Late night on the Stock-ade...

...well then. It seems like as a result of the POV contest earlier, we've got four folks in stocks in the back yard - Rachel, Brandon, Lane and Monet... Check it out on flashback on the feeds! It begins at 11:20pm on July 17, 2010.




And they're "smizing" ala Tara. Rachel is enjoying herself, of course - and everyone is watching them, chuckling. They're talking categories - and Enzo suggests "things they want America to choose for slop.."

Rachel: Apple Pie and Appletinis!
Monet: Bratwurst and Bananas
Kathy: Banana BREAD.
Brendon: PASS.
Enzo: Cashew's and catfish
Kathy: coffee cake - no caramel!
Andrew: D. Devil dogs and danishes!
Ragan: Eggplant and Eggsandwich..
(someone did G - and I didn't hear it..)
Matt: F'in pizza and F'in cheeseburgers!
Enzo: Hot dogs and hickeys..
Andrew: hamburgers!
Britney: Ice cream and more ice cream...
Kathy: icing!
Britney: omg icing!
Enzo: Jerky and Jelly donuts..
Rachel: thanks for hooking us up Enzo!
Kathy: K - anything Kosher for Andrew
Andrew: And Ketchup for Enzo
Rachel: L - Lollipops and lemon jello
Monet: Meatloaf and Mozzerella cheese..
Brendon: Pass!

Rachel: put me on slop that week!
Matt: Tacos and Tortalinni!
Andrew: Unami (sp? Enzo says freshwater eel)
Kathy: Vegetables and Veal!
Britney: Watermellon and Wafers
Rachel: and weenies!
X... no one can think of anything, though there's a drink that starts with it.. Xion... and...
Britney: Go to y...
Monet: yogurt and Yams
Brendon: Pass
Matt: you suck, Brendon!
Britney: Zingers and Zebra cakes!
Rachel: We'll get fat that week!

They move on to doing Luxury items for the house - Brendon refuses to play, and says pass every time. General chitchat resumes...

Matt: I just got told that you have to keep your hands in the stocks or they'll start the whole hour over.
Rachel: can I still drink wine? My boa?
Matt: they didn't say anything about that. Best of luck to you all.
Rachel: Thanks Matt!

11:47 - Enzo and Matt head toward the bedrooms, Enzo has the hiccups.
Matt: I'm putting myself on the line for the brigade right now... if it works, we're golden, if it doesn't and I'm out.. oh well.
Enzo: We have to win next week..
Matt: We are. It's happening. I wouldn't do this if... We got to take control. Things are gonna turn around. You guys gotta get me, you gotta save my ass.
Enzo: F......k. This is...
Matt: How you think I feel?! I think I got Ragan though. If we break up Brendon or Rachel, Ragan is alone, one of them is alone, they'll come to me.

Enzo sticks his head out to hear who was in the kitceh
Enzo: Andrew's in the kitchen, he's always around that dude...
Matt: We gotta backdoor Brendon, that's it, it's done.
Enzo: She'll be a b**ch
Matt: Let her be... you guys just gotta have my back... We have to run this house... if I can convince Ragan not to put us four up... I can convince him. And I think Hayden can convince Kristen.
Enzo: We're good, I think we're good. That's it.

They head back out again...

Enzo: I think it's gonna be an early night, tonight, man.

-- apparently they have to do the stockades for the next four days

Inside, Andrew is cleaning off the stove, says it's disgusting and he wants to take care of it before bed. Enzo's drinking tea, Kathy's getting some coke... outside the stockaders and others are chatting off and on.



Lane keeps rocking his stocks, changing position. Brendon too . Rachel looks like she could stand there forever. Brandon is moving a lot too. Monet is steady.

***If these guys are smart, they'll note the way they're handling this & note it for a possible endurance comp...

Rachel spilled her wine, and Kathy goes in to see if she can get her some more - it's all gone.

Enzo asks Andrew what qualifies as Kosher - and Andrew shows them the symbol that lets him know...
Matt: Why's it so secretive?
Enzo: Is it a cult?
Andrew smacks him with the cereal box, and they all laugh.

