***I have to say - I really think, as a group, we've warmed up to this cast faster than any I can remember. Typically, there's about a 2 week period where everyone's missing the cast from the season before, and saying how the new crew will never live up to them, but not so much this season. So let's give some credit where it's due... to Casting & the Producers doing a terrific job... These people have been non-stop since the moment the live feeds got switched on for us on Sunday night.

The mood in the HoH Room is light. Talk about snoring, who sleeps with their legs open, waiting on production.
April and Ollie are sharing a swively chair. He's got his arm draped casually over her. Renny and Keesha are sharing another chair - Keesha's sprawled out, Renny's got half her tush on the edge. Renny seems mesmerized by the lava lamp effect on the HoH spy screen. Steven's laying on the floor. Libra's in the chair closes to the spy screen. Michelle's sitting at the table. Dan's pacing. Jessie's sprawled on the florr, close to the bathroom. Jerry's sitting on the edge of the bed on the platform that surrounds it.
Talk has turned to Ikea - the furniture and the food. Now on to Costco.
All safe topics for a room full of people ultimately out to get eachother.

woot! I'm so excited for the show! And the HOH comp...and the feeds afterward! Tonight is the first night that I will actually get to sit down and watch. My husband has been home every night since it started...He's working tonight though, so I'll have freedom to watch yeppie!

I hope they vote Brian off tonight! He absolutely cut his own throat. What was he thinking? Going aound telling evrybody "Yeah I can keep you safe or I can do that" I do not like him and did not like him from the start. And that Jesse is exactly what Renny called him. He won't be young forever and he is very direspectful. I hope he goes next!
I was playing around on the computer, reading all of the comments last night when the fight started, and I MISSED IT because of reading the Dish! LOL How's that for ironic?

I already like this season better than last season, but I just wish Steven was leaving as well. I didnt want Brian to leave at first but if they keep him he will go again them the next week. My thing is, why is Angie hanging herself she should just step back and let Steven catch the heat and Dan but I think Dan won't be as big as a target because he's so laid back.. Cant wait for tonights show.

BB10 - Much better table manners
BB9 -HGs entertain themselves wtih strip shows and orgies
BB10 - they make up fun games to amuse themselves
BB9 - lazy and on the whole messy with Sheila doing most of the cleaning
BB10 - most help with the cleaning etc.
BB9- hard to understand most of what was being said... english-english translation was necessary
BB10 - most are intelligible, most of the time.
BB9 - easier to pick faves. James, Chelsia, Sharon, Sheila (yes! Sheila!)
BB10 - too damn confusing. My faves so far are Angie(please don't implode), Keesha, and though he frustrates me sometimes gotta love Jerry. He is so cute and ernest and fierce sometimes. Desptie the fact that he hit the self-destruct too fast, I appreciate Brian's intelligence and humour. I will miss his energy.

Wouldn't it be wild if the evicted hg's were sequested IN THE HOUSE! They stay in the house amongst the others so they can observe everything that goes on. And let the entire crew vote, not just the last 7 in sequester.
I'm loving this season so far. I have my favorites, one of which was Brian. I'm terribly bummed that he is gonna be voted out already.
Today is my last day of vacation, booooo hoooooo! No more late nights for me! :(

I agree about the cast. Normally you forget about the first person voted out of the house because they aren't there long enough to make their mark. This season is so different. Brian (most likely) will always be remembered. He came out swinging with everything he had. To bad he did it to early. I wished he'd have held back and the struck.

Is it too much to hope that the HGs would follow the last Survivor and start with the blind sides? Now THAT was gameplay!
I don't hate Renny. I don't love her either. She is - meh. Brian would however add spark to the feeds, no? Anywho. Since this isnt Survivor. I unfortunately think Brian will go with a vote of 10-0. Who is going to vote for him now and put a huge target on their backsides?
I am the most warm to season 8 and season six, least of what I have seen to season 9. As far as warming uo to season 10? no real single HG that I am rooting for yet but most don't really bother me.

