Loved it! Just about every minute of it! From the surprise HoH Vote before they walked in the door, to the Food/Car Comp, and all the HGs in between.
Congrats to BBQ for getting all the spoilers right. Kudos to Spammy and her amazing source, Corner Office.
OK.. on to the Renny Show.. or the Lucy Show... Did anyone else get that memory rushing into their head when Renny had the wrap on her head in the living room?
Social Experiment Part 1: Like in many new group dynamics, people tend to find one person to single out as the other, and bond over their dislike for that person. Bonding factor, thy name is Renny. Gotta say, I wasn't at all impressed with the boys when they completely ignored her in the living room...
Did she get a fair edit? We'll never know. We don't have feeds for those days. That dilemma ends tonight! :)
But now she's nominated. Alongside Jessie.
My question is, will the HGs get rid of the undeniable longterm physical threat or the older woman who's already proven she's not going to be a challenge in comps? OK, she was annoying, but did they give her a fair chance? What would you do? Who would you rather leav ein the running for 500k?

I don't know how Miss OCD is going to do it. I'm not as bad as her, although all my books, DVDs, spices are in abc order, and yes the fridge is organized. Linens and clothes must be folded in uniforn piles and a crooked picture drives me nuts.I get stressed when I stay with family or they stay with me.But I can be a slob about some things too. My old boss was as bad as MONK,had to get a hair cut every day and had a separate car to drive his dog around and even I used to torture him. It was great fun and I can imagine them having fun with her.
LOve Jerry but now def not crazy about Renny.
So that is how half the house got on slop so soon.

Renny was terrible at the comp. They will probably get rid of her quick just so they wont have to have her on their team.
Renny and Dan are bothering me. I do agree with Libra on her interview if it was her husband going on this show with 2 5 month olds at home, nothing would be said.

Jerry is such a good person. Nothing against him, but I think his age is going to carry him farther in the game than the younger crowd

anon at 5:36pm...they've been in the house for a few days already. they have to be in there for a couple of days before the first episode so that there is actually something to show! live feeds don't start until after the tv premire, even though they've been in the house for a few days.
prior to selection for BB, i believe that nobody knew another person.

My husband is complaining already. I've corrupted another daughter to watch BB with me. But he also heard Renny. And even though we are Louisianians, Renny has got to go.
Maybe it's too soon to have such harsh judgments, but I really did not want Brian to align with Dan. I already can't stand Dan and like(d) Brian from the interviews and first half hour.

I don't like weasles and Brian is a weasle. I figured that none of the girls were going to get nominated because they really didn't show the girls interacting with each other.

Good going Jerry. I think he picked the right two for eviction. Boy, there will be some fighting going on between those two right up until Wed night.
Love Jerry. Hope he shows his strengths and makes himself invaluable so that he can stay until the end.
That's so smart of those young dudes to get together to form an alliance like that. That move *never* fails!
Now, you'd think that someone would do a Danielle/Jason (BB3) thing and create a secret alliance no one would ever expect and then stay apart.
You simply have to get rid of the physical threat. Annoyances will rid themselves in the long term. Jesse needs to go for strategy.

I am trying to resist seeing any veto spoilers, but don't know if I can help myself!
I'd like to see Jessie out this week. Although Renny may get annoying, it's early and I want to see if she amuses me. Jessie seems kind of boring, entitled and babyish and I don't like his consistent ageist comments. "What is she 120?" Is that all he's got? :P
Thus far I am not impressed with Renny. Her voice grates my ears.
Also I feel sorry for Jessie. Somewhere he lost his neck and his head shrunk. I bet he does need lots of sleep.

I think if Jesse does not win the Veto, he will be the first to leave. Yes Renny may be annoying, but Jesse is much more of a physical threat. Then again it is sometimes good to keep the biggest threat in the house so there is always a target for the house to go after.
If it was me in there I would vote to evict Jesse.

