Meanwhile:
Insect Room
Ragan & Matt
They are talking about Annie, and Ragan is feeling badly for her. Monet enters, and immediately states she is in trouble this week.
Monet: Brendon wanted me out last week.
Ragan: Can I be honest, maybe at the beginning of the week, but not any more.
Monet: Rachel will do anything Brendon wants her to do. (praphrasing)
Matt: I have never heard Brendon or Rachel say your name.
Talk switches to Andrew's jubilant reaction to Rachel winning.
Monet: Andrew told me he was in an alliance with Brendon & Rachel (**Really? When?)
Ragan: I hate to switch the subject. Do you think Annie was mad at me?
Monet: I don't think so. She was upset that she didn't get any votes.
Rachel comes in and invites the Have Notties to come sleep upstairs with her. She is so happy that her crew would get to share in the HoH luxury.
Monet: Are you excited to be upstairs?
Rachel: I'm excited that the have notties will go from the slums to living in style.
Rachel leaves and finds her "man".
They celebrate in the Taj Room. After some celebration they settle into whispered game talk. She wants to put up Britney and Monet.
Rachel: I want to know who told him to put me on the block. If it was Britney...
Brendon: She could win the PoV...
Rachel: She won't win over me... I just want to know her thinking... (**Rachel... Hayden put you up, not Britney.) Hayden is a good competitor. And Kristen... (as possible alliance...)
She goes on to make sure that Brendon is okay with the have notties sleeping upstairs with her.
Lane comes in. He teases her about her ass showing when Britney hugged her. Talk turns to food.
Meanwhile Britney went into the Insect room. Monet and Britney are bummed that they got so close and didn't win. Talk turns to the competition and their surprise that Annie didn't get any votes.
Ragan: I, in a personal level, adored Annie. The minute I knew I couldn't trust her, she was very adamant about you not going up, but then when people were scrambling, she suggested you because of the money. I didn't trust where her head was at (** paraphrasing)
More talk about Annie. Ragan is really torn about Annie. Then talk about their position in the house. Britney is sure that she and Monet will be going up.
Andrew comes in, and Britney immediate attacks him.
Britney: That wasn't very tactful of you to be so happy that Rachel won.
Andrew: Just being honest. You think I'm the saboteur and at least with Rachel, I have a chance.
They go a couple of bouts with the same. Andrew leaves.

Kitchen
The whole house.
Talking about Annie. Her speech. Her departure.
Monet, Enzo & Matt break off and go to the Insect Room.
Monet is upset that Britney got into a fight with Andrew. She leaves. Monet and Enzo say they need to regroup. They keep insisting that Rachel cannot think for herself. (**Why? Cause she has boobs?) Then they conclude that since Britney cannot keep her mouth shut, she must be the saboteur. They want Britney and Monet gone. Especially Britney.
Do we see a pattern emerging?
In the kitchen, Brendon is cooking while everyone else sits around. Matt is in the Jumanji room alone.
6:55 PM BBT - Backyard is open and alcohol has arrived.
BB: House guests. This is a Lock down. Please go outside and close the sliding glass door. (**I don't know why that thrills me so much... )
They chow down outside....I'll say it for them... Thanks Brendon!
Lock down over. HGs mill inside and out.
Last week it was Annie. This week, it's Britney's turn for meltdowns. She has cornered Lane to reiterate her worries, and kicking herself for not winning. Lane tells her to disassociate herself from Monet. BB calls her out for centering her mic, and Lane makes a break for it.They go out to leave Enzo cooking. Monet comes in and they rehash what has been said already tonight. Andrew comes in. They make nice and as soon as he leaves.
Enzo: I don't like that guy.... I just don't know who she will put up.
Monet: She'll pick whoever Brendon tells her too. Or Andrew.
Enzo agrees.
Enzo: They might put you up because of the 10 gees. Are you connected at all?
Monet: I've tried to talk to her but...
Enzo: She's not connected to anyone since she was with Brendon.
Monet: She doesn't like me with that whole eye rolling thing. She's so fake.
They go on to talk about the schedule and the PoV.
Enzo: It's funny it's just to of them n the house, and there are so many of us, and they win the HoH. (**That's Big Brother baby...)
Matt comes in.
Matt: If any one of us win PoV, Britney will go up.

After some flirting, and congratulating that they made it this far, they start talking game.
Rachel is thinking Britney and Monet, but she has her sights on Matt as well. She wants to set up an alliance with Hayden, Kristen, Ragan and try to rope Lane in. (**pardon the pun) They go on talk about Annie and her speech. Rachel says she sounded like a jealous girlfriend.
Rachel: Nobody messes with me and my man.
Brendon: Oh I like it. A woman in power is hot.
They talk about their goodbye messages to Annie.
Ragan joins them. (**YAY!) They greet him warmly, saying how much they respect him. (**Ditto)
Ragan is still visibly upset with Annie's snub when she was leaving. They try to console him. They steer the discussion tho the competition. Their reactions. Andrew's reaction.
Rachel: I'm not going to put him up so...
Ragan: I think the next 24 hours will be a trip.
Rachel: I would have been happy if you had gotten it too.
Ragan: I was so nervous because I thought if either of them go it... (**we know, honey...)

