Jessie: He's trying to play it so everyone'll keep him if everyone hates him, cause he's the best person to take to the F2.
Chima: We're about to get him expelled before the live eviction.

Natalie complains about the lotion provided by production, so Chima says she can use some of hers, but very sparingly. Natalie steps into the shower stall to use it and complains it's too greasy.
Lydia's helping Jessie on the couch and asking Lydia and Chima what they'd like her to make for dinner. Jessie says he wants something too. Lydia says he's not included in the invite. All the while, Natalie's putting lotion on herself...

Russell: Do you think she realizes her laugh is hideous and annoying?
Lydia: I'm sure she's been told that before...
Russell: Or that the majority of her days are spent in the bathroom... (putting on and taking off makeup and creams) but then again, she should be on ANTM... damn... zinger. Lydia, even I'm not that vain... Don't worry. Don't worry... I'll give it all to her on the last day... go out with a f'in bang.

Jeff did the sides, and both Natalie and Lydia are trying to convince Jessie that the top needs work. (i concur) After dealing with his trust issues for a couple minutes, Jessie commands Lydia to cut it for him.
From the kitchen, we hear "Ch Ch Ch Chia" from Russell. Lydia whispers to Jessie and Natalie, "fyi, that's his nickname for Chima."
A moment later, Russell comes into the bathroom, saying don't be mad, then departs, as Lydia begins to cut.
Lydia: Can you just stop freaking out.
Jessie: I'm not. I just think this technique is gonna take a while.
Natalie: She's not taking enough off.
Chima: Jessie, it's movie time!!
3 minutes go by, and Chima returns, nudging on BB's behalf. Jessie gets up. The haircut can wait.

Kevin doesn't think they'll last 90 minutes in that room together watching the movie. He tells Lydia that Russell and Chima are actually seated next to each other.
Lydia tells Kevin about her conversation with Russell this morning, in which he told her that Kevin's only using her and the rest of the women as stepping stones to the 500k. She also tells Kevin that she made it seem to Russell that she and Kevin are on the outs right now.
Lydia then confides to Kevin that she snuggled with Jessie this morning, and it was really nice, and oh, btw, "we kissed." Not today... another day, but it was really nice.
Lydia: Are you really confident I'm staying? I mean, if the power isn't used.
Kevin: Even if Jeff or Jordan use it, they would not use the power to evict you. And if Russell has it, he's not gonna want you out.
Lydia: He told me he's not gonna attack me anymore. He thinks we're cool now.
Kevin wonders if he can ask BB for sandals in his HoH basket. Lydia says sure, since yours broke.
Lydia: Seriously, do you think Jeff has to go before Jordan? Or Jordan before Jeff?
Kevin: I think Jeff before Jordan.
Lydia: I agree.
They move into the splash room, so Lydia can get Kevin's opinion on the dresses she's thinking about wearing for the PoV Ceremony tomorrow...

Anyone else feel like the comments from the callers really got to Natalie about her hygiene? I really don't remember her showering this much at all.
I also think it didn't help her case when she was not showering and wouldn't even change her clothes!

I watched well into the night but stopped commenting. Went back this AM and read all the late night comments. FINALLY, someone else besides me commented on the despicable Chima.
If more people actually saw and heard what she has said I think she would be neck in neck with Ronnie as the most hated houseguest.
After Jessalie I want her OUT!!!
Actually I hope she either get's herself thrown out on Thursday or even today as she plots to get Russell to use physical violence on her by spitting in his face or throwing hot tea on him.
I'm hoping production is watching her very close.
On a positive note I'm still loving Jeff and Jordan. Jeff is much more observant than everyone gives him credit for. He's also really playing a good game. Jordan has more brains than people are giving her credit for too. I'm hoping she isn't falling for Jessies lies.
Also, congrats to EA for yesterday's limericks. She definitely has some talent writing.
Done with my rant for the moment.
I'll bet Chima is warned that interrupting the Live Show cld be an auto nom or instant DQ, bc I have visions of her getting feisty if Jeff stands up when Julie asks abt the Coup d'Etat. She'll be all "AW HALE NO!" cut to commercial, & Chima is sitting w Julie or no exit intvw & straight to HoH comp. LOL

