Shelly's been in the Purple Room with the BB Fortune Teller, and she did something to bring it to life.. She's talking to it, begging it to come to life and talk to her. We can hear all kinds of whirring noises, and the 'Do Not Disturb" sign is gone.
There's a knock at the door, and Shelly says, "Who is it?!"
When it's Kalia, she lets her in, begging she not say a word to anyone, but that she's figured it out.. to some degree.. she just wont talk to her.
Shelly: Toss me 1 bone, lady. Please, one bone.
According to the tweets of the BBFortune Teller on twitter, she will only perform for Golden Key Holders, so Shelly's a yes, but as long as Kalia's present, she shouldn't do anything..
Kalia: Come on lady, say something.
Shelly: Say something, please!!!! Throw me a bone.
Kalia: There's no way that things gonna start moving and talking for no reason. We've been in here for 57 days. Stop crying wolf. C'mon. Say something.
Shelly wants to keep Rachel and Jordan out of this room at all costs...

Shelly jiggles and pokes and puts in her quarter. This time it keps her quarter, instead of spitting it out.

The fortune teller lights up and moves a bit. It's lips move, but no sounds come out.
Shelly: She just keeps doing the same thing.
Kalia: Don't you think they would say stop that if we weren't supposed to touch it?
Shelly: Go take a leak. It aint goin' anywhere.

Shelly: (whispers) come on.. what else.. what else..
Shelly goes back over to her and checks her out, poking and prodding.. even lifting her wig..
Shelly: Go.. gimme something before she gets back. I don't want her to know.

Shelly: What do you want us to do? Come on. Please.
Kalia: Is there a question we're supposed to ask?
Shelly: Please, tell me my fortune. Please don't make me look like an idiot talking to a machine.

Shelly: Sorceress, reverse the Pandora's Box. I've been good. I've cleaned your room 100 times.
Kalia: We're so close. Help us with this last hurdle..
Shelly: Did I tell you you look pretty today?
Kalia: Your boobs look awfully perky.
Shelly approaches...
Shelly: I don't think it talks.. I guarantee they're all laughing at me.
Kalia: Who cares?! And I also can hear voices, and they're not laughing.

Then Porsche moves on to the pacts between people. As for her and Rachel's, she voided it in her mind a long time ago. She's all newbie. All the time. And she's feeling very confident about the PoV today. "Beating Jeff while he was on the block," did wonders for her self-confidence in the game. Adam replies, "Trust me, I was working with Jeff, but I wanted more than anything for someone else to get him out."
Porsche returns to her pre-season interview stance.. "I'm here to be the pretty one."

Kalia returns to the Purple Room... Shelly's neuroses over the Fortune Teller have multiplied. On the one hand, she points out that she's sure production has gotten enough footage of her being an idiot. She's sure that if she leaves the room, someone else will come in and the Fortune Teller will turn on and bestow something wonderful upon them. Kalia gives her a click, "Nope, not for me."
Shelly: I guarantee you this is just to freak us out.
Kalia: But if it's not, and you end up with some massive power, you're gonna be glad you did this.
Shelly: I tried to give it that almond bar.. Nothing.
Kalia: (to Fortune Teller) You have an attitude problem.
Kalia: (to Shelly) You know what's funny? They're still out there pounding away.
Shelly: oh, really...

Shelly's position makes it look like she's praying at an altar.. When she arises, you can see the frustration in her face. Then back down she goes, crouching with one hand on the base of the machine.. looking up at the fortune teller.. Shelly trades her crouch for a full on sit on the floor, her hand never leaving the base..
When she does remove her hand, the whirring noises stop. As soon as she replaces her hand, they start back up again.. remove, stop, replace, start...

After a brief palm tree break, the feeds return to show Shelly has left the purple room in search of pepto... She gets it, and returns immediately to the purple room, by 5:09pm. She goes straight to the Fortune Teller, spends several minutes trying to get it to speak to her, and then at 5:13, she returns to the purple cushion, chastising herself, yet again.

I really don't think the fortune teller will affect the game. At least not this week, because there was already a Pandora's Box, and twist when the duo rule was brought back.
This is not the first time someone has got the fortune teller to turn on, Rachel did it back in week 2 or 3 (can't remember exactly what week).
I think Shelly just knows that she could potentially be leaving this week if Jordan and Rachel win POV (hopefully.)
So I think she is getting a little desperate and is willing to do anything to stay alive.

