Kristen: I'm sure he didn't say, don't use it on either of us... I have to figure something out.. even if it's her using me as a pawn. I have figure it out. I wanna figure it out now while my head's on straight. I could tell her she can use me as a pawn, whenever she needs to... That's a big deal.
Kathy: She's playin' on the wrong side, no matter what. I wonder how scared of Rachel she is.
Kristen: I'm sure she is.
Kathy: Cuz Rachel is pretty intimidating...
Kristen: You say the thing about Monet... I'll tell her no matter what, I will never ever put her up... What else can I say?
Kathy: She's gonna be scared to use it, no matter what...
Kristen: I can just tell her, she doesn't have to be scared, if I'm on her side, because I've proven that true. That's the one thing I have in this house, is that I'm not afraid of anyone.
Kathy: That's right.
Kristen: What other deals can I offer her... Does she really think that Brendon and Rachel are gonna protect her??
Kathy: They're out for their selves...
Kristen: And to add to everything, I can tell her, I only need to make it to next week. Put me up, do whatever you wanna do, I just need to make it to next week.

Kristen: Is there anything else you can think of?
Kathy: I think you just need to flat out ask her, does she have a deal with Rachel.
Kristen: Do you think I should talk to her now?

Kristen: It almost worked out, but again, it worked out the worst way possible.
Kathy's offering nothing in the way of suggestions... Likely because she feels she would be the likeliest replacement nom... and against Hayden, she'd go home.

Rachel: Anyone can say, Rachel won 2 HoHs, but they were stupid HoHs...
Brendon: You took it all the way to the end. The 1st one was mental. The 2nd one - you went up 5 times. You didn't just win. You f'in killed it. You and I are strong competitors, because we're adaptable. We just have to make it through a couple more weeks...
Meanwhile, down in the Taj, Kathy advises Kristen to talk to Britney outside, when there's no one else around, not even Enzo. Kristen says she will talk to Britney tonight. Then the Rachel bashing begins...

Well, I think it sucks that Hayden is on solitary confinement. I would like to see him be able to spend some time with Kristin since it's pretty much a done deal that they will be split up.
On the plus side, 24 hours without listening to Rachel, Brendon or Kathy. Hayden might be confused. He may actually think he won something.

And before you start hating on me I'm not saying that Brendon and Rachel don't deserve some too...
Britney winning could end up being verrrry interesting. If she uses it on Kristen, it could be brigade versus brigade. Also, if she uses it, she exposes to Brendon and Rachel that she is no more loyal to them than when they hated each other.
If she uses it on Hayden, Rachel will not put Kathy up because then Kristen will almost certainly stay and Rachel knows it... she would have to put up a brigade member and Hayden might not remain loyal to the alliance and even if he stays, the votes won't add up and we could see that "impregnable fortress" of an alliance crumble like the walls of jerico!!!

New Orleans is full of ghosts and I am very serious. A lot of weird things happen here... and a lot of Wiccan because New Orleans is on the 90° and 30° longitude and latitude line. I know the exact spot where it lies.
As for ghosts, I have never lived in any house or apartment here that is without at least one. And no I'm not crazy. OK, I take that back, but I have seen a few of them. Fortunately they have all been very friendly ones, not the kinds you see in horror movies.
I have been to one location in the Quarter that was a very eerie experience. We thought we were about to get mugged so we stepped into a bar. Only person there was four of us and the bartender. We had a drink and left. The next day we went by there and it was padlocked.
On a Haunted History Tour years later we were taken in front of the building and was told the building had been for sale for 20 years but no one would by it because of something that happened there in the late 1800's.
I could go into all the gruesome details but I've already written a novella and I'm starving. I need a feeding.

why can Hayden talk to other HGs? I thought the point of "solitary" was that you are alone. Doesn't really make it seem so bad, except for the toilet/bucket part. But the bread? that I could handle. Danielle was locked in a room. but they didn't have "have-nots" back then. Come on Kristen, think. She's going about it all wrong. Here's the best plan for Kristen. She should up to HOH and meet with Brendon, Brit and Rachel. Tell her this is Brendon and Rachel's chance to no longer be the house against Bren/Rach. They can create a powerful 5 person alliance consisting of Brit, Kristen, Rachel, Bren, and Hayden. This would highly appeal to Bren and Rach who feel that it is house vs them. They would now have 3 other people not putting them up on the block. They could definitely make it to final 5 this way, and then most likely, final 2/3ish, as they win comps. This is how Kristen should sell Brit taking her down- Rach and Bren could certainly convince Brit to do so, if Rach and Bren thought it was in their best interests.
Sadly, I don't think Kristen will think of this... as she has turned to Kathy to come up with some sort of alliance with Brit. No one would want an alliance with Kris and Brit. That plan will never work.

