Saturday Morning in the Big Brother 15 House
Holy Early Wake Up, BB! 7:30am on a Saturday? Ouch! BB means business. Soon the HGs will be finding out who the MVP nominee is, and the HoH will pick the final 2 players for the Power of Veto Comp. And then, they play...
If this is your first time on BBDish today, and you'd like to get caught up on what went down last night, here's the link for The Overnight Report.
To quickly recap:
- Aaryn nominated Elissa and Helen
- Elissa won MVP
- Aaryn
- Elissa
- Helen
- MVP Nom - Jeremy
- Nick
- Amanda
8:38am
Cam 3
Amanda and Helen
Amanda: Did Elissa win MVP? Did she say? I didn't even want to ask her.
Helen: She knows what to do.
8:44am
Jeremy and Judd
Jeremy: I'm ready. I hope it's a puzzle. I wanna show that I'm not just a physical threat but a mental threat too.
**Jeremy assumes he's being put up.
8:45
Jeremy, Kaitlin, Aaryn
HoH
Jeremy: She's definitely putting me up, guys.. I have ears around.. She's doing it because she thinks it's a mental challenge, and she thinks I'm a de-dee-dee..
Kaitlin: I think she'd be so stupid to put you up.
Aaryn: I do too.
Jeremy: She's trying to get rid of all the guys.
Aaryn: Do you think she was put in here to see how many guys she could get rid of?
Jessie enters. She has come into the HoH to change her contacts and fuss with her hair.. No one quite knows why.
Aaryn: If both of you are playing, can you imagine how awesome that would be?
Kaitlin: I wonder what guy she'll put up if Jeremy wins. She said, "I hope it's a competition that a guy can't... " and then she stopped because I walked in the room.
Kaitlin: I think she's throwing everyone off on who she's putting up. I don't think it's you. Just like she threw everyone off, saying she was putting up Nick, and then putting David up.
As she leaves..
Jessie: Let's rock it out.
8:54am
Cam 3
Aaryn has teased her hair into a nest of sorts... The bigger the hair, the closer to God, I guess.
Please refresh this post periodically and more information will magically appear. :) If you'd like to try out the feeds for yourself, here's a 2 day trial to get you started.
9:14am
Amanda and McCrae
Bathroom
Amanda tells McCrae that Elissa confirmed she got MVP and that Jeremy will be going up.
Amanda: She said it without saying it.
Helen comes in. McCrae leaves.
Amanda: Helen, you're in a really good place this week. I just want you to know that. You have nothing to worry about.
Helen: Thank you.
9:18am
Skippy flips Cam 3 up to HoH
Kaitlin: Why do you have so much trust in this house?
Jeremy: I deserve to be here. Others don't. Fact.
*my tongue is bleeding.. I bit it too hard.
9:53am Fishies fishies fishies.. For quite some time now. I think they're having the PoV Player Picking and Skippy just forgot to flip over to the Trivia screen...
10:20am - Feeds are back!
Cam 1 and 2 - Spencer and Amanda -
Amanda: No, I don't want to win.
**ok, she's playing pov
Cam 3 and 4 - Elissa and Nick
Elissa: If you build a barrier of trust with me, I told you I wont replace you. You're not going up. She's not going to replace Helen or I if she wins Veto, and if Jeremy wins Veto, I get to choose the replacement. I'm trying to build a rapport. You want to build a rapport.
Nick: Of course.
Elissa: Shake on it.
He does.
Elissa: If you throw it..
Nick: If Jeremy wins it, you're putting me up.
Elissa: Not if you throw it.
**That Confirms Nick's playing for PoV.
Nick: How many other people do I need to build a rapport with?
Elissa: Helen wouldn't want you to win it. She wants for she or I to win it. I'm saying, if you build some sort of trust with me.. I just want you to be a nice guy. Jeremy has done such mean things. Do you condone men bullying women?
Nick: No.
Elissa: So let's get him out of the house.
Nick: Gimme 30 minutes to think about it.
Elissa: If it was the final jury, I would much rather see you up there than Jeremy. Him winning half a million dollars would be a crime to society.
10:27am
Feed 4
Howard comes into the Have Not Room. Elissa asks him to pray with her.. He leads..
As soon as Howard leaves, Andy comes in, not so subtly digging for information.. She deflects.
