PoV Ceremony Results & Aftermath
Good Afternoon, BB Lovers!! :0) After a non-stop morning on the live feeds, the PoV Ceremony began at 11:37am BBT. At the moment, we await their return, and once they do, we'll start updating again! That's how this works. ;)
Because Brendon is still in possession of his faculties, we fully expect him to elect to NOT use the Veto... Doing so would be ridiculously stupid.

Kristen: My outlook's a lot different now. That's all I can say. The game begins NOW.
Ragan: I definitely walk away with more questions than answers.
Kathy: All I can say, y'all... I wanna stay.
Kathy goes inside. Hayden joins Ragan & Kristen on the couch. Lane hops on the elliptical.
Hayden: You guys mind if I join you?
Ragan: It's one of my dreams, actually, but I'm in the middle...
Ragan: I have strong calloused hands. I can massage you and give you a back scratch at the same time.
Hayden: That is a dream come true.
Ragan: I have 3 big question marks right now.. about claims that have been made over the 1st 3 weeks... and I have no clue if these 3 specific claims are real...
Kristen: Do you mean it's insinuated?
Ragan: Or like reactions... Thing is, without these 3 pieces, it makes it very difficult to see the bigger picture.
Hayden: You don't wanna share?
Kristen: No.. I have the same thing..
Ragan: No.. It's just that if I had these 3 it would be easier to tell what is truth and what is fiction.
Hayden: Right now, the house is beginning to divide. Obviously.. I can't even say obviously, because Andrew just said he's coming after Brendon and Rachel, but was that just to try and get votes?
Ragan: It's a puzzle.
Kristen: All I can say is go with your gut. My gut tells me something.
Hayden: I love Andrew.. I love Kathy too.
Ragan: These next 3 days are so important to collect information.. to talk to everyone..
Kristen: It's like, the game begins this week. It's on.
Ragan: I think even before.
Kristen: Definitely, but right now it's in our face... I could go punch a tree right now. I honestly could too.
Ragan: Mother, mother, mother, mother... Were you up there talking to Matt?
Hayden: No, I think Britney is.
Kathy returns... Ragan compliments her on her speech..
Kathy: That's just me. I saw through the other though.
Rachel comes out and sits on the couch.
Rachel: Kathy, I wanna thank you for being sincere.
Kathy: I'm just bein' me.
They all talk about how that was the weirdest speech... and apparently Andrew said, I'd love you to use the PoV on me, even though I'm coming after you.
Talk turns to Mike O, the challenge guy, and we go to bubbles...

Matt's giving Andrew a heads up that Kathy's been working hard, and he needs to get out there and start telling people he wants their votes.
Matt tells Andrew he's been playing devil's advocate with people, and he's telling him all the arguments he's been using with people, to give Andrew some ammunition...
Andrew: Kathy's not going to be a target in a few weeks, but I will. That's hard for me to sell. Please just keep your ears out for me to show me you do care.
Matt: This whole conversation has been that. Just get out there, because she is, and people are really noticing that. Also, keep very close to Kristen, because she's almost like the point person between you two. I think more people are talking to her than me...
Talk turns to the PoV Ceremony antics and Rachel's reaction...
Andrew: She's an actress. I can't stand her.
This talk is ongoing, and very worthwhile catching the whole thing on flashback. They are both extremely fast talkers, and I'm having a bit of trouble keeping up at the moment.

Kristen is now completely convinced that Andrew's speech about going after Brendon was bs, because of Rachel's overblown reaction, and she's saying as much to Matt.
Matt: You think that when she did that she really thought she was being helpful to their cause?
Kristen: Yeah. Both of em.
Matt: What was his?
Kristen: Just calm.. no reaction at all...

