See, you're going to have to win this for yourselves, because at the moment, there are very few, if any, BB12 HGs willing to take you off the block at the risk of having one of their friends or alliance members backdoored.
That's kinda why you were nominated together. In case there was any doubt.
True, you've both done a stellar job of guilting Rachel with your tears, and you both possess manipulation skills galore, but are they enough? I don't think so... Time will tell.

They've been awake for 5 minutes, and Ragan already has the girls in stitches.
If he gets to play, Ragan really wants to win the PoV. He hasn't won anything yet,
BB: Ragan, are you wearing someone else's microphone?

Ragan jumps up, and holds his mic up to the camera for them to see. The girls crack up.
Ragan tells BB he's being rude.
Rachel: Well, Ragan, if you don;t get picked, I would love for you to host it. Would you like to host?
Ragan: I would love to!
BB: Houseguests, I said it's time to get up for the day!
Rachel: It's the bad kids downstairs. We're all up!
Rachel invites them to sleep up there with her all week. Brendon is a Have Not, after all.. (though she doesn't mention that)
Ragan: I wonder what the competition's gonna be...
Rachel: I feel so bad for Britney and Monet right now... It's a crazy game.
Ragan: All I can say is... I think it's sweet that you do, it's just.. It's a natural part of the game, and it's natural to feel compassion for people on the block.
Rachel: And you're right.. And as much as I feel bad for them, I'm glad to not be on the block again myself, and I'm so glad to not be a have not! Do you guys wants espressos? Do you drink coffee?

Kathy's telling Rachel about Monet's poor behavior towards her yesterday. Monet accused her of saying negative things to Rachel about her...
Here's the thing, Rachel told Monet that's what went down, during Monet's HoH meeting yesterday. Monet didn't have to be too cunning to get an admission out of Rachel.
Rachel: I didn't even know you guys were friends, and when she told me that, I was really surprised.
Kathy: Most of the times, the talking was very superficial, but it was only when someone else was busy.
Rachel: I mean, I really like you and Kristen. I feel like I can talk to you guys, but it sucks that there are people you really can't talk to.
Kathy: It's cattiness.. and it's unfortunate.
Rachel: Your key was 2nd for a reason.. I so wish we could call her out. It's not necessary, and all it's gonna do is cause more problems in the house...
Kathy: And there's so many more days til Thursday... It's weird that she came up here and said something stupid like that.
Rachel: I didn't even have to say anything to you and you came to me. I knew right away that she was lying to me...
***Didn't look like it.
Kathy: People are funny...
They come back to the $10,000.
Rachel: I mean, come on, you've got 10 thousand dollars in your pocket and you're being mean to people.. When she came up, all she said was, "If you don't put me up, I'm not coming after you," and I was like, "Yeah, right."

Talk about Britney and Monet continues... Kathy's basically reinforcing how miserable and rude they've both been they've both been since the get-go. After another few minutes, Rachel tells Kathy how much both she and Brendon love her and want her to be here. They have a hug, tidy and make the bed together.

Happy chatter continues. Rachel pops her head in for a quick hello and a laugh. Then it's back to the guys again. A little grumbling about being woken so early for no apparent reason, since they haven't picked players yet, then back to pleasantries.
They inquire again as to Andrew's whereabouts and Hayden says Andrew was up praying before the alarm.

We have 5 minutes of BRB, then we return to primping in the bathroom. Conventional wisdom suggests that the HGs have been told that they'll be picking PoV players soon...

Britney explains she's been a teary, PMSing emotional mess for the past 24 hours.

Britney: Well people are throwin me under the bus left n right... I just can't tell you. I'm just really, really sorry. I shouldn't have taken anybody's word for it. I'm really sorry.

Last night when the previous Have-Nots were in the HOH room talking about challenges I was falling out of my chair laughing at them. Ragan is a riot! (I want him to be one of my BFF's) It is so worth going back on FB to see it. I also thought it was cute when Kristen was laying w/ Hayden & they heard Enzo get called to the DR how she jumped out of Hayden's bed into her bed to keep the "showmance" quiet for the time being. IMO, eventually ppl will catch on to it. The living situation is too close & there are some pretty preceptive ppl in that house. But, I was a little disappointed (& I don't know why) that Hayden & Kristen are stringing Rachel & Brendon along in the 4 person alliance. It seemed to me that for now Kristen is only in this alliance but Hayden is also in the "Brigade" alliance as well. Which I'm not sure if Kristen is aware of. I have missed some of their convos.
I was so glad to see Brenden & Ragan bring Rachel back to reality & not let the "Crocodile Tear Twins" soften her on the mission to get one of them out!!! I like her thought & others agreed to have ppl in the house who are grateful to be there, not complaining non-stop, want to play the game & really compete rather than float & ride coattails!
I am amazed at the defending of Brit/Mo & the venom they spew. Yeah, it's okay to be angry when you've been put on the block & every single HG at one point or another has made remarks about another HG. It's not nice but it's to be expected in this tight living situation & the emotional roller-coaster they're on. But Brit/Mo didn't just show these colors since they were put on the block. They have had these venom-spewing sessions since the moment they stepped into the house & believe me it's gonna get worse as they get hungrier & w/ lack of sleep. I also do not understand the hatred toward Andrew by them, especially Brit. My heart goes out to this guy. He a little bit different so he's weird?