10:56am
Cockpit
Spencer, Andy, Judd, Howard.. Then McCrae joins.
Andy: There were 4 people kicked off of BB?!
Judd: The guy who held the knife to the girl, The guy with STDs
Spencer: That'd be embarrassing.
Judd: Then Chima for her mic throwing thing.
Spencer: Chima was a wild animal.
Andy: I kinda liked her at the beginning..
Spencer: I did too.
Andy: It's crazy that Michele is a porn star now.
More about Michele in porn.. which leads to BB10 Steven..
**They get so caught up in the porn talk, they forget the 4th - Willie Hantz.
Andy: I've seen Steven's. Steven's is hard core.
McCrae: For as long as I've ever followed him on twitter.
Andy: The only Big Brother person I follow in twitter is @RaganFox.
McCrae: I follow all of em.
Talk turns to drugs.. Celebrity use, not heir own.
Howard: They say Richard Pryor had a fruit bowl full of cocaine. A fruit bowl.
11:04am
Downstairs Bathroom..
Aaryn, Elissa
Aaryn: (yelling at Elissa) I would appreciate it if you would stop talking about my medical conditions. Stop talking about my Adderall. You talk about how mature you are, and you wont stop talking about it.
Aaryn bolts up to HoH, where Kaitlin and Amanda are present.
Kaitlin: What's wrong?
Aaryn: Just the Adderall thing.
Amanda: Just what she said?
Aaryn: It's potentially a rules violation, to talk about.. people's medical conditions. (exhales) If I didn't take adderall, I'd be crazy.
Amanda: I'm on Adderall.
Kaitlin: Don't even stress about it.
Aaryn: I'm not stressing about it. I love it when this stuff happens right before competitions.
11:07am
BB: Ginamarie, please come to the Diary Room.
Judd: Here we go!
Cam 3
11:08a
Have Not Room
Elissa: I don't know what her problem is.. (paraphrasing) Adderall's not such a big deal..
Candice: But why'd she yell at you about it?
11:11am
Andy comes in to the Have Not Room to ask Elissa why she didn't tell him she got MVP, and to reassure her she can trust him..
11:18am
Feed 3 and 4
Aaryn tells Amanda, Kaitlin and Jessie how the drama between her and ELissa started.
Aaryn: She came up to me and said, Congrats, I know you're getting MVP. I knew, from that point forward, that she would be deflecting and putting attention on me. I knew, fom day 2, that someone was going around trashing my name.. So then day 3, she comes to me saying, I hear that you're going around telling people I'm Rachel's sister. I said, I'll admit to that. I did it because I heard you're going aroun d telling people I'm MVP.
Aaryn's explanation is ongoing on Cam 3 and 4, if you'd like to watch it on flashback.
11:27am
Feed 3 and 4
Nick and McCrae are talking about Amanda.. McCrae's trying to protect her. Nick knows he's on her hit list.
11:28 Fishies!
11:42am Trivia! The PoV Competition has begun! We'll see you back here in a new top post just as soon as the feeds come back... maybe even a little sooner. ;-)
44 Comments:
Good Morning Carolyn
Here's to the MC cutting the fat and realizing that it's in their best interest to get rid of Jeremy. Who would like to see a 2fer with Spencer following him out the door? Better yet, dismantle this MC completely and have a do-over of forming completely new alliances.
Kaitlin, talking about Elissa: "Her logic doesn't make any sense." said the girl who used no logic ever.
Note to Kaitlin-Underwear are NOT pants.
I would love to have Elissa win POV. Than what would Mr Bully (Jeremy) say.
Morning Carolyn, You better keeps some ice around today.
I agree fully Grendon!!! Elissa would be stupid to not put up Jeremy.
You can tell I have nothing to do when I start commenting repeatedly. In this season of drama and controversy I just thought of something kind of funny.
Remember a long time ago (10 whole days) when we thought Jessie would be the most hated person in the house? Now she seems like a mere annoyance compared to at least 1/3 of the other HGs.
I want Elissa to win the POV so badly. And I want Jeremy to go. He is obnoxious.
Aaryn appears to be a Britney clone. Self-Absorbed, delusional about her impact/importance in the game, creating drama/assuming she knows whats going on with the rest of the cast when she has no clue, fails to see that she is behaving & doing the EXACT same things that she's complaining about others doing... A total idiot. ;-)
Morning guys and gals.. This will be a fun day on the feeds.. with the POV, MVP... such fun for a saturday!! will be checking in the feeds on and off during the day today and of course here Dishing!!