The house is on FIRE!! Rachel's reaction to Andrew's speech has thrown everyone for a tail spin. The feeds are jumping in all over the place, so I will recap.
- Kristin is talking to Matt outside. Kristin believes that Rachel's reaction to Andrew's speech was fake and convinced her that there is something between the pair and Andrew. Matt is still trying to put out the fires raging against Andrew. ( Cam 3 & 4)
- Enzo, Hayden and Lane are off the Andrew bandwagon and planning on voting him out.
- Kathy is up in HoH with Ragan, sharing her sad story. Talking about having to take care of her son and her grandmother. Her cancer. She isn't pulling out any stops. Ragan tells her that what she has going for her is that she is a sincere person. Ragan also makes it clear that he won't be turning against Brendon and Rachel because they have been there for him. (1: 08 - ongoing, off and on Cam 1 & 2 )
- Britney is taking this opportunity to drive home the idea that Andrew needs to go this week. Andrew comes in and Britney says, "Kudos to Andrew for keeping things exciting."
- Andrew quickly jumps into the Taj Room where Brendon and Rachel are snuggled, despite their morning discussions about not doing that and joining the rest of the house. Andrew gives Rachel a kiss on the cheek, and says, "They think you overplayed it." (1:16 PM BBT Cam 1 & 2)
- Brendon goes out to the kitchen where Enzo and Hayden are, trying to throw everyone off the scent by saying that he thinks Andrew is gunning for them because Rachel was thinking of putting him up. (1:18 PM BBT Cam 1 & 2)
- Enzo has a quick pow wow with Lane in the Cabana Room. He is ticked off at Kathy who "threw them all under the bus" by saying. "don't use the PoV on me because they will use it to back door Rachel." (1:32 PM BBT Cam 1&2)
- Kathy comes downstairs after her long "sincere" talk with Ragan upstairs, hugs Kristin and whispers in her ear, "Be careful of Ragan. He's with them." (1:36 PM BBT Cam 3&4)
- Matt and Ragan are on HoH. Ragan tells him that Andrew's speech was not only designed to throw everyone off his alliance with Brendon and Rachel but it was a dig against Matt. Matt says, "Okay. Let's get him out.... I would be curious however if she, by act of G-d, who she would...." Ragan says he is 100% sure Kathy will be going after Brendon and Rachel. (1:38 PM BBT Cam 1 &2)
- Kristin and Hayden are talking in Taj Room. Kristin is telling Hayden that she's convinced that Andrew is with Rachel and Brendon and that changes things. (**So much for her being so tight with Andrew...) Kristin: Even though I keep my word 99.9% of the time... This gives me an excuse to go back on my word and keep Kathy. Kristin is convinced that she can trust Kathy. (1:40 PM BBT Cam 1&2)
- Up in HoH Enzo is telling Matt and Ragan that he thinks it's suspicious that Brendon didn't react to Andrew's speech saying he would go after them. (1:50 PM BBT Cam 3&4) Ragan leaves, and Enzo calls him a "creeper". Enzo: I don't think it was staged, but we can use it as an excuse to get rid of Andrew. They decide there is no reason to keep him even if he is going after them. There are plenty of people who are after them (B&R)... Matt is pushing the idea that keeping Andrew in the house leaves another target in the house after Brendon is evicted, keeping the Brogade safe...
- Matt is doing his utter subtle best to turn the tide away from Andrew, and save him with Enzo and now with Hayden. (2:05 PM BBT Cam 1&2) Hayden is pushing the idea that they (Brendon, Rachel & Andrew) are in an alliance. Talk turns to Rachel's reaction. Matt is saying it was over the top, but possibly not fake. He tells them about Rachel telling Andrew that she would be gunning for him. He questions whether is was part of the set-up. Matt: They could be another Brigade running around the house... Hayden is pushing for Andrew to leave... They want to watch those three closely to try to figure out the truth.
Matt: If they're not in an alliance, it would be a huge mistake to get rid of him.
Enzo: I think they were in alliance and now he is desperate.
Hayden: I think they are in an alliance and that was an attempt to throw the house off.
Enzo tells them that Andrew pulled him into the storage room and was adamant about not being an alliance with them.
Enzo: Kathy is worthless.
Hayden: She's worthless but she's not a threat.
Matt: But keeping him keeps one more target in the house.
Brendon comes in... They question him about whether he will be voting for Andrew.
Brendon: It's hard because he openly stated he was against us. But on the other hand it goes against what we have been saying which is to keep the competitors in the game. People are coming after us anyway...
Enzo: Play and play hard...
They go on to make fun of Kathy's speech and blow some smoke up Brendon's shorts.
Brendon: It's hard to see Rachel upset.
Enzo: Yeah, Rachel was totally upset...
Hayden: So next week, would you go after Andrew?
Brendon: It would go against...
Matt: Would you put up Kathy?
Brendon: Is she stays... I love Kathy to death but keeping her sucks too. Whenever there is a Have/Have not competition, we look to see what color she's picked up...
Brendon is pushing his get-rid-of-the-floaters agenda, so that in the end there are only competitors left and may the best one win...
On and on it goes... the rinse and spin cycle...

