Big Brother 16: The Overnight Report ~ Devin Takes Himself OUT of the Alliance

Good morning, BB Lovers!  Happy Wednesday! I'm so happy to be back!☺  I love this crew of HGs!  Let's dive right in and see what they get into in the wee hours on the live feeds...

Caleb: The deal was, whatever the crew wants is what we do.
Derrick: Zach f'd up.  He f'd up real bad.  But if Devin didn't put him on the block, it never would've happened. 



Caleb: If I stay, I will leave you, I will leave Amber alone, and I wont go after Devin.  Devin's a number for us. If we kick him out, that's one less number for us. We said from day one, we will not put any of us up.
Derrick: And he's the 1st one to violate it.  Next week, it could be 2 people from outside the alliance makin' the call.
Caleb: That's not gonna happen. I'm in it.  Devin's the only one not playin.

Amber: It's not just hurting his game, but it's hurting Caleb's game more than anyone else.  The whole house.. even if he didn't, he has the numbers.
Cody: What it comes down to, none of us are gonna be Zach's target.  Devin is.  Even if he's back in the alliance.
Amber: Devin just likes to be in contol.
Cody: He was grilling me.. and I was like, there's 7 other people oin the room.  Why am I getting stared at.  Anyway, I think Zach'll be good.
Amber: Well, I think Caleb's voting for Zach to stay too.  He told him he was, in front of me.  I'm trying to play as honest as I can. 

Cody: After this week, if one of our alliance is on the block, and none of us are HoH, we have 7 people.  Nobody's leaving.  Also, Zach trusts you. My thing with him is, if you're gonna blow up, come talk to me first.  I don't think this would've even been an issue if Zach had kept his mouth shut.  Our thing was, none of us go on the block.  Devin broke that.  And then we bring in Hayden to keep the numbers?  It's like saying, that's ok what you did, Devin..  I was brought into the alliance late.
Amber:  Me too.  There's more people I want to be loyal to.. Why am I gonna help someone who isn't being loyal to me.. when I have like, Jocasta, who is a darling girl, and Brittany, who is a mother of 3.. What Devin did with the whole HoH situation..

12:17am Pao comes in..Jocasta too..

Pao: It's so awkward. I don't like Devin at all.
Amber: We were just talking about that..
Pao: I was just talking to him, apologizing for dragging his daughter into my speech.
Cody: The second you were in any kind of cahoots with him, it was bad for your game. He's a ticking time bomb.
Pao: No offense, but your boy Zach is a timebomb too. I mean, I know you're his best friend.. I know you're not gonna vote for me to stay.
Cody: I'm not gonna lie to you.  He is one of my best friends.
Pao: I don't know what's gonna happen.
Cody: I don't think anyone knows what's gonna happen.  I wish when he told you to throw you, you said, "Screw you."
Pao: But he would've gone after Amber.
Cody: He threatens everybody.
Pao: I just feel like I'm in a situation where i have nothing to do with anything.. just stuck.

Cody: I'm slowly starting to love this room.
Amber: Have you never slept in her? It's so dark..

Amber: What's your name mean?
Jocasta: Jocasta was a queen.  She had a son named Oedipus, he was a king.  He only became a king by taking out his father.  She married her son, but she didn't know it was her son.
Cody: I know this story.
Jocasta: It's called the Oedipus Complex.
Cody: Oedipus

Amber: We were just talkin' so nice about you.
Jocasta: thank you!!
Amber: You are.  You're always just there for everybody.  You're so nice.
Jocasta: That's my duty.

Christine: Everybody poops themselves.  A new book by Frankie.
Frankie: This has to be the craziest season of Big Brother.
Christine: I'm just waiting for one this week.  I think it has to do with America.
Victoria: I'm obviously the choice.
Derrick: I'm sure it would never be me.
Frankie: You're likeable.  There's a population in Rhode Island.. like 30 people?  I'm sure you've got all the Rhode Island votes.

Talk turns to Joey..

Frankie:  I do miss Joey.  When she watches that Veto Meeting, she's gonna be like, "See?! Look what I started."

