Happy Big Brother Sunday! Is it too soon to talk about the Big Brother 10 Finale Date?
Good morning, Big Brother Lovers! Happy Big Brother 10 Sunday! I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it...
In addition to the already amazing news that TheRealDeal has joined us for the Big Brother 10 season, and ReporterX is rockin the youtubes, and DivaDawn & Kimbaliscious and their team are gearing up for all the gorgeous live feed screencaps, I have some really nice surprises in store for you this season. I'll be revealing the first one tonight!
The pre-show party starts here tonight around 6:30. BYOB. :)
In just a few hours, the premiere of BB10 comes on on the east coast, and then.. drum roll, please... the live feeds! What time they actually start is anyone's guess - but if we're going by last season, it'll be just after the west coast views the premiere.
The early bird special is toast as of early this morning. I tried to tell ya!! And tell ya and tell ya!
No matter... the deal is still great! 2 weeks free & 14.99/month. You know the drill. :)
Seems we're going to be having a slightly shortened season this summer, to make way for the fall premiere week... I did a bit of research last night, and while other sites are reporting that the finale for bb10 will be Wednesday, September 17th, I'm really leaning more toward Sunday, September 21st... for 3 reasons:
- Yeah, Survivor starts on Thursday the 18th, but it doesn't matter this year, because BB isn't on Thursday nights, and..
- Nothing is scheduled to premiere on Sunday the 21st... unlike Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th and Sunday the 28th - which is the season premiere for The Amazing Race! :)
- Oddly enough, the place that's doing the live show tickets has the last date listed as ★ 8/20/08, which is a Saturday - Pre-taping the audience portion, perhaps??
What does all this mean to you? Well, when ya do the math, starting from today, Sunday, July 13th, and go ahead in the calendar to Sunday, September 21st, that works out to exactly 10 weeks... as in 2 weeks free and 2 months of feeds. :)
If I'm wrong about the date and the other sites are right, even better. A few extra days for the folks who signed up in the past couple days. And lets face it, the last couple days in the house aren't exactly riveting... ;) Once the jury inquisition & follow-up is done, that's pretty much it...
OK.. I have some shopping to do! Gotta stock up on 1/2 & 1/2 and get enough coffee for the next month... and maybe some food too.

Question for the BB Feeds Smarties - What does the Quad cam do? I clicked on it and it took me to one of the feeds. I thought it was supposed to take me to a window that showed all 4 feeds? Thank you in advance!

Hello, I'm home!!
Haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like to visit the Dish and feed my addiction. Been vacationing and spending lots of time with my hubby, who is back from a 14 month tour in Iraq, Yeah!
By the way Carolyn~ I was in the Miami area twice this past month and I couldn't help but think of you, especially as we enjoyed our cafe con leche.
Anyways, It's gonna be a rough season for me to keep up with, so I am so grateful to have the Dish Team to keep me updated. Trying to sell the house and will be PCSing to Cali in late August. Will only be about 2 hours from LA, now I just need to find a way to get tickets to the finale! Ha!
Also sad I will be driving to the airport to pick up my sis when tonights show is on, I know...Boo Freakin Hoo...

i downloaded real player to my new computer and wouldn't you know it...i forgot to cancel my feeds after last season! oops!!! oh well...guess i'll just have to keep them for this season. yahoo!!! good thing i stay at home with my son now!!

Just an idea but you should consider setting up a live chatroom for this season. There are a bunch of free ones that are easy to set up, they are easy to find just do a quick search on google.
Carolyn? You take time to eat during the season? I would never have guessed.
I also suggest you get a stationary bike this year and a sun lamp. That way you don't have to leave home at all. Surely you can find someone on the island to deliver your coffee and fresh half & half as needed.

Woohoo....just hours to go!!! I'm hoping to keep up this summer, but I will be studying, working, being a mom, etc etc etc. And thankfully my hubby to be is on nights and out of town for the next month or so, that means my BB addiction won't lead to a divorce before we even get married!! I noticed you said the feeds come on after the east coast showing? is this so? Cause Im on the west coast and its always come on after the west coast showing and if it starts early I'll watch it via e-net and and and and ... Im soo confused *pulls out hair*

imogen... those were the test feed links. they may have changed now that they've been made accessible to everyone with superpass directly from real.... if so, we'll get the new ones up shortly.
on an unrelated note... carolyn, i wanted to set up the rss feed to my yahoo or google and it would not set up right.. am i doing something wrong???? :<

Hi Carolyn!! Happy BB day! I have a question, I got the feeds yesterday for the first time (yeah!) but I can't get it to do anything. It says "this page cannot be displayed at this time". It won't let me sign in either...it says "we are unable to do that at this time". Any suggestions? I never got an email either after I purchased them, I don't know if I was supposed to or not. Thank you in advance!!

Carolyn for the first time I am going to have the live feeds. BUT, I'm sooooo sad! :( I can not get them to work no how for 2 days now. I called in tech support and wouldn't you know I have even them stumped with what is going on. They have it in the hands of a level 2 support guy no less trying to figure out why I can't get them. I can't connect/sign in. We've tried everything they know of.
Guess I'm right back to where I was the last several years after all. I just hope it does get figured out overall in the end before to long or else this is how it will be.
I haven't seen any spoilers posted here yet. I know of a couple but I'm not posted them. I'll let you or someone else have the honors of it.

Boy, I hope you get it sussed out. Perhaps just removing the software from your computer then dl'ing it again might do the trick.
It's usually something dead easy like that.
As for the spoilers, I've posted links to them, but that's about it... I know no one else really follows the rules, but i think the site that scooped it should get all the credit for it, and all the hits....

are you logged into your real player account when you click the side links? you have to be logged into your real account and have superpass to see those links..
kari you should get an email from real..do you have the most recent version of real? we had some problems with ours recently and it was that we needed to update the real player..try the update link on your real player..
hope that helps..let us know what happens..
Only advice I can offer is to make sure your realplayer is updated to the latest version and sign in after that, you may even want to try uninstalling and reinstalling realplayer, thats what I had to do the first year I had em...
hint for anyone who already had real player but are having trouble logging in..we had a similar problem..we had to run real update..try the real update link on the player..

Yeahhhhhh I got it working!!!! All I had to do was uninstall real 11.0 and instal real 10.5. I hope that helps anyoen else with that problem!!
