Overnight Lite
Good morning, Big Brother Lovers. Happy Saturday!
Keesha spent most of the night developing a case against Libra with the other HGs, and for a while there, it looked like it was going to work: Keesha had Jessie so riled up about Libra, he wanted Michelle to use the veto so he could put Libra up as the renom. Jerry also spoke to Jessie about Libra - after Keesha had planted the seeds with him.
Libra spent much of her time trying to spread the word against Angie. Libra's quite bothered that Angie seems a little too safe for the moment. She got in Jessie's ear about it, as well as Memphis' and Keesha's. In Keesha's case, knowing her feelings for Steven, Libra said that if Angie was up on the block next to Steven, he would be safe from her vote.
Libra has figured out that Memphis, Michelle and Jessie are together, and she's sniffing out Angie's involvement there too.
Jessie was far more swayed by Keesha than Libra, and he started pressing Michelle to use the Veto so he could put Libra up on the block. Both Michelle and Memphis agree that Libra, while a bit divisive in her tactics, is not the fish to fry right now, and Michelle has said she will not be using the veto, period.
Michelle actually got very angry with Jessie last night, and proved her mettle. It appears her crush did not come with blinders or rose colored glasses. For this, Michelle gets the award of the night... Eyes on the prize, Michelle.
Michelle speaks with Memphis privately, following Jessie's suggestion to backdoor Libra. She still quite peeved with Jessie, and her language suggests she's auditioning for Quentin Tarantino's next film.
After this exchange, Memphis and Michelle head back up to the HoH to talk more with Jessie. Cooler heads prevail... Jessie vows not to get so rattled by Libra and to be more prepared for her. Their alliance is intact, and their goal is to keep the heat off themselves and Angie. Oh, and to make sure either Memphis or Michelle win the next HoH... and not Libra. Nominations stay the same, and the target for elimination remains Steven.