I think it's really funny how people are concerned for CBS. They picked these people and set up the show precisely for this sort of behavior. They can handle themselves. The way the house guests treat each other sometimes bothers me a lot.
That they screw around with AG Productions and CBS just makes me chuckle. Sure, they were picked out of thousands ... they are also helping to make millions upon millions for the network et al and getting paid less than scale. I will have no pity party for anyone involved (except maybe myself. I enjoy a personal pity party now and again).
I know by Jeff using the "Wizard" power it will put a big target on his back but I really want him to change the nominations and put Jessie and Nat up so that they can vote out Jessie and see how far Nat can make it with out him. Jeff needs to win HOH or Jordon on Thursday. Jessie can't be trusted either he has said plenty of times he would get Jeff out so why not Jeff get him first. Nat hasn't won anything so I won't worry about her winning HOH on Thursday and Chima can't play!

Good morning all and what a wonderful Sunday it has been so far.
With that said, I have been thinking about what someone posted a day or so ago about who they would like to see in the final four.
As a feed viewer, I want entertainment, not sleepers and mopers, so my final four would be Jeff and Jordan, of course... and Lydia and Russell...at least we would be entertained.
After watching for the last umpteen days, I have decided that Chima is one of the most pretentious, egotistical people I have seen in a long time and I could not handle her constant chatter for another month. The sooner Jessie and Nat get out the better, but hey, let him get paranoid and stupid a few more times (before Thur....please) then he can go and his make believe girlfriend right behind him.
Kevin, I am still out on, he seems kind, but also a little to much of a push over, except with Ronnie of course.
Michelle, she just leaves me wondering if she is playing that whole house and causing dissention among the masses in order to pick them off or if she is truly that ding battish?

Hope everyone is doing well on this Sunday afternoon. I've been running around all weekend. Back to school shopping for my kids (tax free weekend here). Did check in yesterday to see who won POV. Still haven't read all the comments yet, but eventually.
I am just really disgusted with how rude some of the HG's are to BB. They don't even obey the rules. (sleeping in despite wake-up call, talking back to BB etc.) I think they really need to start giving them penalty noms to show them they mean business. And Chima with her threats to Production. Give me a break. Her a** needs to go, and it all starts with Jeff using the CDE on Thurs. night. I mean really, it's either Jessie or Russell that he has to deal with afterwards. I personally think he'd be better off getting rid of Jessie & weakening Chima & Scrappy. The look on all of their faces will be priceless. Lets all hope that Jeff is willing to shake it up. Thursday can't get here fast enough for me.

Many people expect Jeff to put Jess and Nat on the block Thursday in his coup d'etat. If he does, how will the voting go?
Chima doesn't vote except in a tie - she would evict Jessie. Jeff and Russ would vote to evict Jess so they need at least one more vote to be certain Jessie will leave. Normally I'd say that the girls would vote to evict Jessie, but not Lydia and I doubt that Kevin would. What about Michelle? That leaves Jordan. Can she think clearly enough on short notice to vote Jessie out?
I have to give Russell a point on one thing, Chima does spend an absurd amount of time primping. Yesterday she said it took 2 hours to blow dry her hair (or the hair she purchased). I don't think I spend 2 hour a month blow drying my hair. (Let's see 30 days in a month, 2 minutes per day blow drying, that's 60 minutes. There you have it, one hour a month. Leaves me a lot of time for important things, like sitting on my ass watching the live feeds).
i think chima doesnt realize that the red states can afford tvs and computers and the blue states well dont seem to be doing to good right now..