As I've said in prior seasons, BB always makes me "feel" emotions that make me "think" about my life. About people and events in my life currently or in the past that bring up these strong emotions in me.
Shelly I'm sure that MY reaction to her is based on the betrayals I've felt from people that I have trusted and protected and turned around and hurt me deeply by lying to me or doing things behind my back while I was busy loving them.

I can only speak for myself and say that Jordon's innocence is what draws me to her and has me rooting for her. It's not about her intellect. It's about the heart I see in her. Right now, I'm enjoying watching her hang in there and fight for herself and her ally.
With regard to Jeff, I enjoy his humor and his ability to remain as positive as possible in this situation. I also love their relationship.. I see their love for each other and how they enjoy each other.

Unlike the rest of you, I'm in the minority when I say that I hope Shelly gets a special power, perhaps a DPOV, and gets to stay. Everyone is mad at Shelly for bashing Jordan and Rachel, but no one thinks twice to bash Shelly. Seems quite like a double standard to me.

I'm so worried that BB will consider the Golden Key a punishment for losing your teammate and this is the reward. When the game has been SO floater heavy lately that the Golden Key was the ultimate reward (shame Dani didn't just coast through hers). Fingers crossed Shelly, Adam, and/or Porsche don't get some benefit now. Now Adam got ZERO benefit from the key...Dom was evicted and he got key...and then the key part ended seconds later. So maybe he deserves SOMETHING since his key was a joke.

Before I saw this article I understood the feelings of dislike for Shelly...but she has really done nothing other players have not done and this is far beyond being a fan..of ANYONE.
I think so many people are outraged at Shelley's behavior and have such strong feelings against her is because she rode such a moral high ground for so long, and still seems to even believe it herself. If she owned her lies and betrayals like many houseguests have over the years, I don't think she would be so hated.

fortune teller said only the golden key holder but then said that she knew jeff would open the box he is a curious one. I think it has to do with the hoh key and the coin taped behind the box.

I am NOT a fan of Shelly's but the way everything she does is twisted and everything the others HAVE done is excused (like Jeff the hero's explosive bullying) is mind baffling to me. IMHO.

I was just catching up on the earlier posts and I agree with everything you said. I have been trying to say all along that bullies come in different shapes and sizes. I find the things these women (and I use the term loosely) have done to be the absolute worst kind of bullying. I could take Jeff's hot temper any time and walk away feeling fine about myself. But the kind of constant bashing these 3, and Dani when she was there, have done can just wear a person down physically and emotionally.
I hope Janelle has NOTHING to do with this fortune teller or POV. Since she has a prior relationship with Porsche, I don't think that is fair or looks good for BB...
While she may not be able to do anything to help Porshe in the comp, the fact that she would be there could be considered an encouragement for Porsche...
I've been waiting and commenting on the Fortune Teller machine for 3 weeks now! I'm glad it's finally starting to come into play. Not too happy about Shelly come straight out of the box and heading to use it though...hmm...

Porsche's claim for the umpteenth time about her role on BB was to be the pretty one...yuck! I've also heard her refer to herself as the hot girl.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone will have a different opinion. Seven women started this game and based only on physical looks, I would have put at least 4 other girls ahead of her on the pretty scale. Once she opened her mouth and started showing her sparkling personality, well I see a whole lotta ugly going around.

I think I figured it out!!! The fortune teller will only speak if Rachel is in the room. Then it will lift it's arm, point at Shelly and say, "The TRUE evil dog is trying to get you, and she has your little dog too."
I hope the only thing the Fortune Teller does is yell Boo at Shelly to make her pee her pants! It would be so funny if it would only talk to Jordon! That would sure make The rest really mad! Jordon should be America's Player for being such a sweetheart and giving Shelly that phone call and showing Shelly that lying about Jordon calling her a bitch wasn't a good thing. Or even let the fortune teller tell Shelly and the rest that she shouldn't lie about stupid stuff! That would be awesome too!

OMG that article about Shelly is horrible! The fact that another site is running it is nearly as bad. Do I like her game play? NO. But never ever ever should any house guest face anything like that.
We all pick our favorites, and when they are ousted, lied to, turned on, we vent, but I honestly do not think that anyone here ever wishes anyone harm. My goodness.
I am sickened by just the little bit I read on the link that was posted. I am praying for Shelly and her family, for their safety and security now and once she is out. Yes you assume a reality show will change your life, but I do not think anyone ever assumes it will change it in that way. I am stunned.

