Big Brother 12: Andrew - Dead Man Walking??
This afternoon on the live feeds, Andrew renewed his efforts to stay in the house. He had a one-on-one in the hammock with Britney, which she subsequently reported back in detail to Kathy. He had a fleeting one-sided conversation with Enzo, and he touched on the subject of talking with Lane, but hasn't actually executed that yet. The point, however, seems moot, since Lane told Kathy at 4:36pm BBT, "You've got my vote."

Kathy: He told me at first, he was excited, but he wouldn't tell me what he was gonna do...
Matt: I was tryin' not to laugh.
Kathy: But I'm glad it happened, 'cause now we know.
Matt: Made my job easier, if there's a tie..
Kathy: Brendon's already told be he's votin' for him. Told me not to even bother him.
Matt: Are you in the mode of voting for them, if they're up next week.
Kathy: Oh, definitely. The thing is, we both said together that we're not gonna campaign against each other.. He told Britney that I was goin' after her, and she told me, and begged me not to say anything to him.. It's really hard for me not to.
Matt: I think people are probably pretty honest with me...
While Kathy's upstairs securing her place as the chosen pawn of BB12, Andrew's in the backyard watching the Golf Hockey match between Lane and Hayden.

Enzo: I have no idea how to play golf. It looks fun, plus you get to dress up nice.
Andrew: It's all about the cama-cama-camaraderie with the guys.
Enzo: Plus, you have to be a senior citizen, unless you're Tiger Woods.
Andrew: That's another good sports question! Has Tiger won a championship yet, since the incident?

Matt: Do you think there's a possibility Rachel would do a voluntary leave, if he gets kicked out? That would save us another week... She told Julie Chen... Then she told me and Britney, she would pick Brendon over half a million dollars.
Kathy: She said she'd go crazy..
Matt: She could save us a double eviction week.. We just have to goad her enough.. Get in her head and she'll f'in freak out.
Kathy: Cuz she's always, he's so awesome, hes so awesome.. I'm so sick of hearing it. You've got a great point, Matt. That would be awesome.
Talk turns back to the vote. Matt tells her she's safe, but also that he's not going to give Andrew a heads up, because he doesn't want him torturing everyone... Then they move on to some more Brendon/Rachel bashing... or, she does anyhow.

BB: Houseguests, this is a lockdown, please go inside and lock the sliding glass door.
Matt: Inside? Oooh.. maybe a luxury comp... it's way too early to lock down from HoH.
Kathy: Well, this is good, because they'll see me come down from up here, and I'll tell him I'm toast, period. I'm just gonna just say, ya know...
Matt: He asked me 5 minutes after that thing on the couch, and I was thinking to myself, why are you even bothering me?
Kathy: He's such a schemer.. What a little schemer... I'm glad people know now.
Matt: I can't believe he lied with them... They're all kinda on the chopping block.
Kathy: They put themselves there.
They're watching the spy screen...
Andrew's at the door.
Matt: Visitors... Any idea what the lockdown is?
Andrew: I don't know if it's relative to the lockdown, but we saw 6 or 7 apache helicopters fly overhead right before the lockdown...
Andrew leaves.
Kathy: That was perfect. Cuz they're probably looking for me..
Kathy and Matt decide the story Andrew will be told, which is that he's fine... Watching the spy screen, Brendon and Rachel come into view, which sparks "Schemers," from Kathy.

After offering each other to smell one another, to see if they stink and need to shower, Kristen and Hayden talk a bit of game...
Kristen: Kathy said that she told Andrew that she told me to just give him my vote, because I'm so torn.
Hayden: I told him he had me too.
Kristen: But do you think everyone else is gonna vote to keep Kathy?
Hayden: Definitely.
They continue talking and flirting, then Hayden sneaks a little kiss...
Kristen: That's all I get?
Hayden: Yep.

Princess Britney and Yummy McPecs are preparing dinner, whilst talking to Matt about his upcoming birthday on Saturday. Britney wants to bake him a cake and plans on asking in the DR for Birthday goodies...

Kathy: Stupid people!
Ragan comes in a couple minutes later, and Kathy again shares her tale of Britney telling her that Andrew said she was coming after her, amongst other things... And how awful it is that he feels the need to make up lies and horrible things about her. Ragan tells her not to worry, no one's listening to him, and that her place in the house is secure.

Lane runs the idea about being nice to Brendon by Matt, as a way to keep himself off the block, and Matt says go for it, he's a nice guy, none of this is about that. Lane asks Matt about Ragan's plans for HoH, and is it true that Ragan wont put Brendon and Rachel up? Matt confirms and says he thinks Ragan will throw HoH anyhow... Further, Ragan's certain it'll be a pick two HoH, and he doesn't want to alienate himself from Brendon and Rachel by picking them to eliminate them...
Matt tells Lane about the torment the Widow Villegas into a DOR idea... as a way to save themselves from a double eviction week. He's not recommending nastiness, just gentle prodding about how lucky Brendon is to be on the outside now, and how tons of women must be all over him, etc.