Just a note: In the previous post Anon @ 10:48 claimed to have seen Jeff alone on the feeds saying that he won't be using the CDE.
I have scoured FB for any and all instances of Jeff being alone, and have not heard him once say that. If I have missed something can someone please give me a time, a feed, and if not what he was doing at the time, and what was happening elsewhere in the house.
This is unconfirmed information, and until it is rumor. :)

I was happy last night that Kevin finally told Lydia to stop playing the victim. He also told he that she is "alone" because she chooses to be, and that when he does try to give her friendly advise, she always does the complete opposite.
Sounded like good advises. I hope she listens.
Now that being said, if he were my best ally in the house and he was refusing to use the POV on me, I would probably kick his butt.

Angelluva, you have every right to say what you feel and we all feel that way about our freedom here and not with fear of getting bashed. But, I disagree and for this reason.
This is Big Brother and BB can do whatever he wants. I think of it as a wake-up call to remind them just that. And we always know to expect the unexpected. I love the whole idea and would even if it were given to someone I dislike while a fav of mine had HoH. I wouldn't be pleased, but I would like it as the twist in the game that it will be.

Chima is not nice she has been making veiled commoents about Russels race for sometime I am glad she said it and tries to say it's because he is terroizing everybody in the house but we all know that it means that he is a decendant from the middle east. I have a few choice words for her but I will keep them to myself since I have read and understand the blog rules lol!
Kevin I've been thinking of the DQ for Chima and I've come to hope that she gets a penalty nom for next week with no chance of getting off the block.
I want this week's execution to happen and if she gets a DQ during the show, the eviction probably wouldn't happen.

Hey Gaytor!! Thanks for the advice on my 14 year old son!!! I completely agree that forcing abstinence doesn't work.... I would much rather him know that he can come us and work on being safe.

When Chima first said the "terrorist" remark it was in a joking way because of his decent & was not during a fight. During their 1st argument she turned it into a derogatory remark & has said it a couple of times since in a derogatory way. Today she covers it by saying it is because he terrorizes ppl in the house. She is not kidding anyone that has heard the various offensive remarks she has made.
I'm sorry but that word "Terrorist" for any personal attacks shouldn't be coming out of anyones mouth after 9/11. That irriates me. She knows exactly what she means. I hope she does spit in Russells face only for her to get thrown out of the house. If she thinks its ok to spit in someones face she's crazy doesn't she know that body fluids have germs and can cause many infections. Thats disgusting overall and god forbid if it were done to her she would rasie all hell.

I am not (nor is she) denying that she said it. My point is simply that she is saying it because he IS terrorizing the house with his rants. She is NOT calling him the name because of his ethnic background or apperance, which is why I think people are thinking the comment is such a big team. Jaggers - i'm with you on the teen yrs. My daughter has to live with her father now because she got to pushy with me. We've had sex talks from the moment they asked me where babies come from. I think that everyone in the house is stir-crazy and a lot of things come of their mouths that they don't realize are as awful as they are (And btw I just started watching the feeds yesterday for this season so this was the first "terrorist comment I saw). So even assuming she did use them in the other contexts as alleged by my fellow bloggers, I really think that everyone in that house is crazy and imagine how hard it is to watch what you are saying 24/7? OK guys, on DQ and punnishment ... here's the thing. The one who really gets punished is CBS and more importantly the advertisers. The rules aren't there to protect the house guests or integrity of the game (integrity of the game is an oxymoron in BB land), they are there in desperate hope that they can prevent anything from happening that will screw up the TV show (or get the sued).
They let things slide because they can ... because they are in charge and they want to. Someone getting DQ'ed is their worst nightmare, it totally screws up the flow of production and makes lousy TV. Bitching, arguing, and coming right to the line without crossing it - is good TV.
As for spitting, they allowed it last season, so they apparently have decided it's alright. It's not assault, it's just rude. Some cop may take you into custody because they decide that is threatening enough to want to nip it in the bud, but unless it comes with a threat of actual violence or harm, it's just gross and anti social.