Enzo: It's interesting to me..
Andrew: Something new, right?
Enzo: The guys with the curls on the side? What's the difference?
Matt: That's your dad?
Andrew: My brother - we have different ideas of how the extremes go.. some believe you're not supposed to cut it, which is why you curl it, because it's not supposed to go below the cheekbone...
Matt: you gotta keep curling it...
Enzo: Dedication
Andrew: ...means you're very strict.

Outside:
Brendon: This is Torture.
Lane: It's deadly.
Brendon: What if someone kept you like this for hours?
Lane: I'd be murderously mad - happily going to jail.

Lane: We could so get pantsed right now...

The girls, however, are still readysteadygo.

Inside:
Andrew: Lots of cultures, lots of beliefs...
Matt: Nobody's right or wrong..
Enzo: Lots of cultures that haven't been discovered too, maybe. Never know.

Britney comes inside and tells them outside it's 12:06 and they have about 15 minutes left. Enzo asks if she ever wore the necklace, he hadn't seen it, so she models it for him.

Enzo: Bling bling! Looks good on ya, you worked hard for it.

Britney hangs it up, and it dangles right by Annie's picture
Britney: Suck it Annie!

They talk about the pictures, then... how they don't look like each other now that they know each other- Lane is the farthest from the truth, they think...

Brendon's knees, wrists, back are hurting pretty bad... he keeps lifting the stocks - Lane tries it too, they are moving around a lot. They've worked the nails holding it down, almost free.

Brendon: There's nothing to make it better - I've tried.. there's nothing! Will you grab me if I fall over?
Rachel: Don't fall!

Inside, Britney tells them that she wanted to be a sports journalist... gives examples.. then..
Matt: She should be a commentator.. commenting Porn! You have the mouth for it!
Enzo: OOOOOOOOOOOH!
Britney: It's not that I have the mouth for it, but I can turn anything dirty...

12:15 Lavalamps! for a few seconds...

Brendon is really complaining.
Brendon: oooooooouuuuuugh. Oh my god...

12:23a - Inside, they pull Kathy into the memory wall pictures and try to figure out who would be taking home who... without thinking of the personalities...

12:24a - the bell rings again, and the boys jerk themselves out of the stocks with a grunt. Andrew goes and lets the girls out.

Rachel has four days - Lane only had to do one, so he's done.
Rachel: I have four, but I'm ok with that, cuz it's kind of fun! They throw these things at me and I'm like hell ya, bring it on!

Andrew says goodnight and heads to bed.

Kathy is headed to bed, Britney too. Brandon and Rachel head upstairs.

Trouble in Paradise

Brandon: I came up earlier and you were busy
Rachel: Oh, I'm sorry. Did that make you upset?
Brendon: It's the second snub tonight..
Rachel: (deeeeeep sigh)
Brendon: I'm sorry. I just.. I mean I asked if you want to go lay in the hammock, and you say... and then you tell me not to talk game to anyone, and you're talking to Ragan and Kathy for like an hour, talking game, then I come up here and you're like come back in 10 minutes.
--Lessa: Pouty McPouterton! Good grief.

Brendon: I made you dinner, and you didn't care. Asked you to the hammock and your like no.. and then you got upset earlier, you know... The whole thing was about me not saying anything about game - I guess this is like if your gonna make decisions and that's how it'll be, that's fine. I guess I don't feel like I'm part of it at all. It kinda hurts a little bit, yah. Makes me feel even more out of the loop. Maybe I'm not the greatest game player - if you don't want me to make decisions with you..

Rachel: Sorry.
Brendon: If you don't want me to make decisions with you, I won't. But it makes me feel sh*tty. If you feel I'm a liability to your game, that's fine too. We can be an alliance, don't have to be romantic, whatever. I've been down this path too many times before. I don't like it. I don't like being brushed aside. I'm sorry, I'm a baby. I told you I was sensitive. It hurt. Do you think I'm a liability to your game?
Rachel (sarcastically): Yeah, that's really what I think.