I am sad to see Kristen go, she was a Civil and nice and quiet person-until she pulled that stunt. I probably would have played the same way. I was rooting for Andrew, Kristen, Kathy and Reagan. I really Liked Andrew and Kristen, but now my back up plan is for Kathy or Reagan. It is in Britney's best interest to not use the veto (IMO).
She is smarter than she has seemed in the first weeks, and she has to know that even though she is not a target of Lane, Enzo and Matt and even Hayden and Kristen immediately, but they will turn on her waaaaaay before any of them would nominate or backstab eachother.
At least with doing as Rachel and Brendon want she stays in their good graces and probably Ragan's as well. I'd say a rational person would rather be 3rd out of a 3 person alliance, than first out of a 6 person alliance (if you include her in the numbers).
Hopefully my theory is not biased given I still cannot find the bad in Rachel and Brendon.

Sparks: I 100% agree. If Kristen would have just laid low last week and not turned on Andrew and Rachel and Brendon, she would not be in this position right now whatsoever. Say what you want about Rachel, but her intuition about people's intentions has been spot on at almost every juncture in this game
But give credit where credit is deserved. If Andrew and Brendon wouldn't have tried to win the academy award for worst acting in a BB ceremony to fake out the house guests last week, Kristen probably would have been more inclined to stick with her original group...
*SIGH* I wish Hayden and Kristen had just stayed with Brendon, Rachel and Kristen (obviously a much stronger group than the Brigade) and Hayden could have persuaded the Brigade to go after the floaters before B/R (Kathy and Ragan and Britney) then they would have had an excellent shot at picking off a few of the Brigade and having numbers for the end game.
Andrew's acting last week along with Kristen's blow up has single handedly got Andrew evicted, ruined her own game, ruined Hayden's game, ruined Rachel's game and ruined Brendon's game.... talk about a ripple effect! LOL
ok, so this is random and off topic but has been bothering me. I don't like it when HGs say others don't deserve to be there.Everyone deserves it.They all tried out and got picked over thousands. Also I dislike when the feel someone "doesn't need the money". Winners should not be picked based on how much money they earn outside the house, or their profession. If they are there, they all deserve fair shot. I think they should look at each person equally. I thought it was a shame that Andrew felt the need to hide being a doctor. Just my thoughts
Sunshine: If Rachel didn't buy her BS before nominations, she isn't going to take the bait before the veto ceremony... if she had any faith in Kristen she wouldn't have nominated her this week. She would have gone after one of the boys or Kathy instead. She especially wouldn't have thrown salt in Kristen's wound by putting her up next to Hayden.
Tell Brit that Monet wouldn't like the way she's playing.Monet wuold want her to use the Veto????

Stephen - you are 100% dead on in your evaulations. I was really hopeful that K/H would have taken up R/B on their "couples" deal. It was obvious then and beyond obvious now regarding K&H. Andrew did the best he could to convice the group - odds stacked against him from the get go.
TWO POSTS FOR ONE RESPONSE:
HighHorse: While Kristen shouldn't accept defeat, I don't think that is her best option. Rachel is not going to trust Kristen anymore in this game, and Kristen' knows it (see my post in response to sunshine mom for my logic behind that conclusion). The ship of her joining up with Rachel and Brendon has long sailed.
IMO, she has one option that will be less effective but still has a dropping of integrity in it, and there is a complete backstab move she could do that would be more effective.
First less effective option would be to appeal to Britney that a floater (preferibly Kathy because she would go home) had been talking to her about getting Britney out because after Monet left she is flying under the radar and has been winning competitions and may be impossible to get out in the end game. This would prompt Britney to use the veto on her, and then they would have to push hard for Kathy to go up as a renom (which would involve telling Brendon and Rachel about alllll of the crazy stuff Kathy has been saying about them-- although them buying the truth is not likely).
The second option, although it would be very back-stabby to the point of indecency, would be potentially more effective. She needs to throw Hayden under the proverbial 16 wheel oversized semi-truck. She needs to pull Britney up to HOH with Rachel and Brendon. She needs to put on a depressed look with tears in her eye and tell Rachel that she admits saying that she was going after Brendon and Rachel but it was not her idea. She needs to say that Hayden threatened her into jumping ship with him because he thought it would be better to work with other people and she didn't think she had any other options. It ended up making her look like the bad guy and made Hayden look like the good guy and now she is stuck in this situation. Everything about turning on Andrew and starting fights with Rachel and being distant toward them was all Hayden pulling the strings on her... then she needs to say, "as much as it pains me to say it, Hayden did it to me and now I need to do it to him... we need to get rid of Hayden."
If she can get Rachel and Brittney to commit to saving Kristen, then they need to push for Kathy to go up... At that point Kristen has 2 options: go tell Hayden what was said but then get him to get the boys to save him and she can remain loyal to Hayden OR she can really stay with Rachel and actually try and get Hayden evicted.
While it probably won't be enough to get her far into the game, if she wants any chance at even staying in the game another week, she is gonna have to do a lot of lying, backstabbing and throwing under the good ol big brother bus!