Can I just say I love Jeff? Not only because he is a beautiful man, inside and out, but because despite everyone's subtle and not so subtle ways of trying to influence him, he does not bite. He holds his words and saves the venting for his honey.
Jordan never ceases to amaze me, and that's not an easy task. She is genuine and naive, yet she has a common sense like very very few in this game.

Frankly, if it weren't for these two, I would have cared less for this season.

As for the terrorist comments, whatever her intentions, this is America, and she can say what she wants, no matter how offensive. Stephen R.. From what I have been seeing Chima always knows what she is saying.. she plans what she is doing... like the planned fight she and Russell had that backfired. That is what started the dislike between the two.

Back in Season 5, Drew and Diane had the right kind of showmance (IMNSHO). They socialized with everyone during waking hours but went to bed together every night. I've mentioned before how much fun that season was with Diane 'finger painting' every night. She certainly relieved Drew's stress.
But back to why I am typing this...
I now have "Jack and Diane" running through my head constantly. Well the tune, and most of the words, but Jack is being replaced with Drew.

Jane, hun, I have to correct you on this, spitting is not "just rude, gross or antisocial behavior" it's actually a crime........and, there need not be any threats of physical violence that accompanies it either, the spitting itself is considered the actual assault.
I speak in the extensive background knowledge of this as both offender of this very charge and from a long list of police officers in my family alone, so I am well versed in law thanks to them always reminding me to simma down with my temper and what I can't and cannot due when I get pissed off! LOL
Since 1987, spitting has actually become more of an issue than people are aware of BECAUSE of the implications of bodily fluids being "forced" upon another, it's therefore classfied as a form of "assault" in most states....
When I was 22 I was arrested and charged with assault for spitting on someone..............you get a slap on the wrist, no doubt, but a crime it still is :-)
Which sucks for me..........I got a nasty temper!! LOL

The beauty of this wonderful blog that Carolyn works so hard to keep up, is that all commentators are welcome and respected, despite what their opinions are on the HGs or the game.
There are two levels or response. About the game play and about the people themselves. We all have our preferences, and our reasons for having them. People are entitled to their opinions as are others entitled to disagree.
That being said, please remember that it's a game, and these are all adults who have signed away their rights for the duration of this competition. Some will use whatever means necessary to get to the end, while others will hold on to their tenants. Whatever the case, whoever you personally are rooting for, keep in mind, that they as well as we are human.

Does anyone remember the conversation between Russell and Chima, in the HoH room, when they discussed Braden and how she honestly didn't feel he was racist? During that conversation, I'm almost positive they discussed the word "terrorist" being the derogatory term toward his race. I can't remember the day but it may have been the 29th around 10:30'ish BB Time. The flashback thingie does not work very well for me so I can pull up an exact date/time and camera.

I so totally understand some viewers liking certain HGs that others dislike. It's called variety or differences in opinions. You have every right to cheer for whomever you wish.
What I don't understand, is making excuses for a HG who made a big deal (publicly and on national TV) about a supposedly racist/bigoted houseguest, and then that same accusing HG turns around and displays a bigoted attitude even larger and more all-encompassing than the one she was ranting against -- towards political systems, whole states, southerners, gays, and a name the previous White House resident used to foment fear within the American public. (I feel, if you think about it, if she truly meant the word the way you claim she did, she could have used "little terror" or just plain "terror." Her adding "yes, I went there" can ONLY mean she meant it the way the viewing public (for the most part) took it.
Not being vigilant 24-hours-a-day about what you say doesn't give any of the HGs the right to use that as an excuse for being bigoted, especially when they make such a big deal about how reprehensible it is in another HG.
I frankly don't care whether she wins or loses. I don't care who wins or loses -- if it can't be Jeff or Jordan (and even I have to admit that is pretty unlikely). :0) But not caring whether she wins or loses doesn't mean I have to make excuses for an individual who is doing exactly what she made such a moral declaration against on national T.V.
Here's hoping, for your sake (so you will be able to continue watching her and cheering for her), that she doesn't go the "spitting on/throwing hot tea at" route she has been spouting. Being a little spitfire that feels like she can take on CBS is one thing. (It's often called "bravado.") Assaulting another HG (and, legally, spitting on an individual is an assault; I'm not sure about the tea, unless it were so hot as to cause injury -- then that, too, is legally assault) takes her actions into a whole different realm. A realm I'm not sure CBS can sit by and ignore.

