The live feeds are back, and as expected, Rachel has nominated Monet & Britney.Britney's in tears...
It's gonna be a hot time in the BB12 house tonight! Already, Britney isn't exactly known for her pleasant demeanor, but will she turn on her house bestie, Monet?
Time will tell.
Will they both try to garner favor with their unexpected new roomie Brendon? They'd be fools not to. The question is, how much time will he actually spend in there?
Let's rejoin the HGs for their little slice of Friday night insanity...
Britney and Monet are both in tears...
Monet: It's strictly person.
Britney: This sucks.
Monet: She just doesn't like us.
Britney: i don't even care if I go home. I miss my life.
Monet: I just wish they hadn't played that video.. and one of us won HoH.. This week would have been completely different.
Britney: I miss my family anyway... I miss my life. I don't even care. I'm not gonna fight. I'm not gonna campaign against you. I'm just gonna be normal. It's gonna happen. Just like Annie.

Enzo comes in and speaks very gently with the girls. He tells them nothing's over. They just have to fight like hell for the PoV.
Enzo: Don't be scared to play. That's it. It's part of the game.
Monet: There's just a lot of fake people in the house... Kristen's all, "Thanks, Rach.."
OK.. so both of them are very upset. Britney's completely defeated. It happens. They'll buck up in time for the PoV comp. They're already getting their vim back, turning their tears into anger... It's only a matter of time before we have spewing venom.

The girls, who are also have nots, in addition to being on the block, are fixing themselves protein shakes, with a little help and instruction from Matt. Tears are gone, and pleasantries with a potential voter ensue.

That's one way to touch each other without arousing suspicions, I suppose. General chatter around the room.
Talk turns to Annie and all her issues whilst in the house... Kristen's very intent on Hayden's toenails, not just filing, but clipping, as well. I'm secretly hoping she'll paint them.

Meanwhile, up in the HoH Room... They're getting pretty cozy.
They snuggle a few more minutes, not quite whispering sweet nothings, then they head downstairs to go and be social.

They are hanging around, chatting. Rachel joins the group seamlessly. It's relaxed and happy. They have escaped the block, for now. The Saboteur is gone and revealed. The two nominees are keeping to the kitchen. Life is good!

Meanwhile in the backyard, The Brigade, will Pump You Up! While Enzo watches from his Have not dejection. This latest Have Not crew have been have nots for a few hours and have been complaining non-stop since.

The campaigning begins... The tears are flowing.
Britney: It doesn't have to be awkward between me and you. You had to put up two people. I won't hold it against you. If I stay, great. I want to stay. I came here to play the game. If I go home, I get to see my fiancee and my dogs.
Rachel: I don't think you will be going home.
Britney: If I don't win PoV who will take me off? It's not fair that the floaters will stay. So many people have come up here being fake now that you're HoH. Whoever told you I have alliances in the house were lying. I don't have any alliances. I talk to the people from the Jumanji room. But those people will vote me out. I don't think anyone wants Monet out.
Rachel: That's not true.
Britney: She won the money... but she didn't want it. She got it by default.
Rachel tries to console her.
Rachel: I think if Monet wins HoH she will be coming after me and Brendon.
Britney starts in on Andrew, saying he is a hypocrite. He doesn't have a soul. He acts holier than anyone else in the house. Rachel steers it away from the personal attacks...
Rachel: I don't know where he got the idea that I would keep him safe. Unless he knows that I wanted to take out Monet. I told her today, I'm probably going to put her up. I was honest.
Britney: It sucks for me, but I know it's hard for you. Whoever stays will be pissed.
Rachel: I don't want you to be pissed at me.
Britney: I don't want things between us to be awkward. I want you to come talk to me. I don't want to go home.
Rachel: I don't want you to go home either.
Britney: Me and Monet are friends, but we have never talked game. I know it's crazy but we haven't talked alliance.
Britney then goes on to say that she knew Annie was full of crap the whole time about the things she was saying about Rachel.
Britney: I know someone threw me under the bus. People you trust. You should be careful who you should trust.
Rachel: Which of the two guys do you think threw you under the bus?
Britney: Would you tell me?
Rachel: I don't want to betray confidences. Three people talked to me about you. People who you're close too.
Britney: I don't want to have an Annie week. I don't want to cause drama. Both you and Brendon have been nice to me.
Britney's target is Andrew... and for what it's worth, I believe her. She has a huge dislike for him.
Rachel: Do you think that Monet will campaign against you?
Britney: She wants to stay. She will fight really really hard.
Rachel: She was rude to me. Rude to Brendon. She has snubbed me. Then this morning she was trying to be nice.
Britney: I've seen people being nice to you. I was like, really? You're friends with Rachel now?
Rachel: One person came up here and wanted to talk to me. I was like really? I haven't talked to you but three times.
Britney: I can go home and be with my loved ones. Watch you guys on the feeds.
Rachel: If you can choose someone to play for you in PoV?
Britney: I don't think anyone will take me off. If I don't play, I will stay on the block.
Rachel: I don't know people well. I would hope they would do what I want. They said they have.
Britney: If Monet wins PoV, who would you put on the block? I hope it would be Andrew. I really want him to go...
Rachel: There's one person who's not playing the game in a good way for the house. I would not be against changing my nominations.. This person is someone I feel you probably trust too. It's someone who I trusted...
Britney: You can't really trust anyone. The only one I trusted was Monet...
Needing to change the channel for my sanity, I check on the other specimens in the backyard. And the only sound is Matt on the elliptical.... Fantastic! :)
Kristen is passed out. Enzo is in his Have Not haze. Hayden is in and out.