Andrew is explaining his motivations for his PoV speech. He is also pushing the idea of competitors over floaters. Ragan is listening but saying little which is unusual for him.

Kathy is whispering with Rachel trying to convince her that she doesn't have the votes. She asks Rachel how Brendon is taking it. Rachel says he is mad at Andrew. Kathy tells Rachel that Kristin is undecided.

Rachel: I was shocked! I mean nothing should shock me, but I was shocked! I was shocked that Matt didn't put us up...
Ragan: I'm sure it was super awkward for you.
Rachel: Annie did it, and now again. It's non-stop. Brendon's been a have not for two weeks. I feel like if we make it another week it's a shock. Whatever. It's a game. It is what it is. I'm glad I met Brendon. I'm not going to give up.
Ragan: You shouldn't
Hayden: No.
Rachel: Andrew better watch his back. I say bring it on.
Matt and Brendon come down from HoH. Others walk through. Ragan goes outside, leaving Hayden and Rachel. Kathy walks through.
Hayden: She's sweet.
Rachel: She's very sweet.
Hayden: She's a sweet woman... What are you going to do?
Rachel: I'm going to fight. I'm going to fight harder. Bring it on.
Hayden: If you need to talk to anyone other than Brendon. You've got me. (**In other words if you get HoH. don't put me or Kristin up...)
Rachel: I appreciate that.
Hayden: Anytime.... I still can't believe that.
Rachel: Me either.
Hayden: It made me laugh... but I felt bad laughing.
Rachel: It's funny but... the thing that sucks for us. It's that we want to play the game with competitors not people who are floating... I love it when people say they are coming after me, because then, I can go after them...
Hayden: Yeah.
Rachel: The only week we were safe was when I was HoH. And that people pissed people off.... How about you? Are you and Kristin getting close?
Hayden: I like Kristin a lot. But no showmance... (***Lalala)
Discussion winds down. As Hayden goes outside, Rachel thanks him.

Matt is filling Ragan in on his conversation with Brendon Ragan is telling him about his conversation with Andrew. Ragan is not buying it, saying it would take a lot to change his mind (about keeping Kathy). Brendon comes out to sit with them, following through with his morning plans with Rachel to stop game talk with his presence. Mission accomplished. Game talk turns to chit chat.
Brendon goes in the kitchen to grab a snack where Andrew is fixing something to eat. They don't talk but Andrew motions that someone is listening in the direction of the bathroom/cabana room. Brendon goes back outside where the conversation is about baby food and helicopters... (**Sing along with me. Raindrops and roses, and whiskers on kittens....)
Andrew comes out to join them.
Brendon, Ragan, Matt, Hayden and Andrew have an extensive discussion on A-list versus B-list actors.. Character versus type actors... Meryl Streep versus Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson....

Andrew: I said I was coming after them just like Matt did. She started crying like a baby. It's ridiculous.... When you go up there, you put up the couple... We got to win HoH this week. It's gotta be done.
Hayden: It has to.. I talked to Rachel and Brendon a little bit today. I really like them. Gotta respect them. (**In other words, put in a good word for me to your alliance...)
Andrew: There's no question. They're a strong couple... You guys tell me. I thought that was the plan.
Hayden: That's the majority of the house that's the plan.

Reinforcing that the Brogade needs to win HoH. The plan seems to be sticking toward getting Andrew out. Matt asks Hayden that if Lane and Kristin get put up, and one of the Brigade wins the veto, would he want to go up so that he doesn't have to vote against her? Hayden thinks that it's a good idea.