Britney is very smart, much smarter than Kathy and Kristen. She is also protected by everyone right now and knows it. I am not at all worried she will be looking for Kristen to bust kneecaps on her behalf.

I just thought of something... Rachel and Brendon are kind of like Dick and Danielle....
Rachel has everyone rubbed the wrong way like Dick, and everyone takes out their frustration on Brendon because he is so closely associated with her (just like everyone got mad at her for what Dick did)... they were targets from the beginning but constantly won competitions to stay in the game...
Only problem is that Dick's cast was full of people who easily fell apart with the intimidation... this cast doesn't really have that as much...
Even so, there is proof in the pudding that that type of starategy can get you to the very end!

Anyway, have started typing all sentences spoken in my head since then. Very annoying. Especially with 3 sweet children. If you ever need an extra transcriber Carolyn, please let me know. Can type ridiculously fast due to this strange phenom.

@Stephanie From the West Coast: Laura was NOT wearing the unitard when she was evicted; the unitard did not make its appearance until later in BB11 and Lydia was the "lucky" winner. However, Casey was evicted wearing the banana costume and Kail in BB8 left the house dressed as a bunny rabbit.
I was really pulling for Kristen earlier in the game and hate that she was leaving. But she has only herself to blame. Severing ties with Rachel as soon as Matt won HOH was a horrible move, especially considering how emotional Rachel is and likely to be unconsolably offended. Kristen's best bet would be to throw Hayden under the bus and get Brendan back on her side.
Sparks: I reallllly want Kristen to go but I would love to see the Brigade start fighting amongst one another whilst Brendon and Rachel slowly start to slip under the radar! :-)

I think your option two could work. Although I think Kristen would have to get Hayden's approval before going to Rachel. I can see Rachel going to confront Hayden, and then it would wind up backfiring on Kristen.

Therese: I did nutrisystem and so did my mom! Some of the meals were very good, others not so much. Plus you still have to buy vegetables and stuff for side dishes... the portions are very small of the meals themselves (which they should be, but sometimes you finish and you are like REALLY?!?! LOL).
For me, I just did it because I was in my first year of law school and I didn't have time to cook and got sick of doing the whole fastfood thing whenever I had time to eat... it really helped keep my eating in check and I actually got a little underweight because of it... I dropped to about 160 pounds and that is pretty skinny for someone that is 5'10.... well maybe not as skinny as ragan! LOL
My mom was probably like 20 pounds overweight (don't tell her I told you!!!!) and she lost it all and then some... I think if you have the will power to stay on it it really does have results... but I think that is true of any diet plan... its staying on it that is hard but effective and not so much the plan itself.
That being said, they have deals at certain points throughout the year so if you decide to do nutrisystem, make sure you sign up when they have specials going on!