On another note, I do not remember how 9-11 was handled, as far as the guests being told about it when it happened. So can someone fill me in on how they will tell them about hurricane Irene? I believe Jordan is from NC. I am assuming they wait till it is over, and let her how things are with her family.
To whomever asked if BB would tell Adam about Hurricane Irene hitting the Jersey Shore, I seriously doubt it. September 11 was the only time they ever told houseguests about a significant out-of-house event. That being said, Hurricane Irene is a Category 1 hurricane at this point. There isn't much reason TO tell him about it.
I also don't think they will have Janelle come in this season. Her relationship with Porsche probably prevents it--it would be seen as a reward to Porsche and unfair to the other houseguests. We all know BB doesn't want something to seem unfair (see Jen's penalty nom turned penalty eviction vote from BB8).

Production had to say something to Shelly! Why else would she spend so much time messing with it? Also she's convinced all of a sudden that there's something to it & doesn't want anyone else to know ? Where is everyone else? Just so happens no one else in the house goes by the room & sees her? All of this is starting to irritate me! Not because it's Shelly but because production is so obvious it takes away from the fun of the game . If I weren't so invested already I would stop watching! What if they go in the yard and there is a fortune teller box out there for veto. Then after getting clues and playing the winner of veto opens the box and someone comes out of it. ( the clues from the fortune teller said that when opened a legend might be revealed!)
Wow and after further investigation into Allison's tweet regarding true BB Fans not acting like this...people, err, fans...have taken their hate for Shelly to an entire new level. Even I could not finish the article. Hate on her all you want, but hold any personal hating on her until you see her stance once she is out of the house or even in Jury.

I'm not sure why there are so many messages on this site about stopping the hate and not ruining HG's lives. If anyone here was trying to ruin someone's life we wouldn't be here, we would be on the site that we keep getting warned about.
I heard about the "America hates Shelly Moore" facebook page and about the "America loves Shelly Moore" facebook page. If you want to support Shelly go hit like on the 'love' page. Write something nice and who knows, maybe she'll read it when she gets home.
As far as the other page, unless you know a way to have it taken down the best thing you can do is don't talk about it and keep giving those people more attention. I don't know about anyone else but I don't go looking for those things and wouldn't even know a lot of them exist if people didn't keep talking about them. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you can't stop it don't give them free publicity because that's what they're looking for.
For the same reason I was disgusted when K,P and A were talking about deliberately trying to cause Rachel to have a miscarraige, I am equally disgusted that people are wishing awful things on Shelly's daughter. The one comment I did read would make me think that the person who wrote it poses a danger to society and should be thrown in jail. For God's sake, as much as I want Rachel to get a little payback for her dog, I also said that I actually wouldn't want her to take Shelly's dog because it's really not Shelly's. It's Josie's and Josie is an innocent bystander. For me to be worried about a stuffed animal, I was pretty disgusted to see the comment I referred to above (which I refuse to repeat).
On a lighter note, I don't like any facebook page, fan site, anti-fan site or anything at all that starts out with America loves or America hates. I am American and unless I have decided for myself don't assume that you know what I'm thinking. Every year I try to use telepathy to warn the HGs-if you say 'America loves me' well, I'm probably not even gonna like you.

It doesn't come across as game play. Her comments and hatred towards the others goes above and beyond a game....
You can question decisions someone else makes without spewing venom and attacking them personally. What have J/R done on a personal level in regards to their comments about Shelly?
Shelly, however, has crossed the line and back about 50 times in the past week. Say what you want, but the dislike fans now have for her is proof that she went too far...

As someone who has evacuated New Jersey I feel I can speak for most Jersian's, although the hurricane is only a category 1, it is 500 miles wide and only moving north at a rate of 14 mph, which means it is slowly moving out of areas, all the while blowing 85 mph winds for long periods of time. There is major flooding all along the coast, and a couple tornados from DE to NYC (which Adam lives 5 mikes from). The lives that will be lost may be small in comparison to September 11, but the amount of lives affected and loss of homes more. I don't think it should be dismissed just because it's a category 1...

I lived in Orlando for several years so I understand what being in a hurricane is like. I was there for Charley (and almost died, actually), and I was there for Jeanne, which was extremely slow-moving, among others. I get that they are extra scary if they are out of the ordinary for your part of the country. I wasn't meaning to troll or dismiss anyone's concerns about Irene, and I'm sorry if it came off that way. I was more trying to say that they have not notified houseguests of stronger hurricanes in the past so I doubt they would for a lesser hurricane. You can argue that none of the houseguests may have been from those areas, but they could have known people or had family there. Regardless, they don't notify them about these things, and my point was that I don't think they will start now. Again, no offense was meant, and I sincerely hope that you, your friends, and your family are safe.
