it's just game play for her, demonstrates her instability and inability to grasp consequences.
Bottom line, she is out of control. In my personal opinion, literally out of control and her emotions have taken over to a dangerous level.
Or, maybe she just doesn't give a damn. Sh*t, they pull this kind of crap on FOX news every day. So maybe I'm completely off.
It's always amused me that the HGs seem to think that BB staff can only hear the HGs when they hold the mic to their mouth and loudly address production.
Obviously, BB has seen everything.
I would love to know what conversations have taken place among the BB production staff.
I feel bad for Chima's future husband. Then again, in about 10 years, she can just be another desperate housewife trying to win a prize on Price is Right.

I have never been a Russell fan(except when he was reading his Dad's letter).
But what Chima is doing is unforgivable.I can't imagine what Grandma thinks now! But I guess she's a TV only so she can sleep at night.Her BFF at home must not be to thrilled.

Le me say on or off the air, in his face or away from him, this should not be allowed. We did notb ecome the most civilized nation and to do such thing as Chima has done. What Chima is doing is enticing hate and as we all know, with live feeds, this metnality could cary over to some others and hopefully those tohers do not cary it to real life. CBS and the Producers need to tell her that and also make her do apublic apology to all and to do the same to Russel and if she decides notto do so, then the next choice would be tobe evicted. CBS and the Producers have to put a stop on this. This show is also syndicated internationaly and this will for sure could result in bad syndication interest.

Natalie, Lydia and Chima are all so negative and hateful, it's tiring just listening to them bash everyone/everything. I completely agree that Chima should have to give an apology for calling Russell a terrorist and referring to 9/11 and the twin towers. That was so inappropriate and disrespectful.

I complained to CBS on their website: http://bit.ly/13gZ0Z about how they seem to be kissing up to Chima (giving her beauty products) while she constantly gets her way and throws a tantrum when she doesn't. They spun her terrorist comment on TV before to make it seem as if she meant "terrorizing the house" (showing clips of Russell being mean to people). If there aren't any repercussions in the game world, she AT THE VERY LEAST needs to be exploited on national television for what she said. Game or not, it's not right and very hypocritical of her. It got my blood boiling, to say the least.