Therese: 30 pounds?! Based on your picture if you lose that much there will be nothing left but bones! Make sure to stay healthy! :-)
But you know your body best and if you think that is a healthy goal, it is definitiley possible. Just keep in mind that if you lose weight to fast, it comes back even faster! Try and lose 2-3 pounds per week until you reach your goal...
One thing people don't know is drinking water can actually help you lose 5 pounds... a lot of people say they can't lose those last few pesky pounds, and it is because they are dehydrated. You are supposed to drink (per day) 64 fluid ounces at normal weight, and then another 8 fluid ounces for every 20 pounds you are overweight... add another 8 fluid ounces if you live in a very hot climate... I try and drink about 70-80 fluid ounces per day
Also, there is a thing called the master cleanse (the lemonade diet) and it is more of a detox flush and you are meant to gain much of the weight back, but it is a great thing to do to start a new diet. You juice lemons and add grade B maple syrup and cayenne pepper and water and are allowed to drink 2 liters of it per day and then as much water as you want. Then you are supposed to flush your body in the evening with either a salt water solution or laxitive tea... some people do it for 30 days, but just for a general flush 5-10 days is great! It cleans your body out and you feel great! The maple syrup gives you glucose so you don't starve and the cayenne pepper keeps your metabolism going strong! I have done that for 21 days and I lost 25 pounds (and looked disgustingly skinny) but once I started eating normal food again I gained 15-20 of it back but I felt soooo great and healthy afterwards!
That sure took a long time for the unitard to make an appearance. I've been away for a while & came back & thought maybe they had frozen the feeds. I expected it to have all been shown now.

All great points here. But I really sincerely think that if Kristen could sell the idea that Bren and Rach could be in a 5 person alliance if Brit took her down, that they would consider it. They have been trying to get Ragan into an alliance, and also Matt. Neither Ragan or Matt jumped at that. No one wants to be attached to Bren/Rach. Only someone very desperate. (Hay and Kris.) Would it be beneficial to Brit? Probably not, but I think she would do it if Rach and Bren argued for it.
And if Kristen approached Bren/Rach correctly, I think she would have a chance.
Although that other interesting theory (throwing Hayden under the semi-trailer) might also work.

Everyone in the house knows that I have clippers so when they ask its not like I can say, "No... you're vile, the thought of you touching anything of mine makes me sick." I couldn't say that... so I had to say "absolutely." That beasts' fur in my clippers......... YUCK! It took a hurculean effort and bottles of alcohol just so I could use them again. Not only does it have his germs on it, it has his bad karma on it as well. But I PROMISE you... those clippers will be in the garbage the SECOND I walk out of this house 500,000 dollars richer."

Thank you so much for the offer. This is going to sound horrible, but, I don't cook - my husband does, and he also does the shopping. Also, I work in D.C., an hour from my house and get home late at night, plus I am in school, so time is not on my side. (Hence why I am not chatting with everyone here as much as I would like).
This is why I liked the way NutriSystem looked after doing my research. There is a convenience factor, and after doing this for three months, I am hoping it helps me with portion control, because I love food. :-) And you have someone work with you on tips etc., for when you are done loosing the weight.

Zach, Danielle, Jen and Jameka had to do that plus had to "dump the funk" every hour for 25 hours and Jameka gave up the right to play in the next 5 HOH competitions... which is ultimately what played a big part in her going to the final 4... plus Jen and her had to go on slop for a full month.
Okay- yes, I am new to the feeds, but hg's eating is just nasty. My mama raised me to eat with my mouth closed for goodness sake.
HighHorse: Obviously if she can make the sell it would work but I think Kristen has passed the point of no return... she would have not put them up if she had any faith in an alliance with them in the future... even if they do end up staying in the game, it would take longer than this week for them to join forces...

JLUVS: You are supposed to lose the weight fast and supposed to gain it back. I never did the cleanse to lose weight, I did it to detox. It was amazing! When you do the nightly cleanse the first few days, you would be surprised at what lovely treasures your intestines have been holding onto! LOL! I never advocate losing weight fast, slow and steady is the way to go. When you do a cleanse, you do it for the flushing of the system... it would be unhealthy to keep all that weight off in such a short period! :-)

As for all you folk talking about dieting. I have been trying to think of my food as fuel for my body. I won't shove a donut in my car so why shove a donut in me? I have been working out 3 times a week. Some type of cardio 2 - 3 times a week. Haven't lost any pounds but all my clothes are fitting different.
I had thought about trying one of the diets that you buy the food but for me, I need to learn how to use food as fuel, not as comfort. I give myself one day, sometimes two to eat what ever I want. I find that I am making better choices.
I have a stickie in my cube that says "It's all about the choices".
Also, when you are ready to change, you change.

Fancy Jane - I agree about the smacking & chewing sound on the feeds. Drives me nuts sometimes but it's a little out of their control too. The mic's are close to their mouths & are very sensitive to all sounds. I have to keep reminding myself of that when it starts to grate on my nerves. But, there are some that do chew w/ their mouths open & no excuse for those bad manners! LOL!