Hayden: She doesn't talk game to anyone. There's a lot of people in this house I don't trust.  Of course, you two.
Nicole: Sure Hayden.
Zach: America's gonna love you.  THere's gonna be so many guys just waiting for you with a ring.
Nicole: I think you guys have the wrong idea.
Hayden: Everyone in America loves you, Nicole.
Zach: No, Nicole, you're gonna end up winning, which pisses me off.   Before I came into this house, I was excited about having haters.  Now I'm like, woah.. I'm gonna have like 9 million haters.  There are times in my DRs when I'm like, people are gonna think I'm the most stuck up, conceited person in the world.  But it's for the show.  But seriously, you're gonna have a line of bachelors..

Derrick joins them.

Derrick: They're going to tell Devin right now.  It's in stone.

Caleb's going over what to say to Devin with Frankie..

Caleb: You went against your word and put someone in the alliance up.  Therefore, the alliance is keeping him.  There's nothing you can do.  You can blow up if you want.  It's not gonna change a thing.  He's staying.  Zach blew up, he feels terrible about it, he wishes he could come to you and apologize, but not for the game play.. He's loyal to me, he's always been loyal to me.  Zach is stayin'.  He apologized to Caleb.  He would like to apologize to you.  At the end of the day, there's nothin' you can do to change it.  If you wanna mend the fence, that's fine.  We're all getting to the jury. And Devin, if you win HoH again in the next 3 weeks, and you put Zach up, we're done.  The alliance will go against you.  You didn't ask any of us if that was a good choice.  You made a promise to us at the beginning.  When it comes to jury, he's comin' after you.  Before that, if he wins, he's not comin' after you.  He promised me. "Caleb, if you guys keep me, I wont go after him til jury."  You can blame it on me.  We flipped it.  We're keepin' Zach.  We're gettin' Pao out.  She's of no use to us.  And Zach didn't blow up the bomb squad.  The only person he told was Hayden.  So now we have 9 people in our alliance. Let's be loyal and trustworthy to everyone in our alliance.  3 more weeks.  Don't blow up about it.  We're gonna keep Zach..

Frankie: How many people are not in our alliance now?  Nicole, Victoria, Jacosta, Pao and
Caleb: Victoria will go home next.

Frankie goes to HoH and says none of what Caleb directed..

Frankie: Do I need to say it?
Devin: What is the gist of it?
Frankie: They formed a truce.  Zach is staying.  He will not go after you til jury.
Devin: Why would Caleb do that?
Frankie: Caleb did it because Zach had the votes to stay.
Devin: How so?
Frankie: Just like I suspected.. Cody and Hayden will not vote him out.
Devin: But I spoke to Hayden..
Frankie: I think it was gonna be Nicole, Hayen, COdy.. Victoria, because she's afraid to go against the majority of the house.. Zach's been workin' his dick off.  Who else?  Brittany, obviously. Donny or Christine.  Definitely not Jacosta.  Basically, the only people who weren't on lock were me, Caleb and Jocasta.
Devin: F'ing Caleb folded.
Frankie: You put a huge target on the block, and they failed.

Devin: (completely calm) I'm outa the squad, bro.  I'm playin' solo. As far as I'm concerned, anybody can go up on the block. Sorry.  You're gonna have to stop the father's love for his daughter, and it's gonna be really tough.  I'm gonna do everything for my little girls ot make sure everyone's gone.  That's cool.  I'm outa the squad.  Zach will throw me up if he wins HoH.  Caleb's ridiculous if he thinnks any different. I came to play hard.  I'm gonna play harder now.

Frankie: Ok.. I was so happy. I thought everything was going exactly the way it was supposed to go.  Well, I still love you.
Devin: As do I you.
Frankie: If I win HoH, you're not going up.  You know that.
Devin: mm. This game just got real fun, buddy.
Frankie: Well, if you do need a friend...
Devin: I'm good to go, bro.  Good to go.  I'm gonna pick every person in this house off, one by one by one by one.
Frankie: Well, leave me til last, ok?

Frankie leaves HoH and goes to the Fire Room to see what Jocasta and Amber are up to.  He joins the praying.

Hayden: Something I am hiding.. I played college hockey..
Nicole: So you're a pretty good athlete..
Hayden: Yeah.. I got recruited to play there. Hockey has been my thing my whole life.  Also.. I'm really big into running and I run marathons.
Nicole: Oh my gosh.. That's awesome.  You just love to run.
Hayden: And I got pretty much straight As in college.. Everything about my living is true.. 