Brendon: I didn't come here to have a showmance. I came here to win too. Do you think I'm making bad decisions?
Rachel: Yeah. I do. You didn't listen to me and I tried to tell your your emotions were controlling you and you got mad at me..
Brendon: she wasn't..
Rachel: She tried. I think you need... It's gonna be really hard for us, and you need to be prepared for that. I'm not trying to be mean and a jerk - lets be honest. Right now we have like 3 people on our side we can trust and I don't know how long we can trust them.
Brendon: I don't even know what you're saying - you're talking to Kristen and Ragan, and I don't know what your saying. For all I know you could be backdooring me
Rachel: Are you kidding me?! Did that really just come out of your mouth?! Are you serious?!

Kathy comes in to put stuff in the bathroom..
Kathy: Looks like you're mad at each other when you sit that far apart.
Rachel: I know. He should sit next to me, don't you think?
Kathy: You ok?
Brendon: yeah. Sure.

Kathy leaves...

Rachel: The last thing we need is for people to think we're mad at each other. That's the worst possible thing.
Brendon: ok. I'll pretend everything's good. No one will know. We're in it. We can play this game. We can do what we need to do. That's fine. But... only way I can fake everything is if I know that's what you want.

12:42am - Meanwhile, downstairs, Enzo's telling Hayden about Matt's plan and such at the pool table. Upstairs...

Brendon: I'll fake it. Fake everything
Rachel: Fake what?
Brendon: Everything's good, we're happy.
Rachel: What are you trying to say?
Brendon: If you want me to play like we're together and everything's going good - obviously you don't think i'm a good player... so..
Rachel: did I say that?
Brendon: You just said, yeah, I made mistakes.
Rachel: you are... we have to think about what's gonna get us through this game! we can't do things like.. if someone volunteers to be a pawn we can't just go, ok cool!
Brendon: I thought we went through this!
Rachel: I told ragan because I didn't want him to be blind sided - I want him to be able tot alk to me and I'm gonna cause a lot of drama in the house tomorrow.
Brendon: ok. that's fine. I know you're in it to win it. I trust all your decisions. i'll bak you up, whatever you need. But I know that, like
Rachel: did you notice that Andrew's talking to Matt, Enzo and Britney ever since you told him that....
Brendon: I told him Matt's going up.
Rachel: When?
Brendon: Earlier. Whatever, I thought you wanted me to say that, so it's what I said. Whatever your plan is, I'm sure it'll be ok. If we're gonna try and have a relationship.. I like you - but i feel like.. i dunno, you don't respect me like a player, or.. I dunno. I feel like you think I'm making stupid mistakes.

Rachel: I'm not trying to turn on you or getting a big head because of the power. I'm doing everything to keep us through this game!
Brendon: I appreciate this. I think you know the game very well. I think you're doing an awesome job.
Rachel: I seriously like made dumb mistakes too. Like the whole POV thing today? I didn't think of it strategically enough.
Brendon: Neither did I..

Rachel: I know, none of us did - we have to remember not to get comfortable in this game. I know I have to think about it on a level of competitions, on a level of social game and mental game. I just need you to be on the same page as me - if it's my HOH week, you need to trust me that if I want to tell people, ok, if I don't.. ok. When it's your HOH week? I'll do the same for you. I'll be ok, you're the one who's making the decisions and I'll respect that. I need you to respect that for me too. I don't want people to think we're making deals with everyone.

Brendon: I know that...
Rachel: Strategic moves - like Matt wanting to go on the block and not have anyone know about it? I'm gonna cause so much drama, you will probably not even want to know it.
Brendon: You putting up Andrew?
Rachel: No. Not Andrew
Brendon: who?
Rachel: I don't know 100%. I'm not telling anyone.
Brendon: You told Ragan.
Rachel: No I didn't. I talked about it in general, and I said to him that these lines are being drawn in the sand? Who I put up tomorrow, the person I'm thinking of is gonna cause so much f'ing drama, especially on the other side of the house... we're gonna lose 4 people - but gain hopefully 7.

Kathy comes in - she's staying up there again, and Ragan's staying downstairs. Brendon asks if they can have a few more minutes, kathy says ok.

