After over an hour of fishies, the feeds are back and Chima is gone from the Big Brother 11 house. We learn over the next several minutes that she has quit the show and will not be a part of the jury house...

***Natalie makes an excellent point here. This week, it's the production team who get to expect the unexpected. They had planned for a double elimination/fast forward show on Thursday, and while this week will most certainly still involve 2 players being evicted (well, one quitting and one being evicted), they've gotta be doing a bit of scrambling now to figure out how they're going to handle this turn of events.

I woke up just about an hour ago to the weirdest things going on, and reading the blog posts about Chima's latest antics.........and then find out that she is gone.
I'm glad. Her antics, threats, racist rants, attacks against Production, etc......It's about time that they stepped in to put a stop to it.
I tried to defend her a little during the season, but in the last week or so, she made it impossible to continue to defend her actions and words.

The irony here is, in trying her best to bait Russell into doing something to get himself removed from the house, she managed to ensure her own demise and extraction.
Morning Carolyn.. I stayed up after the feeds went down and when they were not coming up after a long while then I realized that something serious was happening. The tension was really intense in the house last night. Before the fishies, Chima was P/O'd that her Cheetos were missing and she thought that Russell took them. Not long after that, the feeds went down for about an hour and a half.
Pretty blistering historical event for BB. I was concerned that something was going to get physical any day now at this point. Glad BB stepped in. It was becoming necessary.
We'll have to see what they do next. Maybe bring someone back into the game via America's vote.. That would be cool. :)

I'll be glad to see Nat and Kevin both go. Kevin is more concerned about perception, and not making any big moves or rocking the boat, he didn't stand up to Chima, he didn't save his *friend* Lydia because he was worried about how Chima would react.....(sure didn't stop Jeff did it?)

I've sort of been a fan of Lydia, but the last couple of days she ruined that for me. Crying over Jessie and following Chima and Nat and their childish antics??? Grow up and play the BB game or go home. Time for her to be evicted, too.
Just heard Natalie tell Lydia that they will look for something of Lydia's tomorrow, and if they still can't find it, they will ask *them*.

Hey everyone ! First I have to say I am so addicted to this site :) Thanks to everyone that keeps us up to date. U all are great. With that being said ,on to my next thing.. I just have to say Chima leaving is the start to a beautiful morning for me :)She isnt a very nice person at all and she so needed to to be out of the house.
I love Jeff, like alot of us do and hope its him n Jordan in the end.
Not at all sorry that Chima is gone. I am sorry she ruined the way the game and feeds have always worked for both the other players and the viewers.
Chima is not a strong woman. She is not even a decent woman. I don't know if she was removed from the house or if she left on her own, but it shows cowardice and weakness. It has to violate some kind of contractual obligation and I hope she is sued accordingly and blackballed from any reunion or any future reality.
With all of Lydia's emotional highs and lows, with all the nasty comments about Michelle being F'n crazy, Chima has consistently proven herself to be the most emotionally unhealthy and mentally unstable person in the house. I am not saying that to be rude and I am not making a professional judgement. Just giving an honest opinion based on the way she has acted.

It's sort of fun to have the cameras on Lydia & Nat, because you can hear J/J/R/M laughing and talking loudly (and joyfully) while the two Widows are deadly quiet.
If you guys want to see the flash back on the mic in the hottub. Its
at Aug 14 about a minute after 10PM camera #2.
Production told her to get another mic a little while later and she refused. Natalie pleaded with her. Kevin ended up going to get it and when she put it on, she put the mic down by her stomach. It was about 1:15 AM the feeds went down.
I love that Russ was stomping around in those loud HOH slippers while Nat is trying to sleep. I just made a comment the other day about how annoying it is and I wish that she'd pick up her feet.
Maybe now she'll realize how annoying it is. Like w/ me...it drives me nuts if YOU flip the channels on my tv or stereo but, if I do it, no problems. :)
Well, she went out on her own terms. In that respect, she was the winner. How is it possible that Russ' schmoozing is working? His apology is so transparent. How did Michele fall for that? Women!