Monet: There is one person I thought I could trust. Negative things were said about Britney and me and we were thrown under the bus.
Rachel: A few people said a few different things about you and Britney.
Please refer to the previous conversation with Britney... If anything new is said, I'm on it!
Rachel: Another thing about you is that you would have come after me and Brendon.
Monet: That wasn't my intention. Now I am going after someone else. (**meaning she was.)
Rachel: Do you want to tell me? Was it a boy?
Monet: It was a girl. If it isn't who I think it is, then that would make me feel better...
Rachel: I obviously know. I can figure it out. I didn't know you were friends. I, mean, she talked about you but I never put you guys together or group you guys as friends.
Monet: We talked every night.
Rachel: I was grouping you and Britney with Lane maybe Enzo...
Monet: When you said Britney was in an alliance. She isn't in an alliance with me or with anyone. This person won't talk to me now.
She breaks down and Rachel gives her hug.
Monet: We talk every night... It sucks. It really sucks.
Rachel: I think we don't really talk.
Monet: Because I didn't think you like me. When you picked my name for the PoV you rolled your eyes.
Rachel: I did do that because...
Monet: It's not that it hurt but it was a low blow. I didn't say anything to you. I didn't say anything about you. (** umm, rewind... hello?)
Rachel: Then I think I was mistaken. The person you're saying... I didn't see that coming.
Monet: We talked about personal stuff...
Rachel: Have you tried to talk to Kathy?
Monet: She won't even talk to me.
More of the same.
Monet: I just want you to know, if I stay, I'm not coming after you. I'm not coming after Brendon.
Rachel: I wish there is something I could do... Is there someone you would want if I had a players choice that you would want to play for you?
Monet: I would say Enzo, but he probably threw me under the bus.
Rachel: He said nothing more than the 1o thousand dollars.
Monet: I don't think he would use the PoV on me.
Rachel: If you think of someone, let me know...
They finish their talk. Monet goes into the bathroom to dry her eyes.
One troubled HoH...

Brendon comes in. Rachel tells him she thinks she made the wrong decision. She tells him about Kathy. She doesn't know if Monet is playing the game. She is visibly affected by this alleged betrayal. She breaks down because she has caused Britney and Monet so much pain.
Brendon reminds her that either those girls would send them home. He tells her that is why he likes her so much because she has a sensitive heart.
Ragan comes in for his sleepover with Rachel...
....and instantly the mood lifts! ***Here too :)
Ragan sums it all up: It's super duper hard, but do they have your back?
The answer is obvious. They don't or won't.
Meanwhile downstairs in the bathroom... Kathy is laying on the sofa and Monet is getting ready for bed. Monet sniped at Kathy moments ago. Despite that, when Monet says goodnight. Kathy says, "Goodnight sweetie."
Kathy has a brief talk n the kitchen with Kristen, telling her that Monet is accusing Kathey of throwing her under the proverbial and often driven bus. Kristen is outraged at such an accusation. Kristen says she wants to win PoV so that the noms stay the same.
Kathy goes up to HoH.
Kathy is visibly upset. The others ask her what's wrong.
Kathy: Monet...
Rachel: Did they say something to you?
Kathy: She said that I said terrible stuff about her. I tried to give her a hug and she wouldn't have it.
Rachel: Those girls were up here for hours crying... It hasn't been two hours since they were nominated and their true colors are coming out.
Kathy: I am past the age of cattiness. I was there for them and still will be. But I won't be accused of stuff I didn't say. It hurts. I'm not gonna lie. It's like what happened with you and Annie.
Rachel goes on to give them an overview of her conversations and her feelings badly for them. Between Kathy, Brendon and Ragan they bring Rachel back to BB reality, and away from the machinations of the two on the block...
Last week's "have notties" will be spending the night with Rachel in HoH. Brendon leaves to go into the Insect room with the insects. Rachel walks him to the landing where they say their goodnights.
Brendon gives her a pep talk and makes her feel better. They kiss.
Most of the HGs are in bed or pretending to be in bed.... Kathy went outside to have a cigarette. In HoH, Ragan and Rachel have some candy while Ragan brings Rachel completely off the ledge.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Kristen gives Kathy a pep talk and reassures her that she did nothing wrong.... Kathy leaves to go back up to HoH. Matt has joined Rachel and Ragan in HoH. In the Jumanji room, Enzo is complaining to Lane about the girls' breakdown in the Insect Room.