Nicole: I'm happy that you're here.
Hayden: I don't know what I'd do in here without you.  I'd have no one to flirt with.
Nicole: You'd find somebody.
Hayden: No.. There's no one else.
Nicole: I felt comfortable with you right away..
Hayden: I was the only alternate who made it.
Nicole: I know. If you weren't here, I'd be so miserable.

Hayden: Can we make out?
Nicole: No! Hayden, that doesn't work.
Hayden: What do I have to do?

Nicole: I'm the most normal.. well, me and Christine. .unless she's lying.
Hayden: She's so smart.. Derrick too.  Like, I always ask Derrick for advice about what to do.. I know what to do. I just want to play dumb.  I think you're the cutest girl I've ever met.
Nicole: Oh shut up, Hayden.
Hayden: You are the definition of cute.  We're like Hansel and Gretl.  We're like Derek Jeter and Madonna.
Nicole: Who are these people?
Hayden: You literally live under a rock.
Nicole: I know I'm sheltered.

Talk turns to parents.. Hayden's dad has an important job in Boston radio.. and

Hayden: My mom is like the nicest person ever.  She's like you!
Nicole: Thanks, Hayden.
Hayden: So what are we gonna do when we get outa here?  We're gonna be like a famous couple.

Zach: ..votes to keep me, that I wont go after Devin for 2 weeks.  Caleb doesn't wanna be singled out, so.. He didn't want votes to come back 9 to 3, and him and Amber to be singled out.
Victoria: But Amber's good friend is Pao.  So he said ok?
Zach: Yes
Victoria: This is crazy.
Zach: So.. I told him I wont go after Devin for 2 weeks, but.. the first chance I get.  I'm not going after anyone but Devin.
Victoria: I'm just scared when Devin finds out.
Zach: He knows now.
Victoria: What if he comes and kills everyone?  What if he comes and chokes someone in the middle of the night?
Zach: Then he goes home.
Victoria: And someone dies.

 Zach: We're gonna go far in this game.  I promise.

Devin outs the Bomb Squad alliance, naming names to Brittany.

Devin: There was an alliance... since day 2 or 3..  THe only 3 people I trust in this house, DOnny, Jacosta and Frankie, and I'm trying to build that with you.
Brittany: I don't mean to laugh right now.. I'm not trying to be rude.. It's all just crazy.
Devin: It's ok.. I'm just letting you know what's going on.  I put Zach up, because I thought he was doing sidework and not being loyal to the alliance. So now, Zach has worked something where he's telling everyone he has the house votes.  He convinced Caleb he has the votes.  Caleb, my opinion, doesn't know how to play the game...

Devin continues and tells her what he just told Frankie, that he's going solo and will pick them all off one by one.

Devin: Donny knows and you know.  I have to tell Jacosta.

Cody: If it doesn't work this week, then the week after.
Frankie: He was very calm.. It was actually even scarier that way.
Derrick: We gotta get to jury.  THen we can take the leash off.
Frankie: If it all works out that he can be backdoored, then it works out.
Derrick: When one of us wins PoV, then we have the discussion.
Zach: And I keep my mouth shut.  Always.
Cody: Always.

Zach: Know what makes me extremely happy? I made him put me up on the block and made all this happen.
Derrick: It worked out well..

Frankie: It was a very calm conversation.. I said exactly what you told me to say, basically.  And he was like, Wowwww... I'm on my own, and I will pick you off one by one.
Caleb: That's what he said?  He's not capable.
Frankie: We have to keep him off the block, don't let him compete, and if someone wins PoV, we can backdoor him.
Caleb: He's such a hardhead.  He doesn't run the alliance, and he's tried to make everyone's decisions for them.  At the end of the day, we're an alliance, we do things together.  He broke a promise to all of us.
Frankie: He's on his own.  He's cut himself off.  There's no point in talking about it any more.

Caleb: He will never get a vote against us in this house.

Caleb: For me, keeping Zach is just the smartest move.  Otherwise, any time one of us stronger players goes up against Pao, we're out.

Frankie: Caleb is nervous about nothing. Here's the deal.. It's very out in the open that our alliance was splintering.  This event has unified us and brought us back strong.  We are 8 strong, with Hayden, to the jury.  Everything is reset now.  We have to been good to one another.  The 8 of us.  Nothing brings a gruo together like a common enemy.
Derrick: Let's just get the people who aren't in the group out.
Frankie: But if there's an opportunity, take it.