Brendon: ok. whatever you decide.

After a moment of silence.
Brendon: Alright. I'll pretend everything is good. I'll support whatever you want to do. I'm sorry. If you feel I'm a shitty player, that's fine.
Rachel: That's not it..
Brendon: Whatever, if you feel I'm gonna tell, it's fine. It's good. Whatever you want.
Rachel: Brendon, I am so.. like... distraught about this decision tomorrow? Because there's a few different ways it could go...

12:52 - meanwhile, downstairs, Kristen and Andrew are whispering - but I can't hear it and Brendon's whining at the same time - and when i flipped - cam goes to the Brigade at the pool table.

Back upstairs

Rachel: I can't have you against me
Brendon: I'm not! Now you don't trust me?!
Rachel: I felt like it was a breakup speech...
Brendon: You hurt me, that's it.
Rachel: Because I asked you to leave so Ragan and I could talk.
Brendon: Not just that! We had a long day, I made you dinner, you didn't want too.. I brought it out to you.. I wanted to hang in the hammock, and you were adamant that I not talk any game, and then you spent hours up here talking game. Like I'm not really a part of it, and I come up here thinking we have time, and you're with Ragan and you asked me to leave. I went to sleep, because I was hurt. yeah, I'm sensitive, maybe it's me being a baby.
--Lessa: Maybe?! Good lord. Someone cal the WAAAAAAAAAHbulance!

Brendon leans against her, and continues the whiny act. Rachel invites him to the hammock, assures him she really wants too. They head down.

Rachel: Brandon, please don't be sad. I'm sorry I'm mean.
Brandon: You're not mean. I'm sorry I'm sensitive.
--Lessa: I'm sorry all four feeds are now on this...

Brendon: I want you to be with me. I don't want to feel like this.
Rachel: I'm sorry I made you feel like this. It's not my intention at all.
Brendon: I know I'm oversensitive. It's just happened before.
Rachel: what? You met a cute redheaded chemist on BB?
Brendon: no. I fall for someone and everything comes up to easy, and then at some point I feel like I'm disappearing, fading into the background. I do like you. I just don't want to get hurt. So if you want out...
Rachel: Are you kidding me? You are so silly. I like you so much it's stupid. Brendon, you're like, perfect - every checklist of a person I'd want.
Brendon: Doesn't mean you have to like me because I meet your criteria.
Rachel: You make my heart beat faster, butterflies in my stomach, I look at you with googly eyes.
Brendon: that's all I care about. I don't want this stupid game to get in the way
Rachel: I'm not - that's what I'm trying to do! Make sure that whatever happens..
Brendon: Whatever happens, I want to be with you. If i leave tomorrow, I want to be with you. That's what's most important to me.
Rachel: We will be.
Brendon: yeah, I was here to win half a million dollars, but then i met you and that wasn't so important anymore.
Rachel: It's not even about winning or the money or anything.. it's trying to make sure we're gonna be here - I'm not fighting for anything but me and you!
Brendon: Just make sure that you want me here, not because you have too because I'm your alliance
Rachel: that's the stupidest thing ever.
Brendon: I'm a stupid corny romantic. I was just trying to make you a little happier today. I'm just.. too sensitive. I dunno.

Brendon: I just don't want you to think I'm stupid. That hurts.
Rachel: I know.

Brendon: I feel so f'ing stupid. I just cried on national television
Rachel: no one knew until you said something.
Brendon: There's cameras everywhere.
Rachel: I don't think they were zoomed in.
Brendon: I'd do anything for you.
Rachel: i'd do anything for you
Brendon: I'd go home for you.
Rachel: Brendon stop it.
Brendon: That's what I'd do for someone I'd care about. It just hurts when I feel like it's not the same.

Brendon: What do you want to do?
Rachel: Be with you.
Brendon: Are you sure?
Rachel: I was never not sure.
Brendon: I don't need to make decisions with you, I just need to be a part of all this
Rachel: I know.