It would make sense to me for the MC to be Spencer, Howard,McCrae,Nick and Elissa. She may very well win MVP every week she is in the house. They can use her nom to their favor. Jeremy is a diplorable human. I get the showmance but I am so tired of seeing Kaitlyn mount Jeremy. How do you kill a snake cut the head odd. Jeremy is the head.
This guy Jeremy needs to get over himself...
I would have rather kept David in than him.
I have to agree, TOTALLY, with everybody who sees Jeremy for the arrogant and bullying character he seems to be determined to shove down the throats of every single live-feed viewer.
But having him removed based on those two reasons?!? Can you say Evil Dick?
I have never wanted production to interfere with the game and/or basically give it to a houseguest more than I do today.
@Caro: It is really, really early in the season; and you're already biting your tongue hard enough to make it bleed?
Get some dentures, girl! Yer gums won't slice yer tongue. *smile*
I wish the bigotry would stop, not only for the obvious reasons, but so we could focus on other aspects of the HGs. I have lots of thoughts.
For instance, statistically, that's a damn lot of people on Adderall. I know people with adult ADD and neither of those women seems to have the slightest symptoms. Meds are not magic. Though I tend to believe Amanda more then Aaryn, you know, for not good reasons, just because Aaryn is Aaryn.
WTH is BB doing putting an active severe bulimic in that situation without treatment? They are putting her in serious danger. And what will GM do when she finds out she lost her job? I suspect she is less a bigot and more desperately insecure and went along with the cool kids. That's no defense, but I don't want to see a post-BB suicide.
Does anybody else wonder how this letter (posted in the Friday Afternoon comments), got credited to Aaryn's father?
I believe it has been commented that it appears to have been written by a younger mind; I would agree, what with it's name-calling and quick-to-anger knee-jerk response as opposed to a well-reasoned or well-thought-out response.
Oh Em Gee -- Jeremy, with his natural-intelligence, hacked the computer and sent that letter.
I would not put Britney in the same category as Aaryn. Aarynn is hateful in a way that makes her feel that she is above other people. She feels that others are in a category below her whether because of race, religion, ethnicity, financial status, etc. Britney was terrible her first year when she and Monet were together, but it was in a very immature, high school mean girl type of way.
Where as the type of meanness that Aaryn puts out is something that she will most likely not ever see as wrong, Britney was embarrassed and ashamed of her actions. She even tried to counsel Frank on not saying or doing things he would regret out of anger.
Happy Saturday Carolyn and BBDishers!!! I was so hoping Elissa wouldn't tell she got MVP.
Jane, you make some really good points about GM. While I am not a fan of her in the least, I do see a lot of insecurity in her and feel sad for her.
I didn't want Elissa to go until now. I like her as a person but to get MVP again when she's barely done anything is a little ridiculous. I'm almost wanting to get rid of her to make it fair. That really aggravates me.
I also think that Jeremy needs to go just so we don't have to listen to sexually frustrated puns anymore and can focus on the real game.
Good morning and happy Saturday. I'm going to forego detail talk about how much Jeremy bothers me and how much Aaryn annoys me. I will say I agree with comments made above about those two people.
Have I missed something because I'm really confused as to why game talk is taking place with Helen, McC, Amanda, and Andy all in the same room?
Is this another secret, secret alliance? If so, there is going to be a bunch more drama after next eviction.
For the bb15 movie i think Crispin Glover should play McCrae
Although it would be nice to see what other people would do with the MVP I am not concerned in the least if Elissa continues to get it. The MVP does not protect her. She can still be nominated and voted out at any time. If the majority of people vote to evict someone else that is because they think it is the best strategic move for their game.
BerdacheBear
When I saw the 'letter' it said something along the lines of "How Aaryn's family chooses to respond to claims of racism. Letter posted by Aaryn Gries's father." Not an exact quote but something like that. But I should know better than to believe everything on the internet. If I helped fuel the rumor and it was indeed not from her father then I apologize.
Gooood Morning, Carolyn!! Haven't gotten to "chat" this season yet. Thanks for all the great updating! So happy Elissa got MVP again! Now, hoping Jeremy doesn't win POV, he seriously needs to GO! What a jerk!