Frankie: I feel like we're closer than ever.  Good job.

Zach: Good job to you too.

Cody: So he's gonna be f'in pissed all week.
Frankie: Pissed is an understatement.
Derrick: And he's gonna be comin' after all of us..

Frankie: I gotta say, I'm so happy she's going home.  She's the worst. And this is better now..
Cody: He (Devin) was a huge liability.
Frankie: And I was hating my game.. We've had a lot of conversations, and I can see the humanity in him, but I can see the insanity of his game. He's not a crazy person, but..
Cody: He's a crazy player.
Frankie: And the conversation upstairs liberated me... This is a huge relief.  I'm thrilled.
Cody: I just don't know if Caleb's ok.
Frankie: He's ok.  He's a man in every sense of the word.  He's sees steak, he eats it.  He sees girl, he pursues it.  He sees enemy, he kills it.   He's all or nothing.  He doesn't doubt.  If it's some, it's all.

Zach: Voters.. Do not continue to let this tyrant manipulate, threaten, strong arm and bully all of us any longer.  It is in the best interest of the house to keep me safe solely because none of you are my target.  My target is that man right there.  If you vote to keep me safe, I will do everything in my power to make sure that man is out of the house.  And Pao, I am much more capable physically and mentally of carrying out that objective.

Hayden: That's hilarious.  He realizes that he can't compete next week, right? hehe.
Cody: Even with Caleb not on board, we were golden.  Victoria hopped on board.  Brittany hopped on board.
Hayden: It's still the same thing.. It's still the mentality of getting the weak players out, with the exception of Devin.  Obviously we need to go hard in the competitions.. Worse case scenario, Caleb wins..
Cody: If Caleb wins, he's not gonna backdoor Devin.
Hayden: And then the next week, Devin can compete. And he's gonna put up you, me, Frankie, etc..
Cody: Caleb can't win this week.  We need to win it to get Devin out.
Hayden: You know how Donny brought up getting Caleb out?  I would feel terrible.. but gamewise, it would make so much sense.
Cody: This early, it wouldn't.  Because if Devin and Caleb are gone, we're the next strongest..
Hayden: You're right.
Cody: This early, getting rid of Devin is making the house happy.  Getting rid of Caleb wouldn't work in our favor.

Devin: I'm f'd. I'm done.  I am not in the alliance anymore.  You are liked in this house.  For your 3 kids, you need to learn to do it.
Brittany: Can you just at least talk to Jacosta? I know she plays this game solo.
Devin: You have the same thing my mom has.  You're a fighter.  When I'm long and gone, you gotta fake it.  Smile more.  Take down the guard a bit.  You can make these people putty in your hands. There's no integrity in this game.
Brittany: So basically I just have to make sure the people who don't know about it are voting the same way I am.
Devin: When you get a chance to sit in HoH, you take that trigger and pull it.  You don't hesitate.

Caleb: That's just you bein' selfish and wanting to be the person who runs the house.  Me and my 8, I run everything by them.  When you make a decision without running it by your alliance.. He makes decisions and expects everyone to follow through.
Derrick: People gotta feel like they're included on the decision, or they're gonna buck.  I think we made the right move.
Caleb: Oh yeah.
 Derrick: You win HoH this week and it's back to choppin' heads.

Pao: You know the way Zach treats women in here.  Why would people want to keep a person like that in here?  Zach is a bully.
Nicole: I like havin' you here.  You've been super good to me.  I don't have an answer for you right now, because I wanna talk to Christine..
Pao: Zach's super paranoid. I don't know if he has a deal with Devin.  I don't know what Zach's gonna do..
Nicole: I wanna keep you, but I don't wanna be the only one, and become the target next week.
Pao: How do you think it's going?
Nicole: I think it's gonna be close. 
Pao: Zach's going around telling people he's got 9 votes.

Derrick: If he blows it up, Amber and Christine are in the worst shape.
Caleb: What's helpful is Jocasta and Amber are really close.  We gave him an option.
Derrick: He told us to go f*ck ourself.
Caleb: OK.. You  (Devin) can be gone.  We got Hayden. I imagine we're all gonna be in the DR pretty soon, so stay up.
Derrick: I just wish Frankie would go up there.. find out what they're talkin' about.