Britney apologizes to Andrew. Andrew explains himself.
Britney: I thought you were the saboteur in the beginning. Later I thought it was Annie. Anyhow I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said it in from of others.
Andrew: I honestly reacted that way because I thought you were after me.
Britney: People are saying you are in an alliance with Brendon.
Andrew: I'm a floater. I was worried that you were going after me, and that's why the reaction. I have no alliances except with Kathy. And I have no idea how she feels about it a lot....I'm just trying to stay under the radar. I had enough people hating me the first week.
Britney: I have a sarcastic jokey personality. I don't mean to offend you. If I do, I'm sorry. I'm like that with everyone. But I will try to be more considerate towards you.
They hug it out.

Doing what they do best.... dishing cattiness. Britney is planning on throwing the blame towards Andrew or Hayden so she can avoid the block. Now they wish they would have kept Annie. As they eat cookies, discussing how big Rachel's azz is. (**Oh irony. Thy name is Big Brother.) Matt joins them after trying to fish for information from Rachel about her nominations. Lane comes in asks if everyone is outside.
Lane: Okay. I'm going outside to suck up.

Britney: I heard that production said that you guys can't sleep in the room.
Ragan: It sucks but I understand from production stand point.
She launches into "I'm so pissed off with myself" reel.

Something that interested me during the HoH Comp, the question about who the HG's would cheat from on a test, Matt or Ragan........
So interesting. Everyone picked Ragan. And between the 2 of them, they are both extremely intelligent and accomplished. Matt is a certified member of Mensa, and Ragan has what...a PhD? He's a college professor?
To me, that proves that Matt has done a better job of laying low with his true level of intelligence than Ragan has. Aren't both of them hiding their real levels of intelligence from the rest of the cast?
I have to admit, I am not liking Rachel or Brendon as much anymore.
I love Ragan and I am really liking Hayden and Kristen.
I also like Britney when she isn't being so catty.
Aw, I <3 that Ragan cares so much about Annie's feeling.
I'm totally Team Ragan & Brendon.
So, when do you think they will reveal Annie being the Sab for the HGs... must be soon since it will be on Sunday's edited show.

I really liked the saboteur twist and hate to see it end so soon. Would love to see CBS keep it alive by letting us vote for a new America's player since the HG's still think the saboteur is among them. I love seeing the looks on their faces when the saboteur strikes. Keeps the paranoia up among them too.
I'm thinking Hayden might be feeling a bit nervous after this HOH. We shall see.

I do love Rachel. I didn't like her sureness of staying and not campaigning but I think this HoH may show her real game play. Sure, Brendon will have a lot to say about her choices, but I think she is already showing she is her own woman.
That's my opinion anyway.

Did anyone else experience weird stuff on the live feeds? I was clicking through the different camera shots and they were showing people sleeping! I think that the sab-o-tuer is now messing with us!
I don't think I'm looking forward to this week. With those last three in the HOH Comp, it was a given that it would be a joint HOH. Either Britney and Monet, Monet and Britney, or Rachel and Brendon.
The last few nights the feeds have been all about Brendon and Rachel. And that will probably only intensify now. I was really looking forward to getting to know some of the other houseguests.

She has been nothing but ugly to him! She can't stand that the whole house doesn't treat her like a princess! Okay, that's my rant on her, I'll get in a bad mood if I keep talking about all her negativity!
I do like Monet. She is trying to break herself away from Brit. She is making it clear to Andrew she was not a part of Brit's comment to Andrew. I bet she is not happy she has paired up w/ her. I just wish I could see her play w/out Brit by her side.

I think Ragan is conflicted about Annie leaving, because he was the first one she confided in about her relationship outside of the house....the fact that she has a GF, and he completely appreciated that she shared that intimate detail of her life with him.
He felt a connection to her because of that, because he probably felt alone in the house, being the only gay person. He found out he had a special connection to her, that he doesn't have with the other HG's.
I can understand his confused feelings about Annie being evicted tonight.
I liked Annie, on a personal level. She's very smart, and has a good heart, and definitely knows the game.

Evening all, As I look around I see a lot of smiles such as I have. A question I have of the HG's is why all the concentration on the "alliance" of Rachel and Brendon, when there is just as obvious an alliance with Brit and Monet? Yet the only ones that seem to focus on B/M is R/B/K/R. I found humor in Rach rebuttal to Annie's comment that Bren would be carrying Rach through the game, when Rach said it seems she is carrying Bren through so far.
Toni - I agree with you! I'm not loving Rachel & Brendon, either. However, I'm just curious to see how this week goes because I love when it's a true "power shift".
I wonder if BB will tell the HGs that Annie was the saboteur at all.