Hayden: Do you think Andrew and Brendon are together?
Enzo: I don't know man..
Hayden is suddenly working for Andrew... and feeling Enzo out about it. Hayden says it might be a smarter idea to keep another big target in the house. Enzo's non-commital, saying they have til Thursday to make up their minds.
***It's definitely new hope, though.
I don't care if he is or isn't. I just hope that people.. People got no balls in here, man. Like Ragan was saying to Matt, I don't think I'd put Brendon and Rachel up, cuz I like them too much...
Hayden: Yeah, he's gotta go. No balls, man. Dude, I already puttem up once, and we saved them.
Enzo: I just wish they'd stfu. Yo, I just wanna talk about sports and hang out.. Not our education system..
Hayden: And politics..
Enzo: Alright, you know the f'in Fair Act Trade, or whatever, I don't f'in care...
Kathy comes outside... Talk turns to exercise plans for the night...

Hayden comes in to quiz Kathy about who she'd vote for to win the game, if she were in the jury house.
Kathy: Well, the only people I'm close to are you and Kristen...
Kathy says all the right things, and as I'm listening, I'm wondering if Hayden is remember what he told Rachel when she became HoH: "Watch out for the people who's behavior changes toward you." Hayden, when did Kathy become y'all's BFF?
He leaves her saying that she's safe, but as far as Andrew thinks, he has both his and Kristen's votes, and to keep on letting him think that.
In light of the conversation Hayden just had with Enzo, it seems he's still quite open and struggling about who to keep.

Hayden's outside too.
For a little comic relief, Lane's teaching Rachel how to swing a rope... After 2 or 3 tries, she successfully ropes the elliptical. She wonders if she could do a moving object. Lane tells her to try roping the giant vase first.
They guys are having a laugh at Enzo's expense. He tried and it was not pretty. Rachel takes the vase down in nothing flat. She's pretty jazzed about it. Hayden and Lane are encouraging her, telling her how addicted she's going to get to roping...
7:52pm BBTTalk turns to working out... Friendly chatter between Lane, Hayden and Rachel, while Hayden stretches out and Lane messes with the rope... Hayden's telling about Football workouts that make you puke.
Brendon comes outside. The guys tell him about Rachel's roping prowess. She's pissed off at him, because of an earlier conversation about prenups. Rachel goes inside.
Brendon: We had an argument about prenuptial agreements... She took it personally.
He explains to the guys... They commiserate.

Chatter about relationships: The young women in the house already have very clear ideas about what is and isn't acceptable behavior from a guy. This leads to talk about texting and voicemail etiquette... All of them hate excessive behavior in that area.

Kristen comes out with a glass of wine.
Brendon returns to the backyard and rejoins Rachel on the double chaise...
Brendon: You don't think it's more weird if I'm walking around alone.
Rachel: I'm mad, and I want you to leave me alone right now.
Brendon: If you're upset about something, I want to talk about it.
Rachel: It has nothing to do with the prenup.
Brendon: What's going on then? I'm confused. Come to the Hammock with me. Am I not worth...
Rachel: Oh my G-d, Brendon..
They cross to the Hammock.
Brendon: I'm not walking away from you.
Rachel: Brendon, do you not understand. Sometimes, you just need to give someone a little space. I said I don't want to talk about it right now, and you're forcing an argument in the middle of the big brother house with a ton of cameras..
Brendon: A prenup is not that important to me..
Rachel: It's not the prenup.
Brendon: Then explain to me. I believe in love. I believe in romance. I'm completely over being burned. I'm ready to give someone else a chance. I wanna know you better. You walked out on me twice.
Rachel: I would really appreciate it if we could discuss this at another time and date.
Brendon: And just go on and pretend nothing's wrong? If you think I'm selfish, you don't know me.
Rachel: Apparently I don't. Why can we not just drop it right now?
Brendon: It bothers me that you're so concerned about this game. You told me you'r ein love with me.
Rachel: That's what you told me too, but then you totally contradict yourself inside... And it's selfish for you to discuss these things with such passion and emotion in front of me, and the entire house.. I walked away, because it was upsetting me.

Brittany is still catty in a different way without Monet, and she latches on to the guys.
If they do bring back a HG, I dont think they would vote for Annie, b/c they would be afraid of whatelse she would do.

Why can't she be a chameleon and become the game the others seem to be playing?
When she doesn't play, the comments seem to be against the way she's playing.