Between the tears and laughter last night was quite interesting. I'm beginning to think Brendon is too nice for this game the way he treated the "meow meow" twins last night. Both of them need out of the house ASAP.

Morning everyone..all summer long I've been up till 4am, but BB starts and I can't stay up past 2 to save my life, go figure. Good thing there's flashback!
At this point, there's really no one in the house I 'hate' or can't stand, it's just a matter of who I want in the house the least. I suppose Monet is leading that category right now. I don't mind Britney, but I'd be fine with her going in Week 3 or 4

Thought this year was gonna be a bummer but it seems things might get a bit fiesty this week! Didn't like Rachel much at first but really starting to like her now. Kristen is another of my faves. Kinda thought she might have been the saboteur but was surprised when it was Annie. Not surprised at the nom's.....those 2 girls need to put their claws away & learn to be a bit nicer. Love Kathy cause she's a GRIT like me & her hometown is not to far away! Poor Andrew.....I love him & his strange little ways! Oh well hope this day brings some drama or fun. We need a livelier house!

I am puzzled by something and I need answers.....I am not dissing anyones religion but tell me why Eric (who was Jewish) and Kaysar (who was a muslim) could go through their seasons and not disrupt the house with their prayers and such ,,,,that Andrew is having all things centered around his faith.How can they cater to his schedule and food restrictions and even make one who eats a bagel feel guilty? I think if anyone goes into this house,knowing what to expect, then they should adapt to it...not the other way around IMHO.

I gathered that either he would be affected or the game would be.
i like Andrew, but i like BB more. He should have to decide should I eat or not eat. should I participate in HOH, POV or not. It will be interesting to see. He signed on the dotted line.
The game officially started last nite in my opinion. The Brigade is doing better than I thought they would, but they were spending more time together as a whole too. Thats how alliances are discovered.

The other night when she got HOH reveal and her Brendan had a couple of drinks and than went downstairs with the other guests and almost instantly stumbling. Brendan seemed suprised at her behaviour and if it was game play she never let him in on it.
I'm just saying... if she is playing him, it wouldn't be hard to enjoy it.
It always takes me a while to start commenting because I like to get a feel for the HGs. I find Rachel to be annoying. I thought she was nice, just not my cup of tea. Sometimes she says things that make me think she is not much different than Britney-she just covers everything with a giggle so it doesn't sound as mean. She did say something that really ticked me off though. She doesn't want floaters to make it to the end because that's what happened the last 4 seasons.
Season 11-I did view Natalie and Jordan as floaters. But Jordan could pull out a win when she had to. She was not as naive or stupid as people thought. And Natalie didn't win so alls well that ends well.
Season 10-Dan played the game and all the other HGs like a finely tuned instrument. He won the money, kept most of his integrity and was able to walk away still looking like a nice guy.
Season 9-Ryan didn't win but was in the final 2. He played the game strategically and had to fight his to stay in the house. He had a huge target in the beginning because he had a girlfriend in the house and a partner no one liked. For the record, I didn't like Ryan. He had a foul mouth and he was always trying to get rid of James-but I can still admit he played a decent game.
Season 8-Dick and Dani. Everyone in the house hated them. Everyone wanted them out. They were nominated more times than I can count. They were always able to pull themselves or each other off the block. When one of them remained on the block they were always able to get enough votes to stay (even without America's vote). Jani is the veto queen. Kaysar is the most strategic player to never win. But love them or hate them, no one ever played the game harder than the Donatos.
To sum this up: Rachel, you have gone from being sort of annoying to being really annoying. And starting off your first week in the house with a showmance will never help you be known as a great player, even if you are.

Carolyn, just caught up on Saturday morning post and saw that it was pretty choppy what was shown on feeds (while I was resetting computer stuff) and that no one really knows the whole conversation between Brit/Monet/Kathy & one between Kathy/Brit in storage room!!

