Big Brother 14 Rumors & 1st Look into the BB14 House!
Today on CBS' The Talk, we got our very 1st quick little glimpse into the house! And by this time next week, we should know who the BB14 HGs will be!!!
7 more days and we'll be looking at their faces and reading their bios... right here on BB14Dish. Yes!! We should also know what or who the 4 big surprises are!
The 29.99 Early Bird Special on the Live Feeds is yours for the taking until July 11th! If you want your BB now, hop on in and enjoy the flashbacks from BB12 and BB13. :) It's always good idea to get a feel of the new digs before season starts.
OK.. There are a lot of rumors circulating about the coming season, and since this is the last week before the reveal, there's only so much time to even address those! ;) Let's talk about a couple... "Four Big Surprises" -- I'm usually not one to speculate, but this one's got me going, and it just seems logical with the incredible ratings success of BB13 that they might want to revisit the Alumni v Newbies format for BB14.
That said, here are a trio of the more plausible rumors being whispered in my ear:
- Rumor 1: Big Brother 14 will consist of 14 newbies split into 2 teams of 7. The 4 Big Surprises will be 4 veteran players, with 2 on each team as captain and co-captain...This brings the starting HG body count to 18, fulfilling the promise of most HGs ever.
- Rumor 2: Big Brother 14 will consist of all Big Brother newbies, but include one or more Survivor Alumni. The name being tossed around the rumor mill most is Survivor's Ultimate Villain, Russell Hantz. Why not? He'd probably be incredible for ratings, bringing in a Survivor cross-over audience, and he's a shoe in to out evil Evel just by being himself.
- Rumor 3: There will be more than 1 double elimination. This one just seems logical. With more bodies in the house than ever, they're gonna have to get rid of a couple of them quicker, so Big Brother can end before the CBS fall line-up begins.

I'm most excited about the prospect of veterans coming back. I don't know why, but this always makes it more interesting. I really hope they do another BB All-stars sometime. I think all of these rumors make sense. I don't know how you find this out Caro, but you rock! I need to add a link to your site on my site. A lot of my readers love BB. I'm about to do that. They really need to stop bringing back the old people unless america really gets to vote on them so that decent people can be brought back. Rumor has it Brendan and Rachel will be back and that will just be awful. I will not watch if they are on. They have beyond outstayed their welcome.
I would LOVE to see Russell on BB, esp if it was with ED. That'd be a team worth watching.
I love the idea of having more to start with...just more confusion and drama starting earlier, which is always good. :)

I haven't had time to give it much thought, but maybe the four big surprises are 4 big celebs playing with newbies!! I've always dreamt of that but I hope they'll hold onto thart idea fro my season and put Kat Dennings in there. :-p

I've read your posts for a few seasons, and decided to try my hand at commenting this year. Time to get started! I really hope they don't bring back experienced BB players again - at least, not as players. It's fun to see them come in and wreak havoc and then go. I like the Survivor crossover idea, although I've never watched! Maybe it would get me interested in that show. Love Ilissa's idea of bringing in celebs, but doubt it will happen. They'd need to be out in time to film those fall episodes!
I really could do without bring back former players unless its a complete All-Stars season. The newbies last year basically had no chance at all because of the vets. I'm not really interested in seeing that again.
As for the survivor guy, I don't watch Survivor so anyone would just be someone new to me.
I think the game is best when its all newbies, all strangers since then they have no idea who these people are, or how they interact. That to me is part of these fun of the game.

Can not wait for this seasons surprises! There are a few I would love to see again play the game. I like the idea of the vet captain/co-captain senario with newbies... maybe the "good" vet team vs. the "Villian" house guest... Yeeks cant wait.
I think the Brenchel rumor is coming from the media pic that was leaked. It showed HOH comp props with house guests names on them, and Brendon and Rachel were two of them.
I don't think it means anything.
I'd bet big money that Brenchel wouldn't be brought back for more than a comp hosting gig :)
Besides, many people said they would not watch last season because of Brenchel, and then turned into Rachel lovers by the end of the season (me being one of them)
Never speak the words "I will not watch this season"! It's irresistible!
I wouldn't mind seeing Troyzan from the most recent Survivor season. I think he might be great at BB.
I tried out for this season of BB, but I guess I came off too dull (fantastic misperception!). So many people just go on every audition in the city (NYC, here) without ever having seen any of the shows for which they are auditioning. Some of them were complaining about how long it takes to get into the audition because they have so many more to attend in any given day. It is disheartening to think that some of those people get cast on BB, but we know they do. It makes me want to root for superfan houseguests that much more!

I am so excited! How awesome would it be to have a couple of stars from the CBS primetime shows! I think they should get one from the lowest rated show on each night. Talk about increasing the ratings! Everyone wins that way!
Morning Carolyn, I am so very super excited about this year's Big Brother! I sure do wish they'd start it sometime in mid to late June so that it is finished before the school year begins. I do hope that Evel comes back! What fun that would be. Oh, by the way Carolyn, what are your thoughts on The Glass House? I think there will be two double eliminations this seasons. It just makes sense.
If they have more players this year than ever before (and the most having been 16 one season) and given the time constraints of the summer season, it only makes sense, time wise.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to launch day and the premiere of BB!!