Evel, well intentioned as you may be, let's not call each other "hun," as was discussed on BB last night, such "niceties" could be interpreted as patronizing.
As for spitting on someone being a crime, for the record, I have been an attorney now for ... oh I think like 15 years. It is possible that in some jurisdictions spitting in general may be a civil offense and from what I am aware one jurisdiction in the country considers spitting on another a simple assault - which is may or may not be a misdemeanor criminal offense, based on "offense touching," though it would likely depend on the circumstances and whether there was some kind of implied threat. Most likely it would still be civil and not criminal.
By definition criminal assault must be threatening. That is what assault is, legally. What police do in any given situation does not determine what is or isn't legal. Police arrest people every day for things they may perceive as or suspect is illegal, and then the court system determines if the act was in fact illegal. Police officers are just the first line of defense in the legal system, they do not, ever, make a final determination of guilt or innocence.

GaYToR, thank you so much for asking me love, my wife is........ doing as best as can be expected. The funeral is tomorrow, it will be a heavy day for her and even heavier I'm afraid once the dust settles. For now she's been busy with the preparations, a lot will hit her when it goes quiet.....
I've kept it low-key with updates because I feared turning this into the "EA Lament Section", and thought I went on and on about it a tad much previously. I apologize for that in fact. Sharing is one thing, but I sincerely don't find it appropriate to come in as gloom and doom daily in here and treat this as my therapy session, not fair to any of you guys
And you've all been so wonderful, really, so I toned it down.
I am being as genuine as I can be when I say you have NO IDEA how much this blog and you dishers have helped me through this, I mean that with everything I got.
Yesterday, for the first time, I was cracking up at the computer as I wrote limericks, it really completely distracted me from all of it and I drowned out the noise in my head. I am so grateful for this joint and you guys, I can't say it enough...........I have spoken about it in detail night after night with my wife in fact, to the point SHE'S grateful I have you guys and this blog right now.....
Amazing huh? An online site and strangers holding my hand through it, I never saw that coming in a million years and would have scoffed at the notion it was possible, I kid you not.......
Anyway, there's my little blip on that for the day, and again, THANK YOU so much for asking love, I know you're here for me, I truly do.........

Bear - what is offensive, and what people have the right to say, in America, are two totally different things. Stephen comes at things from a legal perspective, as do I (well, at least some of the time). We may be deeply offended, but that doesn't give us (anyone but the court) the authority to decide what someone has the "right" to say.
The house guests have signed away certain rights to be on the show, and at any rate it is perfectly within a person's rights in this country to be a bigot, a racist, homophobic, and a hypocrite. There are certain contexts in which you can't or are limited to express these perspectives. BB is not one of them.
Chima may be showing herself in a very bad light, but she has the right to do it. We may as viewers be disgusted, offended, etc, and that's our right. But at the end of the day, unless Chima (or anyone) breaks some law or regulation (like an FCC rule) she can say whatever she wants.
Oh Yeah, the Southern Comment totally ticked me off last night, too!!!
Evel and Genie - ironically my post asking Evel not to use the phrase "hun" came right after Genie called Evel hun. I'm not a Southern girl. I know that some places words like that are no more than saying hello, and have no negative connotation.
I'm a NY'er and can get my hackles up. All debate on our beloved BB Dish is in good spirit and fun.