Good morning! I have to say, I'm not loving this cast yet. I'm not finding anyone I would really like to win yet, but instead only finding stuff I don't like about each of them. I still miss the old cast! I'm hoping I will warm up to them soon. In fact, I dvr bbad every night, and this season I'm having a hard time even watching it. Thank God I have Carolyn and the dish family to give me all the important clips and details! Hmm..where's the Sheila Show when you need it?
I really hope they keep Brian. I want to see Libra and her minions going down. plus, i really like brian despite his stupidity. hes cute and funny! :)

Now that i'm all caught up i'm totatly agree with Coreyw about Jessie. I thought maybe i was just being judgemental cause of his age or maybe because they guy spends so much time showing himself off physically. ( didn't he say in the very first show that the reason he sat out of the first ever comp was because he didn't want ppl to think he was all about the muscles? But yet he wears the most ridiculous shirts to show himself off?) But nope...after all i've seen and all i'm reading he is just coming across as a very childish man. Wont hurt my feelers if he ends up leaving in the next coming weeks!
Renny...yes she is annoying to listen to but i think over the next few days we will end up seeing a very mothering sweet side to this otherwise loud, abnoxious woman.

i would find that being the most amazing twists in my short bb experience if that actually went down like that. i suspect its more likely what u see is what u get. she's my sheila this year, god shes awful but definetly wanna see her stick around
agree with u on jessie though, hes kinda sad really. great body but strikes me as he sees that is all he has to offer the world. suspect hed have trouble spelling C*A*T even if you spotted him a couple letters

Charlie- the reason i think Renny will end up surprising us is because of how sweet she seems to be when alone with one person at a time. She shows general thoughfulness.
I agree she does seem to be a lot like Shelia in the post menopausal way but i believe she is a lot smarter then ppl are giving her credit for atm. Her voice drives me nuts and her vibrance is over the top but i do honestly think she will be someone to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
Funny how the cameras followed Angie into the bathroom but not Michelle.
Oh and Jerry. Pack your stuff so peeps can get comfy. :)

Good Day and yeah... first eviction!
I haven't had a chance to be on much this year... so far this week. I have watched the feeds and read the blogs. It's funny... the people I thought I would NOT like are growing on me, simply because they are not part of the flock. We have enough of that in politics this year and I hoped BB would be different.
I wanted to like April, Ollie and Jerry... but after their fickleness and crap talking along with Libra and Michelle... not so much any more.
The Flock is mad at Angie for being friends and loyal to Brian when they all do the same. The H-word is very early on here. I wish Brian would stay... for history lessons and eye candy. He actually is a good player, but came on too strong. Sorry to see him go.
I don't like that the Flock has the order mapped out already. I hope they implode. It never works when that many make a pact.
Dan, Steven, Angie and maybe Keesha for the win... simply to shake things up. I don't like predictability this early.

K I've not been able to watch a single episode as of yet, and it's KILLING me!! Thanks to the Dish Chicks for keeping me up to date. I don't know if anyone else has said this, but doesn't Keesha look alot like Danni from BB8? I had to take a second look on some of the videos. Just my opinion....
I maintain that 8 was the best season so far, but these hg's are growing on me. They are very entertaining and they try to appeal/talk to feed viewers and BBAD viewers so much more than 9 did!

Have to admit, I've flip-flopped a lot over the past few days. I'm finding I really like Brian; and Renny has grown on me as well.
I could easily live without Jessie and Memphis.
Michelle is really starting irk me. It's like she has trouble radar. She's there the minute there's trouble and her initial 'findings' are usually wrong. All-in-all, I'll be sad to see either Brian or Renny go tonight.