So NutriSystem did work for you and your mom, that is encouraging. You just reminded me about my need to consume more water. I just went and got another 8 oz bottle. That is a part that you have to mark off on your tracker in NutriSystem, how much water you drink.
I am 5'7 and 174, so I guess the weight is somewhat proportioned, but i believe a healthy weight for my height is in-between 136 and 154. Also, I tilt my webcam camera down towards my face, and it hides my slight double chin, but shhh, don't tell anyone.
Convenience is a definite reason that I chose NutriSystem, hoping it could teach me what I needed to learn without me having to invest a ton of time. Working out is another challenge for me, just finding the time to stick t0 a 7 day workout.
I already signed up, but I did do it during a special, $50 off each order for three months.
I have heard of different types of cleanse options, but have always been nervous to do them. I am sure at some point I will wind up giving it a try.

Therese: I did Nutri system many,many years ago back when you went to pick up your very horrible food each week. I lost 25 lbs but quit because I as paying 65 dollars a week for food and it because out of my budget. now I am taking an all natural supplement. 5 herbs icluding green tea, a natural diuretic and a liver cleanse. I lost 11 lbs so far since last Tuesday and I have not exercised or really changed my eating habits that much. I feel full and eat smaller portions. It's a constant stuggle. Therese, I most certainly will email you. I have learned so much about the food industry, and there's ALOT of hidden ugliness that you just wouldn't believe. There are so many food products that say "fat free" or "light" and they are FULL of sugar. Do NOT buy anything with HFSC (high fructose corn syrup) that crap is what causes belly fat! Also, do not buy anything with hydrogenated oils, that means trans-fat, and food companies are allowed to say No Trans Fat becuz if it's less than 1% the FDA doesn't make them put trans fat on labels! It's crazy, and America is the only country who uses that HFCS crap. It is in SO many products, esp ones that are marked Light and Fat Free. Anyway, I'll email you so I don't bore everyone else. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I actually want to write a book after my total weight loss goal of 60 pounds.
My guess for the veto ticket is that Ragan will get to play in any veto her wants, even if he isn't chosen. Or maybe even getting to replace himself with someone who is playing in the veto (including an HOH or nominee)... that way if he gives up the right to play in a veto competition in a different competition he can still play if he is in jeopardy, or if there is someone on the block that he does not want to be able to play for the veto, he can replace himself with them.

is it just me or does Kristen look like Mrs Roper in that wig? But I like the uni. she looks great in it. on another note, is anyone else wishing BB could come up with some "new" challenges and contests. Doesn't it seem very predictable these last few seasons?
I really didn't care for Hayden. I thought he was a little odd looking and he didn't seem to have much of a personality. But he began to grow on me and as he did I also started to think he was kind of cute.
Seeing the close-up of him and Kristin touching each other's fingers under the crack of the door makes me love him.
Assuming he is the one to stay, I hope he goes into Thursday's HOH with a killer instinct and a burning need to avenge his lady love.
Well, I guess it doesn't have to be that dramatic, but if he could at least win I would be happy.
You know, I feel a little dirty watching their finger love. Kind of like Midnight Express in the BB house.
I know i am in the minority on this but i seriously LOVE kristen and haydens little awkward fling.... i find myslef giving them the dialogue they *should be saying to each other:) LOL as my husband sits here and scoffs...

Thanks for the advice about the cleanses, but they just sound too gimmicky to me. I have turned into a total health nut and will never go back to my old habits.

Therese: If you are as busy as it seems, NutriSystem is DEFINITIELY the way to go... As I said, I started it just because I was in law school and didn't have time to cook healthy so that kind of forced me to be healthy. And it you are faithful to the program, it definitely works!
And I am telling you, hydration is your new best friend! It gives you energy and you feel better even if you didn't think you felt sluggish before! Water is amazing. LOL! Just be prepared to go pee every 2 minutes at first if you haven't been hydrating properly... it goes away after 4-6 days, i promise!
As for cleanses, I wouldn't recommend them as a diet, but just as a good way to start a diet because your body is cleansed of toxins and other junk and its kind of "starting on a clean slate" at least that is how I look at it... I have only done the master cleanse but it is the only one I would do because it has the glucose so you don't starve yourself and it has the pepper to keep your metabolism in check!