Kathy: She walks in the kitchen. She says, I guess it's a done deal. You have Hayden, Kristen, Enzo.... I know you're close to Kristin. She (Kristin) said that she is as close to you (Kathy) as Hayden.
Hayden: I did tell her this. So what?
Kathy is saying everything she can to pulverize Rachel under the tires of the bus... Please see previous transcriptions because they are in the rinse cycle... She believes that Matt is with them because he didn't put them up.
Kathy: It's like you're surrounded by snitches... (***Biting my fingers. Biting my fingers....)
Rachel comes in.
Rachel: Heyyy!
Kathy and Kristin (coldly): Hey.
Rachel: Are you okay?
Kathy: Yeah. I'm just sitting here. How do you feel about what Andrew said?
Rachel: I'm pissed but now I have to laugh about it. What can you do?
Kathy: I mean... what is Brendon thinking.
Rachel: I mean if someone says they are going to come after us... it would be stupid to keep him.
Kathy: Hayden and Kristin are torn because they have two friends on the block.
Rachel: I mean everyone has friends on the block. Everyone will have friends on the block. It's important to think strategically...
Rachel goes into the bathroom. Kathy starts on a smoke screen speech directed 100% toward Rachel.
Kathy: I know you and Hayden are torn. I realize that you have two friends on the block. Just make whatever decision you need. I'm not going to throw Andrew under the bus... (**Already done.) I know it's been thrown around that I'm a weak player, but I've been sick. (**Wah wah wah...)
Rachel comes out and tells Kathy she has her vote and she is rooting for her. She leaves them to talk and they start trashing her...

Rachel: How do you know Andrew won't backfire?

Rachel: I know the way I am. I can't vote to keep someone here who is a D-bag.
Brendon: Who has convinced you? Kathy? Britney?
Rachel: I have my own mind.
Brendon: Enzo and Britney are together.
Rachel: They're not.
Brendon: They were sitting outside together all afternoon.
Rachel: So were Britney and I. We aren't together.
Brendon: If we vote out Andrew. It's one step closer to them... (getting us out).
Rachel: I don't even feel like I can trust you when you and Andrew have a plan without my knowing.
Brendon: I told him to tone it down after he acted so happy when you won HoH... The one person I don't want turning against me is you... He threw a PoV so I could win it. The reason he did that is because he knows that after I go, he's next. (** Brendon... That makes no sense. Andrew is in peril of going now if he stays on the block. The reason presumably Andrew threw the PoV was to protect Brendon whom he knew would be a renom.)
Rachel: After you go, I would go next.
Brendon: It doesn't matter... He would go next.
Rachel: How can he be allied with us when he verbally attacks us...
Kathy comes out.
Kathy: I'm sorry about what Andrew said...
Brendon: It's okay. It's how he is. He says things like that sometimes.
Brendon goes inside and Kathy tells Rachel to talk to her. (**Please Rachel don't tell her.)
Kathy: He doesn't agree with you?
Rachel:It's not that.
Kathy: We're friends Rachel. (**Erm. Protect me from friends like you...)
Rachel: I know we're friends...I think Andrew is so stupid.
Kathy: I don't know where that came from and I don't know why he said it...
Rachel: It's not like it's the first time...Every week someone says it... I'm going to go lay in the hammock before I say something I shouldn't... (**Good girl!)
To sum up. Andrew is still in danger...

Andrew has, has to step up his game a little....or maybe he is hoping that Kathy will do herself in, as Annie did. Who knows what is going on in Andrew's mind?
Personally, I think his strategy is to make as many people as he can think he is with them. He doesn't talk much to anyone--therefore, he has very little chance of getting caught. He probably doesn't know himself who he is really with and he won't make a decision until he is forced to.
There is no doubt in my mind that if he stays, he will go after Matt. So I am really pulling for him to stay!