Chima gave up her power the minute she screamed in Russell's face. Now she has given up the chance to compete and the chance to have any say about the vote. No strong woman gives away her power, especially not to men.
Natalie is acting exactly the way I expected she would the first time the game turned against her.Although I have consistently been disgusted by her, I am in no way shocked or surprised. As far as the other HGs, I think they are annoyed but in no way intimidated.
Lydia has disappointed me from the beginning but never so much as now. The way she treats Kevin is dispicable. Turning on a true, loyal friend for what? A man who does not give a crap about you, a girl who is only your friend by default and a woman who only wants you in the house because you don't have a penis. Kevin actually cared about Lydia. When they leave, I hope he dumps her and completely cuts her out of his life. BTW Lydia, your tattoos and bleached hair and piercings do not make you special or unique. Maybe 10 or 15 years ago you would have gotten some attention because you are a female. Nowadays, it doesn't make you stand out. It just makes you another wanna be.

Carolyn I am sure you are working hard with your sources to know the truth. Will you ever be able to share it with us? Who knows. We know you are loved for your honesty and integrity throughout the Big Brother world. You get the inside scoops but then you have to decide the things you can type out loud. You always make sure before you type and that is an admirable quality in this business. You don't do 'tabloid reporting'.
My biggest question is this:
Who thinks Chima actually walked?
She may well have but I tend to think maybe the story of 'she walked' is the option CBS/AGP, and in this case Allison Grodner herself, gave her as a little incentive to 'save face.'
I will always believe she was told her time is up but they gave her the option to claim it was her own decision vs. AGP taking her out.
It's sad however it went down. So many people (I have no idea what the estimated number would be) WANT to be on this show. So many try year after year to make it. Most are very disappointed.
I will venture to say that this is not entirely Chima's fault, no matter what actually happened. I blame AGP for being so lax with not enforcing their own rules and being strict with the contestants. Allowing the HGs to get too friendly with the production staff is the biggest mistake. That allows them to think they are major stars and not just contestants on a once a year reality show.
I have so much more to say on that issue, but I will save it for a late night rant when no one is here to talk to (BLUE!) and I feel like typing a dissertation on Big Brother.

IF Chima quit, she is not the strong woman she and her family believe her to be. My bet is that Chima quit after facing some sort of penalty for destroying BB property. If she did indeed quit, and was not kicked out for doing so.
As we know, production is a bit sensitive about their equipment. I forget which season, but I remember getting fishies for nearly a half hour while BB schooled the hamsters on how not to pull their battery packs by their wires.

I know everyone is glad Chima is gone regardless of the circumstances. Maybe now we don't have to complain about her all day.
From what I have read, she is not the first person to tell production she wanted to leave or the first person to leave.
Since the good side hated her so much, there's no need for them to keep talking about her. If Chima's amo was to intimidate people so was Russell’s. Russell tried to intimidate numerous people and no one (but Chima) ever came to anyone's defense or spoke up when he was doing it. Every person in that house has fault in being privy to a convo where someone was being attacked and not speaking up.
When someone asked if there would be a replacement nom Michelle responded "As long as I get to pick". What if America got to pick? It seems no one likes there power usurped.
I hope everyone whose game play has been to backstab gets to experience it firsthand. If Natalie goes next, then Michelle(backstabbed by Russell), then Russell(backstabbed by Jeff), then Jeff. F2 - Kevin, Lydia (I don’t consider staying out of drama playing the game. Why should she win 50,000 is she has never won a comp –yet)

Watching them practice the new game last night I was thinking when Carolyn gets up there won't be much to do. Who would of thought? Well actually I did. About a half hour before the hour of fish I was saying if someone wants to leave they should just let them leave, happens on UK BB all the time.

Just finished reading the updates to the blog post, and I missed the conversation Jeff and Jordan had about Chima's rape story...the fact that Jordan was not aware of it, and they think that might be part of where some of her hostilities come from (which I would agree). Jordan is very sympathetic towards her and genuinely feels bad for her. Jordan is one of the sweetest people I think BB has ever had on the show!!! Makes me love her even more!!!!! ♥♥♥ Jordan for America's Favorite this season!!! That's who's getting my vote!!!