Brendon: Put me up tomorrow....
Rachel: That's not even an option! It's not an option for us not to be together!
Brendon: I can't fake a romance..
Rachel: what are you TALKING about?
Brendon: Is it because we're stuck in this house...
Rachel: because I care about you... because I'm sorry that I might have been insensitive... I really like you a lot, I don't know why you would think anything else...
Brendon: I just felt brushed off today
Rachel: I'm sorry. I'll make sure I never do that again to you, ok?
Brendon: ok.

Brendon: I was gonna bring your food up to you too.
Rachel: I know.
Brendon: I was gonna put a flower in it too. I like you a lot. Too much for a game show.
Rachel: How much is too much
Brendon: I'm supposed to be disconnected...
Rachel: No. You just have to trust me.
Brendon: I do. Just remember we're a team.
Rachel: We are a team.
Brendon: Don't forget that. Include me.
Rachel: Brendon.
Brendon: Trust me.
Rachel: you are a part of my heart now. I can't let you go. I don't know why you can't understand that.
Brendon: It didn't feel like that today
Rachel: Just because one day, you can't be scared
Brendon: I am scared. I'll tell you that. Because I've been hurt.
Rachel: I'm not gonna hurt you. I won't hurt you.
Brendon: It's scary.
Rachel: I know.
Brendon: ...because I haven't know you very long. But I have very very strong feelings for you.
Rachel: I feel the same way.

Brendon: Trust me, and I know a little bit more now about not just talking to anyone, and I'm not gonna say anything to anyone until we get to talk first, all the time.
Rachel: Ok.
Brendon: If I have your heart, I can make it through anything. I'm not asking for it just yet.. but... keep that in mind. That's why it makes me scared. Because I shouldn't have strong feelings for someone I just met.
Rachel: Why not?
Brendon: It's not logical, it doesn't make sense.
Rachel: Nothing in our life makes sense right now, go with it. Expect the unexpected Brendon
Brendon: omg if you say that one more time today...

Brendon: I'm here for you, no matter what. I think you're brilliant, I don't think you'll make wrong decisions. Just respect me - if I make the wrong decision, tell me, but be respectful, and remember I'm trying. I want to keep us in this game as long as possible. Specially since I know you care about me, makes it all the more reason to stay in this game together.

Brendon: What's this crazy idea you have for tomorrow?
Rachel: Putting up Enzo.
Brendon: Oh my god are you gonna put up everyone I'm in the room with?
Rachel: I forgot you were in the room...
Brendon: Just put up all the have nots! Me next!
Rachel: I'm just kidding. I don't want to tell because I know they'll hear and I want it to be a secret. I don't want anyone to be ready for it to happen.
Brendon: ok.
Rachel: I'm just kidding, I'd never put up Enzo. That would be pretty funny though.
Brendon: F'in hilarious.
They both yawn...

OH! CAM CHANGE on F 3/4

Hayden's in the shower, Kristen's getting ready for bed, Enzo's on the couch - night time routines all the way around. Ragan comes outside and says he had a good long DR - and that he'd sleep with Rachel and Kathy upstairs.

Ragan joins them on the hammock.. Game talk!

Rachel: This is the hardest decision.
Ragan: Why is Matt talking like..
Rachel: I just don't like the whole blindsided part of the deal.
Ragan: It's weird. What's the point?
Rachel: If he's a pawn, I feel like everyone should know, it's obvious who I'm targeting. It's not a secret. I don't want the house split to be...