you may be 100% on the mark with that, and i saw her in the one on ones you mentioned and she was consoling and supportive, but i guess i saw that as rather disingenuous. motivated more by being on the block. the rest of the time she seems to operate on a "ready, fire, aim" mentailty. great for viewing but gets her in trouble in the house. i can easily see her being liberated as she comes off the block and goes nuclear rather quickly, if theres room fo that with all the other bombs goin off around her.
I think everyone as a whole is always way too hard on the season 9 cast.
The producers screwed up last season with the couple twist... I had no problem with the casting except that too many didnt know about the ins and outs of the game.
But Alison Grodner said it herself she expected people like Jen, Alison and Alex to all be there till the end because they all had solid gameplans and knew the game inside out. Then you throw the twist in and those 3 are all out early on.
You put people like Jen, Parker, Alex, Amanda, Alison, and Matty on any other season and you are singing a much different tune about last season's cast... believe me!
Remember they cast each season based on who they think will fit each role... who will be the player... who will be the floater.... the dumb one... the father/mother figure... the eye candy etc...
More times than less it doesnt work out the way the producers wanted it to and thats when the season isnt as great. But in a season like 8 for example.. it couldnt have worked out more perfectly for how they planned and thats why it was such a huge hit.
Couple of thoughts:
What's with this weird hatred towards Brian? He was trying to play the game, came on too strong, and got burned. It makes sense to get him out of the house from a gameplay standpoint. But it's not like he was all that bad to anyone. Too many of the HGs are letting things get way too personal, way too early. If they're getting their feelings hurt over this, then they are in for a treat in a few weeks, when alliances are stronger and they all know each other better.
And now Angie is likely a target this week because she was being friendly with Brian? I'm hoping she stays a while (partly for eye candy, admittedly), but I don't think it's gonna happen.
Hey, kjchardonnay77 - I remember that the season 9 cast were specifically told not to try to play to the BBAD & live feed viewers. That was probably because of the planned strip tease, but still they were told just to be real & spontaneous instead of acting for the cameras.
At the rate these HGs are blasting throught the "thou shall not", we'll have a blow up yet between Dan and Libra regarding politics! :-)
And it's a shame that Brian's going. He's a smart dude, and would have been interesting to watch.
Angie might be my favorite, partly for eye candy, but mostly because she seems to be able to separate the game from the personal stuff.
I'm Portuguese, so I REALLY want to like Michelle, but she's just so damn loud and annoying. But being Portuguese, I guess I should have expected that. :)
I have to agree, this is my favorite cast since BB allstars!!! BB9 had one of the weakest casting. I am so happy with this season so far!!! :)
I have to agree with the comment posted by alexandria, and say that I really like Brian and would be sad to see him leave.
I find it interesting that everyone is jumping on him for playing too hard too soon. When it appeared that no one else was playing really... wasn't it a comment from someone the other day who mentioned that they all talked big in their interviews and then forgot their game plans when they got in the house? Were there other alliances? Other than the 'assumed' one between Ollie and April?
I actually would like to see the house flip on Libra. Its trading one dictatorship for another in a way. it appeared in the clip with April that she totally worked April into a frenzy about Ollie being in an alliance with the other boys. It should be expected, that someone could, would and should be in an alliance, yes? and just because they have a showmance going on, doesn't mean that he will be telling her everything.
I would be very pleased to see someone use Brian as their shield and flip things and vote out Libra next week.

Sheila BB9, went 10 whole, consecutive minutes without referring to herself as a "single mom". Sadly, in minute 11 she staked the claim for roll model for "single moms"
I did see the video of Steven and his brief flash. He was changing and the camera kept zooming in on him and he called the camera a pervert. No real nudity, just a peek of his junk as he is pulling up his underwear.

i too CANNOT wait for the HOH comp. and i CANNOT wait to see which direction the new HOH goes in. this season is crazy already and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
But first.. I gotta say, I really enjoyed the vast majority of the BB9 cast. That wasn't the point i was trying to make... I was just trying to say that people warmed up to this cast much faster than they did seasons prior.. For season 8, for example, the 1st 2 weeks of comments were filled with how they could never replace the season before... It's like that pretty much every season.
I'm confused with the live audience aspect...does anyone know how its going to work?? and did they ever explain how america was going to fit in...i thought they would say something last night...i'm just so ready to know what the twist is going to be! (whats this about a secret room?)
I just want to say... I love reading everyones comments! It amazes me how different people see things depending on who they are rooting for or who they relate to best! Just like BB9 with James... the Brian situation has everyone up in arms. I couldn't stand James until the very end of his reign but loved reading everyones comments, whether they loved him or not... same thing with Brian. I didn't like his cocky attitude from day 1 & think he could have been a better player if he would have left his ego at the door but am really hoping he goes out the door tonight. But if he really is a good player, he could possibly pull it off, which more power to him if that's the case!
Anyway, I would also like to echo all the comments about BBDish! You guys are amazing & love that you get involved with the us & comment on your favs or otherwise! I have used other sites but found you last year & can really rely on this one site to get all the info I need!! Thank you!!

To anony from yesterday: No, I did not mean to "imply" that steven was gay by choice even though I typed those words. I simply meant he "chose" to be very open about (and nothing wrong with it) and that he should understand stigmas/sterotypes placed on people yet he spoke the words he did. I need to try to be more clear with what I am saying. Sorry.
Now back to all my catch up. :)
season 9 was put together on the fly and in record time. I think it was pretty good all things considered.