This is the game of whom is the best liar, not who has the best character and morals.

I don't think this is the end of BB, but I've never seen a BB where practically no one has a favorite at this point in the game. This season just seems to be to worried about what America thinks and afraid to make any big moves.
Someone said it earlier that AGP needs to do something and I totally agree- and it needs to be quick!
I will always watch because I love this show - but I, along with alot of others, are having a hard time with this cast.

Kathy has benefited from whatever Andrew did during the POV ceremony. I can't wait to see that tomorrow. Rachel did not know what Andrew was going to do, and Brendon found out only a few minutes before the ceremony, so I have to believe that Rachel's reaction was real. However, all the other HG's think it was fake. Such irony!!! If Andrew just would have kept his mouth shut, Kathy would be looking like a real fool to the rest of the HG's. I loved when Enzo made fun of her when she went up to use the HOH bathroom. There would have been more of that. I still think Andrew will use his ace in the hole, the Kristen and Hayden showmance, to get back in the game. If that backfires, he will out them when he is evicted, or maybe he is just not smart enough to do any of it.

IMO, part of Andrew's problem in what seems to us that he is not trying hard is most everyone has him believing they are voting for him. He also doesn't seem to have very good social skills. And, really this game is a based a lot on social skills. So, in order to secure the votes w/ ppl he isn't sure about he doesn't know how to approach them & when he does he makes it uncomfortable for himself & them.
Anyone hear from Toni lately? She was supposed to be in the hospital until today or tomorrow from what I remember.

I have been wondering why I was so disconnected from this season to the point that I am hardly even watching the feeds...then someone earlier hit the nail on the head. This cast is boring and so full of themselves that noone is going out on a limb to really shake up the house. Matt's hoh this week was a total waste and it's ridiculous that the bro's haven't taken him to task for that. And now they all feel they are doing themselves a favor by keeping Kathy and voting out Andrew. Wow...like what has Kathy done but kiss up to those in power week after week. Even though I am not a fan of the Brendon-Rachel showmance on a personal level...at least they are actually playing the game. Most of the rest of them are happy to let someone else do the dirty work to the point that if something isn't done by production, a lot of us may simply lose interest on this season altogether. The good thing though...since this is easily the #1 bb site I am sure that the whole big brother crew checks in here and sees how us...the paying public are feeling about what's going on and frankly not going on that maybe a new twist will really come along to throw everyone...including us for a loop.
Goooooooooooooooooo Andrew....get up in Kristen and Hayden's grill and let them know that you hold the cards to their future and they had better do everything they can to keep you safe this week or you are going to out them like Rachel was not able to on your way out the door.
And erm...who couldn't see through Kathy and the "game" she is now playing....dohhhhhh the houseguests...especially the bro's. It's ok to make fun of her but keep her in the house for the wrong reasons....sheesh I should have sent in that application after all....lololol.
BTW... Ragan please wake up and smell the coffee...those boys...except maybe Hayden do NOT respect anything about you and will kick you out as soon as they get a chance...cuz whether he likes it or not...they are just a homophobic as many of the guys on bb in the past....so sad to see and say but so true.

To me, it seems Hayden's leaning back toward Andrew, but still struggling a bit with his decision.
I'm so happy to see that there is still a glimmer of hope for Andrew!!! I wanted to like Kathy and at the beginning of the season I did, but now that she's on the block there seems to be an ugly side to her. I know she's a sheriff and survived cancer, but she's making it hard to find anything likable about her.
Kathy is the biggest hypocrite...I hope she goes. She's shown her true colors so far this week, and it's sickening.

I'm so utterly shocked by Kathy. I never cared for her before but it just amazes me the way the worm has turned. A few days ago she was giving a speech about being noble in the game. As soon as the truth sets in that she's on the block and she won't be leaving the block before the vote her attitude takes an immediate 180. She is catty as heck and throwing people under the bus left and right. During this week she's been more ruthless than ANYONE else in the house.
I can't respect that. It's like the Dr. Will theory. I have no problem with people pulling out all the stops and to verbally destroy others in an act of self-preservation. But just be truthful about being a liar, you know? I can't stand people who preach one second and do the opposite the other.
I don't want to run anyone through the mud but man... Kathy's attitude just makes my skin crawl.

I agree with many of you that I don't have any faves yet. I find myself just watching with no real attachments- which is odd for me. I guess I kinda like Kristen and Hayden b/c of their hidden showmance. I also like Lane's funny comments and Britney's sarcasm. Not sure if that will turn into me actually cheering for any of them.
Also, anyone else remember the lasso task on Amazing Race this past season? It was way harder than it looked. Maybe BB is picking up on that. Hmm...