Two questions if someone can help me pls:
1. I thought the cdt winner decided in the tie. The hoh and pov winner is safe, and everyone votes but the cdt and hoh. Am I wrong here?
2. Do we remember the last fight with Chima and Russell with the water throwing incident? Didn't BB tell her then that it was okay to throw water as long as it wasnt hot like coffee or tea? If this is correct, she knows she is wrong bc she was the one that said it.
Can anyone clear this up for me?

I will say once and just once out loud publicly in here that if and when I DO use the word "hun", by MY nature, it's simply meant by me to be just that, hun, it's tyhat plain and simple. I don't speak in circles or patronize anyone, so if you or anyone else for that matter ever took it as patronizing, just this once, I will say no offense intended whatsoever and i can refrain.....
It was actually my way of attemtpting to show you that I like you, your posts etc. but since i was about to diasgree with you, I didn't want to give the impression that it was some form of dislike, as we know that too can be interpreted as something it isn't.
StephenRitchie ws a perfect example of that as I cringed when the man thought I perhaps hated him because I disagreed with him, didn't what you under that same assumption and hence the "nicety" I used to begin my post. It would bother me believe it or not for me to hurt someone's feelings intentionally. If I mean to hurt them, one knows because as I said, I don't need to speak in a cloud of smoke, I say exactly what I mean so that I never need to be in the position of our very own Chima we're speaking of, and have to start backpeddling.........
I have no use to refer to you as hun or any other "nicety" going forward, point well taken on this end...................
As for what is and isn't legal, I respect you as an attorney in obviously knowing what you speak of for the last I believe 15 years you mentioned. But in the same sentence as I said I am also from a background of law and know that spitting is indeed something one is arrested for (and from personal experience as I mentioned). The final outcome I do completely agree with you is not written in stone as a simple arrest will not and canot determine guilt or innocence nor length or lack of punishment, that is very true. More often than not, as quickly as you enter the police station on this misdemeanor is as quickly as you will be leaving, without even formally being booked.....all very very true, yes. The "victim" of this assault also weighs heavily on the outcome as I have learned, and to what extent of the law it can and will be pushed............
We also agree on the statement of by definition criminal assault must be threatening, which coincides on why & how spitting is regarded in most states & jurisdictions. I don't know of very many cases where one spits on another and the intent wasn't to be threatening, it's not exactly how one says "Good Morning" in these parts and very rarely does it end well when one is spit on.........threatening is almost somewhat the theme of that mood once spitting occurs between 2 people...........
At any rate, is it far cry from being simply "rude behavior" or being classified as merely "obnoxious & antisocial" that is for certain. Patronizing someone, as you stated, that is rude behavior...........

Ok - here is my 2 cents, I still like Lydia, I kinda understand what she is doing, though I don't condone it, nor would do it myself. She reminds me of my niece in a way, her looks and some of her attitude - live and let live.
Though, I like Jeff/Jordan the best. They are just too cute!
Just an interesting point about Chima's terrorism references, assuming she is a racist, she's not a terribly knowledgeable one. She's off in her inferences by several countries. Somehow I don't think when she says terrorist she's thinking about the warring in Israel. Any racist worth their salt should at least own a world map. Not to mention Russell moved to the US before the conflict in Lebanon involving Arab influences, and he is a Catholic - also Lebanon is a democracy and has been for a very long time.
But I guess reality has little to do with any of this.
Still, I think Russell is a jackass, but that's not a political point of view.
Stephen -- Have you heard any of Chima's other remarks re southerners can't speak english, who america voted for for CDT based on skin color (she, Kevin & Nat were too dark), only red states watch this game while blue states are reading books, etc, etc.
She is a very bigoted and hateful person (or at least portrays herself that way in the game). That is why the terrorist names for Russell seem to go much farther than him "terrorizing" the HGs.

I don't like bigots and racists, no matter their color or background.

