Big Brother 12: Howie's BBDish Blog!
In advance of the Sunday Show viewing party which will begin in a new top post at 7:50pm Eastern/4:50pm BBT, it's time to check in with our resident BB Alum Blogger, Howie Gordon, from Big Brother 6 and All Stars. As you know, Howie's a tv only, but even he can't escape the odd spoiler. ;) Here's Howie's take on the season to date!
Take it away, Howie! :)
I pretty much knew Kristen would be going home on Thursday. The hidden Brigade has the votes. Someone already spilled the beans on my FB page. So I know Matt won HOH. He is the endurance man.
As of right now, The Brigade and Rachel have won every single HoH competition. And Britney and Brendan have won all of the VETOS. So, there are a lot of floaters that are hanging onto life vests.
Now, I am guilty of this during my Big Brother days, as well. I didn’t fully understand BB until years later. People are always like, I try not to lie, I try not to deceive, or I try to play a certain way. Or, I left this game with dignity. Give me a break!
Just like in football, where the object of the game is to sack the quarterback, the object of Big Brother is to get to the end without physically threatening or killing someone.
Big Brother is not about saving the seals. Oh... "I came to BB to help my acting career," "I came to BB for a summer vacation." Hello, people! BB is about getting to the end and winning the money. That is acquired by doing whatever it takes to get to the end. If you wanna save the seals or keep your dignity or promote your religion/cause/team/whatever, then march with the Grass Roots activists.
Tackling is LEGAL in football. Knocking people down is LEGAL in football. Lying is LEGAL in BB. Telling false stories is LEGAL in BB. Those are the rules of the game. So if you swear on your life, or sell out your family at home, then it is ok, because that is part of the GAME!
The GAME! The GAME! And that is all it is.
I think the Brigade is gonna throw a grenade at Rachel/Brendan.
The complete structure of the house hasn’t really changed much. Except, that there are less HGs, and the Brigade is still at FULL strength. The House had better make a move soon, or the floaters will really be holding life vests. If the Brigade gets to the half way point without taking a hit, then wattttttccccchhhh owwwwwwwwttttttttttt!
