Playing for the Battle of the Block:

- Nicole and her nominees, Amber and Donny
As a reminder, going into this week, every nominee is a pawn. Devin is the target, as everyone in the house would like to show him the back door.. They're all just holding their breath that he doesn't get picked to play for PoV. And if Devin does get picked to play for PoV, Caleb has promised to bring out his Beast Mode Cowboy and win it anyway.

Derrick: (to Nicole) You did a good job. I want you to feel like you can come up here any time.
**Sounds like everything went according to plan.
Caleb: You have to wear that for a whole week?
Nicole: Whole Week. Live Show and Everything.
Nicole leaves.
Derrick: OK.. We saved Amber. She's safe this week. We're the targets now. Be careful. Even around Frankie. They had plans to target you all along. I saw the hug Amber gave you at the end. That wasn't a nice game hug.. People were lookin'. If people think you threw that comp, they're gonna say we can't be trusted.
OK, Dishers, Time to spark up your feeds! I've been up with them since 11pm BBT, and I'm cooked. I'll see you back here with the Overnight Report at 0'dark thirty..

OK enough of the two HOH. I don't think it's working the way they thought and sure isn't all that entertaining.
I think I'd like to see Devin get picked for, and win, POV just to see if they'll vote out Caleb. Though Devin may be stupid enough to save Caleb if he did.

Until the POV is played and used to backdoor Devin or not used I won't be happy. Nicole could be BDed and she's in a costume, not good. Glad Donny is safe.

I think the two HOH twist is meant to encourage folks to nominate weak players in the hopes that the stronger ones will win BOB and leave the weakest ones in the hot seats. Otherwise a floater like Pao might have been around a lot longer as "someone we can get rid of any time." I hope it goes for a few more weeks at least - until it won't work anymore. I'd love to see strong players playing the end game!
Ceemurph - as HOH, you want your nominees to LOSE and stay on the block. If they win they go off the block and are safe, but the HOH who nominated them is out and NOT safe. It encourages the HOH to nominate weak folks, who will lose, rather than strong ones who will win and depose them. Interesting how it affects strategy when the two HOHs work together, though, esp. when they keep finding people who are actually willing to throw a comp (Ahem, Caleb).
Hi all – I've lurked for years here but rarely do I post but this BoB twist has my pannies in a wad. I do like that it has changed up the game some but it was poorly planned. It seems that two alternatives would’ve made for less “manipulation of the theory” and throwing of challenges – which, as a viewer, I abhor.
1) If the nominees win their nominating HOH should also win – not lose – this would allow them to be safe but they’d actually have to work for it AND the LOSER HOH would be back in the pool of renom’s. Yes, the winning HOH would have to deal with having two nominees that they didn’t put up – makes for a MUCH more interesting POV challenge and renom possibilities. HOH’s would be putting up STRONG players and the weak ones just might get back doored.
Or 2) have the BoB AFTER the POV. Then less manipulation of outcome would also occur b/c TRUE targets might be put up. If a nominee is pulled off the opposing HOH could do the renom – or better yet, AMERICA could via twitter/online voting. But who renoms is irrelevant – the Winning BoB nominees unhouse the HOH that nominated them but the HOH could mean SOMETHING – they could enjoy a couple nights in the HOH room and still be free from re-nomination since POV went first.
I just hate that it’s being used by a mass group like it is. UGH. Love this set of houseguests though. I think Frankie played both sides too hard too soon and it was within a larger alliance instead of just two separate factions of the house – not sure if it’s going to pan out for him. Derrick had to go into “save the cover” phase way too quickly and has spent too much effort saving the alliance remnants since Zach’s blowout to not have it backfire soon. I actually LOVED Zach’s blowup and loved the edit CBS gave it; he’s the ONLY one that’s truly stood up to Devin in any capacity. I was sad that Nicole didn’t take more control of her own nominations but I’m glad she did throw up a kink in the plan – it would’ve been better if she’d just put up Amber and Caleb together and let them WIN for her. Thanks for all your reports – I’d never keep up on my own.
These HGs SMH Zach and Cody agree that Donny should go after Devin and Christine and Victoria talk about he wears that Harvard sweatshirt all the time and he wasn't in the Army but he wears camouflage. They are all convinced that he is a super genius.
Now Donny is an actor and ex CIA because according to Frankie his poems are acting exercises and CIA agents are actors.

This season will be one for the BB history books for sure! Like me, I've seen so many folks that have been BBDishers for years, but just lurking, are now commenting! Loving it!
I have been the same most seasons. Maybe a few comments over the years, but this season's got me all riled up, only two weeks in.