Amanda is just playing McCrae, right???
I don't think it's fair to say Elissa hasn't being playing. She is playing the way she needs to given the circumstances. Of course she gets MVP because of Rachel, but the game was set up that way, she would be a target and get shield. It's not less fair then anything else they ever do. This level playing field stuff is absurd. Nothing is ever level. It's not level that they let Aaryn/Jeremy cheat, it's not level that some know the game and some don't, it's never been level in past seasons. Hell, it's not level that they pick people based on looks and hair color. It's television.
About the Adderall, I'm not saying that either of those women does nor doesn't need it, I have no idea, but I think it's way over prescribed, and it's a fact that it's abused for energy and weight loss. Two out of 16 people in their 20s? The person I know well with ADHD is 56. When an adult has it, it's very obvious.
Anyone who truly believes the MVP was going to go to the "best player" is being unrealistic. The vote for the MVP is a popularity contest just like the baseball all stars. I don't feel bad for Elissa gettingit , how has she been able to play so far? Most have really not given her a chance and the ones who have, have really not been helpful. I am sick of the bullies and racists in this house, I know the feeds may be boring if they are gone, but really we don't know since everyone else has been over shadowed by them. If these people were smart they would think about what it would be like if Jeremy makes jury and gets evicted, having to spend weeks with him in the jury house?
My two cents worth. The unabashed bigotry of Aaryn and the misogyny of Jeremy, for example, have garnered some very angry comments. On the blogs, and chat rooms, it seems everyone is looking for CBS to “do something”, because we don’t allow such things. The ugly truth is that we do allow such things, without misogyny, racism and homophobia, there would be quite a gap in current popular culture. We allow prominent comedians to go on misogynistic rants, Emmy winning actors to go on homophobic rants on tweeter, and allow talking heads, that we agree with, to say about anything, all without any public outcry. Our outrage seems to be pretty darn selective. I would suggest reading Jun Song’s blog on the subject. http://jundishes.com/2013/07/05/crazy-mommy/
IMO, Big Brother is a social experiment that we get to observe. It includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. What is most interesting, to me, is how the houseguests, not CBS, handle the situation. Sit back and observe.
Paddy028
I dont think cbs should censor HGs beliefs. Sadly, aaryn jeremy and spencer seem to hold beliefs that are widely accepted in america
Good luck Elissa--hope you win POV and Jeremy is sent packing.
Hoping Elissa wins. And I don't want people censored whether I agree with them or not--at least we're seeing how they really behave, and it's a lesson NOT to be like them. Now Jeremy, though, is being vile and verbally abusive. I want him GONE. I want Aaryn to gradually lose her friends and have to grovel to all the people she insulted.
Good afternoon everyone. What a night! Like everyone else I am truly, totally sick of the 3 HOHs. I loved watching McCray talking to the camera. It was very charming. Hope he does it more.
I agree with Jane about GM. I seriously worry about how she will handle it when she finds out everything. Just for example see how upset she gets when Nick doesn't pay attention to her. She gets hysterical, crying, etc. and everyone knows Nick doesn't give a flip about her. She has really low self esteem and she will be crushed when she finds all this out.
I hope so badly that Jeremy loses the veto comp and Elissa wins. That will really embarrass him although he will cover it up with bullying and being aggressive toward her the rest of the week. Her life there will be hell.
To all the Aaryn haters, when she leaves this game and realizes that not only has she lost her job due to her own mouth, but that she sounded like a complete and total idiot to all of America, that will be when we all can sit back and realize that she has taken a big bite out of her foot.( As in Open mouth insert foot...) I for one can't wait...
I think the timing of the racist comments is particularly "bad," with Paula Deen and all. This is hardly the first time we have heard HGs saying bigoted things. Aaryn does take it to a special level, because clearly she was socialized that way. And I think there is an interesting and awful resurgence of open misogyny. People see it all over television and interpret it differently then the shows intend (like I said before: Mad Men).
In my opinion Aaryn is truly a bigot and Jeremy is truly a misogynist, but he is also a narcissist, so it's difficult to distinguish which is his sense of superiority over women and over the world in general.