I got caught up only now on the Blog Posts and comments. I had so many quotes to pull but the one above had to be my first one. Now I can't go back and find the others I found so funny from the HG's.
And tons of comments I wanted to come back to, but brain is still frazzled and I'm not speed reading today. I killed too many brain cells Saturday night. I remember some of them but not who said them. If I try to go back I won't be around again until Late Night With LessBot.
(I'm calling all our hostesses bots now because they have to have something, maybe a 'brain chip' to be able to do what they are doing. CaroBot, GenBot and LessBot are all 3 amazing!)
Talk in the comments about brain smarts vs. street smarts is so very true. And it's historically correct. Most of our true geniuses had none and had no social skills either.
But we have a crazt mix in the BB cast this year. We have Mensa to totally clueless idiots. Not naming the idiots by name but they are two completely out of the loop buffons. I would rather refer to them as Dumbest and Dubester.

I ♥ Regan for his wit. I am going to feel badly for him and cry with him when he realized how he is being used by Matt.
I find Matt's sense of humor funny but I despise what he is doing, using Regan.

Generally people that have very high IQs score high on the logical side of their brain and are considered to be geniuses.
People that score high on the creative side of their brain are usually looked at as being of average or normal intelligence. But from these people we get a lot of our great artists-that includes actors.
I thought Matt was doing a terrible 'acting' job since the beginning. Rachel and Brendon need to stick to their science. I consider the 'average' people like Lane to be much smarter when it comes to the way they act in this house than any of the geniuses.
Okay, watching Jeff on ATWFF makes me realize just HOW MUCH Brendon is a wanna be!

From the feeds, my head is spinning because I am afraid to miss a single second it looks like Rachel's dramatic acting or lack thereof has sealed Andrew's fate and not in a good way for Andrew. Given that Matt really thinks he has Brenchel's vote in the jury (because Matt knows he is going to final two, lol)it will be interesting to see if he damages his standing with the Brogade trying to get them to keep Andrew. If Andrew leaves then next obvious noms have to be Brenchel unless one of them wins HOH.

Genie, the sleuth has been all over the spider web and the only mention I can find about sequester comes from blog sites who claim they had to switch from telephone interview to email interview. I do think Matt has a wife that truly exists. I also think she is aware of the lie because of the way she worded the letter. It led everyone to believe she was feeling better & others were taking care of her. Which only helped his lie.
IMO, Brenden is not a Jeff wannabe. He is a nice looking guy & has similarities to Jeff's look & I think CBS cast him for that very reason because Jeff was so popular!!! But, I don't see him trying to imitate Jeff in any way.
Kathy has her game on! Looks like she has secured Ragan's vote. I have to believe her story because I just can't fathom it being a lie, would destroy my faith in my fellow man or something like that. I still wish both Andrew and Kathy could stay, now is the time for a whacky BB twist called Evict the current HOH!
My question is this: Why does no one in the house question Kathy turning against the people with whom she was inseparable last week when they had the power? Is that someone with "moral integrity"?
Genie, I know right. Kristen said something about how Rachel was ignoring Kathy but I kinda thought it was the other way around.
Genie, I think it is because she is saying that she is horrified (paraphrasing) that Rachel lied about the Britney and Kristen comment. And that lie spawned controversy and now she suspects other things Rachel has said including about gunning for Britney and Kristin and then add that Rachel has been ignoring her since Kathy went on the block. If nothing else Kathy has been consistent with this being the reason why she is now writing her tell all book.
Barbara - Kathy knows Rachel is not lying about Hayden and Kristin... She's playing the game, to take the heat off herself...
Genie, no one seems to ask those logical questions when people are being throw under the bus.

Genie, I know Kathy knows the truth about Kristen and Hayden, Andrew told her. I was talking about having heard her tell Kristen that she (Kathy) was not happy with the lie Rachel manufactured about Britney saying Kristen said she was going to vote to keep Monet. I also agree Kathy is desperate to stay so has clearly stepped up her game. What I really want to see is if Kathy has physical game.
Yeah, I'm not surprised Andrew's going to go. So far the ones I didn't want to leave are gone. So wish Annie would've stayed instead of Rachel!

What is wrong with these people?! Leaving bigger targets in the game is flawed reasoning in the sense that Chilltown made it to the end because people thought that everyone else would be going after them.

