On feeds before Andrew and Matt hashed things out. Seems that whole thing is fixed. Andrew isn't pleased with Brendon and Rachel either. Guess I don't need Andrew's DRs now. Still want to see them though, maybe he is playing Matt too.
All the while Rachel and Brendon are still trying to help Monet stay.

I still haven't picked a favorite player to root for. I have been on the fence about Matt all week. I get the strategy part of his thought process, but I felt he was walking a very fine line.
After hearing the whole sick wife story I really do not like him. I think it crosses from a strategic move to a slimeball move. I realize that a lot of people will disagree.
The thing that bothers me most is the way he is using Ragan. If it were only an alliance or two people who enjoy each others company I could be a little more forgiving. But Ragan is developing what he believes to be a real friendship that goes above and beyond the game. Matt is not only allowing it, he is encouraging it and taking advantage of it. Ragan could win the game and still end up being really hurt.
I never did think Matt was as intelligent as he seems to think he is. Now I just think he is disgusting.

ok, that's pretty much how I remembered that convo going - Rachel was full of it in the smackdown last night - more of what Matt said was true. B&R were trying to strong arm, and Matt didn't "deal" for safety. Still, now that I know about Matt's lie about his wife....ugh. I've been away for a bit as I was in a little accident :( I'm off work for a bit, but I'm ok.
Anyhow... back tot he game. The sooner Monet, Rachel and Brenden are gone the better. I'm not a huge fan of Brittany, but she can be quote funny.
I'm still on Team Matt but he really didn't have to lie about his wife. I don't think by him making up she had a disease helped or hurt his game. Just makes him look a little bad to the viewers. However, if that's his strategy, and it works, I guess he'll win.
Anyone else already getting excited for the BB12 reunion? Should be action packed this year. Only week 2 and chaos already!!

CBS is actually doing a nice edit job with all the footage they had to bring the TV only crowd up to date.
With It - I think she is just one of those people that just talk loud. You could be watching people on the hammock and you can hear her laughing from the jacuzzi.

I am behind on the show but I have to make one comment for right now!!!!
MATT (sorry for the caps) I just had a feeling deep down he was lying about his wife but I never said anything because I didn't want to sound cynical about him if it was true. But now, for the guy I liked & hoped to see him go far has just fallen off my list all the way to the bottom. I didn't have a real dislike toward anyone in this game but now I do. What irritates me is there are ppl really suffering w/ this disease & he is using it to win a TV show game. Is this one lower than Johnny Fairplay from Survivor? Oh, there will be some who think it is great strategy & maybe it is but I will wash, rinse, repeat on my reason for really disliking that kind of strategy....real ppl are truly suffering from this!!!
I don't think I would be able to forgive my husband/boyfriend/partner for lying about me. Lying about themselves is different, but still. I would be afraid God would punish me when I had kids or something. I am a firm believer in karma coming back to slap a person when they least expect it.
I lost a lot of respect for his gameplay tonight.
I guess I am rooting for Ragan and Andrew now!
A few week 2 reflections
1. I'm shocked it's going to be endurance tomorrow.
2. I wish we could learn more about Andrew. I like that he seems to be holding his cards close, but I want to know more about his strategy
3. I am so disappointed, Matt was my preseason favorite - that'll teach me.

The way I have been this season I'll probably be the one that wusses this time. I just can NOT stay awake. I don't understand why. I'm not taking anything, or anything stronger, for pain more than before.
Ahhh that season of 13 hours. Have I been here that long? Seriously, I don't remember how long I have been with you, but I sure am glad I found my way here whenever it was. I love being on the no stress side of a website.

I like Matt but what if he wins HOH and we see pictures of his castless, healthy wife? That wasn't well thought through was it? I don't think sympathy ever works in this show. I also feel bad for Ragan (who really should know better for being such a fan). I think Matt really does like Ragan but is putting the game first (Ragan is my 2nd favourite so I hope I'm not wrong).
Andrew can't come out with Matt's lie though because they think he's a shoe salesman. He could get rid of Matt by spilling but then he'd be next out.

I can't get all bent out of shape about Matt's lie, I don't really see how one lie is worse than another. It's just a bit creepy, but that's for him to live with. If his wife doesn't mind, more power to him. Frankly cruelty to others is far worse in my book.
That said, I so enjoy Andrew's response and for a super genius I find it interesting that Matt doesn't question a job like shoe salesman with a clearly intelligent 40 year old man. Not that there aren't intelligent shoe salesman, but this is BB and if you aren't 22, that's a pretty bad gig to bluff on.
Seems like a 'genius' could come up with a better strategy than-'my wife needs an operation.' I'm disgusted with this guy.

Genie, yummy. Us Cajuns will eat ANYTHING... almost. Some of us have never touched something but I can't say that here. Most Cajuns eat 'that' too.
I didn't see the sickening showmancing of R&B. Not really a hint of it other than a tad bit of talk. I think a lights out, or even on, heavy petting session could have given the TV Only's a better idea of what's really going on. I did like that they showed that this HoH is truly Rachel's and Brendon's input means very little to her.
I already put in the thing about how AGP should show how much Britney was lying about never talking bad about anyone in the house. I want to see a montage after that with all her venom spewing about everyone there.
Is Kathy in the house? Did we see her at all tonight?
And nothing on Kristen and Hayden. They have been going long enough for that to make the edit.

I agree that Matt is totally wrong for using his wife's disease to get some sympathy. However didn't Andrew, the doctor, say the name of the disease was not even a medical term? If no one has actually suffered from this made up disease...I could be okay Matt's strategy...

I don't really have a problem with Matt's lie. This early in the game no one will remember anyway. If he does it at final two, if he makes it, then yes it's bad. Right now though I don't think it helps or hurts him.
You should see my feeds right now. They freeze but not all the way so the picture just blends together. At one point I had four Brits on the screen crossing the kitchen at the same time.

Jane, trying to talk myself into agreeing with you about Matt's lie. I actually didn't love him in the pre-season interview. I think he thinks he's too smart. But I've enjoyed him in the house more than I expected to and am not ready to hate him :-)

I also agree about B & R. I am over them and their showmance. Rachel plays the victim well and Brendon is easier on MY eyes, so Rachel can go first, in my opinion.

Wow I read up on the disease that Matt claims his wife has, horrible for him to think this is funny. If he wins the game or comes in second, he should donate every dollar of his winnings to this cause. I so think he is slime for this tactic. To me this is stepping over the integrity line

Hi everyone,
A few observations:
As a disabled person (Cerebral Palsy) I have a huge problem with anyone who lies about a disability/disease. I have always felt that I needed to be as honest about what I have in order to promote understanding about my disability and to help other to see me as close to being "normal" as possible.
For Matt to make that claim is despicable and I can no longer root for him. What he has done, in my opinion, shows blatant disrespect for people who do have it.
Sorry for the rant.
I didn't think Rachael or Hayden were yelling in the DR.
Do Britney & Monet realize that people are watching them ad know what they have said?