Brendon: What is your feeling about Matt?
Ragan: I'm wavering about this... I didn't put some of the stuff together until Rachel and I talked - it's brilliant game play, because then if the power shifts, he's still..
Brendon: In the shadows..
Ragan: He could be that B*** put me up...
Rachel: Yeah.
Brendon: he got really nervous when she won..
Ragan: because he'd heard that Andrew was saying he was the sabatour, he was like great, now he's gonna go up to them and be Matt's the sabatour. that's why he was nervous.
Brendon: was that legit?
Ragan: I don't know!
Brendon: I've wondered if he has an alliance with Enzo and Monet.
Ragan: I sensed that some people get in the game on day one lets do this together, and I feel like that was Matt & Enzo, and it's weird they don't hang out as much anymore, almost like... they'll know.
Rachel: ...and that's dangerous
Ragan: It's a little suspiciously attached. It's my only suspicion with Matt.
Rachel: I don't think they have anything with Britney and Monet... not yet. Good for him, Brilliant game play. I have to know that's what's going on - if the power switches, he'll be ' i was shocked!'.
Ragan: I think what can be done - you can force people to play their hands and pick a side.
Brendon: I'm watching Matt tonight - he's really trying to force his way into Lane and Hayden and trying to make connections that aren't necessarily there. might be setting himself up...
Ragan: It was Monet, Britney and Matt, when we came downstairs, and it changed into a conversation about fishsticks. And it was Oh Ragan, you're so cut, blowing smoke up my a**
Brendon: I think Matt has a deal with them
Rachel: I don't think there's a deal
Ragan: he's positioning themselves.
Rachel: I don't think they care if Monet goes - they're just going to use it to position themselves against me and Brendon.
Brendon: I don't think they'll try to hold on to Britney
Rachel: I don't think Britney's going anywhere anytime soon. I don't think we all will (paraphrase) but I don't think if Britney goes up next week, she'd go home.

Ragan: Ok, so how does putting Andrew up help the situation? How does it get the ball rolling faster? Get people out and playing.
Rachel: It gets people out and playing. Campaigning starts to get Andrew out.. whoever campaigns to keep Monet and Britney, that's the side they're on. We need five votes to get Monet gone. If you're right - and I don't tell Matt, he'll vote to send Andrew home.
Brendon: Kristen, Ragan, Me, Kathy... and Hayden. Hayden and Kristen have the same vote. Andrew would stay if you put him up. At this point, it's your best bet, pulls the rug out from under Matt, and the campaigning will happen like you said.
Rachel: If I put up Andrew - they'll campaign. And it takes the blood off our hands. We don't even have to campaign and takes the spotlight off our side of the house. We don't even have to say anything. They'd have to switch our votes, and we won't do that.
Brendon: They'd have to switch one of our votes, only one is Kathy
Rachel: Kathy isn't going to switch.

Ragan: I don't get why Matt would want to be with Monet..
Rachel: It's not Monet and Britney! It's Enzo and Lane. The girls are dead weight. Once the girls are gone, the guys will go after each other, and then Matt is in the middle...

Ragan: The only trap I see in this is.. I'm just not sold yet that Kathy is 100%. I'm just not.
Rachel: I know what you're saying. Kathy has told me that we have to get the drama out, the girls.
Brendon: Yeah, she's all about getting the girls out.
Ragan: After you got HOH? I'm just telling you...
Brendon: I don't think she's on that side... she doesn't do anything with them. It was Monet, but they burned her.
Rachel: She wants to be on the side that will protect her. Britney and Monet are the nerd herd.

Ragan: I think it definitely divides the house. The only danger is that Andrew is a vote, a number.
Rachel: ..and putting a number at risk.

1:47 - Kristen and Hayden are whispering in bed.
Kristen: I talked to Andrew too - I know he's not on anyone elses side.

Then it switches to Enzo and Lane whispering too. About needing to win HOH.
Enzo: If britney wins we're safe. She hates Andrew. They don't like Kathy, either.

Enzo goes to his room. Lane remains in his bed.

Outside - Ragan, Brendon and Rachel are still talking...

Rachel: If I put up Andrew - do I tell everyone he's a pawn, or let them do their campaigning?
Ragan: Say he's a pawn, please respect my wishes. USe what happened to him the first week to his advantage.

Rachel: She's gunning for Kristen big time. They'll put up me and Kristen and backdoor Brendon, or any combination of us three (paraphrase)

Matt joins them, and the game talk stops - he's saying goodnight, the others say they're gonna head to bed too. Hayden and Kristen are whispering in bed again...

2:00 AM ... and that's it for me, Dishers! It's bedtime for Lessa! Carolyn will catch everyone up on the Overnight Report when she gets here!