Caleb and Cody head inside to see where all the women are, so they can deduce if Devin's trying to build a chick army. Nope, just Brittany.  They return to the backyard.  Mantalk resumes

Frankie: So Caleb and Devin have this huge fight, and I'm in the middle, because both of them talk to me.. and now tonight, Caleb and Zach fixed their problem, and I go to tell Devin, and he f'in blows up like a lunatic at me..
Victoria: Poor Frankie.
Frankie: He's like a lunatic.  He's on a warpath against everyone..
Victoria: Everyone?
Frankie: He's so so so pissed.  He's like, I wanted him gone, and if he's not going, I'm coming after everyone..
Victoria: We're all gonna get bullied tomorrow.. and we get locked up in the HoH room. What if he has a knife?

Frankie: We have to be really strong and fight for the right of the people.
Victoria: Do you think if Caleb wins HoH he'll backdoor Devin?
Frankie: I do.  Devin cannot win PoV.  Of course, this is Big Brother.  It's gonna be like a bench pressing competition.  Assholes.

Christine/Victoria/Me: hehehehehe!

Frankie: He's so crazy, he might just self evict.
Victoria: Let him self evict.  But today, he was talking about the money, and if he ready through the entire rule book, he knows we don't get any if we self-evict.
Christine: Exactly.
Victoria: He was saying today, "Guys, every time the clock turns 12, 125 dollars.  Just think of it that way."  I cannot stand him.

Devin's filling Jocasta in on the alliance, as he did with Brittany..

Devin: Get a little work out in time to time, but stay out of that sun.  It's gonna drain your energy.  That's why you don't see me out in the sun.
Jocasta: We can do this.
Brittany: I know.  I know.  We shouldn't stay up here too long though..
Jocasta: That's why they always wanna know, "what you an Devin be talkin' about?"  Nothin.. We just talk.
Do you think Christine told Nicole she's in an alliance?

Devin: No, no way.  Christine's one of the smartest people in the house.  When Nicole got put up, Christine was like, "If she has to go, she has to go.  I'm cutthroat.  I'm heartless."  That's one of her closest friends in the house, and those are her exact words.  If you guys have any questions, ask.  My time here is limited.  I'll see you at the finale.  Hopefully I'll have my daughter in my arms.  I'll be rooting you on every day.  My days are numbered.  I'm cool with it.  I'm exhausted from this game.

Caleb: Exactly.  It was gonna happen tonight or Thursday.  Either one.  It didn't matter.
Cody: I don't see how it's similar at all.. Frankie went up there to let him know, and he blew up like this.
Caleb: From here on out, to make a decision, we all need to know about it. Simple as that.

Hayden: From here on in, if we ever want to get Amber out, we have a lot of stuff to turn Caleb against her. She talks a lot of shit about him.  She's not trustworthy.
Zach: She's the biggest liar in this house.
Hayden: If we ever wanted to get her out, which I think would be a good move right after Devin, I think there's a lot we could tell Caleb so he'd have our backs, right?
Frankie: I like you.  You're talking game.  It's so interesting.  Hello.
**Hayden's brain is brand new to Frankie.

Hayden: I'm just saying.. that's a lot of information, and that's the biggest thing holding everyone back from getting Amber out of the house: Caleb.
Derrick: Absolutely.
Hayden: But, if we just give him that information..
Derrick: And let him run with it.

Zach: If we drop Amber..
Frankie: Can we just get through this week.. and the next week?
Hayden: This is me not standing up for Nicole, but I'd rather see her here than Amber, because Amber is a liar and Nicole is a good person.
Frankie: It could be  Nicole winning HoH next week.. It could be Brittany and Victoria winning HoH next week.
Zach: Yeah, right..
Hayden: There's a lot of comps the big guy doesn't win in BB.

Derrick, Zach, Hayden

Derrick: So he threw me under the bus you under the bus.. Yup Yup.. The only one he didn't throw under the bus was you (Zach), cuz you're already out as far as he's concerned.
Zach: We're gonna have to do some damage control. 
Derrick: I don't want Caleb to know how tight we are.  He wont tell me things if he knows..

They're trying to figure out how much damage control they'll have to do, based on Devin's talks with the women tonight.. as they watch Jocasta come down the stairs.

3:18am Hayden says goodnight to Derrick and heads inside.

Walking outside, Jocasta is joined by Pao.  Pao asks her what she and Devin talked about upstairs. Jocasta deflects, telling her they talked about life and their children.
