Halleluja! The sound is working.
At the outset of sound-glorious-sound, I'm on 1, and Brian is telling Steven to go with the grain on the vote... that it's ok with him.. He doesn't want Steven to have a target on his back.
What follows is just a not so random sampling of pertinent conversations around the house this first night of BB10. :)

OK.. I'm just so happy the sound is finally on. Just gonna sit here and learn them a bit. And... for the first time this season, I have to say it...

I'm loving everyone right now. Absolutely everyone. I really think this is going to be a very cool season. However, it's 2:25am eastern, and if I don't crash soon, I wont wake up to do an overnight report. :) So goodnight, Big Brother lovers!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but the big brother sign on the memory wall, I just noticed that it has a key slot? Would that be there for no reason you think?
Michelle and ? did something to convince Jerry to put Brian up -- something also happened with Memphis - like it was about to him as the renom and something happened to stop that - Brian says he is being cocky about that now.

So my take on the cast after watching the show and BBAD.
I don't have an opinion about many yet. Of course I like Steve. :P....
Jerry is hilarious and while NO ONE could ever replace Chicken George, I think he may be a 2nd all time favorite of mine.
Dan is going to be a force to be dealt with. On AD, he was very good at drawing people into conversations and getting them to talk about themselves. He's soaking in every story like a sponge. His intellect is going to take him far. I want to like him but i just can't. He can't stand liberals? Guess what? ;)
Keesha: Yes a Danielle look-alike and ACT-alike for sure. Seems all she did was sit at the counter and have bizzare sour looks on her face. I hope Steven doesn't stay close to her for long.
It's HILARIOUS! They couldn't drink until AD was over. They started popping those corks and opening cans 15 minutes before. YAY! another season of alcoholics. ;) .. I wonder if this is going to be the rule of the season. More control over what we see and hear since AD is live and they don't cut to the FISHIES! Maybe Sho2 asked for that since they could have been held liable for so many things that were said on AD last season.
So .... I'll keep this short and save my novelettes for later.
Great to see the names and read the comments. I feel like tonight was a family reunion. As usual, I didn't make it in time, but this way I can type without refreshing to see what someone else said.
I'll be doing the direct to someone comments when I catch up and play 'who's gay and who ain't' (for the men) so I know what I can get away with when typing to someone. (As if that ever slowed me down.)

Ok.. Jerry wins POV.. takes Jessie off the block... Puts up Brian for having another alliance with dan and ollie...
Personally, Renny needs to go... Ollie is a snake and Libra has a big mouth... Dan is trying to save his own butt and steve is loved by everyone! If Brian keeps his mouth shut, and lets Renny destroy herself...
I watched Big Brother After Dark and I love how they all have egos already. Also is there going to be a 14th House Guest? There is speculation (Dan & Brian) about America deciding or fans being the 14th House Guest. That would be so awesome. It would shake things up, which is what these people need right now, because they all think they know how to play the game. I mean wouldn't it be fun if the fans of the show picked a House Guest, besides the same casting director...just a thought???
Here is an idea about the 14th house guest.. IF there is one... Neil left the show voluntarily last season after the first eviction due to family problems.. maybe they are going to allow him to come back after the first eviction... just a thought... But remember, you heard it here first! LOL

gaytor - See what u can get away with...guh? We ALL know that's not ure role here, it's the gay guy who likes lady clothes and speculates homosexuality (wishful homosexuality, whatever). That crude overgeneralization of stereotypes is brought to you all via Matt from season 9. Oh Mattie, how much we miss thee... :)
Now let's get back to the non-train wrecks of Season 10!! I am liking these people a lot. Libra, who I knew I was gonna love, now Im kinda iffy. I know, first night n everything, but gotta go with the gut.
I stayed up for about 40 minutes last night on BBAD and figured out that Brian was on the block...HALLELUJAH! Sorry, but any arrogant dousche who speaks about himself in 3rd person deserves a nice swift kick in the ass from a guy who might not even be able to lift his leg up at all...hmmm...makes you think. :)
Just how do u run gay? Let's all thank Renny for showing us how. (Bravo Renny!!)

I am so mad.
I was getting showtime & all the movie channels free for like almost two years. Since I moved in to this place. Then Time warner did this upgrade thing and they all went away. I miss watching after dark.
so sad.
Can I tell you how happy I am that Jerry put up Brian! First of all, he won veto, cheers to the 75 year old kicking butt! And second of all my mouth dropped when he listened the Brian and put up Renny and Jessie! I mean come on!
Renny appears to have the least game in the house, oblivious to anything that is going on around her. And Jessie as officially made the worst move in bb10 already by sitting out on his chance to win a beaut of a Camaro!
I am so glad that the man reppin' the bb fans (watching every episode since season one I believe) finally stepped up to the plate!
I'm sticking to loving April and Libra, and they seem to get along together which is great for me! Maybe this season I will like people from just one alliance so I can cheer for a side. The people I always like seem to end up arch enemies in the house!
Get Brian and Dan out of there!

Does anyone know what day in the house it is now? I know we are playing a catch up game but are we a week behind or just a couple days?
If I remember correctly Season 8 there was 2 weeks before the first person was voted out....

I am a Brian fan! I guess I'm the only one but I find him very attractive....I really hope Renny get the boot I don't think I can take her all season just from episode 1 I cannot stand the woman.
I am not getting the live feeds since I am at work for most of the day and I cannot access youtube at work (it's blocked) so I will be rely soley on the text of this blog and BBAD (which I taped last night and will have to catch up on when I get home at 5:30PM.) So thankful that you take the time to do this for us poor working schlubs. Thanks Carolyn.
One other question -- did I see it right yesterday, is Housecalls going to be on at 3PM eastern? Why so late? Any rumors going around on who's going to be co-hosts this year? Diane did the interviews...do you think she may co-host one of the days?