So basically, Rachel and Brendon are being straight with one another, and that's basically it at this point. I suppose the Brigade to an extent, but there is some distrust starting to grow there, although Enzo and Lane seem to be very much on the same page.

In my opinion, the best way for Brendon to keep Andrew is for he and Rachel to act like they are going to vote against him. If Brendon continues to say he is going to keep Andrew after what happened today, they will know they are together for sure!

I dont understand how these HGS have nothing to do but think all day and night, and cant seem to figure out what is going on!!! The guys in the "brogade" are always hanging out together and that is okay. Nobody can see or think that they have an alliance together? Hayden and Kristen end everynight in bed together and HG'S know it, but nobody thinks they have an alliance or say anything. Last week Kathy and Rachel were stuck like glue to each other, and everyone thought they had an alliance, but now this week Cathy and Kristen are stuck to each other like glue, is everyone thinking they have an alliance? No!!I just dont understand these HG's. So much is so in your face in that house yet they cant see it. They are just so fixated on Brendon and Rachel and getting them out they are truly losin. sight of the game, and could end up losing the game. Cathy needs to go this week just get her out before she ends up in the final 3
As much as I dislike Matt personally, I may have to start pulling for him because everyone else is so weak. Matt and Kathy are the only ones who have shown the ability to manipulate people in their favor. Brit has potential,but for some reason she thinks hiding behind lane and enzo is all she needs to do to win.

If Matt breaks the tie it will be in the direction the Brigade as a whole decide. They could try and rig a tie which would be tough but would also cause alot of confusion, but he's not gonna keep Andrew if the other three want him out and don't give in.

Oh, I do feel for them, it's a terrible position they are in constantly fighting for their lives in BB while others just lolly-gag around them. And, they have taken it a whole lot better than anyone we have witnessed so far that have had a target on their back except maybe Andrew. I just thought her statement was funny, when 1 second before she was whining & next second it doesn't bother her.
I haven't been paying attention and now I've caught up on Blog and Comments for the day. I'm DIZZY.

I really like Kathy and as of last night wanted so bad for her to stay, but now she has just burst my bubble of her not actually having the integrity she claimed to have. Guessing the idea of throwing people under the bus has a different taste this week than it did for her last week.
Kristen actually holds a bit of power, just one slip to anyone as to Kathy warning her about Regan... could tilt the scales.
If I were Rachel and wanted to make sure Andrew stayed, Id be seen talking to Kathy as much as possible... helping her fold towels... Id even pretend to be whispering to her every chance I got.
Even to look her way and slightly nod or wink after talking game to one of the others. Id make them so suspicious of a secret alliance.
But then again... like the HGs tomorrow Ill probably be on the other side of the boat rowing.
I hate to say it but Andrew needs to take a page out of Kathy's book and start some shit about HER being in an alliance with B/R. He can also say she's been lying to Ragan and that SHE's the one who started the Hayden/Kristin "showmance" rumor.

I am as confused as the HGs about who to trust and who is a liar, liar pants on fire.
If Andrew goes home, I would still like to see Rachel and Matt go the next 2 weeks. If Andrew stays, this is my newest dream scenario:
Andrew really does want to target Rachel and Brendon. If Andrew is loyal to R & B, I hope the rest of the HGs peg Rachel, Brendon, Andrew and Matt as a 4 person alliance (whether they are or not) and work diligently to get them out.
I hope Ragan figures out who he can really trust or decides to not really trust anyone.
I hope Ragan, Kristin, Enzo, Lane and Hayden make it to the end and whoever has been the least slimy at that point will get my vote. (My bet is that I will still be rooting for Ragan-everything else is subject to change).
So, from what I've read....Andrew really is with Brendan and Rachel and he's been lying/over-stating his hate for Rachel? Or (haha) is he lying when he kisses her cheek and plays nice?? I'm glad to see that those watching the feeds are just as confused as I am!
I know that most don't believe the 'life-long friends' but I'm wondering about Brendan and Andrew? Matt and Ragan? Both pair just seem so loyal and so mis-matched lol