I think you've got to keep Renny no matter who she is up against. She is a great scapegoat. It good to have a live wire like that to project all the crap on.
Might I say Jerry's age/wisdom really shows in subtle ways. When he used the excuse of conflict and "let the house" work it out, that kind of nuance comes with experience. He totally took the heat off himself and gave the "power" to others (or so it would seem). I will really enjoy watching him play.

Hey ... we're missing a few "regulars" to the site.
This looks like it's going to be a good season. Some very aggressive game players early on, but not overt to bring attention on them (Dan, Ollie, Brian).
Jerry seems real likeable, but the young bucks will run him over later in this game.
Jessie got a dumb edit, but really it was Renny's fault for the conflict. Jessie wasn't trying to make it a big deal, in fact just tried to have a quiet private talk with her. She blew it up into a big drama. That incident will probably get him evicted, because people will see her as a weak player, easily tossed out later.
We just have to remember that it's early, and none of us have seen one minute of the feeds. We're all "TV only" people at this point.
PS - Was that the HAWTEST we've seen the Chenbot look in years?

Yayyyyyyy I am so excited. I loved the show. I see alot of talk about Renny, I think she is one of those people that you either love or hate. No in-between. Maybe they are giving her a bad rap. Hopefully she will stay a little longer so we can get to know her alittle bit.
I hope Renny stays a while. The house needs someone annoying for the other people to bond over in the beginning. Jessie is very full of himself. Unless he won the veto, I think he's gone. Oddly enough I'm not warming up to Jerry yet. I know we're all supposed to love him. Guess it's just gonna take me a while.

I like Renny, yes, she is loud. She needs to stay, and [renny is right] Jessie is a baby. I mean if she was being loud, why couldn't he man up and ask her to clam down? She is nice, and that's a plus. And them boys looking at her, as if she was a freak [they need to stick it]. And for the comments about Libra and her children: She isn't a bad mom, and I bet if you were selected you would go up there too. Her husband has it under-control.

Not that impressed with the cast so far...Renny may be annoying but at least she is entertaining. There better be a twist on Wednesday, otherwise this season is going to be Blah. My impression of tonight's episode was, "so what" the most exciting thing was a fight between a 22 yr old and a 53 yr old. They better make it more exciting if they expect me to watch it and others to stay tuned in. I don't know why they can't think of a twist that would be exciting and nothing we have ever seen before, voting for the HOH before they go in the house is a big "so what" to me. It is the tenth season they need to do something so shocking and surprising (something different) it will get people that never watch it to tune in...just my thoughts...maybe I went into the premier with too many expectations...
...and I was so disappointed that Stephen was not going to reveal who he really is. I was so looking forward to the gay cowboy!

YAY! Just wanted to share that I'm so glad to be back this season with you guys, especially Carolyn, you rock! And I'm more excited than ever cause I have a friend that made it on the show! ANGIE!!!! So of course I'm biased cause I want her to win, but other than her, I like Memphis, Keesha, Brian and Steven from first impressions. I like Jerry too, but I doubt he will win, but they will probably keep him around till the end since he won't be a physical threat. I was hoping Renny would be different cause she seemed so cool in all the promos and videos we saw before and she is just so annoying! Anyways, I look forward to spending another season addicted to not only the show, the feeds, BBAD, but especially this site!

Hee hee! I think the best part was when they were doing the nominations, and Steven was leaning over the table. His shirt said "PURE GRAVY," but all you could read was "PURE GAY" because of how his shirt creased when he was leaning. Heck, I'm STILL giggling! :D

~ Jessie is adorable. Renny seriously aggravates me. She is from New Orleans, but talks and acts like a "Hon" from Baltimore (re: Hairspray) and I should know! Can't stand her. She has to go. The Portugese girl drives me crazy too.

I love Renny! Being from New Orleans I totally get her! I hope she doesn't get to be the first off this season, there are so many other canidates like the blonde with letting people feel her up and then gramps for feeling her up. GO RENNY !!