Comparing a black woman to a Chia pet is kind of offensive to me. Calling her a hag (because she is 34) is also pretty classless.
Jane: Point taken. However, I was speaking more towards a "moral" right to claim that stress was the cause of her prejudice/bigotry. As one of the posters so eloquently stated, "you is what you is." Being in a room of Jewish people who are annoying me is not going to cause me to turn into the "ghost of Hitler" unless that is truly my nature. Her comments, stress-caused or not, light up her true self like she was under a 1,000 watt spotlight. (And I did say I thought Stephen R. had every "right" to cheer on whomever he wishes.) My comment was in no way related to our Constitutional "right" to say what we want. Sorry you took it that way.

russell IS terrorizing the people in the house...he picks a new person to terrorize each week...he then follows them around the house screaming at them, threatening them and calling them names...does that make him a terrorist? well, terrorism is defined as: the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes...AND...a terrorist is: a person who terrorizes or frightens others.
so yes, russell is being a terrorist. chima isn't making a racial comment. please, after how much she freaked about it last time, i cannot believe that she is attacking him based on his race. stop being such alarmists.

I've spent the afternoon trying to catch a lizard in my bedroom. Part of me wanted to allow it to stay, because in this heat (triple digits) some of the scary spiders come in for cooler temps, I thought perhaps the lizard would eat them. However, I don't think the lizard measured longer than one and a half inches and really, what size spider would he/she actually eat.
So, if I hadn't caught the lizard, it would have been a sleepless night with my cat Charlie hunting it to reward me with his typical legless, tail-torn trophy.
I feel awkward when Russel and Chima fight, I can't imagine being present without coiling into fetal position. I felt bad for Jordan and Lydia, seemed like they didn't know what to do with themselves.
Predictably, Nat stood there grinning. It's a sure adrenalin jump for her.
I wrote cbs this morning. I personally don't wish to see Chima stage a fit. My nephews like this show with me, and my sister is about to use the parent trump card and pull their viewing privileges if one more scene like Ronnie's and Chima's outbursts occur. She says it's family prime time and cbs isn't doing their obligation to provide family viewing. If Chima does as she threatens, I'd have to agree with my sis and unite with her in explanation to the boys.

June, just caught up. I'm not a Southerner either, I'm a Bostonian PREVIOUSLY an NY'er ironically enuff, Long Island for many years. So we're just as bad at having "our hackles up" or claws out thinking the worst of people. I have said it time and time again, I dislike most people before I like them, so I am very guilty of that behavior..........
However, I meant what I said, if I ever refer to anyone as "hun", or sometimes i think I use "sweetie", those are as transparent as possible for me, they are meant as they are said when they leave my lips, it's a simple term of endearment. For me personally, sometimes I use it to show "hey, no malice intent here if we're about to disagree with one another", cause it's difficult to convey tone and/or emotion on a computer screen.
But no worries, as I said, I don't need to use any terms of endearment of any sort going forward when addressing you.........it's not a must have and quite frankly, I would need to mean it anyway..........

nyc gal, this one is a no win situation. Of course Chima isn't calling Russell a terrorist literally. I seriously doubt she thinks he has any suicide bombing in his life plan. And he is terrorizing the house, in a sense.
But the word has such specific connotations these days, and she is perfectly aware of that - which is why she picked it. She picked the most inflammatory word she could and knows it has racist implications.
Is Chima a racist? Who knows. Is she using a word that we all associate negatively with race - absolutely and she is well aware of what she is doing. Is that fair game in BB and tit for tat for the despicable things Russell said? That is a matter of opinion I suppose. Neither one of them could be accused of being PC.
I know I wouldn't go down the road either of them has taken. But I wouldn't be on that show for all the money in the world.
I dont know what show ppl are or are not watching but Russell is not someone i would defend he hates women imo and still so many support him. Yes Chima words are wrong but he does terrorize the houseguest. I like Chima over him but they both can go.