Some say they didn't like Rachel was sure of staying and not campaigning. She did a little bit early on but after Brendon & several others assured her she was safe & Annie was creating so much drama she decided to lay low & be the better person by not driving everyone nuts. And, at the end of the day she stayed so it didn't work against her.

Saying hello for the first time and chiming in.
Syn, I agree with you regarding Annie and the twist that's going to happen (and coincidentally to the 3 year thing). I do believe Annie WILL be back in the house. Remember when the pink haired guy (I forget his name at the moment) was the most wanted/hated guest in the house and they kept trying to get him out and finally they did? Next thing you know he was back in and he was well loved by America. Annie is just like him. America seems to really like her and so does BB, which is why I think they chose her to be the SAB.
As for the "life long friends", it could all be made up. I'm still out to lunch on that one but if there is a friendship, I'm kind of thinking it actually {might} have been Annie and Brendan based on his very serious emotional reaction to her (them appearing to get together was a camera/game ploy - and her comment was a dig to Rachel only). I DO believe he genuinely cared for her. You can't fake emotions and if they came in with that twist they have to play the game and he was really caught in a rough place with Rachel unexpectedly "falling" for her.
The other two I suspect might have been paired are either Annie/Lane (he was first one to come to her when she was leaving and they said something to each other and their reactions to each other seem to have been very real as well) OR Hayden/Kristen. Definitely something is up there as Kristen is so mysterious and low key.
I adore Ragan and would actually love to see him win but unless he can pair up with someone (perhaps Andrew, Brendan,etc.) strong to take with him to F2, he won't make it. He has the brains but not the brawn to last.
This will be an interesting season for sure.

I honestly do not see how Brendon has been carrying Rachel thru this game. It's only been 1 week, she was on the block & she didn't go home. He had nothing to do w/ that. He has campaigned for her but he is aligned w/ her so that is to be expected. It's definitely going to be a combined HOH since they are aligned but I have hope she will in the end make her choices based on her game & not their game. I just love a true power shift & love watching a group that thought they had it all wrapped up wiggle & squirm!!!!

I do hope Brendon doesn't move into the HoH room. Rachel said it was OK by the rules, but he didn't know. I think Brendon might think with his above the waist brain this week. At least until the below the waist brain needs some attention.
Brendon would be smart to back off and have secret meetings to show they are not a 'twofer' deal.
No matter what it's going to be an interesting week. I love it when the best laid plans blow up in a more secret alliance's face. That's the best part of the BB Game.

Welcome NCMomof3! I'll guess we'll know soon enough if Annie went to sequester or went home. Since it seems they are going to tell the houseguests it was Annie, then bringing her back in the game might be moot, because the other houseguests will just vote her right back out because of the distrust of her being the saboteur. But it's BB and you just never know.

RonMex - I was listening to Rachel and Brendon talk science last night and he said something about dry ice and she asked him why CO2 gas would come from dry ice. I do think Rachel is smart down in there somewhere. And I think laying low was good strategy on her part, but a little campaigning would've been nice too. I don't like how she constantly seeks approval from Brendon however, based on personal observations. That's why her winning HOH doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies that she'll make "her" decision, rather than Brendon's.

I just think we've seen in the past too many cases of week 1 alliances that are known by the other houseguests that somehow make it to the final 4. I just think Rachel has a better chance of tricking people and winning competitions than Annie, and she's aligned with Brendon. What's the point of keeping Rachel and Brendon together? Annie would have been an outsider for the rest of the game as no one trusted her.

I agree Carolyn. Trust me, I thought Annie was an interesting character but I didn't think she was a good gamer. For me it was a case of both Rachel and Annie aren't great at the game and one of them had more guidance than the other.
More than anything I'm just left confused as to why either of them were being targeted. Down the road I didn't see a threat in either one of them besides potential numbers.
But hey, as a fan it's better to get out the poor gamers early on.

RhondaM, I have 3, and they are ages 20, 18, and 6. My 18 year old is currently at epilepsy camp in North Dallas, but she pratically lives with my mom, she's hardly ever here.
The recipe was homemade jalepenos with cream cheese and bacon wrapped around them. They are very time consuming! But oh so good!
Why does Rachel keep comparing herself to Jordan? I was, and may still be, completely in love with Jeff. These comparisons really do not add up. Jordan was a complete class act. And won the whole game. Who is to say that Jeff carried her? It seems that being a nice person won her the game. She was the first person to try that approach. Maybe that is a great strategy? Rachel is not greater than Jordan. And two weeks into a showmance, predicted by Brandon in his bio as a way to play women, can not a triumph make.