These people took extensive personality tests before getting cast. BB knows full well what they were getting themselves into. This is what they do, and why we watch. We watch to hate them as much as love them. The reason they have the feeds is so America sees one show and we see another. That's what we pay for. It's not lost on anyone, including the other HGs.
I'd love to Helen or Elissa win POV, and remember everyone they have been have nots for two weeks! That would be great, please just show them, Aaryn & Jeremy. Of course they would say its rigged for her.
Grendon -- I wasn't even sure this particular letter is the one you referring to, because you weren't the one who posted it as "the letter" you saw. The whole point of my post, was really just a way to give me the opportunity to "poke a little fun at Jeremy" by saying that he posted it.
Seems to me that the only reason aaryn would be that defensive about adderall is if she's taking it for reasons other than legitimate ADD. My son is ADD and its very obvious as it is with my nephew. U could pick them out from a crowd of non ADD kids. Being that AAryn is a "model" and completely obsessed with image I would bet she takes it for weight loss and/or weight control. Add to it if I'm not mistaken, that she drinks alcohol while she's on it (assuming she takes it everyday like its usually prescribed then that's everytimd she drinks) then she's abusing it at worst, not taking it as prescribed at best, its no wonder she's defensive. I'm sure all of you are familiar with Lindsay lohans problems and the connection to.adderall.
Which brings me to something else. CBS has put racists bigot and hkmophobes in there. Maybe they didn't know but now they do, along with a bulimic who is very much in her disease and now we know they're allowing another cast member to mix alcohol with a prescription narcotic, a highly addictive highly controlled schedule II narcotic at that. I'm all for drama but surely drama can be created without insulting large populations of people or allowing cast members to put themselves in danger in national television. Whatever happened to social responsibility? They should be on intervention not big brother. How many girls watch the show on TV and look up to these girls because they're "pretty" and wanna be like them? It makes me sick that my 12 yr old daughter wants to be like aaryn. (She doesn't know.
I like that elissa got MVP and it sounds like she's coming into her own this week, but getting it repeatedly means its only a matter of time until they realize its better to get MVP then rely on her to work with them. True its not going to the "enemy" but I'm nearly 100% sure that if she gets it again she better start playing like Rachel if she wants to stay. Biggest problem is, she has no Brendon and even wen Rachel didn't rely on him winning he was her motivation to win
I'm not into big brother this early. Ever. I always wait til a few are weeded out but the intrigue this year has me hooked from the word go. In fact I'm getting the live feeds for the first time ever. Omg I bet I lose a ton of sleep. Lol
Stacey
Idk she sure did turn green with envy over Jesse (I think that who it was. Sorry if I'm wrong)
Stacey
True about pop culture but most of those times u know what ur getting when you watch. This isn't, or isn't touted as anyway, a show based on "let's throw a bunch of bigots in with the people they hate on and see wat happens.".idk if I'm making my point, or frankly any sense at all. Hopefully u get what I mean. If it was advertised that way I don't think ppl would be so upset. I think its even worse that someone like poor upwards in there with racists or that hrlen was gold "go cook some rice." For all intents and purposes they are "innocents" and that why its so much more appalling and why CBS should "do something."
From a social expirement point of view I think its both interesting and disgusting that such young people think this way. When my father, born in.1928, made racist comments that was different. I'm 39 and I thought society had progressed beyond such nonsense. And then I think of Paula Deen. She's from a different generation so it didn't shock and appall me as much, although she was clearly wrong, shld know better and there's no excusing it. She's lost practically everything even after expressing remorse yet CBS is passively consenting to this behavior by not saying a word about it and the impact for them has prollg been more live feed subscribers. What does that say about us as a society?
Wow, didn't mean to rant. That was not intended for one person imparticular. I just cannot believe ppl born so recently have those thoughts. I really can't.

Jeremy Has Won POV
my mom's full blooded cherokee my dad samoan. my mom said Jeremy is a disgrace to her people & she wishes he would stop admitting he's cherokee. all native american's are nothing like him.
I really agree with this. I think that anything racist and whatever else the HGs choose to say only makes themselves look bad. I personally don't put any responsibility on CBS for it. Its a human experiment, if there wasn't stuff like this it wouldn't be realistic, as unfortunate as that is. Whether or not they will be "allowed" to win is another.story.
apparently Jeremy never read the poem Being Indian is By J.C. High Eagle