Here's to hoping Libra decides to keep Steven knowing he iwll go full force against the other three. Or Libra wins next HOH and goes after them. I hate her, but Libra figured it out... someone has to attack them.
Wonder if they will nom her if they realize she has figured them out?
"Their alliance is intact, and their goal is to keep the heat off themselves and Angie." - i dont see how thats gonna happen when they have libra figuring it out.
"Oh, and to make sure either Memphis or Michelle win the next HoH... and not Libra. Nominations stay the same, and the target for elimination remains Steven."-i dont see how that would make sure that libra wouldnt get it though and plus i think it would be GREAT if all libra, april, keesha, renny and ollie voted to keep steven in the house now that would be some good stuff
:)
In a 2:30 clip, Michelle threw 20 F bombs (yes, I counted). That has to be a BB record.
At first I was rooting for Jessie but I'm over him. Libra may be stirring the pot but the real threats are the people riding their way while others do their dirty work i.e. Memphis, Angie, Dan, Jerry, and Ollie. This season will become really dull if Libra leaves early.
Here's to Jessie getting kicked off next week!
This is what bothers me about people who win the POV, they rarely use it. I kind of see it as what is the point of winning if you aren't going to use it. I guess there is some stratey in not using it if you want one of the noms to go home but at the same time, you can still use it to shake up the house. I know it is situational but I don't want Steven to go home :(
BTW good morning everyone and have a great weekend :)
Good morning! :)
Reasons the alliance in power (J/M/M) want Steven out:
Jessie : he was put up by Brian and Steven didn't kiss his ass and worship at his feet on cue.
Memphis: he was Brian's next target, and Steven was allied with Brian.
Michelle: not too sure there.
Now Angie is part of their alliance but I'm not too sure why on their side. I can understand she wants to stay safe and they are providing that safety but why are they wanting to keep her safe?
I like Angie, but as far as game play is concerned, she has made a LOT of bad moves. She would be a liability for them. If they were smart, they would diffuse Libra by putting up Angie.
Just some early morning thoughts with my first shot of caffeine :)
Brother M - I counted 25 F Bombs!
Carolyn - I think Quentin should cast her in his next flick. "F Bombs Over Burbank: :)
Good Morning!
Brother- LOL. I counted too. I don't think I could do that if I tried.
While Michelle is playing pool she says F**** 27 times in a 2 1/2 minute period. hahaha kinda trashy if ya ask me
Was it 25? I know she said s--t 5 times as well.
It's a very New England thing to use "f---in" as a conjunction.
Ok... so Libra does get on my nerves but if Michelle was as smart as I know she is, she'd totally avoid that suggestion made by Jessie to out Libra at this point of the game. The obvious people that need to go are Jerry, Renny and Libra. So leave them in the game for now and knock out those that are laying low because as the game goes on those that lay low will not have anywhere to hide. They'll start coming out more as we see Memphis has now started really playing the game. So this week vote out Steven, next week Dan and then the week after that Angie. From there they can vote out Jerry, Renny and then Libra. However.... if the house just goes to the HOH like they did Jerry and get the HOH to vote out who the majority want... that might be this season's strategy. LMAO... vote out the previous HOH! LOL.. but that won't happen.. that's only in my dream world. LOL
Brother M - Michelle was using other words to kind of fill in the space between F-bombs, and she was using the F word as every part of speech! haha :)
I am horrified to admit that I am from Boston and yes it is a New England thing to use the F* Bomb as an adjective! I have a very very bad mouth but there is a time and place.
PS I am a preschool teacher at a church so if you saw me I really do not fit the bill of an F* Bomb chica ;p
I like Keesha the most at first but like with all Leos' she a two face b. I don't like keesha anymore disloyal but Libra is smart to figured out the alliance but she should have kept it to herself. They should have Libra in there alliance instead of Angie. I hope the game will go like this Steven follwed by Jerry, Renny, Jessie, Ollie, then April. They should be out because of their "showmance" Jessie needs to go because someone needs to break up they're alliance. I like Libra I'm sorry. I hope Jerry goes next week.
i counted 27 F bombs
I've come to find out that Memphis told Steve that he doesn't believe in back-dooring & that even if Libra would go up (or anybody for that matter) he'd still vote out the one original nom b/c back-dooring ppl wasn't "fair"...funny that since he voted out Brian when Brian was a re-nom.......aka back-doored...wonder if Steve caught on to that contradiction too. He's starting to get on my nerves w/ talk like that plus his dislike for Jerry & trying to get Jerry out. BTW, I say technically it WOULD be fair to vote out Libra if she were a re-nom since she DID (according to reports) participate in the POV comp...IOW she had a shot to protect herself & failed...& if I remember correctly Brian DIDN'T get to do the POV comp but was back-doored.
Genie, It's kind of like "buyers remorse" w/ Angie b/c they brought her into their alliance & now regret that decision. They feel they have to protect her now b/c they think nobody has figured out those 3 are in an alliance (they're wrong but they don't know that) & that if they throw Angie out of the alliance that she'll blow the whistle on their alliance...which she probably would & should..esp if she actually gets voted out she could out the alliance in her farewell speech.

Brandy, As a PROUD LEO I take offense to your comments about "ALL Leo's". I'm NOT two-faced...as a matter of fact...I get criticized for being too blunt & honest, thank you very much. I don't like Keesha either but I take greater offense to your comments than anything she has said or done so far.

In my post I meant to say Dan followed by the rest. I cannot stand April at all.
@Anon 10:39 I have meet so many Leo different races background etc. They all start off as nice ppl but the loyality is not there imo. (not everyon is the same I know) They're are some that think they're better than everybody and aren't any better themselves, the ones I came across are usually book smart and know it alls big time. I heard August Leos are cooler than July ones. I didn't mean to offend u in any way sorry.
my problem with Memphis when he spoke to Steven was that he kept saying that he didn't like to be backdoored. He said that he was upset cause he didn't like that he wouldn't of been able to save himself --- mmmm but he played in veto, so yes Memphis you had the chance to save yourself.
you know what I mean.
I also just don't get why they are so set on it being Steven. The fact is both Dan and Steven were eith Brian. But again I don't get the whole guilty by association logic either. The whole we need everyone associated with Brian out --mmmm Brian is out, he can't do anything else to you. I can understand getting one out (Dan or Steven) cause they are an alliance of sorts (of 2), but then move on to another bigger alliance. It just seems like beating a dead horse

Brandy, Unfortunately, Keesha IS a Leo born in Aug. (8/1) & also unfortunately SO IS LIBRA (8/6). I'm ashamed that they're both born in Aug (as am I).
So you don't like Keesha b/c she's a Leo but you like Libra who is also a Leo.
Just try & keep from saying statements that start w/ the words "ALL" or "NEVER" when referring to classifications/groups of ppl would be a better way to frame posts.