Question - Did Chima ever will any case or items? If so, being she did not finish the show, does she get to keep them? Does anyone know?
So many people said they sent complaints about Chima yesterday, maybe they heeded your requests.
I am going to cut Chima some slack, for this one reason. She was unstable, and though it is her responsibility, it is not her fault. I can't even imagine the deep seated issues she has with loss of control and being on the defensive. This was not the game for her and the producers should have forseen that.
I know (first hand from a former reality show therapist) about the conflict production always has with the therapists over contestants. Production wants to take it all the way to the edge and have players who will cause drama. The therapists want to makes sure lines aren't crossed, but ultimately production always wins. Therapists are replaceable.
Of course I don't know anything about Chima's evaluations, but I don't think it would take too much digging to learn she has the issues she has.
I'm glad she is off the show, for her. She did atrocious things, yes. But I doubt she has the kind of self awareness to know what a dangerous environment that was for her. She's a diva, but she's also a diva who has been severely emotionally damaged (anyone who lived through what she did would be). I don't like her actions, but I feel for her. She is going to have a steep hill to climb now.

What a great way to wake up..Chima gone..Do you think legal will talk to her and she will decide to come back rather than have a lawsuit against her? She can dish it out, but she sure can't take it.
One other thought. Could BB have told her to do this because she wanted to leave?

Glad to hear Chima is out! I agree with some that I tried to defend her but it got to be to much.
She could not handle being in the heat. She knows how to start the fire but not how to put it out.
And now no more complaining about when she was HOH. Chima it's a game and you should have expected the unexpected. I bet if natalie or jessie had the special power her attitude would be completely different.

Michele has no morals. Although you have to eventually turn on your alliance and/or friends most people feel bad about doing so. I understand its an 'I screw you b4 you screw me situation' but Michele is actually gloating. Its annoying.
There is still a lot of wondering about the "staged" fight between Chima and Russell--Here is one take on it. Chima knew that Russell would be a hard one to get out. She knew he had buttons that could be pushed. She's the one who initially brought up having the fight. I think it was to get it started so that she could run with it to have everyone thinking he was a bad guy and would get rid of him that way. Just an opinion, but it does make a lot of sense.
YAY! Chima's gone. I didn't think I could take any more of her! I don't think she necessarily quit...I think it was more of production giving her an ultimatum. But...does anyone have any idea as to what is going to happen in the house now that a houseguest left on their own?
It sucks were going to have to wait til Tuesday to see anything from last night.
Watching on FB.......and ya know, I think Chima was slowly loosing her mind. Kinda sad, makes ya wonder if she should have been there at all. You can also see the difference in how the two groups deal w/the tension. Those 3 girls are very childest, I really feel for Kevin.

well i havent been on here as much this year..never got back any responses when i sent messages so i will only leave a quick blurb...im glad chima is gone...i think the 3 widows are spoiled and it says alot about them in real life when they dont get their way...by far the most immature of all BB seasons..they ruled the house and when push comes to shove and someone gets AMERICAS VOTE they flip out..start ruining clothes hiding personal things and guarding games and washing machines....wow super super childish

It happened so fast that I havent thought about about that... I hope she get help for her personal issues after this... It's weird, it's like they're not even watching the same show. I mean take sides, choose favorites, fine… (I myself was in the minority when I didnt enjoy the strategies of Janelle or EvelDick, so I understand) but dont skulk around and "tag a wall" with incomplete notions of the motives of the HGs when it's obvious you dont even watch the show carefully enough to realize that your comments are way out in left field
Cheryl, regarding your question way up there......Russell was speaking about Jesse not getting involved, staying away during his mega-night-ordeal with Chima. He's speaking of Jesse not Jeff.
I agree with Bluex--Jane's spot on.
I would also add that Chima's BB stint is an example of sometimes the most compelling bio needs to reconsidered in the casting process. I mean, her rapist was put to death last February for goodness sake. That wound is beyond fresh. This game, this show wasn't for her.

I'm relieved that Chima is gone, but it is unfortunate that she quit and didn't fight it out for POV. She could have at least quit after that so that she could leave by her own hand but not have to ask herself "what if I had won"

They did not vandalize or ruin anybody's stuff. They hid it and that is allowed.
Yes they are playing silly, silly childish games and throwing temper tantrums....but no one said that was against the rules.
I think had production been on them all from the get go, maybe, Maybe the consequences wouldn't have come to this.

I want to make a comment about my own post. Chima did rude and offensive things, she was nasty, childish, and hateful. However, she did not do "atrocious" things. What her rapist did to her was atrocious. The actual terrorists (not Russell the "terrorist") did atrocious things. Chima was just an ass.

I don't think Jessie will come back into the house. This week was going to be a double eviction week.
Chima first person out this week. Thursday, second person out keeps them on schedule.
I hope Chima gets the help she seems to need. I feel for her with the things that happened to her in her life. But didn't like her personality at all.