The girls totally deserve to be angry and upset but take a second and realize you would have done the same thing to them.
It will be really interesting to see what will happen if like Enzo, Lane or Hayden win POV. The girls have the case that Brenchal was up last week and they both stayed, it's possible if one of them is taken down. Of course the guys won't do that because one of the brigade would go up. I just think it'll be interesting to see what happens with POV.
OMG, they're idiots!! (Is that against the rules?). Now Bit and Twit are up in arms because they didn't break up the Branchel alliance. This is turning into a comedy.
Okay, it's one thing to be upset b/c you're nominated, but to be as catty as Monet and Britney are being is pathetic. To downright degrade another person physically or b/c of their religious beliefs is disgusting and uncalled for.
MG, I have had that happen several times the past few days. Some of the times were b/c my NUMLK was ok b/c it's easier to navigate the comments here and other times I know I entered it correctly. I think Carolyn said she was experiencing some glitches as well.

I ate fishsticks as a kid. I only eat shell fish as an adult, but with a lot of ketchup I could probably suffice.
Fish sticks I could live with but the fruitcake not so much. My hubby's family had a fruitcake that was passed around at Christmas for 5 years as a gag gift.

I like fruitcake but it has to come from Colin Street Bakery located in Corsicana, TX. I never liked it before until I had some from there & it is really good.
Why does the HOH always tell the Noms we can talk if you want? What is there to talk about? The HOH can't vote so the Noms need to be talking to the other HG...who cares what the HOH is thinking at this point! Unless they do the new trend the last couple of seasons & the whole house is going to vote the way the HOH wants.

It is a widespread rumor. I believe that the HGs could possibly be going to sequester, but I would doubt Annie, because she was shown her goodbye videos... and in the role of saboteur, she was not successful.
CBS made a statement that all the house guests would go to sequester and they are doing interviews via monitored email.
Ryan - ITA. She does save her bitchiness towards the other houseguests for when she's alone with Monet, mostly. We are just privy to it because of the feeds. And let's not forget that the first bitchy dagger was thrown by Rachel to Monet when Rachel picked her name to play for POV. I'd be bitchy towards her too.
I'm sure Monet did NOT miss her BFF crying to Brendon. There so will be drama between them!

From the beginning, I have tried to like Britney, but she reminded me too much of April. I was happy she was engaged, so we didn't have to deal with a showmance from her, but still, she is annoying me. She is mean, and her comments towards Andrew are not cool to say the least. I agree she is entertaining, and c'mon, that is why we watch, but I'm not sure I can get behind her. But it's only week 2, so we'll see what she does now and hopefully she will redeem herself somehow.
I'm thinking we will see a lot of testosterone around here this week. Boys have the numbers!

Syn - I totally agree that it's all about the game in the house. And, every single one of the past & present HG made/make personal comments about other HG when they are angry or their feelings have been hurt. And, the living situation is so close it's gonna happen. But, IMO it can be overlooked when they are angry or hurt. But, Britney (& Monet) take it to a whole new level. They pick ppl apart as a hobby & to me it just shows it is a part of their de"mean"or & not just the situation of being in the house. Like I said Britney has been entertaining at times & if she would just stop the cattiness she would go up a whole new level in my eyes.

And Jane while watching season 9 back, I found at that each evicted houseguest was sequestered in their own house. Since it was couples season, Jen and Parker as well as Alex and Amanda were in one house each. Jacob was in a house by himself, as was Allison.
MsFitz - I think if we get to see Monet leave this week, Britney will have lost her partner in crime, and I don't think she will talk about the other people as much as she does currently.