Rachel's makn plenty of mistakes. All she had to tell Kathy was BritMO both said they knew someone ratted them out and Monet said it was Kathy. It's not rocket science, or Chemistry.
Morning Janice! :) My take on this whole mess is that Monet is trying to take the target off herself by throwing around accusations. Britney didn't bring Kathy up to Rachel; and she was very adamant right now in the SR that Rachel did not say anything about Kathy.
Morning Grendon! :) Nice to see you! The definition of floater seems to be a floating one in this game. If you get to the end, you have played a great game, one way or the other.

Andrew is an Orthodox Jew and the rules around when to pray and other practices are very specific. Eric was not an Orthodox Jew, I don't know what he was, probably reformed or non practicing. He didn't follow any of those rules or practices. I don't remember what Kaysar did in the house but I know he prayed. Whatever the specific rules are that he obided by are different than Andrew's. It's just that simple. Different religions, different practices.
I don't see how Andrew is interrupting the game though. He plays for have nots just like everyone else. He can't eat slop, that's his problem. I imagine that if a comp involved pork Kayser had to abstain (say the pie eating comps). He eats what he can, he has a much more limited diet than the others because BB is apparently NOT going out of their way to treat him specially. What if a vegetarian was in the house (there have been), they make choices too.
The only special accommodation I have seen are what's her name who was allergic to slop and could have died. Though I don't remember if they gave her a substitute.
As for the bagel guilt thing, that was crap. Andrew has never imposed himself on others with his religion - unlike many of the so called "good Christians" over the seasons who used religion as a weapon. Andrew has NEVER done that. What's it to everyone else if he prays? It doesn't affect anyone.

First of all, thank you for all of your hardwork you put into this. I check the blog every day and you make BB so much better with this site. I am unable to watch the live feeds at work, so this is where I come to catch up. I do have a question... When were the HGs told Annie was the sabatuer?
No, I don't think Rachel is playing Brendon at all. I think she displays behaviors with men that speak to her insecurities and perhaps things that have happened in her life (I have theories, but I am not ready to analyze). But, all her kittenish (annoying) flirting aside, I think she genuinely likes him. I think she is fundamentally an insecure woman who uses her body for attention - but ultimately is looking for love. She puts on an act, for sure, but I don't think it's to manipulate Brendon per se, it's her way of getting male attention in general, and she hopes it will lead to the real thing. That's my take anyway.
I think they genuinely like each other. Whether that will last, who knows. But I don't think it's a "showmance" in that sense that it's fake.

I agree. I used to get so angry on Survivor because if a nice person made it to the end they never won. Everyone would say they hadn't 'played' the game.
I always thought if you make it through a game totally under the radar, you never have a target on your back or blood on your hands, you don't have to do a lot of lying or backstabbing and you can keep your integrity-that is absolute genius.
Unfortunately it seems like that game play is very seldom rewarded. That is why I was happy for Jordan to win last year. Even though she wasn't my personal favorite at least the nice guy didn't finish last.

I don't get all the animosity towards Andrew. I don't love him yet but also don't feel that I know him well enough to make a judgement.
I have never seen him act holier than though as Britney accused him of doing. I have seen him act like a man with a very strict set of rules he has to follow living in a house with a group of people who neither understand him or show much interest in understanding.
Well, Kristen, Hayden, Matt and Kathy aren't playing, but Lane is.

Judaism is fundamentally different than most of religions - Jews don't proselytize. They are not looking for converts. So a holier than thou attitude from Andrew is highly unlikely. Jews don't compare themselves to Christians or other religions, so there is nothing to be holier about. Inside the faith that does happen between some sects. The more strict observers sometimes believing that the less strict are not practicing "properly." That is mostly between the most strict, and a relative small group. But that doesn't apply here at all.
after Kristen, Andrews my favorite cause he's a quirk a minute. His religion is obviously not an act, it would be awesome if his naivitay turned out to be. I haven't seen any rule bending for Andrew. My response was to Carolyn's post that said she had assumed all the comps would be at night while he was in the house. I don't know that that would have any effect on the gameor not. i just think BB knew his beliefs, he knew what he was getting into, it shouldn't be necessary to change anything, not that Bb has or will.

So, i'm dying to find out who wins the POV. I pray it isn't Britney or Monet. I so want one of them gone. At this point I don't care which one, they are both grating on my very last nerve.
So, I have a question...does anyone else have trouble with voting for the polls. Everytime I try to click on the "vote" button, nothing happens. I can click on "see results" but for some reason I can't vote. I have never had this issue any other season. I see the results, so other people seem to be able to vote with out any problem. Jane! Thank you so much for your comments about Andrew. You are so well spoken and clear and of course, speak the truth. I am a Reform Jew and although I don't practice like Andrew, I completely respect that he is in the game and not giving up on his own traditions through it. Many an Orthodox Jew would look down/insult the game as "beneath" them and he is respecting the game, the players and himself. I give him props!
